        지역사회 활성화를 위한 스포츠관광 인지도 및 정책 의식

        Today the sports is doing very important role in promoting the tourism industry through sports tours as well as in doing its own functions. Therefore local governments are making effort to develop tour-products for the activation of tourism industry. Also they are utilizing sports to attract more tourists. That is, they are trying to bring economic benefits to their region by attracting tourist with sports. The purpose of this paper is to suggest effective policy implications for Seoul and Kyunggi-do by researching the ways to activate sports tourism. To accomplish the purpose of this study, we have surveyed 1042 people who are selected by the stratified random sampling method. The questionnaire contains characteristics of demography, cognition of sports tourism, and policy of sports tourism. We have performed the pilot test twice and extracted the questions through reliability tests. With questionnaires collected, we have conducted descriptive statistics, analyses of frequency, and crosstable with SPSS Window 10. The result of this study we obtained through data collection and analyses are as follows: First, the result of study on the three types of sports tourism shows that the degree of recognition on sports tourism is generally high. The frequency of cognitions of three styles in the sports tourism is the higher for the group with higher education and income, man, and white status. Second, the result of study on the policy of six types of sports tourism shows that the degree of recognition on sports tourism is generally high. The recognition on the needs of six public relations for sports tourism product is significantly different by the occupation, education, income of the respondents.         델파이방법을 활용한 스포츠관광 활성화 방안의 타당성 분석

        The goal of this study is to provide necessary policy to promote sport tourism in Korea. For analysis, Delphi method was used to analyze the professional opinions: Subjects are 13 of professor in sports studies 10 of professors in tourism studies, 7 of professional in sports touisrm field. The problem of sports tourism is that there is no professional analysis and management abilities showing the future prospects and solutions toward Korea sports tourism. The main point to resolve the problem isth at government should consider about the connection with sport event and tourism market. Infusion of sprots and tourism, construction of sports tourism infra, sports tourism policy and support of budget, develompent of sports tourism contents were factors to closely affect promotion of sports tourism in Korea. Develompent of sports tourism could be carried out by specific strategy according to national plan, community needs. Among the components of promoting and developing of sports tourism affected voluntary citizen particpation, infusion of sport events and tourism resources, onstruction of sports events infra.

        스포츠관광의 이미지와 매력요인을 활용하기 위한 탐색적 고찰

        Sports tourism has become a tourism phenomenon with a wide range of social, economic, cultural, and ecological impacts. It has become an axis of national development in recent years due to various types of sports tourism being very popular. Sports tourism has become more than just a link between sports and tourism, and it has become a rapidly growing niche in the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to theoretically explore the image and attraction factors of sports tourism in Korea, where sports tourism is still in the development stage. In particular, the researchers wanted to provide basic data at a time when a long and comprehensive approach to sports tourism is needed. The implications of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to construct a sports tourism center, which is an organization that systematically promotes sports tourism products, the most important core product in order to attract more than 20 million foreign tourists per year. Second, it is necessary to develop a nationwide sports tourism fostering strategy that can bring about the will and interest of the central government's policy support and the overall support and encouragement of our society. Third, the development and support of sports tourism and the establishment of a center should not only be one-time accomplishments by our national leaders. Fourth, Korea should establish infrastructure related to sports tourism and cultivate creative talents in sports tourism. Although this study suggested the above, in fact, the most important task is that the tourism development decision makers should be aware of the importance of sports tourism.

