        치과 코디네이터 교육대상에 따른 교육만족도 및 인식에 대한 조사 연구

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of the dental coordinators and the educational satisfaction level according to the educational period, to determine the effects of the education and the problems with it, and ultimately to suggest what improvements should be made. Materials and Methods: A survey was conducted, for approximately a year and four months from March 2007, on the dental hygienists who were taking post-graduation dental coordinator courses and the students who were taking dental coordinator courses. The data was analyzed by χ2(Chi-square)tests, t-tests and one-way ANOVA. Results: The findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for the perception of dental coordinator education, every dental coordinator and the majority of the students (96.1%) recognized the necessity of dental coordinator education. The dental coordinators (26.1%) viewed the private institution curriculums as the best curriculums to nurture dental coordinators, and the students (39.4%) preferred regular college curriculums (p<0.01). As for the reason why they felt the need for sustained education, the largest numbers of the dental coordinators (38.1%) and students (45.3%) considered it necessary to receive systematic education. 2. Regarding the dental coordinator curriculums, all the dental coordinators and most of the students (94.2%) thought that the curriculums would be of use for future job performance (p<0.05). As for the necessity of a dental coordinator certification examination, the greatest number of the dental coordinators (85.2%) and students (89.7%) consented to the need for that. As a result of asking the assenters the reason for wanting dental coordinator certification examination, the greatest groups of the dental coordinators (46.7%) and students (74.8%) believed that it could contribute to bolstering professionalism (p<0.001). 3. Concerning the educational satisfaction level, the dental coordinators (3.66±0.48) expressed better satisfaction than the students (3.34±0.50). The dental coordinators were better gratified than the students in every regard (p<0.001). Conclusion: The above-mentioned findings suggested that it would be advisable to provide dental hygienists with a certain level of a clinical career with education in order to ensure the success of dental coordinator education, to improve the national oral health and to bolster the rationality of dental officy ofnagement. The development of the kind of system that aims at assessing the performance of dental institutions through the dental coordinator system is expected to stir up not onlylity ootivation of employees, but also the orgaopmational performance.

        무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서 시스템 활동시간 증가를 위한 Coordinator 선출 방법

        무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 기존의 유선 네트워크에서와는 달리 휴대용 기기들만으로 네트워크 망이 형성 되어있고 이때 휴대용 기기 들은 대부분 배터리를 에너지원으로 사용한다. 그러므로 무한의 에너지를 갖고 있다고 볼 수 있었던 종전의 유선 네트워크에서와는 달리 배터리를 에너지원으로 사용하는 무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 효율적인 에너지 자원 관리가 중요한 이슈가 된다. 이러한 특성을 고려한 연구 중 전체 휴대용 단말기에서 일부를 선출하고 이렇게 선출된 coordinator들만 데이터의 전송에 참여하게 하고 나머지 단말기들은 수면 모드로 전환시킴으로 인해 시스템의 전력소비를 줄이는 방법에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 선행 연구에서는 수면 모드의 노드를 최대화함으로써 전체 네트워크의 전력소비를 최소화하려는 노력을 하고 있으나, 선출되는 coordinator 수의 최소화가 항상 시스템 활동시간의 증가를 보장하지는 않는다. 본 논문에서는 각 단말기에서 데이터 전송에 필요한 에너지와 노드들의 연결성을 함께 고려해서 coordinator를 선출함으로써 네트워크의 시스템 활동시간을 기존의 방법 보다 더 증가시키는 알고리즘을 제안한다. Wireless ad-hoc networks are only composed with mobile devices. Unlike the traditional wired networks, those devices are mostly operated with battery power. Since the battery-operated power is limited, the efficient energy resource managements becomes an important issue in wireless ad-hoc networks and various studies that considered these characteristics are progressed. One of those studies is an energy efficient routing using coordinators. In this method, only devices elected as coordinator participate in data transmissions in ad-hoc networks, while other devices remain in sleep node. The overall energy consumption of a system can be reduced. In order to minimize energy consumption of a total network, previous results try to maximize the number of nodes in sleep mode. However, minimizing the number of coordinators does not ensure to increase the system lifetime. In this thesis, we propose an algorithm that can elect coordinators with considering the amount of necessary energy to transmit assigned data and a connectivity of nodes in the networks. The result of proposed coordinator election algorithm can increase the system lifetime of an Ad-hoc network from the results of existing coordinator election algorithms.

