        Floristic characteristics of vascular plants and first distributional report of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim in Yongneup wetland protected area

        Yongneup wetland protected area, the only high moor in Korea, is a core area to conserve biodiversity. Even though the Yongneup wetland protected area is relatively small, various plant species are distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area because it includes various habitats showing different environmental gradients. Vascular plants distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area were identified as a total of 376 taxa that is composed of 73 families, 217 genera, 322 species, 3 subspecies, 44 varieties and 7 forms. For endangered plants designated by the Ministry of Environment, 5 species including Trientalis europaea var. arctica, Lilium dauricum, Halenia corniculata, Lychnis wilfordii and Menyanthes trifoliata were found and 34 taxa were confirmed to be distributed only in the mountainous wetland habitats. Regarding naturalized plants, a total of 11 taxa were distributed, but most of them were distributed in the areas where artificial interference has occurred. And in areas inside the wetlands that are relatively well preserved, 2 species of Bidens frondosa and Erigeron annuus were observed. In this study, the occurrence and distribution of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim, which was recently found in Mt. Baekdu and reported as a new species, were identified in the Yongneup wetland protected area. A wetland is a very vulnerable area to drastic environmental changes and damages to its ecosystem could cause the extinction of rare plant species which are distributed only in the wetlands. Therefore, it is mandatory that current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area is evaluated and actions to prevent rapid environmental changes are taken. Fourteen separate investigations were conducted in 2013 and another four in 2014, to evaluate current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area. These investigations have provided us the basic information for future actions of conservation and restoration.

        This study focuses on the inspect of effective net area design code, according to limited state design criteria of steel structures, recently established in Korea, by an experiment on the joint of angle tension members on the ground. reduction factor. The methods of this study were to compare other study results on effective net area rupture mode and ultimate capacity, and to evaluate the propriety of the criteria design code. The result is that code in force limited state design criteria of steel structures and AISC-LRFD joint of angle tension members predicted load and experiment depend on ultimate capacity difference. Therefore, it is thought that there is need for supplemental test and study to effective net area of tension joint focused on bolted connection of angle.

        용담댐 예정지역의 어류상을 조사하기 위해 1991년 10월부터 3차에 걸쳐 9개 지점을 대상으로 실시하였다. 1차 조사에서는 총 4과 16종이 채집되었고, 2차 조사에서는 총 6과 21종이 채집되었으며, 3차 조사에서는 3과 16종이 채집됨으로서 1, 2, 3차 조사를 통해 확인된 총 서식 어종은 6과 22종이었다. 이들 중 보편종은 갈겨니 Zacco temmincki, 피라미 Z. platypus, 쉬리 Coreoleucicus splendidus, 돌마자 Microphysogobio yaluensis, 돌고기 Pungtungia herzi, 칼납자루 Acheiloganathus koreanus 등으로 전형적인 상류성 어류가 대부분이었으며, 이들 가운데 한국 특산어종은 줄납자루 Acheilognathus yamatsutae, 감돌고기 Pseudopungtungia nigra, 쉬리 C. splendidus 등 총 12종으로 자연 분포 어류 중 27.5%를 차지하였다. 특히 환경의 변화에 민감하여 앞으로 그 수가 감소될 것으로 예상되어 보호되어야 할 종은 감돌고기 P. nigra, 꾸구리 Gobiobotia macrocephalus, 돌상어 G. brevibarba, 참종개 Cobitis koreensis, 꺽지 Coreopercaherzi, 쉬리 C. splendidus, 자가사리 Liobagrus mediadiposalis, 누동자개 Pseudobagrus sp. 등으로 나타났다. 용담댐 예정지 동일 지점을 대상으로 군집분석한 결과 다양도 지수는 St.3지점에서 1, 2, 3차 각각 1.97,1.89,1.92로 비교적 유사한 값을 나타내었으며, 시기별로 현저한 차이를 보이는 지점은 St.4와 St.8지점으로 그 범위는 0.00에서 1.35로 산정되었다. 또한 풍부도 지수는 St.3지점에서 1, 2, 3차 각각 2.44, 2.32, 2.57의 범위로 비교적 높게 산정되었으며, St.6과 St.8지점은 조사 시기별로 현저한 차이를 보였고, St.3이 군집이 비교적 안정되어 있는 장소로 판단되었다.

