Po-jang-ma-cha, the Korean bar tent has won its meaning as routine and peripheral space/thing in the last decades, where urban space and daily time have mingled. This study attempts to draw a cultural-historical landscape of Po-jang-ma-cha by collecting various observations and documentations instead of following the convention of the academic research, to approach to the monadic modes of Po-jang-ma-cha. In this article I seek to find the historical formation process of Po-jang-ma-cha with 4 standpoints. First, I explicate the original image of Po-jang-ma-cha. Second, the aspect of Po-jang-ma-cha as a transitional zone will be discussed. Third, I observe the affective structure around Po-jang-ma-cha. And finally, I introduce the notion of people who were related to Po-jang-ma-cha. 포장마차는 지난 수십 년간 한국사회 내에서 위치하면서 일상적이면서도 주변부적인 정체성을 띤 존재로 자리매김해 왔다. 포장마차를 설명하는 데 있어 ‘도시’, ‘서민’, ‘밑바닥’, ‘길거리’라는 관련어가 자연스럽게 따라 붙는 것처럼, 한국사회 내에서의 포장마차는 도시라는 공간과 일상이라는 시간이 교차하는 지점에 자리 잡은 공간이자 물상이었다. 공간이자 물상이라는 중첩된 의미를 지닌 포장마차의 풍경사를 그려보겠다는 시도는 정주된 연구방법의 틀을 벗어나, 포장마차를 둘러싸고 있는 균질적이지 않은 관찰과 기록들을 한데 모아 그것의 모나드(monad)적 속성에 더 가까이 다가가고자 함이다. 결국 ‘포장마차의 풍경사’라는 기획이 가지는 학문적 의미는 포장마차라는 ‘작은 그림’을 통해 한국의 근대와 근대인으로까지 나아가는 ‘큰 그림’의 일부를 가늠해보자는, 실험적 속성에 있다. 이 글은 포장마차라는 공간/물상이 한국사회의 일상이라는 사회문화적 맥락 안에서 역사화되는 과정을 크게 네 가지 관점에서 살펴보고자 했다. 우선 포장마차의 기원에 대한 역사적 추측을 시도하고, 시대의 여러 풍경들이 중첩되는 가운데 발견되는 포장마차의 ‘점이지대’적 특성을 살펴보고자 한다. 이어 포장마차를 둘러싸고 구성된 감정구조의 면면을 들여다보고, 마지막으로 포장마차를 드나들면서 포장마차의 존재를 구성했던 사람들이 누구였는지 밝혀볼 것이다.

부당공동행위 즉 카르텔은 그 행위가 은밀하게 이루어져 그 증거발견에 어려움이 있어 적발이 쉽지 않다. 그리하여 경쟁당국은 카르텔 참가사업자가 스스로 신고하거나 조사에 협조할 경우 일정한 조치를 감면해 주는 자진신고자 감면제도(Leniency Program)를 운영하고 있다. 중국에서도 올해 2009년 4월에 ‘독점협의행위금지에대한유관규정(关于禁止垄断协议行为的有关规定)’에서 자진신고자감면에 대한 규정 초안을 제정하고 의견수렴에 있다. 이에 대해 본 논문은 주요국의 자진신고자감면제도와 중국의 자진신고자감면제도를 비교ㆍ검토하면서 중국제도의 문제점과 개선방안에 대해 알아보고자 한다. Cartels usually require the elements of collusion, secrecy and deception. The requisite secret cooperation between participants often enables the existence of arrangements or understandings with little documentary evidence or the competition authority's awareness. In these circumstances, the discovery of and the proof of the existence of cartels can be more difficult than other forms of corporate misconduct. There is such greater justification for a leniency program which is granted to a firm or a person whose confession makes the authority's proof easier. The leniency program not only provides incentives to enterprises to disclose illegal behaviour, but also is a powerful disincentive to the formation of cartels. The leniency program uncovers conspiracies that would otherwise go undetected and also makes the ensuing investigations more efficient and effective. In April 2009, the Chinese Competition Authority, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) circulated draft rules of the leniency program under the Provisions on Prohibiting Monopoly Agreements for collecting public opinions(Draft Rule No. 1) as well. Therefore this paper compares the Chinese Leniency Program with them in major countries like the U.S., EU, Japan, Australia and Korea and carries out researches on the problems of the Chinese program and their remedies.

