        지역문학의 탈식민성과 글로컬리즘 - 대전-충남 문학을 중심으로

          Otherness is central to regional literature. The Western culture dominates all cultural relations. Regional literature is no exemption to these relations, so it may be said that a regional literature shows the otherness of other. Korean literature, a third world literature, can be defined as the other of the Western culture, which places Korean literature as regional. This conception of "the otherness of other," however, implies a paradoxical alternative to overcome the otherness. The uniqueness a regional literature has becomes its own literary characteristic, which interchanges it with other regional literatures at home and abroad.<BR>  The minority peculiarity regional literature shows has a practical value to enrich the regional literature. Any regional literature is the minority one in that it deterritorializes the central, politically resists the central, and collectively embodies the identity of the national literature. To be a minority literature, a regional literature needs to seek its own nativeness and world view. Actual agents of a regional literature should keep in mind that the most regional is the most global.<BR>  The literature of the Daejeon-Chungnam region needs to aim at postcoloniality and gloculism. This intention leads the literary people of the region to do their practices in various ways: to develop the literary legacy of Baekje, to find the patterns of everyday life and geographical features corresponding to zones of life, to contrive cultural contents by using much information of Daejeon as a science city, to make full use of Hallyu to globalize the literature of the Daejeon-Chungnam region, and to train and educate younger literary men for the future.

        광복기 부산 지역 문학사회의 형성과 창작 기반

        This paper aims at studying the formation of Busan's regional literary society and the foundation for its creation by mainly focusing on the media of newspapers and magazines. Studying media is one of the most effective methods for shedding light on the literary society of Busan during the Liberation Period. By taking a closer look at characteristics of a specific medium and literary activities of writers in the medium, it was found that Busan's regional literature did not stay away from the mainstream Korean literature of the time, and literary society was realigned based on writers' course of action. First, the regional literature of Busan during the Liberation Period should be seen in a broader context of Gyeongnam literature. Many literary groups including the Joseon New Culture Association, the Busan Branch of Joseon Literary Alliance and the Samnam Literary Association were established, but there was no struggle between ideologies to seize hegemony of the literary circles. To pursue the predominating goal of building a new sovereign state and creating national literature, these groups were set up based on a specific ideology and continued to seek new approaches depending on constantly changing situation. A case in point is the Busan Branch of Joseon Literary Alliance, which was founded during the early Liberation Period and actively engaged in various activities, including the publication of its