        아동의 공감능력, 또래관계, 스마트폰 중독의 관계 연구: 공감능력의 매개효과 검증

        This study aimed to identify any possible correlations among the empathy ability, peer relationships, and smartphone addiction of upper-grade elementary school students; the effects of empathy ability and peer relationships on smartphone addiction; and to verify the mediating effect of the empathy ability between peer relationships and smartphone addiction. To this end, the empathy ability, peer relationship, and smartphone addiction tests were conducted among 154 six-grade elementary school students in Gyeonggi and Our findings were as follows; First, in terms of the correlations among empathy ability, peer relationships, and smartphone addiction, the empathy ability and peer relationships were shown to have a positive correlation while the empathy ability and smartphone addiction turned out to have a negative correlation, which was also the case between peer relationships and smartphone addiction. Second, when it came to the effects of the empathy ability and peer relationships on smartphone addiction, the emotional empathy as part of the empathy ability and the esteem out of peer relationships were shown to have a negative effect on smartphone addiction, indicating that an increase of emotional empathy and esteem resulted in less smart phone addiction. Third, in terms of the effect of peer relationships on smartphone addiction with the empathy ability as a medium, peer relationships and smartphone addiction were shown to be partially mediated by the empathy ability. These findings are meaningful in that they could serve as the basic data for the development of smartphone addiction prevention programs for elementary school students.

        일부 치위생학과 학생의 긍정적사고와 공감능력 및 의사소통능력과의 관련성

        Objectives: This study investigates the relationship between of positive thinking and empathy ability on the communication ability of dental hygiene students. Methods: First, the research objectives and methods were explained to students enrolled in the department of dental hygiene in the G area, and 160 participants were selected. An independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, and a Scheffé test were used to measure participants’ positive thinking, empathy ability and communication ability. The correlations of positive thinking and empathy ability with communication ability were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation test, and the factors that impact communication ability were analysed using a stepwise multiple regression. Results: Higher levels of positive thinking and empathy ability correlated with better communication ability. Subjective satisfaction, goal pursuit, cognitive empathy ability, and emotional empathy ability were identified as factors that impact the communication ability of dental hygiene students. Conclusions: A dental hygiene education program designed to improve the communication ability of dental hygiene students is needed. Communication ability is a core competency that can be increased by improving positive thinking and empathy ability.

        임상간호사의 공감능력과 간호조직문화인지가 임상의사결정능력에 미치는 영향

        Objectives This study investigates the influence of clinical nurses' empathy ability and Cognition of nursing organizational culture on clinical decision-making ability. Methods Data collection was conducted on 198 clinical nurses at two general hospitals at P City from February10 to February 28th, 2023. The data responded to the survey were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis. Results As results of this study, empathy ability scored 5.01 out of 7, Cognition of nursing organizational culture 3.47 out of 5, decision-making ability score was 3.56 out of 5. Empathy ability was significantly higher when the woker higher departmental experience (F=2.567, p<.05), the higher position (F=3.662, p<.05). Cognition of nursing organizational culture increased woker higher departmental experience (F=2.753, p<.05) and higher the position (F=3.234, p<.05). Clinical nurses' of clinical decision-making ability was correlated with empathy ability(r=.568, p<.001) and there was a correlation with Cognition of nursing organizational culture (r=.467, p<.001), there was a correlation with also correlated with empathy ability(r=.370, p<.001). Empathy ability(β=.457, p<.001) and Cognition of nursing organizational culture (β=.298, p<.001) had an effect on clinical decision-making ability, explaining 39.9% of the variance. In other words, it was results show that higher levels of empathy ability and Cognition of nursing organizational culture were associated with enhanced clinical decision-making ability. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, there is a need of the development and application of programs to clinical decision-making ability improvement program to strengthen clinical competency of Clincal nurses.