        치과 코디네이터의 근무환경과 직무중요도에 관한 조사연구

        This study researched into literature materials in order to utilize basic data on job importance in dental coordinator, and analyzed questionnaire on job importance in dental coordinator for about 2 months from August and September in 2008 targeting dental hygienists and other manpower for dental hospitals & clinics where are located in D region and neighboring region. The following are the results: 1. Dental hospital & clinics where dental coordinators work were surveyed to be totally 66.9%. Dental coordinators were indicated to be 71.1% as for dental hospital·clinic(women), and to be 28.4% as for a case with none. There was significant difference according to final academic degree and working place(P<.001). 2. License holders(women) for dental hygienist as dental coordinator accounted for 39.8%. The opposite case accounted for 60.2%. A case of doing duty of dental coordinator given not dental hygienist was indicated to be high. There was significant difference according to working place(p<.01). 3. The task importance on job that a dental coordinator directly performs was indicated to be averagely 3.24, thereby having been recognized to be important. 4 As for the recognition on job importance according to working-year number, it was indicated to have higher recognition on task importance in the more working-year number regarding customer management(p<.01), organization management(p<.05), and self-management(p<.01). 5. Given seeing difference in recognition on task importance according to medical institution, it was indicated to be 3.34 for dental clinic and 3.25 for dental hospital. Thus, the task importance was indicated to be slightly high in a person who works for dental clinic. There was no significant difference. In light of the above results, in order to educate dental coordinator who can successfully perform a role at dental hospital & clinic, a dental hygienist is required who is equipped with dental-clinic career rather than a person without a major. A professionally educational program for dental coordinator needs to be developed. Even in a dental coordinator`s task, there is necessity for the curricular development and the specialized education.

        DACUM기법에 의한 병원코디네이터의 직무분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze of Hospital Coordinator based on the DACUM(Developing A Curriculum) method. The contents of this study were to extract the duties, tasks consisting of job of Hospital Coordinator and to investigate levels of importance, difficulty, frequency and entry level on each task, and to make out a job model of Hospital coordinator. A DACUM committee was composed to analyze job of Hospital Coordinator and the committee members were total 17, a facilitator, 15 hospital administrator and a recorder. The major findings of this study were as the followings ; first, duties in job of Hospital Coordinator were total 10, which were organization of Hospital Coordinator affairs, customerfacing services, consultation support, customer counsel, customer management, financial management, medical service planning, medical service marketing, organizational management, image making management, and self-development. And total tasks in job of Hospital coordinator were 76. Second, the tasks which were important, difficult, frequent and essential in entry step of occupation were counseling before consultation, explaining treatment plan after consultation, checking progress of consultation, answering teleconsultation, and finding out customer's consultation information. Third, a job model of Hospital Coordinator was constructed based on the results of DACUM job analysis.

