      • 시금치에서 분리한 광계 2 복합체의 불활성화와 재활성화에 대한 연구

        Inactivation and reactivation of photosynthetic oxygen evolving complex were studied with isolated spinach (Spinacia oleraceda. L.) photosystem Ⅱ particles by the activity of oxygen evolution and chlorophyll fluorescence. When the particles were treated with Tris and urea, the oxygen evolution was inactivated and three polypeptides having molecular weights of 33 kDa, 24 kDa and 18 kDa were simultaneously released. But in NaCl-treated particles, two polypeptides of 24 kDa and 18 kDa were removed from PS Ⅱ particles. The oxygen evolution activities of Tris and urea-treated particles were not restored by adding cation ions (Mg^2+, Mn^2+ and Ca^2+), but the NaCl-treated particles were restored by exogenously added Ca^2+. The removal of these extrinsic polypeptides, especially 33 kDa, markedly showed the decrease of the variable fluorescence (Fv). These results are likely to be due to dissipate thermal energy by antenna of photosystem Ⅱ complexes.

        성육신 신앙의 몸 현상학·몸 신학적 이해

        This paper attempts to look for embodied phenomenoiogicai-theological understanding of Christian faith of incarnation as an alternative to our contemporary global crisis. It first examines the global crisis of the Korean Peninsula. This paper gains ecological insights from Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception, such as embodied self, being in the world and interdependent being as a way of overcoming all forms of metaphysical dualism which could be the root cause of the global crisis. And then it applies embodied phenomenological ecological insights to embodied theology in terms of incarnate Christology, Christic presence and activity, and ecological understanding of incarnate faith. As an example of embodied theological response to the Korean global crisis, it suggests ecological theology of good creation, eco-justice, and the Korean Peninsula as the Body of God. It finally envisions some possibilities of embodied phenomenoiogicai-theological practice of incarnate faith in the global demonic structure of domination and deceit through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

        The room temperature fluorescence induction of chloroplasts was utilized as a probe to locate the site of inhibition by mercury, copper and zinc on PS Ⅱ by mercury. Inhibitory effect of Hg^2+ on electron transport activity was notable as compared with Cu^2+ and Zn^2+. At concentrations of HgCl₂over 50 μM, activities of PS Ⅱ and whole-chain electron transport decreased more than 70%, while that of PS Ⅰ decreased about 10~30%. This suggestsa that PS Ⅱ is more susceptible to Hg^2+ than PSⅠ is. In the presence of diphenylcarbazide (DPC), 50 μM HgCl₂inhibited the reduction of dichlorophenolindophenol (DCPIP) about 50%. Addition of heavy metals induced marked decrease in maximal variable fluorescence/initial fluorescence [(Fv)m/Fo], but no changes in Fo. With various concentrations of heavy metals, changes of chlorophyll a fluorescence emitted by PS Ⅱ showed gradual decrease in photochemical quenching(qQ), which indicates an increase in reduced state of electron acceptor, Q_A. Especially, the addition of HgCl₂, caused a notable decrease of qQ. In the presence of 50 μM HgCl₂, energy-dependent quenching (qE) was completely reduced, whereas in the presence of 50 μM CuCl₂and ZnCl₂it was still remained. The above results are discussed on the effects of mecury in relation to water-splitting system and plastoquinone (PQ) shuttle system.

        The Ecological Epistemology of Pulyon Kiyon and its Ethical Implication in Tonghak

        This paper attempts to develop Tonghak ecological epistemology and its ethical implications for dealing with the ecological crisis. I first address Tonghak ecological epistemology of Pulyn Kiyn (the paradoxical logic of the cosmic life) as an alternative to the Western dualistic view of reality. I also develop Si Ch’nju ecological ethics, especially in Kagji Puli as ecological justice which is the ethical implications of Si Ch’nju spirituality, that is, Naeyu Silryng and Oeyu Kihwa. And then I attempt to show the vision of eco-justice, which the Tonghak ecological ethic seeks in the ecological community of Huch’n Kaebyk where I affirm humanity’s conscious, responsible and yet humble participation in the global biotic community.

