The purpose of constructing university information system is for improvement in diversification and throughput of information, streamlines business processes, rapid exchange of information, sharing of information, decision-making information, and securing educational facilities. Similar to business information technology system, university information system does not have a review system for sharing and overlapping investment of information. Due to the lack of project management for outsourcing and vulnerability of system suitability, system audit is absolutely needed for the university information system. This paper especially focuses on an operational phase in the audit of university information system. Additionally, we proposed operating model and checklists of the university information system based on Management Guidelines of ITIL V3 Operational and Information System. We derived the checklists of operation audit by each domain of service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation, and continual service improvement. As the result, this study appear to have more than average satisfaction the suitability results were.

Research on a University’s Sign System Based on Cultural Characteristics and Information Service - Focused on H University -

Acting as a window to display a university image, the campus's sign system is an important part of H university image, and it is the epitome of campus culture. Through field investigation, the deficiencies in the functions and services, normative and systematic, regional and humanistic, international standards and international vision are found out from the current situation of the university guiding system. At the same time, the presentation mode of university cultural characteristics is analyzed. By using the a little part of the method of service design, this paper analyzes the users' functional requirements for the university campus sign system, and constructs the university culture and service information from the five aspects of the university identification system, spatial guidance system, road sign system, inside and outside sign of building system, and management system. The campus's guidance system, which highlights the university's cultural characteristics, provides high quality and convenient information service, and has perfect system functions, is the spirit of the university. It does not only solves the problem of finding the path for the users in the university area, but also establishes its own cultural brand image by integrating the university's cultural characteristics, and further improves the image quality of the university as a cultural space and the competitiveness of the university brand.

대학의 성공적인 ERP 구축을 위한 대학특성 유형분석

  부분별로 움직이던 행정을 효율적인 업무처리방식으로 한 번에 신속하게 처리할 수 있는 ERP는 1990년대 이후 국내 기업에 적극적으로 도입되었고, 대학에서도 혁신적인 통합정보시스템의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 성공적인 ERP 구축을 위하여 고려해야 할 대학특성이 무엇인지 밝힘으로써 각 대학특성에 따른 전략적인 ERP 도입과 ERP 구축 활성방안 마련, ERP 단일 패키지 개발 및 보급을 위한 정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 전국의 총 225개 대학(54.5%)이며, 12개 대학 특성 유형을 통하여 ERP 구축 유무, ERP 구축 필요성, ERP 구축 계획여부, ERP 만족도를 분류?분석하였고, ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성 유형을 탐색하였다.<BR>  연구결과는 2가지 방법으로 분석되었다. 대학의 기반환경 특성 유형을 분류?분석하기 위하여 데이터마이닝 기법 중의 하나인 의사결정나무분석을 하였고, 탐색적인 과정으로 ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성 유형을 알아보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 하였다.<BR>  연구결과는 첫째, ERP 구축에 영향을 미치는 결정적인 대학특성은 단일 ERP 패키지의 필요성 유무, 대학 규모, 정부의 패키지 사용의사 여부로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, ERP 미 구축 대학을 대상으로 의사 결정나무분석을 한 결과, ERP 구축 필요성에 영향을 미치는 결정적인 대학특성은 ERP 구축 계획 여부, 대학 규모, 대학 유형으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, ERP를 구축한 대학을 대상으로 실시한 의사결정나무분석 결과, ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성은 예산유형, 초기 소요된 예산, 설립 유형, 대학 규모, 정부 패키지 사용의사 여부로 밝혀졌다. 그리고 ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 초기 소요된 예산으로 나타났고, ERP 구축 시 초기 소요된 예산이 작으면 작을수록 ERP 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.   The purpose of this study is to provide information with regard to (i) a strategic ERP introduction, (ii) an action plan for a successful and efficient ERP system construction, and (iii) a development & distribution of the standard ERP system package by analysing the specific character types in universities.<BR>  This study model covers 225 universities in Korea (approximately 54.5%). The university character types are classified and analyzed in light of whether or not the ERP system has been already in place, the system is necessary to construct and the construction plan is prepared. The character types are also analysed in terms of the satisfaction level of the ERP system based on the 12 characters of a university.<BR>  Two methods are employed to obtain the study results; (i) Weka ver 3.4 (a tool for Data Mining"s Decision Tree Analysis) in order to analyse the university character types and (ii) Multiple Regression to identify specific university character types that have an impact on the satisfaction level after ERP system is in place.<BR>  The former yield the following results. First, the critical Character types for ERP system construction are the necessity of standard ERP system package, a university scale and an intention to use the standard system. Second, the critical Character types for universities having no ERP system are the plan for ERP construction, a university scale and a university type. Third, the critical Character types affecting the satisfaction level after ERP system is constructed are the budget type, an initial budget, an establishment type, a university scale and an intention to use the standard ERP system package. Meanwhile, as a result of Multiple Regression, it is revealed that the key factor having influence on the satisfaction level subsequent to ERP system construction is the budget spent at initial stage. Moreover, the satisfaction level is analysed as being negatively correlated to the initial budget spent.