official paper, but it was restructured into a right wing literature due to the changing times and circumstances. Second, one of the most notable characteristics of Busan's regional literature during this period is that the regional literature in Busan could obtain its future growth engine from outstanding activities by migrated writers, the exchange of a lineup of the writers based on their hometowns and horizontal alliance among small areas. This can be ascertained by checking the list of writers and their characteristics in such newspapers as 「Minju Jungbo」,「Busan Ilbo」, 「Busan Sinmun」, 「Jayu Minbo」 and 「Saneop Sinmun (Industrial Newspaper)」. Taking a glance at the media publication during the early Liberation Period shows us a pronounced ideological divide among newspapers. While 「Minju Jungbo」, 「Inmin Haebangbo (People's Liberation Newspaper)」 and 「Munye Sinmun (Literary Newspaeper)」 were left-leaning newspapers, 「Busan Ilbo」, 「Busan Sinmun」, 「Jayu Minbo」 and 「Saneop Sinmun」 tilted toward the right. It is difficult, however, to research the overall activities and trend of left-wing writers during the early Liberation Period due to the lack of substantial evidence of 「Inmin Haebangbo」 and 「Munye Sinmun」. Third, the regional literature of Busan during the Liberation Period was comprised of various generations, with active contributions from Song, Yeong-taek, Kim Wol, Yun Jae-won and many other students and the emergence of young writers including Yim, Ha-su, Jang Ho, Lee, Seok-in and Jeong, Yeong-tae. Based on the vertical alliance with the established writers, the horizontal alliance with regional young writers and the publication of media, they became the key players in Busan's regional literary scene. It can be said that contributions from student writers and young writers served as an important catalyst for the formation of an independent literary society in Busan. They were incorporated into the established literary circles, one after another, after the Korean War Period, while solidifying their positions in the regional literary society. As part of Gyeongnam Literature, the regional literature in Busan during the Liberation Period produced a lot of literary works thanks to newspaper media and diversified the lineup of its writers. As the realignment of the literary circles during the Korean War Period gave rise to the war refugee literature, Busan's regional literature began to build its own literary society. 이 글은 광복기 지역 문학사회의 형성과 창작 기반을 신문 잡지 매체를 중심으로 실증적으로 고찰하는 데 목적을 두었다. 매체 연구는 문학사회의 형성과 전개 양상을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있는 방법 가운데 하나다. 매체 활동을 통해 알 수 있는바, 광복기 부산 지역은 문학인들의 진퇴와 맞물려 새로운 문학사회가 형성되었다. 광복기 부산 지역문학은 전반적으로 경남문학이라는 큰 틀에서 규정할 수 있었다. 광복 직후 지역 안쪽에서 조선신문화건설회, 조선문학동맹 부산지부, 삼남문학회 등 각종 문화단체가 결성되었으나, 문단 헤게모니를 장악하기 위한 좌우파의 극렬한 이념 투쟁은 찾아볼 수 없었다. 새로운 국가와 민족문학의 건설이라는 당면과제를 실천해 나가는 과정에서 이념 노선에 따라 단체를 조직하고 정세에 따라 새로운 모색을 거듭했던 것으로 보인다. 특히, 광복 초기 조선문학동맹 부산지부가 결성되어 기관지를 발행하는 등 활발하게 활동했으나, 시대 상황에 따라 우파문단으로 재편되고 말았다. 이는 부산 지역의 독자적인 성격이라기보다는 한국문단의 전체의 일반적인 성격이라 볼 수 있을 것이다. 광복기 부산 지역문학은 유입문인의 두드러진 활동과 지역 연고에 바탕을 둔 필진의 교환, 소지역 사이의 수평적 연대, 학생 투고문단의 활성화와 청년문사들의 등장을 통해 지역문학 장(場)이 형성되었으며, 독자적인 문학사회를 형성하는 주요한 동력을 확보할 수 있었다. 지역문학의 세대 구성이 한결 두터워졌던 시기가 바로 광복기였다.

