무용전공 고등학생의 대학선택 결정요인 및 진로기대 탐색

This study aimed to explore the factors in choosing a university among high school students majoring in Korean dance and their expectations about their career after graduation. To this end, one-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 high school students majoring in Korean dance, who are preparing for college entrance. As a result of analyzing the contents of the in-depth interview, among the 2 factors, factors in choosing a university and career expectations, 8 sub-components were deduced. The results of this study are as follows. First, the factors in choosing a university turned out to be future career, the influence of a role model, one’s dancing style, and college education system. Second, as for career expectations after graduation from college, high school students majoring in Korea dance expect regional advantage, style of dance in each university, and reputation of universities to have a positive effect on their career. On the other hand, some answered that there was no connection between one’s college and career and that they had not thought about it, revealing the tendency of not establishing a long-term, systematic plan for the future. 본 연구에서는 한국무용 전공 고등학생을 대상으로 대학을 선택하는 결정요인과 졸업 후 자신의 진로에 대한 기대를 탐색하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이에 따라 대학 입시교육을 받고 있는 한국무용 전공 고등학생 10명을 대상으로 1:1 심층면담을 진행하였다. 그리고 심층면담 내용을 분석한 결과 대학선택 요인과 진로기대 탐색의 2개의구성요인 중 총 8개의 하위 구성요소로 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 대학선택 결정요인에 대한 연구 결과 한국무용 전공 고등학생들은 향후 진로를 염두한 선택, 롤 모델의영향, 본인 춤 스타일, 대학교육 시스템에 관련된 선택을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 졸업 후의 진로기대에 대한 연구결과 한국무용 전공 고등학생들은 지역적 이점과 대학별 춤 경향, 그리고 대학의 명성이 자신의 진로에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것이라고 기대하고 있었다. 반면 출신 대학과 진로는 연계성이 없다고 생각하거나 생각해보지 않았다는 답변도 나옴으로써 자신의 인생 설계를 체계적이고, 장기적인 안목으로 수립하지 않는 경향도 발견되었다. 따라서 한국무용 전공 고등학생들은 자신의 진로를 선택하는데 있어 자신의 능력 수준과 적성에 맞는 분야를 다양하게 탐색하여야하고, 단순히 대학의 명성을 믿고 있는 것이 아닌 취업을 위한 장기적이고 체계적인준비기간과 계획을 수립해야 할 필요가 있는 것으로 사료된다.

전문 무용예술 지원을 위한 예술지원사업 현황 및 주요 현안

This study aimed to examine the current policy and major issues of organizations that support the field of dance and to understand what approaches are considered to expand and develop the basis of professional dance. As a result, the study identified the following results. First, specific criteria for selecting beneficiaries should be determined. Second, support for traditional art projects should be expanded. Third, support funds should be balanced regionally. Fourth, projects that are receiving support through more than one channel should be rearranged and new projects should be devised or diversified. Fifth, the credibility and transparency of projects should be promoted through continuous management and reporting of beneficiaries. This research identified a strong need to further improve the policy for promoting high-standard art production for professional dance. In addition, acknowledging that arts in closer relation to everyday life are being emphasized to expand the basis for culture and art enjoyment, it is important to fairly distribute support across different sectors including classical dance. Prior to this, there need to be institutional improvements toward ensuring the autonomy and independence of public and private organizations, including the Arts Council Korea, and concrete efforts to implement innovative agendas. 본 연구는 각 전문 무용예술 지원 기관의 정책현황과 주요 현안을 살펴보고, 무용예술에서 발전확대가 될 수 있는 방향들을 어떠한 관점으로 접근해 보는지에 대한 목적을 가지고 진행하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 지원사업의 대상에 대한 구체적인 기준이 정해져야 한다. 두 번째, 전통예술에 대한 지원사업의 확대가 필요하다. 세 번째, 지역별 지원기금의 균형성이 보장되어야 한다. 네 번째, 중복 지원되는 사업들을 재정비하고 개선하여 새로운 지원사업을 고안하거나 다양화시키는 노력이 필요하다. 다섯 번째, 사업선정단체의 지속적인 관리와 성과보고를 공유, 신뢰도와 투명도를 증진시켜야 한다. 본 연구를 통하여 전문무용예술을 위한 수준 높은 예술 창출을 위한 정책개선과 문화예술향유권 확립을 위한 지원에 있어서 중립과 함께 지원사업의 분배도 필요할 것으로 보인다. 따라서 한국문화예술위원회를 비롯한 국공립, 민간지원 기관들의 자율성과 독립성을 지속적으로 강화하기 위한 제도적 개선과 혁신의제 구현을 위한 구체적인 실행노력도 필요할 것이다.

