The main purpose of this study is to argue that the distributional asymmetries of wh-phrases in Korean interrogatives can be optimally explained under the ‘Parametrized Agree’ analysis of Kim’s(2006) Revised Probe-Goal Framework. Under the argumentation, it goes to light that the two kinds of wh-asymmetries in Korean: the argumentnonargument asymmetry and the selection-nonselection asymmetry are efficiently captured in terms of the Binding Theory (A) and the Copy Identification Principle respectively under Kim’s (2006) analysis.
Effect of Auricular acupuncture on Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting

본 논문은 수술후 오심, 구토증에 대한 이침요법의 효과를 연구하기 위하여 시도되었다. 경희대학교 의과대학 부속병원에서 전신마취하에 복식 자궁절제술을 받기로 예정된 100명의 환자를 두 군으로 나누어 이침요법을 하지 않은 대조군과 이침요법을 시행한 실험군을 대상으로 연구를 하였다. 대상환자의 연령, 체중, 신장, 마취시간은 두 군간에 통계적으로 유의성있는 차이는 없었다. 수술후 12시간이내에 한번이라도 오심, 구역 및 구토가 발생된 환자는 대조군이 68%, 실험군이 30%으로 실험군이 대조군에 비하여 유의성있는 효과를 보였다. 이침요법에 의한 부작용은 나타나지 않았다. 이침요법은 복식 자궁절제술 후 오심, 구토를 부작용없이 예방하는데 상당한 효과가 있는 것으로 사려된다. We have studied the effect of auricular acupuncture on postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). 100 female patients undergoing transabdominal hysterectomy were entered into the study. The patients were divided into two groups (auricular acupuncture treatment group and non-treatment group) to test the effectiveness of auricular acupuncture. acupuncture consisted of needle insertion in one ear at four points: sympathetic, stomach, shinmoon and occiput. Before the operation, the above points were punctured perpendicularly by the thumbtack-type needle, leaving its handle lying flat on the skin surface. There was no significant difference in age, weight, height and duration of anesthesia among the two groups of patients. There was a cignificant difference between the control group and auricular acupuncture treatment group in the incidence of vomiting at the first 12 h after surgery 68% and 30%, respectively, p<0.01) No noteworthy side effects fbom treatment were observed. auricular acupuncture is effective in reducing nausea and vomiting after transabdominal hysterectomy in female patients.
중증도 분류 교육 프로그램이 중증도 분류 정확성에 미치는 효과 -119구급대원을 중심으로-

The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the triage training program utilizing pre-and post-training experiments designed for 119 emergency medical services teams. Objectives: This study evaluated the effectiveness of triage training programs on the accuracy of triage performed by 119 emergency medical services team staff who participated in the triage training program. Behavior: Participants in this study included 119 of the 166 EMS staff. In this program, a modified START triage consisting of a 20-minute theoretical presentation was presented to the participants. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Results: A significant increase in triage accuracy for 119 EMS teams(p<.001). And undertriage showed a significant decrease(p<.001). In addition, overtriage showed a decrease but was not statistically significant. Conclusions: The results obtained from this study showed that the triage training program was effective in improving the accuracy of the triage of multiple injury patients or disaster victims when presented to the 119 emergency medical services team. Therefore, these results suggest that it would be helpful to add triage training to the fire department's formal training program.

A modified generalized particle algorithm, MGPA, was suggested to improve the computational efficiency of standard SPH method in numerical analysis of high speed impact behavior. This method uses a numerical failure mechanism than material failure models to describe the target penetration. MGPA algorithm was more effective to describe the impact phenomena and new boundaries produced during the calculation process were well recognized and treated in the target penetration problem of a bullet. When bullet perforation problems were analyzed by this method, MGPA algorithm calculation gives the stable numerical solution and stress oscillation or particle penetration phenomena were not shown. The error range in ballistic velocity limit is less than $2{\sim}13%$ for various target thickness.

Objective : In March 2004, the second Informal Consultation Meeting on Development of International Standard of Acupuncture Point Locations was held in Beijing, China. Methods: Thirteen experts from WHO, Korea, China, and Japan attended the meeting, and they discussed the problems to establish an international standard of acupuncture point locations for education, research and quality of acupuncture treatment. Results and Conclusions : Based on the fundamental principles of respecting and reality, they recommended to determined the location of acupuncture points in the way of combining documentary analysis, clinical practices and factual measurements.
Effect of a Sunken Mat Foundation on the Horizontal Design Spectrum of a Structure

In this paper, horizontal seismic responses of a structure built on a sunken mat foundation were compared with those built on a solid embedded mat foundation to investigate the effect of a sunken mat foundation on the horizontal response of a structure. Seismic analyses of a structure laid on the embedded mat foundation were performed by utilizing a pseudo-3D finite element software of P3DASS. Three bedrock earthquake records downloaded from the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center database were scaled to reproduce weak-moderate earthquakes. Weak, medium, and stiff soil layers were considered for the seismic analyses of the structure-foundation-soil system. Parametric studies were performed for foundation radius, foundation embedment depth, and shear wave velocity of a soil layer to investigate their effect on the seismic response spectrum. The study result showed that the design spectrum of a structure built on a sunken mat foundation was similar to that with a solid embedded mat foundation showing a slight difference due to almost the same seismic base motion beneath both embedded foundations.
그래프 임베딩과 관련된 이항 트리에서의 Q-에지 번호매김에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 그래프 임베딩 문제와 관련된 이항트리에서의 Q-에지 번호매김 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 연구결과는 신뢰성이 높은 통신망을 설계하는 최적화 문제인 "n 개의 노드와 e 개의 에지를 가지면서 연결도가 최대인 그래프를 구성하라."를 해결한 Harary 그래프의 일반화인 원형군 그래프(circulant graph)의 점프열로 Q-에지번호들을 이용하면 연결도가 최대인 신뢰성이 높은 새로운 상호연결망(interconnection networks)의 위상을 설계할 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 위상은 이항트리를 스패닝 트리로 가지므로 최적방송이 가능하다. In this paper, we propose the Q-edge labeling method related to the graph embedding problem in binomial trees. This result is able to design a new reliable interconnection networks with maximum connectivity using Q-edge labels as jump sequence of circulant graph. The circulant graph is a generalization of Harary graph which is a solution of the optimal problem to design a maximum connectivity graph consists of n vertices End e edgies. And this topology has optimal broadcasting because of having binomial trees as spanning tree.