        도시 관광 촉진을 위한 스포츠관광매력물 조성방안 - 광주광역시를 중심으로 -

        This study aims to propose construction of sport tourism attractions for promoting urban tourism of Gwangju metropolitan city and provide information available in deciding tourism development policies. For the purpose of the study, it conducted delphi survey with 30 panels in the related area and questionnaire with 578 citizens and tourists, and then draw concrete results on the construction of sport tourism attractions based on the results of research and discussion. First, as a result of delphi survey with professional group, World Cup Stadium, Dome Stadium, Eodeungsan Tourism Complex, and Mudeungsan trauk were selected as the sport tourism attractions for promoting Gwangju city tourism. Second, questionnaire with tourists and citizens showed that awareness of the four sport tourism attractions was higher in old age and stable economic status and value and loyalty of sport tourism attractions got positive responses in high social and economic status and experience of participation in sport tourism. Third, concrete methods for construction of sport tourism attractions to promote urban tourism were (1) installation of sculptures at World Cup Stadium and expansion of sculpture park and memorial facilities (video room, photo exhibition hall, memorial trophy, medal exhibition room and video game room) to offer attractions and experiences and improve the environment of stay tour. (2) Construction of dome stadium should be examined positively in consideration of economic effects such as tourism promotion and industrial attraction because it is a great sport tourism attraction which can attract baseball fans and tourists to Gwangju, the mecca of baseball. (3) Eodeungsan Tourism Complex should be developed to sport tourism complex with the functions of experience and stay tour for family and youth based on the specialization and discrimination policy. For this, extreme sport infrastructures for mountain bike, rock climbing and extreme training which can hold sport competitions and expansion of subsidiary facilities should be complemented. (4) Mt. Mudeung enjoys high tourism preference from climbers and tourists and has also high potential of sport tourism attraction. Therefore, development of mountain bike,tracking and cycle courses to enjoy eco-friendly sports within the range of minimizing environmental pollution and expansion of accommodation facilities such as youth training center and youth hostel should be examined. 본 연구는 광주광역시의 도시관광 촉진을 위한 스포츠관광매력물의 조성방안을 제안하여 관광 개발정책 결정에 유용한 정보를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관련 분야의 전문가 30명의 패널을 대상으로 델파이조사를 하고 지역시민과 관광객 578명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 얻어진 결과 및 논의의 과정을 거쳐스포츠관광매력물 조성방안에 대한 구체적인 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 전문가 집단을 대상으로 한 델파이조사에서 광주광역시의 도시 관광촉진과 연계성이 큰 스포츠관광매력물의 우선순위를 월드컵축구4강 신화를 창조한 월드컵경기장, 돔구장, 어등산 종합관광단지,무등산 등산로 등을 선정하였다. 둘째, 관광객과 시민을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 선정된 4곳의 스포츠관광매력물에 대한 인지도에는 연령이 높고 경제적으로 안정되어 있는 관광객의 인식 정도가 높게 나타났으며 스포츠관광매력물에 대한 중요도와 충성도는사회ㆍ경제적인 여유가 있고 스포츠관광 참가경험이 있는 응답자일수록 긍정적인 응답을 하였다. 셋째, 도시 관광촉진을 위한 스포츠관광매력물의 조성에 대한 구체적인 방안은 (1) 스포츠문화유산으로서 가치가 큰4강 신화를 이룩한 월드컵축구경기장에 조형물설치, 조각공원 및 기념공간시설(영상실, 사진전시실, 기념트로피 및 상패전시실, 비디오게임방 등)을 확충하여 볼거리와 체험거리를 제공함으로써 도시 관광의 취약성인 체류관광의 환경을 개선해야 한다. (2) 돔구장건설은 야구메카도시라 할 수 있는 광주광역시에 전국의야구팬과 관광객들에게 방문을 유도할 수 있는 훌륭한 스포츠관광매력물이기에 시민의 공감대가 이루어진다면 관광촉진과 기업투자유치의 효과를 고려할 때 긍정적으로 검토할 필요가 있다. (3) 어등산 종합관광단지는 가족 및 청소년중심으로 특성화, 차별화를 위해 기존 체육시설이외에 체험 및 체류관광 의 기능을 갖는 스포츠관광단지로 개발해야 한다. 이를 위해 스포츠대회를 개최할 수 있는 산악자전거(MTB), 암벽등반,지옥훈련장 등의 각종 익스트림 스포츠 인프라의 구축과 부대시설 확충이 보완되어야 한다. (4) 무등산은전국 등산객과 방문객에게 관광 선호도가 높아 스포츠관광매력물의 잠재성이 매우 높다. 따라서 환경오염을최소화하는 범위 내에서 환경 친화적인 스포츠를 즐길 수 있도록 산악자전거, 트랙킹, 싸이클 코스, 체력단련장 등의 개발과 청소년수련원 및 유스호스텔과 같은 숙박시설의 확충을 검토해야 한다.