대학박물관의 정보화 현황과 과제 -전북대박물관 '호남기록문화시스템'을 중심으로-

This paper studies the present status and tasks of the database construction project of university museums with the case of 'Honam Documentary Culture System' constructed by Chonbuk National University Museum. Among 104 universities which join Korean Association of University Museums, 71% of them have their own homepages, only 9 of which link their homepages to their university's main server. This figure shows the present status of university museums. Especially, system management of the 53 university museums which take part in National Cultural Heritage Information Project is so poor that only 43% of them can operate it normally. However, the cases of a few university museums are remarkable enough to look at. It is one of the revitalization plans of university museums to serve most of the academic materials as PDF files like Hanshin University Museum. 'Honam Documentary Culture System' constructed by Chonbuk National University Museum was 'Digitalization Project of the Old Documents of Honam Area' which was performed with the support of 110 million won by the Ministry of Information and Communication. This project was made possible thanks to their characterizing strategies to collect and research old documents over 30 years, continuous endeavor to get financial support, and finally collection of experts to do the project at Chonbuk National University Museum. The cooperative network of 10 university museums around Honam area which has been constructed in the process of the project will be a significant case on how to identify the status of university museums ahead. To make information-oriented university museums, they should 1) set up their own strategies to get themselves characterized, 2) construct the cooperative network among university museums, 3) research the objects of information which can be constructed to find out the useful items for the project. In addition, 4) sharing various know-hows and collecting experts should, most of all, be done. Actually, university museums have accumulated heaps of data which are enough to make themselves information-oriented institutes. Thus, there must be a great national project to construct the general academic database of our cultural heritage, and it should be planned by Korean Association of University Museums. 본 논문은 전북대박물관에서 구축한 '호남기록문화시스템'을 중심으로 대학박물관의 DB구축사업의 현황과 과제를 살펴본 것이다. 한국대학박물관협회 회원교 104개 교중 홈페이지를 운영하고 있는 박물관은71%에 지나지 않고, 대학 메인홈페이지에 직접 링크된 하굑는 9개교에 불과하다. 이는 대학 내의 박물관의 위상을 가늠해 볼 수 있는 수치이다. 특히 국가문화유산정보화 사업에 참여한 53개 대학박물관의 시스템관리도 43% 정도만이 정상 운영 중일 정도로 열악하다. 그러나 몇몇 대학박물관의 사례는 주목할 만하다. 한신대학교박물관과 같이 학술적인 자료의 대부분을 PDF파일로 서비스하는 것은 대학박물관의 활성화 방안 중의 하나이다. 전북대학교박물관에서 구축한 '호남기록문화시스템'은 정보통신부로부터 11억원의 국비를 받아 추진한 '호남지역 고문화 디지털화 사업'이다. 이 사업은 30년 넘게 고문서를 집중적으로 수집하고 연구한 특성화 전략과 연구비 확보를 위한 지속적인 노력, 전문인력의 확보 등을 통해 가능하였다. 사업의 추진과정에서 구축한 호남지역 10개 박물관의 협력 네트워크는 향후 대학박물관의 위상을 어떻게 규정지을 것인가에 대한 유요한 사례이다. 대학박물관의 정보화를 위해서는 (1)대학박물관의 특성화 전략을 수립하고, (2)대학박물관별 협력 네트워크를 구축하며, (3)구축 가능한 정보화 대상을 조사하고 사업화 할 수 있는 아이템을 기획해야 할 것이다. 아울러(4)다양한 노하우를 공유하고 전문 인력을 확보하기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 그러나 무엇보다 대학박물관이 가지고 있는 정보화 가능성을 고려해 볼 때 문화유산에 대한 학술 DB의 종합적 구축을 위한 국가적 차원의 사업추진을 모색할 필요가 있으며, 이는 한국대학박물관협회 차원에서 기획되어야 할 필요가 있다.

