        동합금 가두리망 방어양식의 경제성과 수익구조

        This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage in Gyeongsangbuk-do. First of all, in order to evaluate the copper alloy net cage on yellowtail culture, I review the trend on the yellowtail culture industry and research the concept of copper alloy net cage. The copper-alloy net cage is now recognized as an advantages of its system stability, recycling, antibiosis and food safety. The results were summarized as follows: first, there was significant meaning of the profit model of yellowtail culture by the price difference. Second, I analyzed in the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage, internal rate of return (IRR) was 51.58%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 2.27 and net present value (NPV) was 1,087,337 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage is profitable. Finally, in order to improve the economic valuation, it is necessary to focus more on the developing of technology and cost reduction strategy on the copper alloy net cage.

        북방전복 (Haliotis discus hannai) 과 둥근전복 (H. discus discus) 의 종내 교잡에 따른 순종과 교잡종의 성장과 생존 비교

        This study conducted hybridizations between cold water Haliotis discus hannai and warm water Haliotis discus discus to produce both hybrid and pure hatchery stock and then compared growth and survival between the hybrid and pure seeds which were reared in indoor tanks and then seawater cages. A 250 day long culture in indoor tanks showed the highest growth in the hybrid H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus discus ♂, which was followed by the pure H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus hannai ♂. After the 250 day long culture in tanks, seeds with about 34 mm shell length were selected from the tanks and transferred to seawater cages to be reared for another 950 days. The sea cage culture also showed the highest growth in the hybrid H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus discus ♂ like indoor culture. Survival rate of the pure H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus hannai ♂, the hybrid H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus discus ♂, the hybrid H. discus discus ♀ × H. discus hannai ♂, and the pure H. discus discus ♀ × H. discus discus ♂ during the 950 day cage culture was 38.63 ± 0.02%, 39.63 ± 0.01%, 31.25 ± 0.02% and 24.25 ± 0.05%, respectively, indicating the hybrid H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus discus ♂ having the highest Survival rate. In conclusion, the comparison of growth and mortality between the hybrid and pure seeds reared in land-based tanks and seawater cages demonstrated that the hybrid H. discus hannai ♀ × H. discus discus ♂ performed the best.

        Mapping the potential areas for enclosure fish culture in tropical reservoirs: geo-spatial solutions for sustainable aquaculture expansion

        Planning aquaculture and fisheries activities in a reservoir requires knowledge of dynamics of water spread. We studied water spread dynamics of three reservoirs in the Godavari river basin, India using multi-temporal satellite imagery for the period 1990–2018 and developed a framework for mapping the spatial extent of water spread area (WSA) having potential for enclosure fish culture. The study showed that WSA of Nizamsagar reservoir in premonsoon season has declined from 108.11 to 99.34 km2 from phase I (1990–2006) to phase II (2007–2018), respectively and a similar trend was seen in Pocharam and Nallavagu reservoirs. For post monsoon seasons of the same time period, an increase in WSA was seen in Nizamsagar (133.75–144.14 km2) and Pocharam reservoirs (14.15-14.67 km2). Based on frequency of water presence during 2007–2018, WSA with potential for cage and pen culture was determined in Nizamsagar (31.04 km2) and Pocharam (2.87 km2) reservoirs. The study showed that both the reservoirs can accommodate maximum allowed number of cages (5000 and 500 cages respectively). We provide a decision matrix for location-specific selection of suitable culture methods and candidate species, which would aid in optimal utilization of the hitherto under-utilized reservoirs, especially in in situ data poor conditions. This study can be scaled up in the entire country with the help of academia/industry to prioritize reservoirs with potential for enclosure fish culture and plan appropriate interventions for reducing their yield gap.

