        형산강산(兄山江産) 잉어과 어류상

        The fish faeona of the Hyeongsan River was found to be as follows; 1. The study of fish fauna for this paper was achieved from May to August in 1978. 2. The collected cyprinid fishes from the Hyeongsan River are 13 species in 10 genera, i.e., Cyprinus carpio, Carassius auratus, Gnathopogon coreanus, Gnathopogon majimae, Pseudorasbora parva, Pungtungia herzi, Moroco oxycephalus, Moroco lagowskii, Tribolodon hakonensis, Zacco platypus, Zacco temmincki, Rhodeus ocellatus and Pseudoperilampus uyekii. 3. Among them the 5 species, Pseudorasbora parva, Moroco oxycephalus, Zacco platypus, Rhodeus ocellatus and Pseudoperilampus uyekii, are first described from this river. 4. Zacco temmincki is a dominant species in the whole river and Moroco oxycephalus at the upper, Zacco temmincki at the middle and Carassius auratus at the lower part of the river are dominant species in each studied area. 5. The number of distributed cyprinid species in this river compared to the adjacent river basins is 43.3% of the whole Nakdong River and 118.2% of the Taewha River.

        원동습지의 어류상과 군집구조

        The ichthyofauna and the structure of fish community were surveyed from June to August in 2000 at four stations of the Wondong marsh, Yangsan city in Kyungnam province. During the study period, 24 species belonging to eight families were collected. Cyprinid fish occupied 62.5%(15 species) and cobitid and centrarchid fish 8.3%(each 2 species). According to relative abundance in the whole marsh, Z. platypus(23.2%) was dominant species and S. gracilis majimae(14.2%) was subdominant species. M. salmoides (9.6%), C. auratus (8.3%), P. herzi (8.3%), M, yaluensis (6.5%), M. anguillicaudatus(4.0%), L. macrochirus(3.4%), P. parva(2.8%), R. ocellatus(2.5%), C. brevicauda(2.5%), C. sinensis(2.5%) and O. platycephala(22%) were common species and C. carpio, A. rhombeus, H. labeo, S. variegatus wakiyae, S. chankaensis tsuchigae, Z. temmincki, O. bidens, S. asotus, C. herzi, R. brunneus, C. argus were rare species which occupied less than 2.0% in relative abundance. Six species of S. variegatus wakiyae, S. chankaensis tsuchigae, S. gracilis majimae, M. yaluensis, C. herzi and O. platycephala in observed species were known as endemic species. By analyzing of fish community in the surveyed area, the species diversity and evenness of the fishes were high but dominance was low. And the similarity of the fish species among the sites was mid-grade as more than 0.55 in index.

        잉어과(Cyprinidae) 어류의 인상 Cyprininae 의 특성에 대하여

        The general morphological characteristics of scales on the body surface in Cyprininae fishes can be summarized as follows: 1) The lentic and lotic habitats have no relation to the phase of scales. 2) The scales in the anterior body parts have transverse diameters longer than their longitudinal diameters: in the posterior body parts, the opposite holds true. 3) The scales having the largest diameters, both longitudinal and transverse, are the lateral line scales. 4) The position of the focus on each scale move posteriorly as the scale grows. In other words, the forward growth of the scales exceeds the backward. 5) The number of ridges in each scale is in proportion to longitudinal diameter. 6) In Cyprinus, the scales on the middle part of the body surface have more grooves than those on the other parts. All scales on this species commonly show incompleted grooves on the anterior and posterior areas, but the lateral area lacks grooves entirely. 7) In Carassius, there are more completed grooves than incompleted grooves. All grooves are arranged in radial patterns on the scales.

      • 쉬리(Coreoleuciscus splendidus: Cyprinidae)의 頭骨에 대한 形態學的 硏究

        The Coreoleuciscus splendidus was described as a new species by Mori in 1935. Afterward the study on this species was done only by Yang on the charcteristics of pharyngeal bones and their teeth(1967) and their scales(1973). The author studied on a Korean endemic species, Coreoleucisus splendidus, as a part of serial works on the skeletons of Korean Cyprinid fishes. The numbers of samples are 30 individuals (Body length; 91-99㎜, Mean; 76㎜) from the Nakdong River Basin. The head bones of Coreoleuciscus splendidus are roughly consist of 29 Cranial bones and 73 Visceral bones. The characteristics on the head bones of this species are as followings; 1. Suprapharyngeal bone and opisthotic bone are absent, nasal bone remained vestigially or almost disappeared. 2. Several bones are fused to one: ethmoid bone and supraethmoid bone, lateral-ethmoid bone and prefrontal bone and pterotic bone and supraethmoid bone as well. 3. Orbital bones are consit of 6 pairs of bones; Two parts of the second suborbital bone are fused to one bone. The fourth suborbital bone is remained only the tubal structure. 4. Branchiostegal bones are 3 pairs of bones and dental formula of the pharyngeal teeth is 5, 2, 0-0, 2, 5.

        In global competition composition changing rapidly, domestic industry faces changes and logistics industry, one of service industries, is recognized as an important factor for development of domestic industry and national economy. At this moment, companies must suggest differentiated service, strategies, etc. so as to create and maintain competitive advantages in comparison with other companies. The requirements preannounce big movement of third party logistics market. Therefore, government, logistics industry and academic world have suggested lots of studies so as to vitalized third party logistics market. The purposes of this research are to verify that innovative changes are necessary to be existing in fierce competition of third party logistics market and analyze the effects of third party logistics on logistics outcomes so as to form continuous relations with shipper.