        지역문학 연구 ; 지역 문학 진흥 방안 -광주,전남 지역을 중심으로

        A development of a regional art is the mental foundation to develop whatever country is. In fact, there is no country all over the world like Korea which concentrates a field of culture and art on the capital city, so-called `center.` So, calling outer place of the capital city to `region,` cultural artists is divided, and also the province of their activity is reduced. On this situation, the cultural artists in region are treated contemptuously. Especially in case of literature field, it is more despised and withering than other art field in even `region.` Many regional literary people cry for `a promotion of a regional literature,` but the situation doesn`t seem like to be better. The beginning to be expressed a deep concern about a regional literature was from the `Race and Region` first published in 1988. Of course it had been a discussion for activating a regional literature, but the literary person participated in making `Race and Region` wanted to break down a contradiction between race and region, center and region, establishment and antiestablishment, and perpendicularity and horizon. At this point, their role is very significant. After that, `The Association of a Regional Literary People` held its inaugural meeting in 2002. At that day, literary person gathering from the whole nation agreed to prevent the centralization of power from the central literary association and to revive the variety and self-control of literature. Then they have developed to hold a seminar many times and to do their literary work. Therefore this study has its purpose in, first, figuring out what is the problem with Korean Literary Society, and then considering a device to solve the problem which the literature inn Gwang-ju and Jeon-nann province has. The result is as followings; First, this study finds out the actual circumstance that a regional literature has structurally and systematically been more isolated and disparaged than that of Seoul since 1930s`. Hyun, Dong-yeom released his work to `Chosen literary Association` second edition on 1935. This study finds out the vice of an intention for Seoul while many literary person was isolated from Mr. Hy un s work to today. This study also shows that these vice is today`s problem in an inner power of Korean Literary Association and at the same time, this is the reality that a regional literary association is undertaken. Later, we need to figure out the structural and systematical contradiction of Korean literary Association which connects with a regional literature directly and indirectly. Without regional literary person`s self-reflection to break contradictions like the emergence of literary groups from the central subordination, new person`s appearance, poetry publishment, systematical contradiction for a literary award, literary power, literature-language adhesion, low-graded division, authority consciousness, and the adherence of a vested rights, we could not escape the so-called the crisis of a literature.` Second, the modern literature in Gwang-ju and Jeon-nam had been started in 1920s` by Km, Woo-jin(dranna), Park, Hwa-seong(novel), Kin, Jin-seop(essay), Cho, Jeong-hyun(juvenile literature), Kim, Tae-oh(juvenile literature), and Cho, Jong-hyun(shijo). In 1930s`, many names got fame like Park, Yong-chul, Kim, Young-ryang, Lee, Dong-ju, Cha, Bum-seok, Kim, Ji-ha, Kim, Hyun, and Choi, Ha-rim. At present, the association of Gwang-ju and Jeon-nam have divided into two parts from 1987 according that Gwang-ju was separated as a megalopolis by the reorganization of government setups on Nov. 11, 1986. As stated above, the literature in Gwang-ju and Jeon-nam has led the Korean literature since 1920s`, but there is no literary museum which contains the achievement. At last `Park, Hwa-sung`s Literary Hall` and `Cho, Tae-il`s Literary Hall` is in Gwang-ju and Jeon-nam, `Kim, Nam-ju`s Literary Hall` will be made.         This thesis discusses a direction of the regional literature research with three diffrerent area that are space, time, and metod. It was written considering possibility for solidarity with other researchers in Kyoungbook-Daegu area. First, from the setting-up of regional units, space in the regional literature research is violated by regional understanding and regional literature and writers. It would be appropriate that the reigional units be set with a current national union area, a national area, a large area, a medium area, and a small area. The regional understanding should be opening, centering its territorial society. Next, time of the regional literature research is the modern age. This fact brings three problems that are its starting point and inner distribution of the modern age, its scope of research, and value assessment. The modern age has passed through dual time, national time and regional time, which should be considered in discussion of the starting point and time distribution. The regional leterature would be taken a look, based on the important literary nodes. The scope of the research includes the premodern and modern literature. The regional characteristics result from its organizing ability built up by the regional community for a long period. The value assessment should be processed on the principle for the regional gains. Lastly, the regional literature research is the alternative and counter study toward the existing methods for the literature research. There are three methods to be emphasized, that is, to investigate primary texts and its characteristics, to comprehend the subordinate discourse over the boundary of the existing literary branches, and to produce the discourse that would bring the benefits to the society according to the consumers` demands. The regional literature research clearly presents the significance of the research that is reflecting and forming the region. Now, due to the regional literature, the researchers in Kyoungbook-Daegu and Kyoungnam-Busan area became worried about national universality and regional indivisuality at the same time.

        <P>&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the characteristic in Gangwon-Yeongdong regional literature. Regional literature tries to show modernity and regional characteristics. Fair value assessment of the regional literature can help rectify the unfair cultural structure and is a way to develop Korean literature itself. This paper focus on the characteristics in regional literature, paying special attention to poetic works which are considered as post-colonial literature. There are two facets in regional literature; One is alienation from mainstream literature, the other is possibility of minority literature. This thesis tries to apply the modernity in broad sense to its literary works based on the efforts to examine regional characteristics.</P><P>&nbsp;&nbsp;The literary world which emphasizes the universal lyricism is occupying a conspicuous position in Korean regional literature such as the trend of reflecting the regional traits. Efforts are needed to be made to revitalize regional literature through various means. For this, efforts as well as a scholarly critical-minded approach to the regional writers are essential. Moreover, locality, or ecological․coal mine․maritime literature in Gangwon-Yeongdong regional literature, can be the strategic objective to which the literature should pay attention in modern times. The problem of regional literature and portraying such regional life is one of the alternative, strategic categories that help overcome today’ Korean literary landscape.</P>