        수수의 종자와 새싹채소의 기능성분 분석

        이 연구는 유기농 수수의 곡물과 새싹채소의 주요 기능성 성분인 항산화성분 및 항산화 활성, 일반성분을 알아봄으로써, 수수의 유기농 농산물로써의 다양한 활용방안에 대한 기초 자료로 알아보고자 실시하였다. 수수의 유광 새싹채소는 종자에 비해 조단백질 함량이 2.5배 증가한 것으로 나타났으며, 무기성분에서도 새싹채소에서 1.6~9.87배의 높은 것으로 나타났 다. 항산화 성분 중 총 polyphenol 함량은 유광 새싹채소에서 평균 4,135 mg GAE g-1으로 높 았으나, flavonoid 함량은 종자에서 평균 3.86 mg GAE g-1으로 함유량이 높은 것으로 조사되 었다. ABTS 라디칼 소거활성은 종자에서 평균 15.78 mg TE g-1으로 높게 나타났으며, 유광 새싹채소와 무광 새싹채소에서는 평균간 차이는 나타나지 않았다. DPPH 라디칼 소거활성에 서는 종자에서 평균 15.79 mg TE g-1으로 새싹채소에 비해 11배 이상의 높은 활성이 나타났 다. 특히, ‘동안메’는 황금찰, 남풍찰 및 소담찰에 비해 종자와 새싹채소에서 가장 높은 활성 이 나타내었다. 항산화성분 및 항산화활성은 품종과는 유의성이 없었으나, 광처리와는 매우 높은 유의성을 보였다. 따라서 유기농 항산화 식품 및 천연 항산화제 공급원의 이용시 종자 (‘동안메’)를 이용하는 것이 좋은 것으로 생각된다. 그리고 수수 새싹채소의 영양학적인 유 기농 식품으로써의 이용에 대한 추가연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. This study was done to examine antioxidant compounds, antioxidative activity and chemical properties in organically cultivated sorghum seed and their sprout, and to examine as a basic data for various application methods as an organic farming product of sorghum. The crude protein and mineral contents in the sprout had 2.5 and 1.6~9.87 folds more than sorghum seed, respectively. Total polyphenol content as antioxidant was more in the sprout showing 4,135 mg GAE g-1 than the seed, whereas total flavonoid content was relatively higher in the seed showing 3.86 mg GAE g-1. ABTS radical scavenging activity in the seed was observed by higher level as 15.78 mg TE g-1. However, The sprouts with and without natural light were no significant difference. DPPH radical scavenging activity in the seed exhibited activity of 11 folds or more compared to that of the sprout. The highest activity was detected from the seeds and the sprouts in Donganmae. Although sorghum was no significant correlations among the varieties, it showed correlation with between the light-treated condition and antioxidation.

        부산, 경남 친환경농산물 생산 토양내 8 중금속이온 함량 조사

        This research was conducted to investigate the concentration of 8 heavy metals that included Cd, Cu, As, Hg, Pb, Cr, Zn, Ni in certified environmentally-friendly cultivated soil in Gyeongsangnam-Do and Busan-City. Cd concentration was highest in soil from Sancheong followed by Hadong, Sacheon, and Busan. Cu concentration was highest in Kimhae followed by Sacheon, Busan, and Goseong. As was highest in Sacheon followed by Busan, Gimhae, and Goseong. Hg was highest in Goseong followed by Sacheon, Busan, and Gimhae. Pb was highest in Gimhae followed by Sacheon, Goseong, and Busan. Cr was highest in Gimhae followed by Busan, Hadong, and Sancheong. Zn was highest in Gimhae followed by Busan, sacheon, and Hamyang. Ni was highest in Sacheon followed by Sacheon, Hadong, Gosong, and Sancheong. The total amount of heavy metals was highest in Gimhae followed by Sacheon, and Busan, which are plain areas near Nakdong-River, while it was generally lower in Hadong, Jinju, Sancheong that are located in mid-mountains area. 부산, 경남 지역의 8개 친환경농산물인증 지역에서 카드뮴, 구리, 비소, 수은, 납, 6가크롬, 아연, 니켈 등 8개 중금속의 토양 함량을 조사하였다. 카드뮴은 그 햠량의 순으로 보면 산청, 하동, 사천, 부산 순으로 함량이 높았으며, 구리는 김해, 사천, 부산, 고성 순으로, 비소는 사천, 부산, 김해, 고성 순으로, 수은은 고성, 사천, 부산, 김해 순으로, 납은 김해, 사천, 고성, 부산 순으로, 6가크롬은 김해, 부산, 하동, 산청 순으로, 아연은 김해, 부산, 사천, 함양 순으로, 니켈은 사천, 하동, 고성, 산청 순으로 각각 함양이 많았다. 전체적인 함량을 보았을 경우 김해, 사천, 부산 등 낙동강 주변의 평야지대에서 높은 수치를 보였다. 한편 하동, 진주 산청 등 중산간지에서는 전체 중금속 함량이 대체로 낮았다.