        서비스 제공자 공감능력의 영향요인과 결과요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 서비스종업원의 공감능력에 영향을 미치는 영향요인과 결과요인에 대한 연구로서 서비스 기업의 입장에서 서비스 제공자의 공감능력을 강화시킴으로써 조직에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 높이고, 부정적인효과 는 감소시키는데 초점을 두고 있다. 구체적인 연구의 목적을 제시하면, 첫째 서비스 종업원의 공감능력즉, 인 지적 공감과 정서적 공감의 영향요인으로 사회적 지원인 상사지원과 동료지원, 그리고 자기 위로능력의 요인 을 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 사회적 지원과 자기위로 능력이 서비스 종업원의 공감능력에 어떠한 영향을미치는지 를 규명하고자 한다. 둘째, 서비스 종업원의 공감능력인 인지적 공감과 감정적 공감이 그들이 지각하는 직무 스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 연구가설을 검증한 결과, 첫째, 사회적 지원은 상사지원과 동료지원으로 구분하였고, 공감능력은 인지적공감 과 감정적 공감으로 분류하였다. 사회적 지원과 공감능력간의 관계를 규명한 결과, 상사지원은 인지적공감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있지 않았고, 반면, 동료 지원은 인지적 공감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 또한 상사지원은 감정적 공감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 동료지원은 감정적 공감에 긍정적인 영향을 미 치고 있었다. 둘째, 서비스 종업원의 자기위로능력은 공감능력에 즉, 자기 위로능력은 인지적공감과 감정적 공감 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 마지막으로 서비스 종업원의 공감능력(인지적공감, 감정적 공감 )은 서비스 종업원의 직무스트레스에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구는 서비스 종업원의 공감능력이 그들의 직무스트레스를 감소시키는 요인으 로써 중요한 전략적 수단이 될 뿐만 아니라 서비스기업이 제공하는 사회적 지원과 서비스 종업원의 자기 위로 능력이 종업원의 공감능력을 이끌어내는 의미있는 변수로써 작용할 것이다. This study focused on finding how to raise the positive effect of a service employee on the organization by strengthening his sympathetic feeling at the position of business, not the position of customer and how to reduce the negative effect. The specific objectives of the study are: First, the effect factors of the empathy abilities (cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee are largely classified as the social support (supervisor support, co-worker support) to the service employee and the self-soothing ability. Therefore, this study tries to verify the relationship between the self-soothing ability, and social support and empathy which are preceding factors of the empathy of a service employee. Second, it also tries to verify the relationship between jobstress and empathy ability(cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee. As a result of the verification of the study hypothesis, first, the social support was distinguished as supervisor support and co-worker support, and the empathy ability was distinguished as cognitive empathy and emotional empathy. As a result of verifying the relationship between social support and empathy ability, the supervisor support did not have a positive effect on cognitive empathy while the co-worker support did have a positive effect of cognitive empathy. The supervisor support had a positive effect on emotional empathy and the co- worker support had a positive effect on emotional empathy. Second, the self-soothing ability of a service employee had a positive effect on empathy ability and a positive effect on both cognitive empathy and emotional empathy. Finally, the empathy ability(cognitive empathy, emotional empathy) of a service employee was shown to have a negative effect on the job stress of a service employee.

        유아공감능력에 영향을 미치는 관련 변인들 간의 구조관계 분석 연구

        본 연구는 만 5세 유아의 공감능력에 영향을 미치는 변인들 간의 구조관계를 구조방정식 모형을이용하여 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울⋅광주⋅전남지역 만 5세 유아 530명을 대상으로 공감능력과 자기조절능력에 대해 설문조사하였다. 또한 그들의 아버지도 설문하여 양육태도, 코칭역량에 대해 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 통해 기술통계와 왜도, 첨도를 파악하고, AMOS 22.0을 활용하여 측정모델과 구조회귀모델을 도출하여 부합도와 모수치를 추정하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 아버지의 긍정적양육태도, 아버지코칭역량, 유아자기조절능력은 유아공감능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 반면, 아버지의 부정적양육태도는 유아공감능력에 직접적 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 긍정적 양육태도, 부정적 양육태도는 유아의 자기조절능력에 직접적인 영향을미치나, 아버지 코칭역량은 유아의 자기조절능력에 직접적 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 유아의 공감능력에 대한 이론적 기초가 될 수 있고, 공감능력 프로그램 개발에 기여함과 동시에 아버지를 대상으로 하는 부모교육 프로그램 및 정책 개발을 위한 실증적 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between variables affecting empathy ability of 5 - year - old infants using structural equation modeling(SEM). For that purpose, surveys were performed on 530 infants aged 5 years in Seoul, Gwangju and Chonnam districts, to study their empathy ability and self - control ability. Also, their father measured their rearing attitude and coaching ability. In order to verify the structural relationship, SPSS 20.0 was used for descriptive statistics, skewness, kurtosis and AMOS 22.0 was used for the measured model and the structural regressing model. The results were as follows. First, the ability of children’s empathy is directly affected by father’s positive parenting attitude, father coaching ability, and infant self - regulation ability. On the other hand, father’s negative parenting attitude had no effect. Second, children’s self - control ability is directly influenced by father’s positive parenting attitude and negative parenting attitude, but father coaching ability did not affect children’s empathy ability. The results of this study can contribute to the research on the empathy ability of the infant and the father’s Parenting behavior in the future, and may be used as the empirical basic data for the development of the parent education program and policy.