        지역문학 연구의 현황과 과제 (2) - 제주, 전남ㆍ광주, 부산ㆍ경남을 중심으로

          The preliminary target of this study were writings about the regional literature which have been discussed and work about the regional literature which were treated in each region. Through these targets the study focused on how the discussion of regional literature reveals the identity of each region. The most critical theme of theory of regional literature is the realization of regionality and its specification<BR>  For each region, though its studies is being progressed, there are not so many regional literature study which utilized the method of regional literature study thoroughly based on the distinctiveness of its own region. However, with regional literature study of Jeju and PusanㆍKyungnam we can find the possibility of more regional specific literature study.<BR>  Until now, however, there is not the result of regional literature study which can be the model of regional literature study. For the future regional literature study, there is yet more room for the discussion about the regional identification and on its basis, the distinctiveness of regional literature should be approached.

        지역문학 연구에 나타나는 탈근대성의 양상

        본 논문은 제주지역과 광주지역 그리고 대구․경북지역 문학 연구에 나타나는 현상을 탈근대성의 입장에서 살펴본 것이다. 제주와 광주 지역 문학연구에서는 그 지역이 지닌 4․3과 5․18이라는 역사적 특수성에 바탕한 지역 정체성을 문학 연구의 방향성으로 보여주었고, 대구․경북지역은 선비정신 나아가 유교라는 지역의 전통적인 사유방식을 지역의 정체성으로 삼아 논의가 진행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 각 지역마다의 정체성에 기반을 둔 문학 연구가 지역문학 연구에 있어서 기본 방향이란 점에서 지역정체성의 문제가 결국 중요한 화두가 될 수밖에 없다. 이러한 지역문학 연구에서 나타나는 지역 정체성의 추구가 탈근대성으로 해석될 수 있는 이유는 다음과 같다. 첫째는 지역이 지닌 특수성의 추구를 통해 보편성을 해체시킨다는 점에 서 탈근대적인 양상을 찾아볼 수 있다. 이 지역적 특수성은 기존 연구에서 나타나는 보편적인 가치체계를 허물 수 있는 토대를 제공한다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 이러한 지역적 특수성의 인식은 하나의 중심을 전제한 보편적 세계인식을 해체한다는 점에서 탈근대적이라 할 수 있다. 둘째는 앞선 논의에서 나타난 지역의 특수성에 기초한 결과로서 나타나는 현상이다. 즉 각 지역마다의 특수성을 다 인정함으로써 유일성보다는 다양성을 추구한다는 점에서 탈근대적인 모습을 지닌다고 본다. 근대성이 유일성을 추구해왔다면, 탈근대성은 다원성을 추구하는 경향을 지닌다. 이런 측면에서 지역문학 연구에서 나타나는 특성의 하나는 각 지역마다의 주체성을 인정하고, 이를 토대로 유일성을 초극하는 다양한 지역문학의 체계를 세워간다는 점에서 탈근대적인 성향을 지니고 있다고 할 수 있다. I have researched the phenomenon found in the literature study of Jeju, Gwang Ju, and Dae-gu, Kyung-buk region in the aspect of postmodernism. In the study of Jeju and Gwang-ju region, it showed the regional identity as the direction of literature study based on the historical characteristic which the region possesses. In the study of Dae-gu, Kyung-buk region, it was revealed that the study was based on the spirit of scholar, also Confucianism, which is the regional traditional method of reasoning as the regional identity. In that the basic direction for regional literature study is based on the regional identity, it is the problem of regional identity that must be the topic of the discussion. In fact, there are various topics dealt in the regional literature study. Various aspects like the regional writer, work, and background can be discussed. The topic, however, should be dealt ultimately in the regional literature study is the regional identity, which can be found in the work deals with the region. Still, the regional identity cannot be easily defined. The regional identity of one region is not unchangeable but formulated changing at the same time. The regional identity comes from the characteristic of the region. The region is consists of three components; the space which consists of physical background, the human as the subject of life, and the society as the human group. Therefore, it is the concept which is constructed as the result of reasoning of human being, accumulated and mingled of various layer of human lives. The region itself, is a cognitive being, which exists as conceptual structure rather than exists objectively as real being. That is, it has the characteristic of imaginative community which is constructed in imagination by regional members' classification. It means that the regionalism should be understood not by simple geographical or structural aspects but relational and contextual aspects. The issue is that as the recognition of these regions are discussed newly, there are various investigation works being realized for creating the regional image. Especially for the researchers of regional literature, the investigation of the regional identity is the nature of the study and also the critical issue as the ultimate destination. The part which should be realized in the study of the regional literature study should find the characteristic of that region, which is, the regional identity and be given the consequence and be systematized in the work. Then it is need to explain about in what aspects the pursue of regional identity has the characteristic of Postmodernism. First, it is Post -modern in point that it is to deconstruct the universality through the pursue of the particularity of the region. Until now, the main current of Korea literature study was limited to the writer or works which consist of center in the history of literature. The writer, the object of literature study was the people who were at the center of history of Korean literature. However, owing to the study of regional literature, the established frame of literature study is being demolished as the regional writers, who were not evaluated properly, are newly evaluated and discussed. Also the writer who were evaluated in the history of Korean literature as well as the regional writer are being newly evaluated. In the basis of the evaluation, the particularity of the writers is considered. The regional particularity has the importance in the aspect that is provides the foundation for demolishing the universal system of value. The recognition of the regional particularity is post-modern in aspect that it deconstruct the general recognition of world.         정전체제의 형성과 부산 지역 문학사회의 동향

