        The impacts of the green growth policy on green living of residents in multifamily housing

        To ameliorate a long-standing, persistent housing shortage in Korea, large-scale massive housing production has been an imperative, and the extensive growth highly values development and consumption. The state’s priority for the quantitative growth of housing stock has proved to be successful, but the state faces with economic and environmental crises in a global era. To achieve the qualitative growth, the previous administration pronounced a green growth policy from the inception, and a series of strategic measures under a holistic plan have been taken widely and vigorously. As part of the strategies, the green home project was undertaken, and simultaneously the movement of green living led by the governance has been activated. However, little attention to the grassroots effort was paid and the efficacy hasn’t been adequately addressed. This study examines the factors affecting green living of residents in multifamily housing. Based on public guidelines to green living, 106 specific items were drawn out and largely categorized into 6 areas (water, waste, transportation, air quality, consumption, and energy), and the questionnaire was constructed using them. Of 750 survey forms mailed out, 161 responses were returned and the collected data were used for statistical analysis. The findings indicated that varying degrees of green living was well practiced, the state-led green home project was relatively well recognized, and the green growth policy was strongly supported. Also the respondents’ attitude toward green living were more associated with demographic variables than housing characteristics, and familiarity with green home project was related to attitudes toward green living. Since the on-going approach to green living has focused on simple and economical ways, it has proved to be effective but progressive strategies to make living greener are necessarily developed.

        엑셀 스프레드시트를 활용한 온실가스 정보시스템 구축

        Climate change is the biggest environmental issue of our times. A variety of activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have been in progress to observe the Kyoto Protocol. Especially, the Energy Target Scheme is created to reduce greenhouse emission with the supervision of Korean government. This includes Green-house Gas Information Systems to promote activities in the private sector to reduce green-house gas emissions, to cut a cost of energy use, and to reduce GHG emissions. Also, the system has calculated the amount of greenhouse gases. Without any additional investment, 2.75% savings are increased over the previous year. In service sector, a cooperation of customers and employees is necessary. A reduction of GHG emissions requires a proper service organization, considering an amount of investment and payback period. Without any additional investment or replacement, employees can save energy easily turning off ventilation systems an hour before employees’ departure, installing timers to turn off water purifiers and vending machines after some period of no use. The Green-house Gas Information System is similar to that of Environmental Management System. However, the Excel is the best program to calculate an amount of green-house gas emissions, and to assess for a reduced amount of GHG emissions. A goal of this research is to propose a practical method in the private sector to calculate an amount of green-house gases. The Green-house gas Information System based on Excel spreadsheet gives standards for good evaluation. The greenhouse gas information system establishes and executes the policies and objectives related to greenhouse gas emissions Similar to ISO 14001 environment management system structures, the advantages of using simplified Excel Sheet for calculating GHG emissions and reducing GHG emissions are easy to access.

        시설 하우스 토양에서 녹비작물 재배가 Biomass-C와 양분변화에 미치는 영향

        시설재배지 토양에 녹비작물의 재배가 Biomass-C와 토양 양분의 변화에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 pot(${\phi}$10-cm)에 헤어리벳치, 호밀, 발랭이를 70일간 재배 후 식물체와 토양을 분리하여 분석한 결과가 다음과 같다. 녹비작물의 생육량은 호밀이 가장 많았으며, 질수흡수량은 헤어리벳치가 가장 높게 나타났다. 호밀 재배구가 토양의 인산함량은 가장 낮았으며, biomass C는 가장 높게 나타났다. 시험 후 토양의 질소함량과 식물체 질소 흡수량은 고도의 부의 상관을 보였다. T-N 함량은 헤어리벳치 시험구에서는 증가하였지만, 호밀과 바랭이 재배구에서는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이상의 결과를 요약해볼 때 시설재배지에서 가장 중요한 것이 토양의 염류집적(EC) 인데 시험 후 토양에서 대조구에 비해서 콩과인 헤어리벳치는 EC가 약간 증가했고 다른 무기성분은 큰 변화가 없으며, 화본과인 호밀은 EC와 다른 무기성분도 약간 감소하는 경향으로 시설연작재배지에서는 화본과 작물이 염류집적 경감을 위해서 유리하다. This experiment was done to evaluate the effects of green manure cropping in green house soil on the changes of soil nutrients and soil microorganisms. The biomass of green manure crop was the highest in ryegrass and nitrogen absorption was the highest in hairy vetch. After cropping, soil phosphate content was the lowest in ryegrass, however, biomass C was the highest of all the green manures. Nitrogen uptake of plant and nitrogen content of the soil after the experiment showed a negative correlation. Total N content of soil was increased in hairy vetch plot, but decreasing tendency showed in the ryegrass and common crabgrass plots. In this results are summarized that green manure cropping greatly reduced salt accumulation in green house.