전문가 인터뷰를 통한 인체치수 활용 현황 파악 및 개선 방향 제안

The objective of this study is to collect opinions about the anthropometric data measurements from experts in the academic and industry and to propose a future direction for "Size Korea" of ‘Korea Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS)’. The importance of anthropometric data measurement has increased in a variety of industry areas to make the optimized products/service for users and to give high user experience, based on the recent new technology development. The interviews with experts were conducted to collect information and opinions about the status of anthropometric data measurement and further directions. The interviewees consist of ergonomic professors and experts in the related industry such as clothing, vehicles and ICT. The experts mentioned the necessity of globalization of anthropometric measurement in common. On the other hand, the professors mentioned the necessity of providing the disabled/elderly-specified information and the industry experts mentioned the importance of improving reliability. Based on the opinions, the future directions of ‘Size Korea’ has been discussed about the direction to move forward in the mid-term and long-term perspective.

Purpose: Because the main drawback of bilateral adrenalectomy is permanent adrenal insufficiency and the subsequent risks of life-long steroid use, adrenal preserving partial adrenalectomy is being accepted as its alternative. The aim of this study is to investigate the indications for bilateral adrenalectomy and to assess the postoperative outcomes and steroid replacement according to operative methods. Methods: From May 1996 through July 2013, a total of 25 patients who underwent bilateral adrenalectomy in our institution were reviewed retrospectively. Surgical outcomes were compared between total and partial adrenalectomy, and postoperative steroid hormone replacement were examined according to the volume of remnant adrenal gland. Results: The median follow-up duration of 25 patients was 55.8 months. The most common indication for bilateral adrenalectomy was bilateral pheochromocytoma (n=16), which was associated with genetic mutation of RET or VHL gene in 11 cases. Cushing's syndrome (n=8) and hyperaldosteronism (n=1) were another indications of bilateral adrenalectomy. Total adrenalectomy was performed in 8 patients and adrenal preserving partial adrenalectomy in 17 patients. Among the 17 patients, only 5 patients needed adrenal hormone replacement and 2 patients had a recurrence at remnant adrenal tissue. Conclusion: Adrenal preserving partial adrenalectomy might be a better option for bilateral adrenal tumor than total adrenalectomy because it can reduce complications associated with adrenal insufficiency and recurrence of the disease is not common.

UFO-Zoom: 화면으로부터의 수직 거리를 이용하여 Zoom을 수행하는 3차원 제스처 기반 화면 탐색 방식 제안

본 연구에서는 새로운 화면 탐색 방식 UFO-Zoom을 제안하였다. 보통 2차원 터치 기반 화면 탐색 방식과 다르게 UFO-Zoom은 화면과 평행한 방향으로 Panning하고 있는 동안 화면 위 손가락의 수직 거리를 이용한 Zooming 수행이 가능하다. 따라서, 경우에 따라 Panning과 Zooming을 동시에 수행할 수도 있으며, 필요에 따라 분리하여 수행할 수도 있다. 서로 다른 3가지 크기의 정보 공간에서, UFO-Zoom, SDAZ, Pan & Zoom 방식의 사용성을 평가하기 위해 타겟 검색 및 선택 작업에 대한 실험을 진행하였다. 그 결과, UFO-Zoom이 정보 공간의 크기가 클수록 다른 방식들보다 짧은 작업 수행 시간과 높은 주관적 만족도를 보였다. 또한, 피실험자들은 UFO-Zoom이 재미있고, 빠르고, 사용하기 쉬우며, 직관적이라는 의견을 제시했다.