        해상 가두리에 입식 하는 북방전복 (Haliotis discus hannai) 종자 크기가 성장에 미치는 영향

        Long-term growth and survival rates were investigated in stocking size of Haliotis discus hannai seeds in sea cages. This study was conducted at the abalone cage culture in Bogil-do, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do. The cage used in the experiment was 2.4 m × 2.4 m, and Undaria pinnatifida and Saccharina japonica were supplied as diet. The size of sea cage stocking seeds was divided into groups A (3.2 to 3.6 cm), B (2.9 to 3.2 cm), C (2.6 to 2.9 cm), and D (less than 2.6 cm) based on each Shell length. During the experiment, the salinity and pH were maintained at constant values, and the water temperature and dissolved oxygen content showed seasonal changes, but they were suitable for rearing abalone. As a result of rearing for 722 days, the survival rate did not show a significant difference between the experimental groups except for group D, which was excluded from the experiment due to the large number of early mortality when the cage was stocked. The growth of seeds gradually narrowed as the rearing period lengthened after stocking at sea cages, and there was no significant difference between A, B, and C after 722 days. In conclusion, it was found that the stocking size of early seeds did not affect productivity during long-term rearing.

        아랍난민의 현지사회적응을 위한 정책선택 요인의 상대적 중요도 분석: CAGEES모형에 대한 AHP평가

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the relative importance of the assessment factors for the social integration and cultural assimilation of local countries against Arab immigrant refugees. This paper adapts the AHP method to the CAGEES model through a pilot survey to identify the rational weights and priorities of the measurement indicators and metrics. This study conducts a weighted survey with experts from major European countries such as Germany, France, and Italy. The main analysis focuses on Arab refugee acceptance policies and evaluates the differences between countries for a proposal of policy implications. In the analysis, AHP techniques were adapted with the pairwise comparison of the consistency ratio of all the metrics. Additionally, the consistency of all the items was maintained as less than 0.1. The relative importance of the measurement indicators revealed the economic differences between the home and local countries of Arab migrant refugees. The social support from the local community for Arab migrant refugees can be of great importance for cultural assimilation in the receiving country. Furthermore, the role of the local government bureau is quite important for social integration. 이 연구의 목적은 아랍 난민의 현지 수용국에서의 사회적응에 대한 평가요인의 상대적 중요도를 분석하는 것이다. 이의 과정으로써, 사전조사를 통하여 CAGEES모형을 구축하고, AHP기법을 채택하여 측정지표 및 측정항목에 대한 합리적인 가중치와 우선순위를 파악하였다. 연구 내용에서는 난민 수용정책 관련 선행연구 분석을 실시하였으며, 이에 따른 최적한 사회적응을 주제로 유럽의 주요 아랍 이주난민 수용국가인 독일, 프랑스, 이탈리아의 전문가집단을 대상으로 평가지표에 대한 가중치 조사를 진행하여 그 차이를 분석하고 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다. AHP기법을 활용한 쌍대비교에 의한 분석결과에서는 모든 측정지표 및 항목의 일관성 비율은 0.1이하로 일관성이 높게 유지되었다. 측정지표의 상대적 중요도에서는 아랍 이주난민의 현지국 사회통합에 있어서 난민의 모국과 현지국의 경제적 차이 해소를 위한 정부정책이 주요 요인으로 확인되었으며, 아랍 난민에 대한 현지국사회의 지원은 사회적응을 통한 문화동화에 매우 중요한 정책적 선택요인으로 평가되었다.

        해상가두리 어류양식업의 지역별 어종별 생산성 분석

        This study is aimed to figure out the productivity and variability of cage-aquaculture changes. According to the analysis, the productivity of major fish species has been increasing, except mullet. Although the regional productivity has decreased in the last two years, it has been on the rise considering as a whole. Gyeongsangnam-do showed the highest level of productivity by region. Productivity by species was also higher than other regions in the cases of rock fish, mullet and sea bream followed by productivity of Chungcheongnam-do. The production of marine cage-culture in Jeollanam-do is the second largest in Korea in value/weight while its productivity is lower than that of Chungcheongnam-do. When it comes to comparison by region, Gyeongsangnam-do shows the lowest productivity variation. And Jeollanam-do shows the second-lowest variation in productivity that is only about half of that of Chungcheongnam-do province. Thus, it is found that Jeollanam-do region has an advantage in management stability while its productivity is low. On the other hand, productivity by species was also analyzed. Gyeongsangnam-do has the highest productivity by species for rock fish, mullet and sea bream whereas rock bream productivity is the highest in Jeollanam-do. Therefore, it probably needs to reflect these results when choosing regional-focused incubation fish species.