        The signing of the Armistice Agreement and the returning of the national capital to Seoul resulted in a dramatic change in the status and characteristics of the provisional capital of Busan, which once served as a center of producing wat-time cultural discourse. This study aims at conducting an empirical research on the reorganization of regional literary circles newly established following the formation of the Armistice Regime in July 1953 and media environment, geographical changes and organizational composition of Busan’s regional literature and the problems of the regional literature of the time and its reform solutions. First, in the midst of the Korean War, the literary circles in Busan could find a growth engine for the regional literature based on Seoul’s literary system and assets, but upon the introduction of the Armistice Regime, it was faced with a paradoxical situation in which it had to put the glories and wounds of the refugee literary circles away in order while setting a new course for its own regional literature. In particular, the changes in the publishing environment after the returning of the national capital reorganized the media, through which literary works were produced and disseminated, created a quite different environment for literary creation from the war-time period. After most of the newspaper and magazine publishers moved to Seoul, 『Kukje Shinbo』, 『Busan Ilbo』, 『Minju Shinbo』, 『Jayu Minbo』, 『Gyeongnam Gongnon』 and 『Sinsaeing Gongnon』 still provided local writers with space on their papers, while established writers and young writers continued to follow the tradition of media publication used during the war. Nevertheless, it is an undeniable fact that the reorganized publishing media environment was a critical factor weakening the driving force to develop the regional literature. Second, the Armistice Agreement and the returning of the capital not only reorganized the media environment but dramatically changed the status and characteristics of the provisional capital of Busan which served as a base for anti-communist front and a foothold for the decisive war literature. The Save the Nation Federation, the Anti-communist Freedom Artists Association and other troop information and education organizations set up in Busan during the war began to dissolve or were forced to move to Seoul with the government, and the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organization of Korea followed the same course. The reshuffle of the literary circles that caused changes in literary system and publishing environment led the regional literature in Busan to indulge in the “rhetoric of blankness.” As a result, the literary circles in Busan after the capital moved back to Seoul, without any pivotal organization, just irregularly organized study clubs activities, book publication parties, illustrated poems exhibitions or poem reading events. It was only January 1956 when the realigned Busan Writers Association, which succeeded the Busan Culture Club founded in February 1955 to strongly drive the regional cultural campaign, began its activities in earnest. Third, since the Armistice Regime had been put in place, discussions on the regional literature in Busan began to gain momentum and round-table talks to seek a new way for regional literature increased, which was the result of the changes in literary system and media environment in the wake of the Armistice Regime. It is obvious that the writers at the time realized that Busan’s regional literature was in crisis. They suggested, therefore, that they should focus on the region, not just on the rhetoric of blankness. Various approaches to further develop the regional literature in Busan and move away from the Seoul-centric mindset were explored, including the issues of facilitating the culture section in the local media, promoting the literary circles and nurturing the future literary generation and the efforts to define the concept ...