        중앙부처의 정책조정에 관한 연구 -정책조정 결과에 대한 "조정 주체요인"의 영향력을 중심으로-

        본 연구는 정책갈등에 대한 조정과정에서 조정결과 수준에 영향을 미치는 주요요인을 분석하되, 특히, ‘조정 주체요인’(정책조정자의 조정역량)의 차이에 따라 정책조정 결과가 어떠한 차이를 나타내는가?에 대한 경험적인 분석에 연구초점을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여, 정부의 공식적·대표적 정책조정자인 국무총리실이 지난 4개 정부 20년의 기간동안 조정과정에 관여한 ‘사후적 정책갈등 조정’사례 510건을 대상으로 순서로지스틱 회귀분석 등을 실시하여 주요 영향요인을 도출하였다. 동 분석결과 갈등해결관련 선행연구 결과와 같이, ‘조정 객체요인’(갈등당사자 특성, 조정 난이도, 갈등이슈 수, 갈등유형 등)과 ‘조정 환경요인’(정치경제사회적 요인 등)의 영향력을 확인하였다. 또한, 대부분의 국내 선행연구에서 이론적으로 설명하면서도 경험적으로 명확하게 제시하지는 못하였던 ‘조정 주체요인’(조정자의 조정역량)의 영향력도 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 정책적 시사점으로서 정책갈등을 보다 원활하게 조정하기 위한 제도 개선방안도 함께 검토하고자 하였다. This empirical study aims to analyze the major influence factors on the level of coordinating public conflicts. Especially, this work focused on the coordinator`s factors, namely, coordinator`s capacity for management of public conflicts. For this purpose, we analyzed 510 public conflicts cases which were handled by the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO) for the period of 20 years (1993.3-2013.2). Further statistical data analysis using a method of ordered logistic regression revealed a few key findings as follows; First, consistent with the previous researches on conflict resolution, the characteristics of public conflicts - the characteristics of the parties in conflicts, the difficult for coordinating(≒ the level of conflicts), the number of conflict issues, the type of conflict - have influence on the level of coordinating public conflicts. second, the characteristics of coordinating environmental factors - political factors : ideological tendency in government, other coordinator`s capacity - also affect the result of coordination. In particular, our results confirmed casual relationships by the statistical significance between the level of coordinating public conflicts and the characteristics of coordinator - the capacity of Prime Minister, the level of Prime Minister`s Office`s coordinating system. All things taken together, we propose that government should improve the present policy coordination system effectively and systematically for more successful coordinating public conflicts based on recognition of the public conflicts` characteristics.

        치과코디네이터 업무 및 인식에 관한 조사연구 -치과의사를 제외한 기타 인력을 중심으로-

        To analyze dental hygienists and other manpower at dental care service institutions where a dental coordinator was working among about 200 dental care service institutions in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon as of June 2005 for contents of training for dental coordinators, opinions of qualification of dental coordinators, present and future services provided by dental coordinators, and awareness of dental coordinators and to provide basic data about future services, roles, and cultivation of dental coordinators, a survey was conducted and 216 copies returned were analyzed, obtaining the following results. 1. 83.8 percent needed an educational program for dental coordinators as an educational content; 41.7% had awareness of the educational content; and 83.8 percent insisted that over the intermediate level of curricula should be taken. Dental coordinator cultivation institutions identified included the institution under the control of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association and the education center for the department of dental hygiene; 76.9% insisted that an appropriate qualifying examination should be necessary. They suggested the central government department and the local government as a certification institution; 39.4% insisted that financial support for the education should be provided by financing education alone. Only 28.7% experienced dental coordinator education and 73.1% hoped to serve as a dental coordinator. They were found to expect a rise in payment (64.4%) and in the title (46.8%) after completion of the educational program. 2. 66.2% saw a dental hygienist as the most appropriate for a dental coordinator; clinical career (39.4%) and practical capacity (29.2%) were suggested as requirements for a dental coordinator; and a period of over three years (47.2%) was suggested for appropriate dental career. 3. Dental coordinators` present services included `reservation management` for customer management, `staff service training` for organization management, `understanding of customer reception attitudes and actions` for self-management, `hospital information management` for hospital marketing, `acceptance` for hospital affairs management, and `hospital environment management` for hospital facilities management; their future services included `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language` for self-management, followed by `staff service training` for organization management, `training and counseling` for customer management, `acquisition of counseling capacity` for self-management, `complaining customer reception` for customer management, and `marketing strategy implementation` for hospital marketing. 4. After comparing dental hygienists and other manpower in terms of dental coordinators` future services, dental hygienists showed interest in `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,` `staff service training,` `complaining customer reception,` and `acquisition of counseling capacity` while other manpower showed interest in `acquisition of ability to use a foreign language,` `document data management,` `acquisition of basic service manner,` `acquisition of counseling capacity,` `manpower management,` `establishment and evaluation of a marketing strategy,` and `education and counseling.` 5. As for awareness of dental coordinators, they were thought of as helpful in improving image of a dental clinic; it was found that continuous training should be necessary to develop dental coordinators` capacity; dental coordinators` services should be important and contribute to patients` qualitative satisfaction.