        연료전지가 적용된 단독주택의 친환경성 평가 사례 연구

        G-SEED는 건물의 친환경성을 평가하는 그린빌딩인증제도이다. G-SEED 인증의 2022년 연차보고서에 따르면, 2022년부터 2022년 사이에 녹색건축인증(G-SEED)을 취득한 건축물은 8,218건이고, 예비인증은 12,701건이다. 이중 단독주택은 2건으로 활성화가 필요하다. 또한 탄소중립, 수소경제 육성 등을 위해 수소 시범도시가 추진되고 있다. 본 연구는 단독주택에 대한 녹색건축인증(G-SEED)의 활성화를 위한 참고가 될 수 있는 사례와 주택에서의 연료전지 시스템의 적용에 대한 사례를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 향후 수소도시의 건설 등에 있어 주택에서 수소 및 연료전지를 활용하도록 하는 정책입안자와 설계자들에게 기술적 참고자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 단독주택은 9세대로 구성된 타운하우스형 주택단지 중 수소 연료전지가 설치된 한 하나의 단독주택을 대상으로 하였다. 주택의 주 에너지원은 1kW PEM 수소 연료전지와 태양광 시스템을 적용하고 기존 에너지원(계통 전력, 취사용 도시가스, 지역난방)을 보조열원으로 활용하게 되는 수소기반 복합에너지 연계형 단독주택을 수소주택으로 정의하고 이 주택을 실증하였다. G-SEED 인증의 결과, 총 점수 66.89로 우수등급(그린2등급)을 획득하였다. 패시브하우스 수준의 외피 단열과 태양광 및 수소 연료전지를 적용한 수소주택의 특성이 반영되어 에너지 및 환경오염 분야에서 높은 배점(23.33점)을 획득하였다. 이 실증 프로젝트를 통해 수소주택의 개념과 설계 내용을 제안하였고, 친환경 평가를 통해 수소주택의 특징을 분석하였다. This study introduces the reference case for enhancing G-SEED for detached houses and explores the application of fuel cell systems inhouses. The study aims to offer technical data to inform future policy decisions and building design choices in hydrogen-based cities. Thefocus of this study is a single detached house within a townhouse-style housing complex equipped with a 1kW PEM hydrogen fuel cell anda photovoltaic system as the main energy source. It also utilizes electricity from the power grid and natural gas as secondary energy sources. This house, referred to as the hydrogen house, was constructed as a demonstration building. The hydrogen house achieved an outstandingG-SEED rating of Green 2, with a total score of 66.89 points, highlighting its eco-friendliness. It particularly excelled in the energy andenvironmental pollution category, scoring 23.33 points due to the distinctive characteristics of the hydrogen house. The concept and designdetails of the hydrogen house are presented, and its features are analyzed within the framework of G-SEED certification.

        주택 미분양율에서 본 도시형 생활주택 제도의 개선방안에 관한 연구: - 제주특별자치도를 중심으로 -

        1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to draw the problems of urban-type residential housing and to suggest improvements, by analyzing the unsold rate of housing supplied to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study examined the problems of urban-type residential housing and suggested improvements the ways to improve by looking into the changes in the supply and unsold rate of housing supplied from Jeju-do as of March 2018, and mainly analyzed the unsold rate of urban-type residential housing among the houses supplied from January 2016 to September 2017. The results of this study are as follows. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS During the analysis period, 2,924 residential houses were sold(45.1%) and 2,365 apartments(42.5%) were sold. The number of households unsold in six months was 579(50.8%) and the number of apartments was 433(38.0%). The unsold rate was the highest at 90.9% for detached house, followed by 19.8% and 18.3% for urban-type residential housing and apartment, respectively. Urban-type residential housing showed high unsold rate in natural green areas in all types of housing. The unsold rate of urban-type studios was 30.7% and 26.2% in green areas and commercial areas, respectively. The unsold rate of urban-type tenement houses was 31.4% and 29.8% in green areas and residential areas. And the unsold rate of urban-type multi-household houses was 50.0%. 2. RESULTS According to the results of this study, the unsold rate of urban-type residential housing is high, and 10 out of the 27 urban-type residential housing complexes(637 households) were supplied to natural green areas and located on the edge of town, which can incur social costs including infrastructures. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to make determine the allowable use of urban-type residential housing in accordance with the local government conditions through the revision of 「Housing Act」and an ordinance of local governments. It also needs to limit the supply of urban-type residential housing in natural green areas by amending the ‘Restrictions on the use, type and size of buildings in special-purpose area’.

      • 친환경 생활 실천 정도에 따른 친환경 주거 인식과 선호도에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception and preference on environmental-friendly housing based on green life practice of 20s and 30s. Findings from relevance from perception and preference of environmental-friendly housing and green life practice will be a useful basic data for the later development of the environmental-friendly housing. The method of this research was used by questionnaires. The effective numbers of survey questionnaire was 139, and the survey analysis has been made by using IBM SPSS Statistics 18. The major findings of this study were that : First, overall green life practice was generally well practiced realizing green life practice has become part of daily life. However less than ten percent was aware of both concept of environmental-friendly housing and detailed information. Second, items from the foreign Green Building Certification System is considered to be adequate to Korean Green Building Certification System since they got high preference score. Third, there was a difference of the awareness of environmental-friendly housing by type of housing. Single-family house residents were more aware of environmental-friendly house than multi-family house residents. However, multi-family house residents practiced green life more than single family residents.

        소형주택의 친환경건축물 인증기준 개발 방안 연구

        The purpose of this study is to develop the Green Building Certification System of detached houses for integrating category in terms of Green Building Use. Today, the building is 22% of the national energy consumption(based on 2008) and energy consumption of detached houses captures 41% among the residential buildings. Recently, The Green Building Certification System does not provide as a green building category, even 46% of residential are detached houses. Therefore, The Green Building Certification System for detached houses is necessary to develop proper evaluation method for the consideration of detached house character and certification process. The first process is an comparison and an analysis of international and domestic Green Building Certification Systems to select application use and classification. Second process is an analysis of connectivity and compatibility for the detached houses from current Green Building Certification System for domestic multi-houses. Third process is a selection of application object for detached houses to determine the definition and application of detached houses in accordance with Building Law. Last process draws detail evaluation criteria and method to propose the evaluation article and criteria For the conclusion of all processes, AHP survey implements in terms of classification and simulation analysis to development of The Green Building Certification System for detached houses for new category.