대학의 감가상각제도에 대한 구성원의 인식정도가 감가상각회계의 유용성 및 정보이용도에 미치는 영향

For execution of double-entry accounting system in national universities, the Act on National University Finance and Accounting is currently presented to and discussed in the National Assembly. For private universities, the Act has been confirmed and announced as of December 22, 2009 for full-on introduction of depreciation system and therefore the amended special regulations have been put into effect in 2010. Accordingly, necessity is raised to discuss the ways to induce stable settlement and improvement of depreciation system. The objective of this study is to contribute to settlement of depreciation system in national, public and private universities in the earlier phase by analyzing the effect of university members' perceived importance of depreciation system on usefulness and availability of accounting information and therefore to propose rational ways of depreciation system introduction. Empirical analysis data were collected by questionnaire survey on university members (teaching staff, general staff and students). To verify hypothesis, analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling. The suggestions based on the study method and analysis results in relation to introduction of depreciation system in universities are as follows. First, members of a university highly interested in the importance depreciation system, with organization to successfully operate depreciation system or equipped with environment favorable for introduction of depreciation system were analyzed to be with high possibility of depreciation system settlement in the earlier phase. Second, members of a university well aware of the usefulness of accounting information according to introduction of depreciation system and capable of successful application of depreciation system were analyzed to be with high possibility to efficiently manage university budgets and assets. 국립대학 회계에 복식부기를 도입하기 위한 재정․회계법이 현재 국회에 상정되어 논의 중에 있다. 사립대학의 경우에는 감가상각제도를 전면적으로 도입하기 위해 2009년 12월 22일자로 확정․고시되어 개정된 특례규칙이 2010년부터 적용되고 있다. 본 연구는 감가상각제도 도입에 따른 대학구성원의 인식정도가 감가상각회계의 유용성 및 정보이용도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 합리적인 도입방안을 제시함으로써 대학회계에 감가상각제도가 조기에 정착되는데 도움을 줄 목적으로 수행되었다. 실증분석을 위한 자료는 대학의 구성원(교원, 행정직원 및 학생)으로부터 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다. 가설검정은 구조방정식 모형을 이용하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학구성원들이 감가상각제도에 대해 높은 관심도를 갖거나, 감가상각제도 도입과 관련된 조직특성과 환경적 특성에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 경우에 감가상각제도가 조기에 정착될 가능성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 감가상각회계의 유용성을 잘 알고 이를 이용할 수 있는 대학의 구성원은 대학의 예산과 자산을 효율적으로 관리할 가능성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 대학구성원들의 감가상각제도에 대한 인식정도가 감가상각회계의 지각된 유용성과 정보이용도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다는 점에서 공헌점이 있다.

국가 산,학,연 협력 연구개발을 위한 과제목표관리 정보시스템의 설계 및 효과 분석

We studied how to achieve successful implementation of massive research and development projects requiring collaboration among industries, universities and government-supported research institute. We have set up an engineering process innovation model to be deemed most adequately for all practical purposes, relying on the theoretical studies on the merits and analysis of the effect of the information system based on Milestone Management, Work Breakdown Structures and Web, which is known to be effective for research project (schedule) management and the objective management, and implemented a real-world web-based project objective management system. After a review of various R & D Project Schedule Management methods, we found that this information system was very compatible with project objective management. This project objective management information system carries out research and development projects effectively and efficiently, getting together in cyber-space and sharing information, and has been equipped with an Early Warning Subsystem to allow for pre-analysis and timely response to potential problems arising from the course of the project. The system also contains an Executive Information System that in real time, automatically provides the management information required by managers with the rate of project progress (achievement, fulfillment and delay). Lastly, actual progress can be cross-checked through both on-line objective management on the web-based information system and design review meeting held on site, to improve the efficiency and validity of the information system. Moreover, overall effect was analyzed through questionnaires on how well the system and generated information meet requirements and on the ultimate impact of the system upon objective management and communication. The questionnaire on the system effect revealed that the information system was useful to objective management and communication, and that the quality of the system was more than acceptable as well.

대학정보시스템의 성과에 미치는 영향 요인

The primary purpose of this study is to examine the influencing factors of performance in university information system. Based on relevant literature reviews, this study posits organizational support, personal characteristics(computer self efficacy), and information system quality as influencing factors of performance. And this study posits user satisfaction, individual impact, and organizational impact as performance of university information system. The major findings from the data analyses are as follows. Firstly, organizational support and computer self efficacy had a positive influence upon information system quality. Secondly, information system quality had a positive influence upon user satisfaction. Lastly, as the relationship of performance variables, user satisfaction had a positive influence upon individual impact, and individual impact had a positive influence upon organizational impact.