        성형외과 중국환자전담 의료관광코디네이터의 직무분석

        본 연구는 데이컴(DACUM) 직무분석방법을 활용하여 경험이 풍부한 성형외과분야의 의료관광코디네이터를 대상으로 실무 현장의 직업내용과 직업요구를 파악하였으며, 의료관광코디네이터의 직무에 대하여 정의하였고, 의료관광코디네이터의 전공경향성을 분석하였다. 연구결과 성형외과 의료관광코디네이터직무는 8가지 책무와 63개 과업으로 제시되었고, 책무와 과업의 난이도가 높을수록 결정계수가 더 높고, 교육의 필요성이 더 높은 경향을 보였다. 에이전시회사 소속 의료관광코디네이터는 외부환자안내 책무를 더 많이 수행하고, 병원 소속 의료관광코디네이터는 병원내부 환자안내 책무를 더 많이 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 의료마케팅 운영, 통역서비스 제공, 환자교육과 환자간호 책무에서 수행 빈도의 차이는 없었고, 의무기록 관리와 환자만족도 관리책무에서 병원 소속 의료관광코디네이터가 더 많이 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. 성형외과분야 의료관광코디네이터의 대부분 과업은 의료관련 업무 비중이 높았으며, 이는 의료관광코디네이터의 교육에서 의료전공 관련 지식에 중점을 두어야 하는 것을 의미한다. 특히 성형외과분야 의료관광코디네이터에게 성형수술에 대한 지식, 환자교육을 포함한 간호행위 제공 등 간호학 지식에 대한 교육 필요성이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 환자만족도 향상을 위한 의사소통 교육, 환자안전관리를 위한 의료윤리와 의료법 교육의 필요성이 제시되었다. This study grasped the job contents and requirements of 124 medical tourism coordinators in the field of plastic surgery in Seoul. Through DACUM task analysis method, a new definition of medical tourism coordinators emerged. It was also disclosed in the study that medical coordinator course includes a lot of medical knowledge which is inclined to medical course. The study established eight duties and 63 tasks which were determined in the work chart. At the same time, it showed that the more difficult the duties and tasks were, the higher the coefficient of determinants and the higher the need for education. As a result, the medical tourism coordinator of the agency carries out more duties outside the hospital while the hospital's medical tourism coordinator carries out more duties inside the hospital. There is no difference in frequency among medical marketing, translation service, patient education and patient care duties. More hospital medical tourism coordinators are recorded to perform in medical records management and patient satisfaction management duties. The scope of work is not specified according to the workplace. Most tasks of medical tourism coordinator for plastic surgery need medical knowledge therefore, it is critical to include it in the course for medical tourism coordinators. Particularly, the education for medical tourism coordinator in the field of cosmetic surgery, the nursing knowledge such as patient education and nursing activities, course to enhance communication skills to improve patient satisfaction, and a curriculum that includes medical ethics and medical law for patient safety, were identified.

