        호화전분의 쌍축형 압출성형에서 전분액화 및 체류시간 분포

        전분액화에 호화찰옥수수전분가 쌍축형 압출성형의 원료로 직접 사용되었다. 그 액화 효과와 체류시간분포를 분석하였다. 내열성 α-amylase(Bacillus licheniformis로부터 분리)를 함께 첨가하여 사용하였다. 전분액화는 환원당측정, gel permeation chroma-tography(GPC), 주사전자현미경을 통하여 분석하였다. 배럴온도와 수분함량이 높을수록 환원당 함량은 증가하였고, 호화전분의 경우 생전분보다 더 많은 환원당이 생성되었다. GPC에서 호화전분의 사용에 의한 저분자화 효과는 뚜렷하지 않았으나, 효소 첨가 없이 압출성형하는 경우에는 일부 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 주사전자현미경의 미세구조에서는 호화전분을 쓸 경우 그 표면이 더 불규칙하고 침식되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 종합적으로 호화전분의 사용이 전분액화에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 체류시간분포에서는 호화전분을 원료로 할 경우 그 분산도가 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 호화전분은 압출성형의 흐름이 원만하지 않은 것을 의미하였으나, 배럴온도와 수분함량을 증가시킴에 따라 그 분산도를 감소시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. α-Waxy corn starch was used as a feed for twin-screw extrusion in order to enhance starch liquefaction with added thermostable α-amylase (derived from Bacillus licheniformis). The residence time distribution and starch liquefaction were investigated. The starch liquefaction was analyzed in terms of reducing sugar contents, molecular size from gel permeation chromatography (GPC), and microstructure from scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The use of α-starch contributed to the production of more reducing sugar than the use of raw starch use alone. From GPC, the effect of α-starch on the molecular size reduction was shown to be small. From SEM, irregular and damaged surface were observed on the extrudate from α-starch, as compared to those from raw starch. The spread of residence time distribution curves was greater with feed of α-starch than raw starch, indicating that α-starch was hard to flow forward during extrusion. This could be improved by increasing the feed moisture content and barrel temperature of extruder.

        Today, Screw model used in extrusion molding of to analyze various simulation notations as well as an experiments use, and is using because among them, third dimension technique among present technique accomplishes most troop. Because that third dimension uses technique does not attain explanation that is correct in model who curt analysis notation on two-dimension has complex shape structure. Is studying measurement of shape of extruder of complicated structure or frictional force of polymer balance and density, applied mechanism accordingly using third dimension technique. Single screw system, analysis target of this treatise, is extruder that extrusion molding that use most polymer resin consists. Most single screw extruder is excellent transfer in melting state of polymer balance, but there are some shortcomings. Melting of polymer balance and color dithering of balance are difficult and high heat of increase of screw speed of revolution to increase done balance quantity produces anaphora along with unmeasured shear force increase. Single screw that have this a lot of controversial points in addition to achieving dynamic analysis of single screw extruder of polymer tube that get into nature of a treatise that use CFdesign that is heat/flow analysis program production stability in single screw extruder system for polymer tube analysis achieve wish to.

        Numerical analysis of internal flow and mixing performance in polymer extruder II: twin screw element

        We analyzed the non-Newtonian and non-isothermal flow with Carreau-Yasuda viscosity model in co-rotating and counter-rotating twin screw extruder systems. The mixing performances with respect to the screw speed, the screw pitch, and the rotating direction have been investigated. The dynamics of mixing was studied numerically by tracking the motions of particles. The extent of mixing was characterized in terms of the deformation rate, the residence time distribution, and the average strain. The results showed that the high screw speed decreases the residence time but increases the deformation rate. Small screw pitch increases the residence time. It is concluded that the high screw speed increases the dispersive mixing performance, while the small screw pitch increases the distributive mixing performance. Co-rotating screw extruder has the better conveying performance and the distributive mixing performance than counter-rotating screw extruder with the same screw speed and pitch. Co-rotating screw extruder developed faster transport velocity and it is advantageous the flow characteristics to the mixing that transfers polymer melt from one barrel to the other barrel.

        단축스크류 고분자압출기 시스템의 개발 및 성능평가

        Extruders can be basically divided into bisk and screw type of extruders. Though plastic extruders are often used for its simplicity for water and oil transportation pumps, these days screw extruders are mostly used. Screws are used in many extrusion processes to manufacture complex and complicated shaped parts made of plastics, medicine materials, food, polymer composites, iron and ceramic powders, etc. Also, material correction of deformities is caused by flow and physicochemical reaction phenomenonand material extrusion is processed according to heat transfer. various material comes to hopper because extruder has function by blender and mixing of materials can go well before come out through dice. These change process is so complicated that process condition is decided by trial and error that process condition is underground mainly at extrusion molding process.

        이축압출성형기를 이용한 옥분의 스낵 성형특성

        This study was carried out to analyze the extrusion characteristics of extrudate extruded with three levels of screw speed and mixed raw material. Density of extrudate decreased when screw speed increased in all of mixed raw materials. Especially, an extrudate density greatly decreased, when screw speed was increased from 250 rpm to 275 rpm. Expansion rate of extrudate was increased with increasing screw speed in all of mixed raw materials. The color value of L was largest in mixed raw material including wheat flour. The color values of a and b was the greatest in mixed raw material including only corn flour with baking powder.
