The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of the floor classification and the main-living behavior, and the tendency of using furniture and space by surveying the situations of using An-bang space by apartment dwellers. An-bang is a factor that influences on the unit-plan organization, the whole spatial arrangements, and the spatial relation and size, and has the most severe friction between the tradition and western culture. Given seeing the results shown in the main-living behavior by floor type, that the rest and TV watching were shown to be high in terms of a free-standing type can be said that An-bang is more for the individual rest than far the purpose of family harmony. On the other hand, that the family courtesy was shown to be a little higher a sitting-down type, could be understood that the sitting-down style, which is a traditional living mode, is appearing in An-bang.

The microstructural alteration of α phase by various solution treatment and cooling conditions have been studied for Ti-6Al-4V alloy. Edge shape α phases were formed when it was the first solution treated at β region and the second solution treated at 960℃ or 930℃, followed by water quenching. Floral pattern structures were formed when it was the first solution treated at β region and the second solution treated at 960℃ or 930℃, followed by air cooling. When the specimen was the second solu-tion treated at 960℃ or 930℃, and furnace cooled, edge shape α phase changed its morphology to equiaxed structure. The second solution treatment at 900℃, followed by water quenching, had fine and homogene-ous mixed structures of equiaxed and widmanstatten structure with retained β phase as martensite. This is considered to be optimum microstructure to improve mechanical properties.

This paper proposes a tactile transfer and display method between a data glove and vibration motors module. The data glove is developed to capture the hand postures and to measure the grip forces. The measured data are simplified with the proposed 5-bit transfer and display algorithm, and the vibration motors module is developed to display the measured hand posture and grip force to the operator. The proposed 5-bit algorithm contains both an 8-step hand posture and 4-step grip force level information for tactile transfer to the vibration motors module. Also, the effectiveness of the proposed method is shown through several experiments.

The effect of lubrication on the evolution of strain states during shape rolling in AA5052 sheet was studied by the finite element method (FEM) simulation. The strain states calculated by FEM were verified by texture analysis. Shape rolling with and without lubrication produces shape-rolled samples in fairly similar outer shapes, since the distribution of normal strain components is nearly independent of the lubrication condition. In contrast, the distribution of shear strain components strongly depends on the lubrication condition. Shape rolling without lubrication gives rise to the development of strong shear strain gradients leading to the formation of highly inhomogenous textures and microstructures. The {011}//ND fiber develops during rolling with the operation of plane strain plus ε22. (Received January 14, 2009)

In order to vary the primary recrystallization textures, AA 1050 sheets were cold rolled in two different manners. Differences in cold rolling schedule gave rise to the formation of different cold rolling textures also leading to the formation of different primary recrystallization textures. Upon annealing for grain growth, changes in microstructure and texture hardly occurred in the sample depicting Cube recrystallization texture, while grain growth was accompanied with the development {001}<100> Cube texture in the sample displaying a recrystallization texture comprising of weak rolling texture components. The selective growth of Cube oriented grains is attributed to the high mobility of their grain boundaries. (Received January 6, 2009)

안개는 시정과 일사를 차단하여 항공기, 차량, 선박 등 교통에 피해를 입히며, 인간생활에 미치는 영향이 점점 커지고 있다. 하지만 큰 규모의 기상요소와는 달리 안개의 예측은 국지적인 특성으로 인해 어려움이 많다. 헌재까지 안개 예보칙은 수치예보모델이 주를 이루고 있고, 지역적으로 경험 및 통계자료를 이용한 국지예보법을 이용하고 있다. 이러한 방법들은 지역적인 특성을 잘 반영하지 못하고 있거나, 객관적인 자료분석이 어렵다는 단점이 있는데, 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 인공신경망을 이용하여 안개를 예측하고자 하였다. 특히, 안개발생예측에 비해 상대적으로 거의 연구가 이루어지지 않았던 안개소산시간 예측에 심경망 모델을 적용하였고, 안개가 자주 발생하는 3개지역을 선정, 최근 10년간의 가을철 기상자료를 토대로 분석하였다.
기계환기폐렴의 원인균 진단에서 인공기도 흡인액을 이용한 Multiplex PCR과 세균배양 결과의 비교

