고체 로켓 추진기관에 적용 가능한 전기-기계식 점화안전장치를 설계하고 제작하였다. 본 전기-기계식 점화안전장치는 로터리 솔레노이드를 이용하여 장전되고 내장된 전기식 착화기를 발화하여 점화 에너지를 발생시킨다. 점화안전장치의 점화 성능을 검증하기 위한 방법으로 10-cc 밀폐용기 시험(Closed Bomb Test)을 실시하였고 점화안전장치 작동시 발생되는 고온, 고압의 가스로 인하여 밀폐용기 내부에 형성되는 압력을 계측하였다. Electro-Mechanical Ignition Safety Device(EMISD) for solid rocket motor is designed and manufactured. The EMISD utilizes a true rotary solenoid for arming mechanism and an electric squib(initiator) for generating ignition energy. In order to prove the ignition capability of the EMISD, 10-cc Closed Bomb Test(CBT) is performed, which measures the pressure built by high temperature and high pressure gas generated by operating EMISD.

Metallothioneins (MTs) are low molecular weight, cysteine-rich, and heavy metal binding proteins, which could be induced with heavy metals such as Cd, Hg, Zn and Cu in liver, kidney, and in cultured cells. By using ion exchange chromatography on DE-52, MT was purified from the serum of carp induced with cadmium in order to produce antibody against MT. Polyclonal antibody produced against purified carp MT reacted well with MT in the serum of carp induced with cadmium, whereas control serum did not. This may indicate that the polyclonal antibody against the carp MT could be used for the preparation of biosensors to detect MT in fishes like carp.

Model-based testing is a kind of black box testing that test suites are derived from behavioral model of SUT through test case generation and execute test suites automatically by model-based testing tool. A model-based testing tool uses various test generation algorithms and criteria to generate test cases. The behavioral model of SUT has to be concise enough to write and validate. Also, be precise enough to specify the behavior which is to be tested. Test cases can be generated automatically from the model and test engineer can control testing and maintain test cases easily. The abstract test cases have to be transformed into executable test cases with more specific information about SUT. Test selection criteria and lots of test generation strategies are commonly used in model-based testing. The complementary of these are key point of model-based testing. For this purpose, several state-based models are developed and test suites which derived from various test generation strategies, especially focused on transition coverage, are performed. Also, testing performances are discussed for test coverage of each test suite.

The active geometry control suspension, which is designed by HyundaiㆍKia Motor Company, is unique system. This system has installed at Sonata 2.4 model and it evaluated on vehicle performance before. This paper deals the reliability evaluation for the suspension system, therefore, it should contains wide range of test categories. However, authors focus on the proving ground test with single lane change, double lane change, and slalom passing histories. In addition, the results on the proving ground compare with the results of without active geometry control suspension system for the control logic reliability.

The backscattering echo width solution of a dielectric coated slotted circular cylinder with thickness is investigated by using mode-matching technique. It is shown that not only coating material and size of the geometry, but also thickness of the slotted cylinder can cause great influence to the RCS characteristics of the cavity goemetry. It is also found that the slot material can plays important role in RCS variation of the slotted cylinder with thickness.
Diels-Alder 반응에서의 입체 선택성에 관한 분자 궤도론적 연구

The sterecchemistry of Diels-Alder reactiens of cyclopentadiene with CH₂=CHY, cis-and trans-CH₃CH=CHY, and CH₂=C(CH₃)y, where Y denotes CHO, CCCH₃, CCOH, COCCH₃, and Y, was investigated. For Diels-Alder reactions with varicus olefins except α-methylated olefin, the custemary endo rule has been found to be of importance in determining the ende/exo ratics of preducts fcrmed in reactions with these dienophiles. The diene(LUMO)-dienophile(ECMO) interection is particularly the major factor for determining its endo selectivity. Thus, the sterecehemical course of these reactions is FMO-centrolled prcess. In case of reactions with α-methylated olefins, the Alder endo rule is of no importarce in determining its endo selectivity because of ineffective secondary orbital interaction and π-nonbonded mteraction. Therefore, the exo adduct, thermodynamically more stable, is the major stereoisomer. Thus, these reactions are thermodynamically-controlled process.
