        북한의 ‘4대 강군화 노선’ 연구: 중국과의 비교와 함의

        Nuclear weapons do not have the same reliability as “All-round sword” that can deter all levels of conflict or provocation. Therefore, nuclear states must seek an appropriate “Mix of forces” of nuclear weapons and conventional forces for their security. And, in this process, “Security environment” and “Resource constraints” function as important variables. In the 1980s, China implemented a policy that prioritized economic construction in the construction of military forces while pushing for reform and opening. Then, after economic growth reached a certain level, it pursued full-fledged conventional military buildup. On the other hand, North Korea, under the reign of Kim Jong Un has been pursuing a strategy to concentrate all its energy on economic construction since possessing nuclear weapons, but rather is pursuing a policy to strengthen its conventional military power called the “Four powerful military lines.” This is because North Korea’s military policy is continuing with the strategic goal of “Changing the status quo” and controlling the reduction of its military armaments. 핵무기는 모든 수준의 분쟁이나 도발을 억제할 수 있는 ‘만능의 보검’과 같은 신뢰성을 가지지는 못한다. 따라서 핵보유 국가들은 자신들의 안보를 위해 핵무기와 재래식 전력의 적절한 ‘전력조합(mix of forces)’을 모색해야 한다. 그리고 이 과정에서 ‘안보환경’과 ‘자원제약’이 중요한 변수로 기능한다. 중국은 1980년대 개혁개방을 추진하면서 경제건설을 군사력 건설에 우선하는 정책을 시행하였다. 그리고 경제성장이 일정 궤도에 오른 후 본격적인 재래식 군사력 강화를 추구하였다. 반면 김정은 시대 북한은 핵 보유 이후 ‘경제건설 총력집중 전략’을 추진하면서도 오히려 ‘4대 강군화 노선’이라는 재래식 군사력 강화 정책을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 북한의 군사정책은 ‘현상변경적 전략목표’를 지속하며 군비 축소를 제어하고 있기 때문이다.

        GIS 진단시스템의 평가를 위한 PD 모의 펄스발생기 개발에 관한 연구

        The expansion and stable operation of electric power facilities are important factors with development of industrial facilities in modern society. In high-voltage equipment such as GIS, the insulation characteristics may be deterioated by environment-friendly gas adaption and miniaturization. There is also the possibility of accidents due to insulation breakdown due to the deterioration of power facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the diagnosis system to continuously monitor the danger signals of these power equipment and to prevent accidents. Most of the internal defects in the GIS system are conductive particles, floating electrode defects, protrusion defects, and the like. In this case, a partial discharge phenomenon is accompanied. These partial discharge signals occur irregularly and various noise signals are included in the field, so it is difficult to evaluate the reliability in the development of the diagnostic system. In this paper, a study was made on equipment capable of generating a partial discharge simulated signal that can be adjusted in size and frequency to be applied to a diagnostic device by electromagnetic wave detection method. The PD simulated pulse generator consists of a user interface module, a high-voltage charging module, a pulse forming circuit, a voltage sensor and an embedded controller. In order to simulate the partial discharge phenomenon similar to the actual GIS, a discharge cell was designed and fabricated. The application of the prototype pulse generator to the commercialized PD diagnosis module confirmed that it can be used to evaluate the performance of the diagnostic device. It can be used for the development of GIS diagnosis system and performance verification for reliability evaluation.

        Salicylic acid 및 1-MCP 처리가 ‘캠벨얼리’ 포도의 생리장해 및 품질에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 우리나라 대표 수출 포도 품종인 ‘캠벨얼리’ 를 대상으로 에틸렌작용억제제인 1-methylcylopropene(1- MCP)과 에틸렌생합성 저해 효과를 지닌 salicylic acid(SA)를 단독 혹은 병행처리하여 과실의 저장 및 유통환경에서 발생하는 탈립, 갈변 및 부패 등 생리장해의발생과 과실 품질에 미치는 영향을 에틸렌 발생물질인에테폰과 비교하여 검토하였다. 1-MCP 1,000ppb 훈증처리 후 SA 25μM을 살포 처리하고 19oC에서 16일간저장한 후 조사한 과립경도 및 산함량 수준은 단용처리에 비하여 높게 나타났다. 탈립률은 100μL·L-1 에테폰 처리구 41.7%, SA 처리구 40.8%, 1-MCP 처리구 38.2%로나타났으나 1-MCP 처리 후 SA를 처리한 경우는 18.7% 로 탈립방지 효과가 월등하였다. 브러쉬의 길이를 측정한 결과, 에테폰 처리구는 1mm 미만의 비율이 74.3%로매우 높게 나타났던 반면, 1-MCP 처리 후 SA를 처리한경우는 2-4mm의 비율이 22.8%, 4-6mm 비율이 27.9% 로 브러쉬 길이가 길게 조사되었다. 과축의 무게는 에테폰 처리구에서 2.3g으로 가장 낮아 감모율의 증가에 미치는 에틸렌의 영향과 1-MCP 및 SA의 감모 억제효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 1-MCP와 SA는 저장 중 ‘캠벨얼리’ 포도의 줄기갈변 억제 및 부패 경감에 일부 효과가 있음을 확인되어 추후 수출시 품질유지를 위한 기술 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. This study was conducted to compare the effect of salicylic acid (SA), an ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor, and the 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) fumigation, to prevent fruit quality deterioration and physiological disorders during the shelf-life of Korea’s leading export grape variety ‘Campbell Early’. The berries treated with SA after 1- MCP fumigation (1-MCP+SA) showed a higher firmness value and titratable acidity than single treatment of SA or 1-MCP. The rate of shattered berry was high as 41.7% for 100ppm ethephon spray, 40.8% for 25μM SA, and 38.2% for 1,000ppb 1-MCP, but showing only 18.7% when the SA was applied after 1-MCP fumigation. The ratio of short brushes less than 1mm was largest at 74.3% for ethephon treatment, while 1-MCP+SA treatment was found to have the longest brush length among all treatments, with a 2-4mm ratio of 22.8% and a 4-6mm ratio of 27.9%. The weight of rachis was found to be the lowest at 2.3g in the ethephon treatment, and the reduction of rachis weight loss per cluster by 1-MCP+SA treatment was evident. In addition, 1-MCP+SA treatment were effective in mitigating stem browning and berry decay during the 16-day storage period at 19oC in this cultivar, so it is believed that they can be used as a practical post-harvest treatment in grape exportation.