        학령후기 아동이 지각한 부,모의 공감과 또래관계에서 아동 공감의 매개효과

        The purpose of this study was to confirm the relations among parental empathy as perceived by school-aged children, children’s empathy ability, and peer relationships, as well as to verify the mediating effects of children`s empathy ability on the relationship between parental empathy as perceived by children and peer relationships. The participants were 488 children in the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS and AMOS 18.0 programs. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis validated the goodness of the fit of the measurement model by confirmatory factor analysis, considering the errors that could occur in the observed variables that were composed of latent variables. Subsequently, we analyzed the structural relationship model between latent variables. The summary of the results from this study were as follows: First, the father`s empathy, peer relationships, and children`s empathy showed a significant correlation. In addition, the mother`s empathy, peer relationships, and children`s empathy showed a significant correlation. Second, as a result of validation of mediating effects of children`s empathy ability on the relationship between parental empathy perceived by children and peer relationships, it was confirmed that children`s empathy had a mediating effect on the relation between parental empathy and peer relationships. Specifically, the father`s empathy and children`s empathy in peer relationships showed a partial mediating effect, while the mother`s empathy and children`s empathy in the peer relationships showed full mediating effects. This means that the father`s empathy directly influences children`s peer relationships as well as indirectly influences children`s peer relationships through children`s empathy, and means that mother`s empathy indirectly influences children`s peer relationships through children`s empathy. This study confirmed a mediating effect on children`s empathy ability on the relationship between parental empathy as perceived by school-aged children and peer relationships.

        유아의 지적능력과 공감능력, 적응기술, 낙관성 간의 관계 분석

        본 연구는 유아의 지적능력과 공감능력, 적응기술, 낙관성 간의 관계성을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 유치원에 재원중인 유아 210명이었으며, 유아지적능력검사(K-WISC-IV), 유아공감능력검사, 적응기술검사(K-BASC-Ⅱ), 유아낙관성검사를 사용하여 연구자료를 수집하였고 수집된 자료는 상관분석과 단계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아의 지적능력과 공감능력, 적응기술, 낙관성 간에는 정적상관이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 공감능력, 적응기술, 낙관성이 유아의 지적능력에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과, 적응기술이 유아의 지적능력을 가장 강력하게 설명하는 예측변인으로 나타났으며, 이어서 공감능력이 지적능력을 예측하는 추가적인 예측변인으로 밝혀졌다. 하위요인에 따른 영향력을 분석한 결과, 적응기술의 하위요인인 ‘기능적 언어소통’이 지적능력을 가장 강력하게 설명하는 예측변인으로 밝혀졌으며, 이어서 공감능력의 하위요인인 ‘행복’이 지적능력을 설명하는 추가적인 예측변인으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships among children's intellectual ability, empathy ability, adaptive skills and optimism. Moreover, in this research try to explore indicate children's empathy ability and adaptive skills and optimism influence their intellectual ability. The subjects used in this study were 210 children who attended kindergarten located at S city. The research data were collected by the Wechsler intelligence scale for children (K-WISC-IV), the Affective Situation Test for empathy ability, the Korean Behavior Assessment System for Children (K-BASC-II), and the Optimism Inventory for Young Children. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson’s correlation and step-wise multi-regression analysis using the SPSS 20.0 program. First, the results of this study indicate that there were significant positive correlations between intellectual ability, empathy ability, adaptive skills and optimism. Second, the results indicate that the adaptive skills of children is a positive variable that predicts intellectual ability; furthermore, empathy ability is a positive variable that predicts the intellectual ability of children. Also, the results indicate that ‘functional communication’, which is a subordinate factor of adaptive skills of children, had the most significant predictor of intellectual ability of children. In addition, ‘happiness,’ which is a subordinate factor of empathy, was additional a predictor of intellectual ability of children.