        중국정부의 인터넷 통제: 새장 속의 자유

        This paper regards the influence of the Internet in China as “freedom in a cage,” and insists that the Internet reinforces the power of both the government and the society. Freedom of speech seems to expand as people have freedom of online activities regarding a limited number of issues. Given that the Chinese government effectively controls politically sensitive issues in online space, governments utilize the Internet to control society. Thus, the Internet is a powerful means to reinforce the power of both the government and the society. This paper is designed to explain how the Chinese government restricts online space to “freedom in a cage.” To this end, this researcher will analyze how and why government-controlled political issues cannot be made public while many social issues are publically discussed online. Looking at how the Chinese government controls and utilizes the Internet and Weibo,the following four questions will be examined. First, which government organization controls online information and how does it do so? Second,why are some issues allowed to be discussed on Chinese online space while others are not? Third, how does the Chinese government utilize Weibo as a means to control online public opinion? Fourth, how does the Chinese government use online space as a means to promote the policy and ideology of the Chinese Communist Party? 이 논문의 연구목적은 중국정부가 정치체제를 유지하기 위해 온라인 공간을 어떻게 통제하며 활용하는지를 살펴봄으로써 온라인 공간의 특징을 설명하는 것이다. 중국 온라인 공간에서 나타나는 국가와 사회의 힘겨루기를 ‘새장 속의 자유’라는 시각에서 분석하고 있다. 즉, 제한된 이슈 영역 내에서는 시민들의 온라인 활동이 자유롭게 이루어지고 있다는 면에서 시민들의 언론자유가 확대되고 있다. 동시에 중국정부가 정치적으로 민감한 이슈를 효과적으로 통제하는 것을 보면 국가는 인터넷을 사회통제 수단으로 활용하고 있다. 따라서 중국에서 온라인 활동의 자유는 국가가 허용하는 새장에 갇힌 자유이며, 이 새장(자유공간)의 크기는 국가와 사회의 줄다리기에 의해 결정된다. 중국정부가 온라인 공간을 어떻게 ‘새장 속의 자유’로 제한하는지를 다음 몇 가지 질문을 중심으로 설명한다. 첫째, 중국정부는 온라인 정보를 어떤 기구를 통해 어떤 기술적 방식으로 통제하는가? 둘째 중국 온라인 공간에서 어떤 이슈는 허용되고 어떤 이슈는 왜 금지되는가? 셋째, 온라인 여론을 관리하기 위해 중국정부는 핵심적 여론 매체인 웨이보(微博)를 어떻게 관리하는가? 넷째, 중국 정부는 온라인 공간을 공산당의 정책과 이념을 홍보하는 수단으로 만들기 위해 어떤 방식으로 ‘온라인 활동’을 하고 있는가?

        수하식 큰가리비 양식의 채롱간 조류의 흐름 간섭현상 규명

        The mass mortalities have been occurring of Korean scallop Patinopecten yessoensis from 1997's to now in Korea east sea. Cages behavior and interference effect (common name; curtain effect) between scallop cages were investigated in culture grounds on the eastern coastal waters of Korea for understand to mechanism of rising about mass mortalities of Korean scallop quickly. The first experiment was carried out in circulating water channel to assess inclination angel from relationship between velocity and cages interval, velocity with culture cages position. An angle of inclination of scallop culture cages were 94.6 to 92.3 degree under a several velocity which were from 0.1 m/s and 131.9 to 118.1 degree under 0.5 m/s with cages interval were 1 m, 94.3 to 91.0 degree under velocity is 0.1 m/s and 133.2 to 122.4 degree under 0.5 m/s with cages interval were 1.5 m and 94.6 to 96.4 degree under velocity is 0.1 m/s and 131.7 to 131.8 under 0.5 m/s with cages interval were 2 m. The second experiment was designed to prove the tank test. Velocities were measured inside and outside of the scallop culture ground at eastern sea of Korea. The velocity of inside of the culture was the slowest as 0.1m/s. In this result, interference between former cage and after cage was occurred.