        배양조건과 정제방법 개선을 통한 탄저균 방어항원의 생산

        Recently many investigators have devoted considerable attention to the production and purification of PA for antigens, and the preparation of new synthetic medium (RM medium) have solved to increase the yields of the PA but, the low sensitivity of the PA to detect B. anthracis infections has remained as a problem to be solved. This study was undertaken to evaluate the yields of the PA from culture filtrates of B. anthracis Sterne $34F_2$ strain in modified RM medium in which 10 g/l of $NaHCO_3$ and 10g/l of glucose were replaced by 8 g/l and 5 g/l, and the first purification step of PA from culture broth was used hydroxyapatite. The PA was purified by hydroxyapatite column chromatography, DEAE-Sepharose CL-4B column chromatography and Toyo-pearl gel filtration chromatography. The yield of PA from the modified RM medium, 8.6 mg/l. Bacillus anthracis Sterne 34F$_2$균주로부터 PA를 생산하기 위해 RM배지를 변형하였다. NaHCO$_3$를 8 g/l에서 10 g/l로, glucose를 5 g/l로 첨가하여 새로운 배지조성에서 탄저균을 배양한 후, 배양액을 hydroxyapatite를 이용하여 농축하였다. 농축된 조단백질을 hydroxyapatite column chromatography, DEAE-Sepharose CL-4B column chromatography 및 Toyo-pearl gel filtration chromatography를 사용하여 PA를 정제하였다. 변형된 RM 배지를 사용해 얻은 PA 양은 8.6 mg/l 이었다.

      • 하계 트레이닝기간중 혈청 철분과 지질 및 운동수행 능력의 변화에 관한 연구

        The study was done in order to investigate the changes in hematological status related to iron and lipid metabolism, physical work capacity over a six-week period of training for male (N=6) and female (N=6) basketball athletes. The hematological variables and the items of physical work capacity were tested three times (pre, mid, post) for each two week with the beginning of the training. The results of a paired t-Test on this data were summarized as follows; 1. From the test of Basic Hematological Test, all items were not changed in male and female athletes. 2. The iron indices (SeFe^(++), TIBC, %TS) indicated that the stores of iron in the interior of the subject's body had decreased through the summer training. 3. The serum triglyceride decreased more than the total cholesterol, after six-week summer training. 4. In male athletes, the significant changes of All out time, Energy max and 9min-H.R response were observed, but in female athletes only the 3 min-HR response was significantly changed after three and six weeks. 5. VO₂ max, H.R max, 6 min-H.R response, Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure were not changed in both sexes.

        외상에 의한 뇌사자에서의 장기기증 : 3년간의 경험

        Organ transplantation has become a viable treatment for an increasing number of patients suffering from irreversible organ failure. But organ donation has not kept pace with steeply rising demand, many patients die each year while awaiting donor organ. The authors have analysed the 115 patients who contacted the our transplantation center for organ donation from May, 1995 to April, 1998. Successful donation was done in 62 cases(55.4%) and in 53 cases(44.6%), it was not possible due to non brain death state in 26 cases(49.1%), refusal of the relatives in 13 cases, improper state of the patients in 6 and cardiac arrest and death during the process in 3 cases. In successful 62 cases, 42(67.7%) of them was due to trauma. The main cause was car(42.8%) and the motor cycle was in the next position(33.3%). The motor cycle victims were younger than the victims by car. The refferal was mainly from the medical staffs(69.1%). Transplanted organs were 70 cases of kidney from 36 donors, comea 32 cases, heart valve 23 cases, liver 15 cases, heart 15 cases, pancreas 6 cases, bone 6 cases and one case of lung. The authors considered that to overcome recent organ shortage of transplantation, frequent commucation between transplantation team and trauma team was important as well as education of of the public.