무용 작품의 OSMU 동향 분석을 통한 무용산업의 발전 전략 연구

The purpose of this study was to examine the positive effects of dance works used in the dance industry in terms of OSMU along with direct performance and success along with cases in which dance was used in terms of MU of OSMU to suggest ways for dance to grow as an OS. At this, classifications were made into two types, and case observations showed that the first includes cases in which characters in literature (traditional fairy tales) were made into dance works and the second includes cases in which historical figures were made into dance works, and they were used in various forms while maintaining a one source form within various genres such as ballet, Korean dance, and modern dance. The results of this study show that the current status of OSMU in the dance industry and OSMU strategies and utilization plans for the development of dance works in the future found from OSMU cases are as follows. First, one source development for multi-use is needed. Second, new interpretations of multi-use are needed from industrial aspects. Third, the roles of managers and dancers who use OSMU strategies in the dance industry and in dance work choreography are needed. It seems that dancers also need roles that consider the marketing elements of OSMU strategies along with more flexible thinking. In addition, continuous support methods for works with OSMU strategies should be considered on levels of national support. 본 연구는 무용산업에서 OSMU 활용이 무용 작품의 직접적인 성과와 흥행에 과연 어떠한 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔는지, OSMU의 MU측면에서 무용이 활용된 사례를 점검해보고 무용이 OS로 성장할 수 있는 방안을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 사례들은 문학 속 인물과 역사 속 인물 등이 무용 작품화된 경우로 구분할 수 있으며 발레, 한국무용, 현대무용 등 다양한 장르 안에서 원형 콘텐츠(one source)의 형태를 유지하면서 다각도로 활용(use)되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 도출할 수 있는 무용 작품 발전을 위한 OSMU 전략 및 활용방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 활용(multi-use)을 위한 원형 콘텐츠(one source)의 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 산업적 측면에서 다양한 활용에 대한 새로운 해석이 필요하다. 셋째, 무용산업과 무용 작품 안무에서 OSMU 전략을 활용하는 경영인과 무용인들의 역할이 필요하다. 무용인들에게도 OSMU 전략의 마케팅적인 요소를 고려한 역할과 보다 유연한 사고가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 또한 국가지원에서도 OSMU 전략을 가진 작품들의 지속적인 지원 방안도 고려되어야 할 것이다.

한국무용 전공자의 진로결정요인과 직업 무용수의 작품활동 지속요인 탐색

이 연구는 한국무용 전공자와 직업 무용수의 진로 결정요인과 작품활동 지속적인 요인을 탐색하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 이에 따라 대학을 졸업한 한국무용 전공자 5명, 현재 직업무용수로 활동 중인 5명을 대상으로 1:1 심층면담을 진행하였다. 심층면담 내용을 분석한 결과 한국무용 전공자들의 진로 결정요인에는 1개의 구성요인 중 총 3개의 하위 구성요소로 결론을 도출하였으며, 직업 무용수의 작품활동 지속요인에는 1개의 구성요인 중 총 3개의 하위 구성요소로 결론이 도출되었다. 첫째, 한국무용 전공자들 진로결정요인 대한 연구 결과 미래지향적 요인, 둘째, 멘토의 영향, 셋째, 춤 스타일 및 개인성향에 따른 결정요인이 진로에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자신의 인생 설계를 체계적이고, 장기적인 안목으로 수립하지 않는 경향도 발견되었다. 직업무용수의 경우 지속적인 작품활동 요인으로 첫째, 자생력을 위한 환경적 지원, 둘째, 예술가로서의 성장이나 자기만족, 셋째, 중견무용가로서의 책임감 등으로 도출되었다. The purpose of this study was to explore the career determinants of Korean dance majors and professional dancers and the factors that continued their artistic activities. Accordingly, one-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted with 5 college graduates majoring in Korean dance and 5 currently active as professional dancers. As a result of analyzing the contents of the in-depth interview, it was concluded that the career determinants of Korean dance majors consisted of 3 sub-components out of 1 component, and 3 sub-components of 1 component were included in the continuation factor of professional dancers’ artistic activities. A conclusion was drawn from the factors. First, as a result of the study on the career determinants of Korean dance majors, it was found that future-oriented factors, second, mentor’s influence, third, and determinant factors according to dance style and personal orientation affect career paths. However, it was also found that they did not plan their life in a systematic, long-term view. In the case of professional dancers, the factors for continuous artistic activity are: First, environmental support for self-reliance; Second, growth or self-satisfaction as an artist. Third, it was derived from the sense of responsibility as a middle-class dancer.