        중국 스포츠관광 활성화를 위한 탐색적 연구

        (Purpose) Sports tourism is a new industry that combines the tourism industry and the sports industry, and the phenomenon of globalized culture and the development status of the tourism industry have an important impact on the development of the national economy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development status of sports tourism in China and the mechanism of sports tourism development and to present directions that can contribute to the development of sports tourism. (Design/methodology/approach) This study used the literature data research method, collected data related to the Chinese tourism industry and sports industry from 2010 to 2019 through the China Tourism Yearbook, China Statistics Bureau, and the National Sports Bureau platform, and analyzed the development trend and combined development status of Chinese sports tourism. (Findings) As a result of the study, the conditions of Chinese sports tourism development were mainly analyzed in terms of the natural environment, economic conditions, activation of various events, policy support, and infrastructure conditions. (Research implications or Originality) China is a country rich in population and resources, but the level of development of sports tourism is certainly lagging behind that of Western countries. Therefore, this study summarized the current development process of sports tourism in China, suggested ways to promote the development of sports tourism in China, and sought ways suitable for the development of tourism in China.

        유사 관광유형 비교를 바탕으로 한 스포츠 관광 활성화 방안

        본 연구는 관광산업과 융·복합화된 스포츠 관광 콘텐츠 개발의 필요성을 바탕으로, 스포츠관광을 활성화하기 위해, 타 하위개념의 관광유형들과의 비교를 바탕으로 한 경쟁력을 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 국내 스포츠관광산업의 여건을 분석하고, 스포츠관광 콘텐츠 육성 정책 수립의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 스포츠관광의 포지셔닝을 조사한 결과 국내 스포츠관광의 현재의 위치는 Y축(시설 및 테마의 복합 정도)에서는 비교적 중간 이하 수준으로 평가하고 있으며, X축(부가가치 측면)에서도 역시 비교적 낮은 수준으로 평가되고 있었다. 그러나 스포츠관광의 미래 위치는 세계관광기구에서 제시하고 있는 위치보다 시설/테마 복합도, 부가가치 측면 모두 높은 수준까지의 발전을 예상하는 것으로 나타났다. 유사 관광영역들과의 상대적 경쟁력을 비교한 결과, 스포츠관광(20.0점)을 기준으로 6개 영역(농촌, 생태, 의료, 역사, 도시, 해양)은 높은 점수를 나타내고 있으며, 2개 영역(교육, 산업)은 스포츠관광보다 낮은 점수를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구 결과를 분석해 볼 때 향후 스포츠관광활성화를 위해서는 다양한 스포츠 관광 콘텐츠발굴, 스포츠 관광 활성화 모델 개발, 스포츠 관광 정책 사업의 발굴이 선행되어져야 할 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study is to present a direction of sport tourism content policy establishment. This study estimates the demand for sports tourism in order to activate the sports tourism based on the needs of the tourism industry and convergence of the multifunctional sport and content development. And also analyzed the situation of the domestic sports tourism industry based on competitiveness in comparison with the type of tourism and sports tourism demand analysis of sub-concepts. Researching the positioning of sports tourism, current sports tourism had been rated as relatively less intermediate level in Y-axis, also had been evaluated at a relatively low level in the X-axis. However, the future location of sports tourism was expected to develop to a higher level in all facility, complex themes, added value than the presented level of the World Tourism Organization expected. Comparison of the relative competitiveness with similar tourist areas, based on sport and tourism (20.0 points), six areas shows a higher scores, Two areas (education, industry) showed lower scores than sports tourism. Based on these results, this research has investigated that the excavation of sports tourism content, the development of sports tourism activation model and excavation of sports tourism policy business as detailed plans for revitalization of sport tourism.