연구배경: 기계환기폐렴의 원인균을 조기에 진단하면 이 질환의 예후를 개선할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기관내튜브 흡인액을 이용하여 기계환기폐렴의 주된 원인균인 녹농균, 폐렴막대균 그리고 메치실린내성 포도알균에 대한 multiplex PCR법을 시행하여 기계환기폐렴의 원인균을 조기에 진단할 수 있는지 살펴보았다. 방법: 기계환기폐렴으로 진단된 환자에서 24시간 이내에 기관내튜브 흡인액을 채취하여 -20°C 냉동실에 보관하였고, 추후에 multiplex PCR을 시행하였다. Forward & reverse primer는 각각의 원인균에 특이한 부위에 맞춰서 제작하였다(녹농균의 oprL gene, 폐렴막대균의 16S rRNA, 메치실린내성 포도알균의 mec gene). 기관내튜브흡인액의 배양검사를 포함한 기계환기폐렴 환자의 임상적 및 검사실 소견을 함께 분석하였다. 결과: 총 24명(남자 18명, 여자 6명)의 기계환기폐렴 환자가 연구에 포함되었다. 나이(평균±표준편차)는 70±11세였다. 모든 환자는 기저질환을 가지고 있었다. 기관내튜브 흡인액의 배양에서 11명에서 원인균이 검출되었다(녹농균 2예, 폐렴막대균 1예, 메치실린내성 포도알 균 2예, 기타 그람음성간균 3예, 폐렴알균 2예, 복합감염 1예). 녹농균에 대한 multiplex PCR은 3예에서 양성이 나왔으며, 2예가 배양결과와 일치하였다. 폐렴막대균에 대해서는 4예에서 양성이었으며, 1예가 배양결과와 일치하였다. 메치실린내성 포도알균은 2예에서 양성이었으나, 모두 배양결과와 일치하지 않았다. 기계환기폐렴의 예후는 적절한 항생제의 사용 여부와 폐렴 발생 당시의 APACHE III score에 영향을 받았다. 결론: 기관내튜브 흡인액을 이용한 multiplex PCR법은 기계환기폐렴에서 그람음성균의 진단에는 가능성을 보였으나, 향후 실제 유용성에 대해서는 추가 연구가 필요 할 것으로 사료된다. Background: Early identification of pathogens can improve the prognosis of patients with ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP). In the present study, we evaluated the feasibility of performing multiplex PCR for endotracheal aspirates to detect three important pathogens (P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae and MRSA) in patients with VAP. Methods: The endotracheal aspirates of 24 patients were collected within 24 hours of the diagnosis of VAP for performing multiplex PCR. Forward and reverse primers were designed to target the specific site of each pathogen (the oprL gene for P. aeruginosa, 16S rRNA for K. pneumoniae and the mec gene for MRSA). We analyzed the clinical data of the VAP patients, including the culture reports for the endotracheal aspirates. Results: Twenty-four patients (M:F=18:6, mean age=70±11) with VAP were enrolled. Pathogens were isolated from 11 patients (P. aeruginosa in 2, K. pneumoniae in 1, MRSA in 2, other enteric Gram negative bacilli in 3, S. pneumoniae in 2 and mixed infection in 1). Multiplex PCR detected three cases of P.aeruginosa (2 cases coincided with the culture reports) and four cases of K. pneumoniae (1 matched with the culture report). PCR detected two MRSA cases, which did not coincide with the culture reports. Conclusion: Multiplex PCR of the endotracheal aspirate showed some ability to detect Gram negative bacilli, although caution is required when interpreting the results.