        치과 코디네이터의 업무수행 효과 분석

        본 연구는 치과코디네이터의 업무만족도 및 업무수행효과를 분석하여 보다 체계적인 치과코디네이터 업무를 파악하여 고객만족과 더불어 의료기관 경영효율화를 위한 기초자료를 제공함에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시 행정 각 구에 위치한 치과 의료기관을 비율분포에 의거하여 표집하되, 그 중 치과 코디네이터를 채용하고 있는 226개 치과 의료기관을 대상으로 2009년 8월25일부터 9월25일까지 연구자가 직접 방문하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문내용은 일반적인 특성, 치과코디네이터 업무 만족도와 필요성, 치과코디네이터 채용에 따른 의료서비스 실적 등에 따른 효과 항목으로 구성하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째. 치과코디네이터의 주요 업무는 고객관리 업무에서 가장 많은 분포를 보였으며, 그 중 상담부분의 업무비율이 가장 높았다. 둘째, 치과코디네이터의 직무수행 만족도에서는 접수 및 상담, 고객관리, 행정조직관리 등 모든 업무에서 비교적 높은 점수를 보였으며, 만족도가 가장 높은 업무는 접수 및 상담업무였다. 셋째, 치과코디네이터 채용 이후 환자진료와 병원수익에서도 효율성이 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 치과코디네이터 업무개선 부분으로는 고객 서비스마인드 제고, 정확한 업무체계 확립, 코디네이터 임금개선, 코디네이터의 교육내용 개선 등의 순으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to promote efficiency of hospital management with customer satisfaction by understanding qualitative system about more systemic hospital service coordinator's job under analyzing the satisfactory degree and coherence of hospital service coordinator's job because of increase of customer need level by medical environment improvement and the variety of offering method of medical service. I allocated a questionnaire per each dental clinic at total 226. According to the study results stated above, generally necessity on employment of a coordinator appeared high and to the necessity, I considered that a dental clinic coordinator's job must strengthen the role for going still more to customer with discriminated mind and service not simple kind service to medical consumer, with establishing more systematic and realistic educational culture in qualification and educational department of a dental coordinator. Also a dental coordinator must be changed to promote customer satisfaction and efficiency of hospital management by more systematic business assignment and role establishment

        한.양방 협진 코디네이터의 실무경험 : 질적 연구

        Objective : To explore and describe coordinators' experiences in collaborative practices between the traditional Korean medicine doctors and the western medicine doctors. Methods : Five coordinators who agreed and completed the informed consent to take part in this qualitative study were interviewed thoroughly and tape-recorded. Transcribed data were analysed thematically with ground theory. Results : Most participants started their coordinating work without sufficient knowledge and systemic support. They, however, could find their identity as coordinators for collaborative practices through preparing manuals and protocols, providing comprehensive patients care, and experiencing the partnership with doctors. To coordinate Korean medicine and western medicine practices efficiently, participants have tried to enhance their professional knowledge and skills, and establish favorable networks. On the other hand, they were in dilemmas of being a multi-player and imbalance of responsibilities and powers in their jobs. Conclusions : It is recommended to clarify job description of coordinator for collaborative practices, develop training programme, and provide the institutional support for wider recognition of coordinator. Findings from this study should be considered in both Korean medicine-western medicine collaborative research and practice.

      • 병원코디네이터의 직무성과 인식

        The goal of this paper is to estimate firm performance of hospital coordinators through a survey on employees of medical institutions placed in Busan and Ulsan. The survey for this paper is constituted by 34 questions of 4 groups related to firm performance, qualification requirement, general fact and a certificate of qualification. The survey was carried out from September 12th, 2008 to September 24th 2008 and 388 question sheets collected finally and used for result analysis. In the result analyses related to hospital coordinator and firm performance, we found some principal outcomes such that 88.6% of respondents approved that hospital image by patients and customers is raised, 87.7% of respondents approved that degree of patient's satisfaction on hospital services is raised, and 81.5% of respondents approved that employees recognized importance of services on customers, by hospital coordinators. In the result analysis on differences in firm performance by presence of a certificate of qualification for hospital coordinator, there were meaningful differences in degree of patient's satisfaction, financial performance and degree of employee's recognition on importance of services. From the all of the above results, we verified that establishment and improvement of educational process for hospital coordinator should be performed through researches on degree of patient's and costumer's satisfaction for hospital coordinator, degree of hospital coordinator's satisfaction for the job and surveys of requirements from related industry.