        공감 개념의 확장적 이해: 심리사회적 관점에서부터 영적 관점까지

        The current studies on empathy are focused on the psycho-social and developmental perspectives. The writer attempts to view the concept of empathy not only from the social and psychological perspectives but also the spiritual perspective. The investigation of the current studies on empathy indicate that the characteristics of empathy are related to the concepts of caring, love, compassion and understanding. Those concepts are also related to Christian virtues. The characteristics of empathy can be divided into two the aspects of response and ability. The writer defines empathy as one`s responding ability to others. Spirituality is defined in the relationship with God. It refers to one`s effort to make an intimate relationship with God. Based on the definition of empathy, the others can be substituted by God. In this way, empathy is related to spiritual activity. In order to understand God`s will, one transcends oneself spiritually. Empathy, as responding ability, one responds to God through spiritual transcendence. Spiritual transcendence can be viewed as a developmental phenomenon. Humans develop the responding ability to God through spiritual transcendence. The activity of transcendence helps one to expand his/her scope of mind. Scope expansion indicates the characteristics of empathy. When one`s scope is expanded, he/she can understand others better. Empathy, as the responding ability, reflects spiritual phenomenon which is related to scope expansion of transcendence. In this sense, empathy is one`s responding ability to humans as well as the phenomenon of spiritual transcendence which leads to an intimate relationship with God. Empathy is the social and psychological phenomenon and at the same time the spiritual phenomenon.

        공감능력이 성평등의식에 미치는 영향: 고등학생을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the relationship between empathic ability and gender egalitarianism of high school students. To this end, 358 male and female students attending high school were surveyed and the results were analyzed. It was investigated whether there was a difference between empathic ability and gender egalitarianism according to the general characteristics of high school students(gender, grade, and whether they are in relationship), and whether high school students' empathic ability affects gender egalitarianism. The main research results are as follows: Firstly, regarding the gender difference in empathic abilityr, female students were higher in empathic ability, cognitive empathy, and emotional empathy than male students. Secondly, in terms of the difference in empathic ability according to grade, it was found that first graders had higher empathic ability and expressive empathy than second and third graders. Thirdly, in respect to the difference in empathic ability based on the experience of being in a relationship, the group with the experience of relationship was higher in empathic ability, cognitive empathy, and expressive empathy than the group with no experience of relationship. Fourthly, concerning the gender difference in the level of the sense of gender egalitarianism, there were significant differences in gender egalitarianism, family life, school life, vocational life, and social and cultural life. Fifthly, empathic ability has a significant positive effect on gender egalitarianism, and it was found that increasing empathic ability increased gender egalitarianism. Therefore, it is expected that it will be possible to increase gender egalitarianism by improving adolescents' empathic ability. In particular, it is expected that male students' antipathy toward gender equality education can be relatively alleviated as an indirect educational model based on improving empathic ability can enhance gender egalitarianism.

        정신간호사의 공감능력과 유머감각이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine the degree and the relationship among empathy ability, sense of humor and communication ability of psychiatric nurses and to understand factors which influence on communication ability. Data were collected from 219 psychiatric nurses in B and G city and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of communication ability in psychiatric nurses was 3.59±.43. There were significant differences in communication ability with respect to sense of humor(r=.53, p<.001), and also between communication ability and empathy ability(r=.39, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 34.4%(F=29.56, p<.001). In conclusion, these findings indicate that the higher sense of humor and empathy ability of psychiatric nurses, the higher communication ability. Accordingly, to improve the communication ability of psychiatric nurses, educational programs to improve sense of humor and empathy ability of psychiatric nurses should be developed and utilized 본 연구는 정신간호사를 대상으로 공감능력, 유머감각이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 의사소통능력을 조절하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구참여자는 B와 G시의 정신의료기관에 종사하는 정신간호사 219명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 의사소통능력은 3.59±.43점이었고, 의사소통능력은 유머감각(r=.53, p<.001), 공감능력(r=.39, p<.001)과 상관관계를 나타냈다. 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 유머감각, 공감능력으로 나타났고, 설명력은 34.4%로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 정신간호사를 대상으로 유머감각과 공감능력 향상이 필요하며, 이를 조절하여 의사소통능력을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