        중국의 경제개혁과 ‘區域文化ㆍ區域文學’論

        중국의 경제발전은 중앙과 지방의 분권 및 상호협력의 과정이기도 하다. 현재 중국의 경제발전은 ‘경제구역’을 중심으로 진행되고 있으며, 경제발전에 따른 각 구역의 문화ㆍ문학을 일컬어 구역문화ㆍ구역문학이라는 새로운 용어로 표현하려는 시도가 제기되었다. 그 근거는 경제발전의 실질적 주체인 각 지방의 입장에서 지역경제의 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 경제발전에 어울리는 지방문화가 동시에 발전해야 한다는 점이었다. 이를 위해서는 과거 중앙정부에 대한 종속성에서 탈피하여 환경적, 역사적, 문화적 측면에서도 동질감을 가질 수 있는 지방문화가 절실히 필요하였다. 이와 더불어 세계적으로 전지구와의 추세가 확산, 심화됨에 따라 미국 등 문화적 중심 국가들로부터의 문화지배의 위협 또한 증가되었다. ‘구역문화ㆍ구역문학’이란 개념은 이와 같이 국내외적 원인으로부터 제출된 것이다. 동시에 중국의 경제개혁의 성과 및 과제를 반영하고, 전환기에 처한 중국의 현실과 문화ㆍ문학을 조망하려는 새로운 시각이기도 하다. 이와 같은 시도는 과거 혁명시대의 문예관이 정치이념에 종속적이었던 한계를 극복한 후, 개혁개방기 중국의 새로운 문화현상에 대한 체계적인 분석틀이 부재한 상황에서 출현한 것으로서 문화적 현상에 대해 경제적 시각을 결합하고자 하는 매우 참신한 접근방법이라 하겠다. Economic development of China is a process of decentralization and cooperation between central government & region, too. Presently it is progressing with economic regions of China. As the result, they have advanced an opinion to explain the new aspects of culture & literature, and it's named Regional culture, Regional literature. Because they needed a growth of Regional culture, Regional literature to support an economic development of the region. With the spread of globalization, on the other hand, they worried about the control of American culture. An idea of Regional culture, Regional literature are presented with these domestic and foreign causes. Simultaneously it is an opinion that reflected the results and problems of China’s economic revolution, and took a view of the reality of mordern China’s Literature at the turning point. This attempt appears in 1990's era, not existing a proper theory to explain Chinese literature after Reform and openess period, and it is a new idea that intended to join economy to literature