      • 목포권 스포츠 관광의 개발현황 및 발전과제

        This study aims to find a solution promoting sports tourism as the affective plan for tour industry in Mokpo area. This study will define the necessity of sports tourism development and provide the solutive of sports tourism development in Mokpo area by researching and analyzing sports tourism environment and opinons. For the examination objects, sports tourists who visited Mokpo area (Mokpo, Sinan, Muan, Yeongam, Haenam), sports tourism industry workers, politicians for tourism policy, college students, local citizens are referred to, and the samples of examinations objects is drawn out by Stratified Cluster Samplig and Convenient Sampling. Total numbers of samples are 776, but final available samples are 738 excepted 36 who answered thoughtlessly. The question sheet for this for this study compares previous studies of Gibson(1988), Danaher et, al, (1996) and Yoon, Yee-Joong. It is composed to social-population property, tourism experience, divelopment possibility, appraisement for tourism, golf course constrution, marine sports development, etc The way of statistics in this study is technical statistics to examine the general property and cognition of examination objects, T-test and Anova are used for comparing analysis according to population statictic property. The conclusions from the study are as follows : First, pulblic officers, workers of tourism, and the inhabitants have very low level of conscioysness about sports tourism. So the condition of sports, tourism is very poor. Especially the fact that the policy makers have very low level of consciousness about sports tourism is the biggest problem in developing Mokpo area as a modern and international tourism center. Second, the condition and environment of tourism Mokpo area is very poor because of the difficulty of approach. the lack of facilities, the lack of advertisement, and so on. But there are various sports tourism resources such as beautiful tour course of the land and the sea, deaches of Sinan-Keun, places for fishing, diving points for construction of golf course in Haenam and Youngam. Third, Mokpo area has bright prospect in not only the domestic tourism for the tourists of seoul and large cities but also the international tourism for the tourists of Japan, China, and South-east Asia. If the SOC business in Mokpo area are West-coast Highway, Muan International Airport, Mokpo harbor, the removal of provincial office, the construction of double train track, and so on. In addition to this, Mokpo area in the starting point of the southern seashore touting belt which is carried by the government. So Mokpo area has good condition to construct tourism infrastructure and has big potentiality to be the center of sports tourism of Korea. Fourth, it is needed to make and pursue the policy which makes Mokpo area as the center of golf tour, finshing tour and diving tour. The way to do this is like this hold various seminars and debating societies to change the consciousness about sports tourism, and construct golf courses, beaches, associated with sports tourism, it is mecessary to held national sports games, invent sports programs and sports tourism packages connected with local festival, make internet site to advertise sports tourism, and plan political policy to develop the speciality of sports tourism.

      • Research Status on College Students Participation in Sports Tourism

        Introduction: This article give all aspects analysis on present situation of sports tourism to Beijing college students, finally it proposes the constructive opinion, by supplied the model and the reference. Methods: This article employs many kinds of method such as literature research, the expert interview, the questionnaire survey, the mathematical statistic and the logical analytic method. Results: The weakness of sports tourism to college students: 61.1% college students in survey thought that attend sports tourism will cause additional expenses and they do not choose it for these reasons. Other 65.4% girls feel dull In the process of sports tourism. The strengths of sports tourism to college students: through conducting the survey, it can be find that improve body health is the first motive to college students attend sports tourism, enhance social adaptation is secondary. The third aspects, security of participate in the sports tourism is the strength to students. The opportunities of sports tourism to college students: < outline of the nationwide body-building plan > point that citizens health services will be developing and to form of fitness and leisure market. The encouragement policies give a rare opportunity to sports tourism. Meanwhile, the new shopping forms provide help to clear the obstacles to development. The threats of sports tourism to college students: Resources explore in sports tourism is disorderly and other industries constitutes a threat to development of sports tourism. Conclusion: Improve body health and mental health is most important function of sports tourism, it cater the purpose of fitness and entertainment to college students attend sports tourism. In circumstances of foster Sports tourism, practitioners should take new channels for product promotion such as internet mass order etc. Thus reduce economic cost of the students in these ways. Rich tour content, resource development reasonably, maintain its fashion and novelty, make sports tourism competitive and vitality, can help sports tourism popular in campus.