      • 人口問題의 生物學的 觀點

        The population education is more interesting problem in the modern society than any other previous ones. The biological problems of the human population are as follows: 1. There are about 4 billions of human-beings in the world and in the South. Korea there are 35 millions. The population growth rate per year of Korea was 2.0% in 1976. 2. The control of population growth is inevitable to keep the balance of ecosystem. 3. The biology textbook must include the biological education of the population problem as the unit of reproduction and ecosystem. 4. In the unit of ecosystem of the biology textbook, the environmental pollution accompanied by development of the modern industry should be introduced to student by teacher. 5. In the unit of reproduction and development, the functional importance of the reproductive organs and sexual morality has to be introduced to student by teacher. 6. In the school education, the sex education should be fulfilled to the student for the future of the youth and 'the establishment of social order. 7. The publication of the textbook for the sex education and the inservice training course of teachers are necessary for the sex education of school.

        저칼륨혈증 형태로 나타난 소세포 폐암에 의한이소성 부신피질자극호르몬 증후군 1예

        We report a case of a 73-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with ectopic ACTH syndrome caused by small cell lung cancer. We initially presumed that the patient was in a state of mineralocorticoid excess, because she had hypertension and hypokalemic alkalosis. This was however excluded because her plasma renin activity was not suppressed and her plasma aldosterone/plasma renin activity ratio was below 25. Moreover, her 24 hour urine free cortisol level was elevated and her serum cortisol levels after a low dose dexamethasone suppression test, were not suppressed. Furthermore, her basal plasma ACTH and serum cortisol levels increased and her serum cortisol level after a high dose dexamethasone suppression test was not suppressed. We performed studies to identify the source of ectopic ACTH syndrome and found a 3 cm-sized mass in the patient’s right lower lobe of her lung, which was eventually diagnosed as small cell lung cancer following a bronchoscopic biopsy. In conclusion, Cushing’s syndrome, and in particular ectopic ACTH syndrome, must be considered in the differential diagnosis of mineralocorticoid-induced hypertension. The excessive cortisol saturates the 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2 (11β-HSD2) activity, which in turn, inactivates the conversion of cortisol to cortisone in the renal tubules. Moreover, excessive cortisol causes binding to the mineralocorticoid receptors, causing mineralocorticoid hypertension, characterized by severe hypercortisolism. (J Kor Endocrine Soc 22:359~364, 2007) 이소성 ACTH 증후군은 원인 종양이 빠르게 진행하는 경우가 많아서 다른 쿠싱증후군과는 다르게 복부비만, 선상 선조 등의 특징적인 증상은 드물고, 원발성 알데스토론증과 같이 저칼륨혈증을 동반한 대사성 알칼리증과 고혈압 증상이 흔하다. 그러므로 고혈압과 저칼륨혈증 증상을 보이지만 다른 원인이 발견되지 않는 경우에는 원인 질환으로서 쿠싱증후군을 고려해야 하며, 특히 이소성 ACTH 증후군에 대한 확인이 필요하다. 저자들은 고혈압과 저칼륨혈증 및 대사성 알칼리증을 보였던 환자에서 원인 질환으로 소세포폐암에 의한 이소성 ACTH 증후군을 진단한 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

        동창천(운문댐 예정지)에서의 추 , 동계 어류상에 관하여

        동창천의 어류상을 조사한 결과 7과 18속 21종으로 나타났다. 이 가운데 한국고유종은 Squalidus gracilis majimae, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Cobitis longicorpus, Cobitis rotundicaudata, Niwaella multifasciata, Liobagrus mediadiposalis, Coreoperca herzi 그리고 Odontobutis platycephala로서 전체 채집종의 42.9%이었다. 전 지역에 걸쳐서 우점종은 Zacco temmincki(상대풍부도 ; 37.3%)와 Odontobutis platycephala(16.9%)로 나타났으며, 상대풍부도가 1% 이하인 희소종은 Pseudorasbora parva, Hemibarbus longirostris, Acheilognathus limbatus, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Cobitis rotundicaudata, Misgurnus mizolepis 그리고 Anguilla japonica로 나타났다. 납자루아과는 1종만 출현하여 아주 희소하였으며 미꾸리과는 5종이 출현하여 다양하게 나타났다. 조사지역 전체의 종다양성지수는 0.934, 균등성지수는 0.707, 우점도지수는 0.293으로서 안정되어 있었다. 조사유역은 수질이 오염되지 않은 깨끗한 하천의 어류상을 나타내는 곳이므로 수질오염 및 남획으로부터 어류를 보호하기 위해 어류보호구역으로 설정할 것을 제창한다. The ichthyofauna at the Dongchang Stream(a second tributary of the Naktong River) was surveyed from autumn to winter 1991. The fishes collected were 21 species, 18 genera belong to 7 families, and 9 species of them were found to be endemic species to Korea ; Squalidus gracilis majimae, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Cobitis longicorpus, Cobitis rotundicaudata, Niwaella multifasciata, Liobagrus mediadiposalis, Coreoperca herzi and Odontobutis platycephala. The dominat species were Zacco temmincki(37.3%)and Odontobutis platycephala(16.9%). and rare species were Pseudorasbora parva, Hemibarbus longirostris, Acheilognathus limbatus, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Cobitis rotundicaudata, Misgurnus mizolepis and Anguilla japonica. The indices of species diversity, eveness and dominant were 0.934, 0.707 and 0.293, respectively.