        문학좌담회로 읽는 광주전남 지역문학

        This study is to bring out regional identity, literary status, and to suggest literary prospect through the round-table talks for the regional literature held in Gwangju-Chonnam. The literary talks make it possible to inspect some internal considerable thoughts, and to grasp some differences to the central literature, in addition literary directions after that talks. The talks, in some respects, as a domain of official dialogue and exchange of information was very political, so it had concerned historical directions of regional literature. Now, let’s try to summarize as below. Firstly, the literature of Gwangju-Chonnam was in a condition which is historically confused, but the talks tried to produce some discussions of identification with positive intentions. Particularly literary movements of the Chonnam branch of National Association of Cultural Organizations-National Salvation Unit were remarkably constructive during Korean war period,even if they could hardly be free from ideology. However there were very internal considerable thoughts and trans-historical tracks of the literati. Their literary directions not only coincided with pure literature’s but also ideological. It really had a big impact on literary history of Gwangju-Chonnam. Secondly, the talks with some central literati was likely to be bureaucratic acting for disseminating their central mechanism or literary discourse,which was to transit regional literature. Central literati who were in attendance at the talks had literary power centralized on Modern Literature 『現代文學』, and new literati were inevitably under the shadow of the former union. Such being the case, the invisible infiltration of literary cliques into regional literature had led to subordinate it upon central literature. Resultingly, the round-table talks of literary magazines and newspapers in Gwangju-Chonnam showed the own formational process of regional literature and the very actual status after liberation of colonial system, which 문학좌담회로 읽는 광주전남 지역문학 321lied in both political and literary power. Henceforth, these facts will raise up not only the need for solicitous researches on writing of the history of regional literature in Gwangju-Chonnam inclusive of other regions, but also that of modern literature. 본 논문은 문학좌담회를 통해서 지역문단의 내부적인 고민을 점검하고, 중앙문단과 지역문단의 차이와 문학좌담회 이후 광주전남 지역문학은 어떤 행보를 하였는지를 밝혔다. 문학좌담회는 문학을 매개로 한 공식적인 대화와 정보 교환의장으로 일면 대단히 정치적이었다. 이러한 측면에서 1950년대 광주전남 지역문학의 자리 또한 역사적인 행보와 함께 하고 있는데 이를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫 번째로 살핀 광주전남 지역문인들만의 좌담회를 통해서 광주전남 지역의문학은 역사적으로 혼란기였으나, 지역의 문학을 주제로 머리를 맞대고 동일화 담론을 생산해내고 있다는 사실을 확인하였다. 특히 한국전쟁기에는 문총구국대 전남지부의 활동에 적극적이었으며 문학담론 또한 이데올로기 안에서 자유롭지 못한 행태를 보여주었다. 이들이 생산한 담론이 중앙문단에 대한 추수적이고 다분히정치적인 의도와 목적을 가진 성격의 좌담회이기는 했지만 시대를 감당하는 문인들의 내적인 고민과 크게는 현대문학사의 변곡점을 넘는 문인들의 행보를 탐색할수 있었다. 이들의 문학적 행보, 즉 순문학을 전면에 내세우기는 했지만 이데올로기적인 행보였고, 이는 광주전남 지역문학사에 미친 영향이 사뭇 지대했다. 두 번째 살핀 중앙문인들과 지역문인들의 좌담회는 메커니즘을 확산시키기위한 절차적 행위일 가능성이 짙다는 것을 확인하였다. 이들의 문학담론은 중앙문학의 지역문학화에 역점을 둔 담론이었다. 중앙문인들로 참석한 이들이 문단권력을 쥐고 있었고, 신예문인들 또한 그들의 자장 안에 있었다는 점은 『현대문학』중심의 문단권력의 과시용이었다. 문단의 파벌이 비가시적인 형태로 침투할수 있었던 것도 지역문학이 중앙문학 추수적인 경향을 띠게 된 것도 이와 무관하지 않다. 결론적으로 광주전남의 문예지와 신문사의 문학좌담회는 해방이후 광주전남의 지역문학 형성과정과 정치와 문단권력 안의 광주전남 지역문학이 놓인 자리였다. 이는 광주전남 지역문학뿐만 아니라 타 지역의 문학, 또 현대문학사 기술에있어서 좀 더 세심한 연구의 필요성을 제기한다.