        여가문화로서 스포츠와 관광의 융합

        본 연구의 목적은 그동안 진행되었던 스포츠관광 연구를 고찰해보고 여가문화로서 융합적인 관점에서 스포츠관광 연구의 미래 방향을 제시하고자 하며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠와 관광이 각각의 독립적인 개념에서 융합적인 개념으로 전환의 필요성이 제기되고 있고 본 연구에서 제시한 융합적 스포츠관광 모형은 스포츠관광의 개념을 잘 전달하고 있다. 둘째, 여가문화로서 수정된 융합적 스포츠관광 모형은 기존의 스포츠관광 모형에 문화/예술 등이 추가된 모형으로서 스포츠관광과 관련된 여가문화와 여가행동, 여가산업을 이해하는데 도움이 되며 스포츠관광 산업을 발전시키는 원동력이 된다. 셋째, 2018평창동계올림픽을 앞두고 스포츠관광에 대한 다양한 관점에서 이론 연구나 융합을 위한 학제 간 국내․국제 학술대회의 개최가 절실하고 세계적인 스포츠관광 연구의 흐름에 맞출 필요가 있으며 스포츠관광과 관련된 세계화, 민족주의와 정체성, 여가제약 및 여가협상전략, 진지한 여가, 도시재생, 지속가능성, 운동형스포츠관광 등의 연구 주제가 추천된다. 넷째, 융합적 관점으로 대학 및 대학원에서 스포츠관광 전문가 양성을 위한 교과목 개설과 함께 우리나라의 환경에 적합한 스포츠관광 관련 강의계획서 및 강의교재 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 여가문화로서 스포츠와 관광의 융합을 위해서 두 가지 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화체육관광부는 스포츠관광의 효과를 극대화하기 위해서 세계수준-국가수준-지역적인 수준에서 각 단계별로 스포츠와 관광, 문화/예술 관련 단체들의 융합을 이끌어 내야하고 국회, 예산, 법령, 발간, 현황, 실국자료 등에 융합의 내용이 실질적인 문서로서 반영되어야 한다. 둘째, 우리나라의 운동형스포츠관광 자원이나 행사를 알릴 수 있는 영문 학회지 창간이나 국제적인 운동형스포츠관광 컨퍼런스 유치 또는 개최가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. This study is to research in Sport Tourism Studies as leisure culture, and also to suggest the future direction of this area in the perspective of convergence. I have come to the conclusion as follows. Firstly, there needs to be a conceptual shift in our thinking about this area with a new approach to the convergent concept of Sport Tourism, rather than considering each individual area separately. A convergent sport tourism model that is suggested in this study corresponds well with the notion of Sport Tourism. Secondly, as leisure culture is an expanded model of a modified convergent sport tourism which includes culture and art, researching on this area also helps to understand the nature of leisure and its behaviour as well as leisure industry. Thirdly, we are desperately in need of more conferences and seminars prior to hosting the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, and we also keep up with the latest relevant studies in the same level of world standard. It also should be encouraged to research on the related subjects such as Globalization, Nationalism and Identity, Leisure Constraint Negotiation Strategies, Serious leisure, Urban Regeneration, Sustainability, and Active Sport Tourism. Finally, academic courses in Sport Tourism should be offered widely in universities for a degree and even a master’s degree. To make this happen, we need to design a new syllabus and develop the relevant textbook contents in a diverse perspective. My suggestions on this proposal are as follows. 1)The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism should take the head in supporting the convergence of Sport and Tourism, and Culture and Arts to maximize the benefits of Sport Tourism on each level of world/nation/local. And also the articles of sport tourism for convergence should be reflected in the National Assembly, Budget, Legislation, Publication, and Reports. 2)English Academic journals should be established to lead our research on Active Sport Tourism to success in the perspective of convergence, by providing wider publicity of our events and functions to the world. It would be also helpful with either holding of a number of international conferences or event hosting.

        A Study on Sustainable Marine Sports Tourism

        Background/Objectives : This study set the premise that Korea is currently aiming for the position of a tourism rich country and a tourism independent country beyond a tourism developed country and a tourism powerhouse through tourism revitalization. In this context, this study set the necessity and purpose of the study to present policy suggestions on the revitalization of sustainable marine sports tourism as one of the step-by-step approaches to revitalizing domestic marine tourism. Based on this, this study was conducted by setting the establishment of values for domestic marine sports tourism, the spread of consensus, and the provision of related basic data as secondary research purposes. Methods : As a research method of this study, a literature research method that analyzes and considers related prior studies focusing on keywords such as marine tourism and marine sports tourism was applied. Specifically, the theoretical development of the paper was applied through analysis and consideration of research and degree papers, policy reports, and various data and literature with high relevance and similarity. Through this, it was intended to present related research contents and research results to revitalize marine sports tourism. Findings : In this study, we would like to make policy suggestions for revitalizing marine sports tourism as follows. First, in order to revitalize sustainable marine sports tourism, it is requested to establish and promote a master plan that includes mid- to long-term roadmaps and policies on the development of domestic marine sports tourism resources. Second, the creation of customized and base-type tourism clusters for each region is required to revitalize sustainable marine sports tourism.
