양극성 장애의 우세삽화와 임상양상 간의 연관성 : 예비연구

Objective : This study was performed to fmd clinical implications ofdistinctive pattems in bipolar patients with predominance of depressive episodes or manic episodes and to find possibilities to predict predominant episodes in bipolar disorder. Methods : The recmitment period was between 2002 and 2004, among inpatients who had received psychiatric treatment for bipolar disorder. The data about the number and the polarity of the past episodes were collected through medical records, and Sub-jects were divided into depressive or manic episode predominant groups. The two groups were compared regarding Sociodemo-graphic and clinical variables. Results : 74 patients met the inclusion criteria during the study period. 21 subjects were classified as depressive episode Pre-dominant group (depressive episode group), and 53 subjects as manic episode predominant group (manic episode group). There were no differences in sociodemographic data, the number of total episodes and hypomanic episodes, and onset age. However, 90.5% (n=19) subjects of depressive episode group showed depressive episode as first episode, and 88.7% (n=47) of manicepisode group experienced manic episode as first episode (χ²=42.13, df=1, P<0.00l). Psychotic symptomswere significantly more prominent in the manic episode group (χ²=6.85, df=1, P=0.009), and the number ofsubjects who had suicide attempt experience was higher in the depressive episode group (χ²=7.39, df=1, P=0.007). In the comparison of highest GAF scores during the past year, significant difference was found between the two group (p=0.046), as the mean scores of depressive epi-sode group was 68.337±7.47 and manic episode groupwas 71.51±5.42. Conclusion : The results ofthis study show that there are differences in clinical features according to predominant episodes in bipolar disorder. The type of onset episode appears to be related to predominant episode in this study, and it would be a valid Pa-rameter with therapeutic implication in bipolar patients.

Electrical circuits with semiconductor are very weak against lightning surge. The surge protective devices for electronic circuit and AC power lines are becoming more widely used. To achieve effective method of surge protection, there are needs for correlation between lightning surge and indoor wire length or installation height of indoor wire. The aim of this present work is to investigate the propagation characteristics of lightning surge according to variation of wire length. As a consequence, the maximum voltage at the end of the open wire in proportion to length of indoor wire. Therefore this result may be raw data for establishment of surge protection system.

Hydrogenation of carbon dioxide by hydrogen was investigated on the basis of the product distribution of homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction in a fixed bed flow reactor. The main product of the both reaction was methane. The heterogeneous reaction using Pd(5wt%)Al□O□ catalyst was excellent, and produced methane of 82.03% yield at 800°C. However, the homogeneous reaction produced poor methane of 0.0046% yield at 800°C. XRD analysis showed that the active site of the catalyst was Pd(2 2 0) phase.

Carbon species deposited on noble metals(Rh(5), Pd(5)) supported metal oxide(La_(2)O_(3), Al_(2)O_(3)) catalyst in Carbon Dioxide Reforming(CDR) reaction were discussed based on the experimental observations in a fixed bed flow reactor at atmospheric condition and also on analysis results by SEM and FT-IR. The wisker type carbon was deposited on the Rh(5)/La_(2)O_(3) and Rh(5)/Ce(1)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst, but carbon nanotubes was produced on the Rh(5)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst. CDR reaction over Rh(5)/Al_(2)O_(3) and Pb(5)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst was suggested to be a method among the carbon nanotubes preparation method.

It could be found that recovery of unreacted naphthalene enabled us to reduce condensation time from 30 hrs to 15 hrs with increasing quality of product. The results of preliminary design for recovery process of unreacted naphthalene are the following: The reacto(I.D.:2m, Height:3.2m, Volume:10㎥)has the standard turbine agitator(D:0.8m, Interval of impellers:1.6m),and is blown with superheated steam(165℃, latm)at the flow rate of ??. The mortor of 18㎾ is needed when no steam is blown. The wet scrubber is rotary type with coolant capacity of 2930㎏ and volume of 5.73㎥. The filter press has the filter area of 9.31㎡. The air compressor of 215㎥/min at 1atm and 20℃ is needed.
Mg-Oxide에 담지된 알칼리 금속염 촉매상에서 메탄의 Oxidative Coupling 반응에 관한 연구

OCM(Oxidative Coupling of Methane) is discussed based on experimental observations in a fixed bed flow reactor at atmospheric condition and instrumental analyses such as FT-IR, SEM, etc. Among the alkali metal salts impregnated Mg-Oxide catalysts, the bialkali metal salts impregnated Mg-Oxide catalyst showed superior activity to monoalkali metal salts impregnated Mg-Oxide catalysts based on the C₂ yield. Activity order of alkali metal salts impregnated Mg-Oxide catalysts based on the C₂ yield was [LiCl+NaCl] 〉 LiCl 〉 NaCl 〉 KCl. This suggests bialkali metal salts to neutralize the acid site through the production of superbasicity due to synergic effect. Moreover, the production distribution of OCM over alkali metal salts impregnated Mg-Oxide catalysts shows that a competitive primary reaction of methane to C₂ or CO? has occured. Ethylene is proposed to secondary reaction of ethane.
PAN 슬러리의 유변학적 거동 및 PAN 슬러리 기포탑에서 슬러리 입자의 축방향 분산

Rheological parameters of PAN(polyasrylonitrile)-slurry such as shear modulus, relaxation time, structural factor, etc. have been determined. Axial concentration distribution and axial dispersion coefficient of slurry particles have been investigated in a PAN-slurry bubble column(0.10 m-ID x 1.53 m-height). Effects of gas velocity(0.03-0.11 m/s), apparent slurry viscosity ?? and concentration of slurry particles ?? on the axial concentration distribution and dispersion coefficient of slurry particles have been determined. Sedimentation-dispersion model has been employed to analyze the axial concentration distribution of slurry particles. The axial distribution of slurry particles became uniform with increases in gas velocity, apparent slurry viscosity and slurry particle concentration. The axial dispersion coefficient of slurry particles increased with increasing gas velocity, but it decreased with an increase in apparnet viscosity of slurry. By considering the relation between rheological properties and axial dispersion of slurry particles, we found the following correlation equation; ? ?
고농도 석탄-물 슬러리계의 유변적 성질에 미치는 계면 활성제의 영향

새로이 합성한 계면확성제와 대표적 분산용 계면활성제의 분산효과를 상호 비교해 보기 위하여 고농도 석탄-물 슬러리계에 대한 유변학ㅈ거 성질을 측정하였다. 0~$25^{\circ}C$ 온도 범위에서 얻어진 유동곡선으로부터 여러 가지 유동 파라미터를 구한 결과, PS가 상대적으로 structure factor, C2와 shear modulus, $\chi$2/$\alpha$2 값에 있어서 큰 감소를 보여 주엇으며 특히 shear modulus는 계면활성제의 종류에 따라 큰차이를 보여주었다. 이러한 현상을 PS가 다 가음이곤 고분자 전해질과 유사한 구조를 갖고있어서 석탄 입자에 흡착시 입자간 정전기적 반발과 입체장애를 초래하여 슬러리의 유동성을 향상시킨데 따른 결과로 해석된다.