        Arousal, synonymous with activation and alertness, is one aspect of attention. The neurophysiology of arousal was discussed relative to the autonomic nervous system, specific brain mechanisms, and electrophysiological indicators of arousal and activation. The two divisions of the autonomic nervous system are the sympathetic and parasympathetic. The sympathetic division is responsible for heightened arousal while the parasympathetic division helps to maintain homeostasis. Three of the brain structures and mechanism that are of significant importance in arousal are the ascending reticular activation system, the hypothalamus, and the cerebral cortex. Some of the electrophysiolosical indicators of arousal are electrocortical activity(EEG), heart rate, muscle tension(EMG), and the galvanic skin response(GSR) The relationship between arousal and athletic performance is represented best by the inverted-U curve. The foundation of inverted-U theory is the classic work of Yerkes-Dodson(1908). Three theories that predict a quadratic relationship between performance and arousal are cue utilization theory, signal detection theory, and information processing theory. Cue utilization theory is based on the principle of relevant and irrelevant cues and attentional narrowing. Signal detection theory is based upon the notion of errors of commission and omission and on a subject's response criterion. Information processing theory is based upon channel capacity and neural activity. Each of the inverted-U theories hypothesize that an optimal level of arousal is necessary for best performance. Drive theory was discussed in terms of the effects of arousal on learning and performance. In its simplest form, drive theory posits a linear relationship between athletic performance and arousal or drive. According to drive theory, increased arousal elicits the dominant response. For beginners, or when practicing a highly complex task, the dominant response is generally the incorrect response. For simple tasks, or for highly skilled performers, the dominant response is generally the correct response.

        In this paper, We have studied on the critical vibration limits of spindle unit for the high speed ball pen tip processing machine. The vibration of bearing can be measured by FFT, and the influence of vibration amplitude due to the Unbalance, bearing deflect, bite and timing belts tension are analyzed. So, the critical vibration limits of spindle is determined by the X, Z directional vibration of spindle Unit.

      • 揷橋川의 淡水魚群集에 관한 硏究

        This survey was investigated freshwater fish communities in Sapkyo Stream for four month from May 1986 to August 1987, and classified fish communities, and then analyzed them. The result obtained were as follows: 36 species belonging to 10 family were collected in Sapkyo Stream. There were collected 80% species of total species of freshwater fishes in Korea. Cultriculus eigenmani showed the highest value of relative abundance in Sapkyo Stream. By the partial ordination analysis, with constancy as the range 10% to 60%, the fish communities in Sapkyo Stream were divided into Moroco-Zacco (A), Zacco-Cultriculus (A+B), Pelteobagrus-Cultriculus (B), Acanthogobius-Carassius (C) community. The diversity index, eveness index and species richness index value in Sapkyo Stream were appeared relatively high, but the dominance index value showed low. Fish species of high relative abundance and constancy value in Sapkyo Stream were showed as lake type.

        용담댐의 생태계를 조사하기 위한 일환으로 1991년 11월11일 부터 11월12일의 기간에 용담댐 예정지역의 9개 지소에서 담수어류상을 조사하였다. 총 16종이 채집되었으며 보편종은 갈겨니 Zaccotemmincki, 피라미 Z. platypus, 돌마자 Mirophyso-gobio yaluensis, 칼납자루 Acheilongathus limbata. 쉬리 Coreoleuciscus splendidus, 버들치 Moroco oxycephalus이고 이중 한국특산종은 7종이었다. 1991년 이전의 목록에서는 총 39종이 채집되었으며 이중 보편종은 피라미 Z. platypus, 쉬리 C. splendidus, 돌마자 M. yaluensis, 돌고기 Pungungiaherzi, 갈겨니 Z. temmincki 등의 순이며, 이중 한국특산종은 14종으로 남한아구역특산종의 35%를 차지하였다. 경제성어종으로는 붕어 Carassius auratus, 누치 Hemibarbus labeo, 참마자 H. longirostris, 모래무지 Pseudogobio esocinus, 갈겨니 Z. temmincki, 끄리 Obsarlichthys bidens, 동자개 Pseudobagrus fulvidraco, 대동갱이 Leiocassis usseriensis, 눈동자개 Pseudobagrus Koreanus, 메기 Sirurus asotus, 쏘가리 Siniperca scherzeri, 꺽지 Coreoperca herzi, 가물치 Channa argus 등을 들수 있으며 특기할만한 어종으로는 쉬리 C. splendidus, 감돌고기 G. brevibarba, 갈겨니 Z. temmincki, 눈동자개 P. koreanus, 자가사리 Libagrus mediadiposalis, 꺽지 C. herzi등으로 이들 종은 댐건설후 감소가 예상되어 보호되어야 할 종들로 판단되었다.