        Ghemawat-CAGE Model의 검증 및 코멘트

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the various dimensions (Cultural, Administrative, Geographic and Economic distance: CAGE framework) that affect trade volume suggested by Ghemawat (2001). To investigate the CAGE framework, we used SITC 2-digit bilateral trade data that is sensitive to distance in period from 1990 to 2015. More specifically, we used different distance variables representing each CAGE distance dimension to analyze the effects of distance. Additionally, we included exporter, importer and year fixed effect in the empirical analysis to control the multilateral resistance suggested by Anderson and Van Wincoop (2003). In the result, we confirm the results with fixed effects are more stable than OLS. The basic analysis results using all bilateral trade data show negative impact to each CAGE distance. The result indicates further distance of cultural, administrative, geographic, and economic, decreases the export volume. However, each industry analysis shows different results by industry type. Also, empirical result of each industry shows stronger effect of Gravity variables than CAGE related distance variables. Moreover, each industry analysis provides exports by industry were more or less affected by each distance. Although distance-sensitive industries were selected and analyzed in this study, the actual effect of distance shows differently depending on industry and type of distance. Therefore, in the future studies, the logic of Ghemawat (2001) need to be studied more carefully, and the impact of each distance on non-sensitive industries should be considered by using more industries in the analysis. 본 연구에서는 Ghemawat(2001)의 제안을 토대로 하여 무역에 영향을 미치는 여러 가지 차원(문화적, 행정적, 지리, 경제적 거리)들을 중심으로 한 CAGE 모형을 분석하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 SITC 2-digit 데이터를 사용하여 1990년에서 2015년 간 수출국과 수출 상대국의 무역 민감도를 실증 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 각 거리가 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 각 거리를 나타내는 상이한 변수들을 분석에 사용하였으며, 수출국, 수출 상대국 및 연도 고정 효과를 분석에 포함하여 Anderson and Van Wincoop(2003)이 지적한 다자간 저항에 대처하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, OLS 결과보다는 고정 효과를 분석에 포함하였을 경우 결과의 안정성이 증가하였다. 이후 거리 별 전체 산업 데이터를 이용한 분석에서는 CAGE 모형에 나타난 거리 변수들이 산업무역에 모두 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 산업들을 하나씩 검증하였을 경우 산업에 따라 상이한 결과를 보이거나 Ghemawat의 거리 변수보다는 다른 중력 모형 변수 및 무역에 영향을 주는 변수들이 더 큰 영향을 주는 결과가 나타났다. 따라서 향후 연구에서는 Ghemawat(2001)의 제안을 좀 더 면밀히 연구할 필요가 있으며, 민감하지 않은 산업을 포함하여 보다 많은 산업을 분석에 활용하여 거리가 미치는 영향을 분석해야 할 것이다.

      • 부유식 가두리 양식시설 프레임에 대한 동적 시뮬레이션

        Cage culture facilities that used for the purpose of fish farming are inatalled in the coastal or offshore, which exposed to a variety of marine environments. Fish cage mainly consist of frame part, net, and mooring system. Among them, the behavior of the frame part affects the survival and growth of fish. In addition, at break of the frame can be great damage such as loss of fish. Therefore, to understand the mechanical behavior of the cage frame is important step before design of cage system. In this study, we carried out numerical simulation to get dynamic response of a square cage under wave forces. In addition, the structural stability was investigated by performing static analysis of the frame.
