The North Korean Army imitated the Soviet Union Military system from its origin. Accordingly, North Korean Army adopted the political system in the Army which is peculiar to Communist Nations. The aim of this thesis is to study the North Korean Army & its leaders' political influence. For the purpose of this aim, the scope of the study is consisted of the historical background of the North Korean Army, its characters, the Military system of North Korea, the control of Party over the Military & the political influence of the North Korean Army leaders. as the North Korean Army imitated the Soviet Union Army model, the Military system & organization of North Korea are almost similar to the Soviet Union Army. Thus all of the Military system of North Korea was developed in the style of the Soviet Union Army. But the North Korean Army gained its peculiar characteristics during its development period. Its peculiar characteristics are like these 1. The North Korean Army has the character of revolution. 2. North Korea is the most highly militalized Socity under the Kim Il-Sung's dictatorship. 3. North Korea cognizes that war is the succession of politics by forced means. 4. The North Korean Army is politicized. As the Korean Workers' party constitution stipulates clearly the North Korean Army is the armed forces of the Party. It is impossible, of course, to separate political training from the basic political system that prevails in North Korea And it must be made clear that the North Korean Army is an instrument of the Party, not the Government. How does the Party maintain its control over the Army? The Party Constitution as amended in Nov. 1970 by the Fifth Workders' Party Congress provides that the military services shall have a overall Party Committee which answers directly to KWP Central Committee. Under this Party Constitution Party Committees exist in the Army Corps, division, & regiment levels. At the battalion level, a primary Party Organization exists. In this way the Party thoroughly penetrates ever branch of the Army-the Military, the Navy & the Air Force. Political Bureaus exist in the Army Corps & division levels under a political Vice-Commander. Political Officers exist at regiment, battalion & company level, These political officers are the key elements in the operation of this military system at all levels. They have the responsibility for the ideological training of all the troops under their jurisdiction & the Supervision of all Party activities in the Army. They personally gives political lectures to the troops under their jurisdiction. And they also guide the activities of the Socialist Working Youth League in their Unit. The Military constitutes a truly formidable proportion of the top party structure. its role, moreover, has all the greater potential because of the almost total absence of private pressure groups in North Korea, that is the most highly militalized society under the Kim Il-Sung's dictatorship. The North Korean Army is not an instrument of the Government, but of the Party.

He went around over one hundred countries for seventeen years. His miraculous story carried down for long time. Yuan Zaju 「Journey to the West」 was created at these foundation. Tang Seng is hero in Yuan Zaju 「Journey to the West」. In this drama Tang Seng play double roles. One is mythical and heroic character. The other is humouros and common character. In this drama birth of Tang Seng is very mythical. Tang Seng in one month is swept away in river. He is saved by another monk. Because of this the image of Tang Seng is filled with myth and hero. On the other hand in this drama Tang Seng has humorous and common character. In this drama one common country woman sneer Tang Seng. In this point Tang Seng is target of ridicule and satire. Also Tang Seng way to the west is kidnaped by monster. In this point Tang Seng is an incompetent man. In this drama Tang Seng play double roles. Double roles conflict each other. what element produced these opposed two characters? This is antinomy. Unity of Three Religion is significant element. At that time Unity of Three Religion is general tendency. Yuan Zaju 「Journey to the West」 is influenced by the Unity of Three Religion. Addedly the writer of Yuan Zaju 「Journey to the West」 concerned in stage effect.