        Qi Gong has meanings of both breathing training and mind training. In the Qi Gong, Qi means breathing, Gong means constantly controlling and practicing of breathing or posture. Therefore, the training of Qi Gong is called Qi training and mind training, strenthening and promoting the function of concerned organs, as inducing and operating Qi by consciousness. Qi Gong has been also called various names of "To Nap", "Do In", "Yeon Dan", "Hyun Gong", and so on. By the way, since the great Qi Gong, Yu Gyu Jin has established the official and academic terms in 1935. According to activating Qi Gong research, in the China, the academic department of Qi Gong is instituted and Qi Gong's scientific research is carried out under national support. Also in the hospital, the dept of Qi Gong is installed and obtained good results in a adult disease. Japan also is being processed international simposium of Qi Gong by the centered-scholar. Also, through various measuring instruments, scientific measurements about Qi's function had come to be possible steps. Korea has a brilliant history of Do In- care of Health, However, regarding as Qi Gong's former self, as a result of preponderance about the Qi Gong of military arts and superability, some pseudo foster a distrust and skepticism, and a research and a recognition was falled behind comparing Japan and China's Qi Gong. By the way, fortunately, some Qi Gong researchers hold a meeting and a short training course for sound Qi Gong, supplyment. Also in the medicine·traditional medicine parts, to have some interests of Qi Gong gradually as regarded as desirable things for Qi Gong development. Through these Qi Gong Research, anticipating effects in the academic department of physical education are as follows. First, probability to explore prevention and remedy effects, and improvement of performance ability through the anxiety and stress relation in the academic department of physical education. Second, the enlargement of Research domains of sport psychology; reviews to explore a access probability about therapeutic research of mental disease or nervous disease. Conclusively, with viewing to international trends about Qi Gong research, Korea also have to be carried out systematic researches that consider both theoretical parts(academic dimensions) and healthy parts(medical dimensions).

      • 국선도 단전호흡수련이 불안·심박수에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Kuk Sun Do Don-jeon breathing upon anxiety, heart rate. We have tried to organized the dissertation to provide the basic materials for the applications of Kuk Sun Do Don-jeon breathing to the sorts and therapeutic situations. We applied P' university students(females:13), which were randomly divided into experimental groups and control groups, over eleven weeks(one hour and five times a week) to Kuk Sun Do Don-jeon breathing and finally We got the following results 1. Trait anxiety were significantly reduced by Kuk Sun Do Don-jeon breathing training. 2. Heart Rate was significantly reduced by Kuk Sun Do Don-jeon breathing training.

        solitary wave가 일정한 수심의 수조의 가운데 설치한 사각형의 well을 지날 때 나타나는 변화를 well의 깊이와 길이를 변화시켜 가면서 실험을 통하여 알아보았다. 반사파의 진폭은 well의 길이가 커질수록 증가하였으며 투과파의 1차파는 증가하다가 감소하는 경향을 보여주었고 2차파는 감소하다가 약간 증가하는 경향을 보여 주었다. The transformation and fission of a solitary wave over a square well have been studied experimentally in a relatively small water channel with 1070×30×48cm dimension. The amplitude of a reflected wave at the well boundary increases with the increasing of the well length. When a solitary wave has passed over a well, the wave was divided into a series of waves of decreasing amplitude. The amplitude of first transmitted wave increases a little ad then decreases, while that of the second shows decease followed by a slight increase.
