Acidovorax citrulli (Ac) is a phytopathogenic bacterium that causes bacterial fruit blotch (BFB) in cucurbit crops, including watermelon. However, there are no effective methods to control this disease. YggS family pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme acts as a coen-zyme in all transamination reactions, but its function in Ac is poorly understood. Therefore, this study uses proteomic and phenotypic analyses to characterize the functions. The Ac strain lacking the YggS family pyri-doxal phosphate-dependent enzyme, AcΔyppAc(EV), virulence was wholly eradicated in geminated seed inoculation and leaf infiltration. AcΔyppAc(EV) propa-gation was inhibited when exposed to L-homoserine but not pyridoxine. Wild-type and mutant growth were comparable in the liquid media but not in the solid media in the minimal condition. The comparative proteomic analysis revealed that YppAc is primarily involved in cell motility and wall/membrane/envelop biogenesis. In addition, AcΔyppAc(EV) reduced biofilm formation and twitching halo production, indicating that YppAc is involved in various cellular mechanisms and possesses pleiotropic effects. Therefore, this identi-fied protein is a potential target for developing an effi-cient anti-virulence reagent to control BFB.
Effect of the Ag thickness on the Light Extraction Efficiency of the OLED with an ITO/Ag/ITO Anode
Yongmin Jeon,Eou-Sik Cho,Sang Jik Kwon 대한전자공학회 2022 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.22 No.5
The light extraction efficiency of the organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) with an ITO/Ag/ITO anode was analyzed by using the finite-difference time domain (FDTD) simulation method. For different inserted Ag thickness, the light extraction ratio was reduced as increasing the Ag thickness. The simulation results also showed the light extraction ratio began to be saturated at a critical angle as increasing the simulation monitor num as a result of the extraction loss due to the wave-guide mode by a total internal reflection. From the simulated electric field profiles, the light-outcoupling loss due to the surface plasmon polariton (SPP) mode was more apparently investigated as increasing the Ag thickness. In the fabrication of the OLED with ITO/Ag/ITO anode, the Ag thickness should be optimized with respect to the light extraction efficiency of the OLED as well as the electrical conductivity of the anode.

In this paper, with the diagnosis of progress, we studied the effect of adhesive amounts and warp conditions for improvement of the compression strength in corrugated packaging case. The result of the study on compression strength according to functional speed and adhesive amounts by adjustment of applicator roll and doctor roll gap in gluer shown the effect that compression strength increased about 2.2% and adhesive strength increased about 1.6% when gap was adjusted to 0.2 which is used to 0.17 in production of double wall corrugated fiberboard container. And study in compression strength by the conditions of warp in corrugated fiberboard shown that downer warp condition was higher than upper warp condition. In the linerboards. it is possible assuming that lower basis weight corrugated midium(S base sheet) is weaker in compression strength by warp but this is because of the difference of shape condition between wire-side and felt-side.

조용민,송주완,김진무 한국공업화학회 2003 응용화학 Vol.7 No.2
This study carried out the property of linerboards and defining the condition of production by describe the effect of temperature, moisture and rentention time in corrugator for making the MICROFLUTE(M/F) corrugated board with linerboards which is commercial in national and international market. The most efficient condition was 160℃ of temperature, 30% of moisture content in linerboards and 60 second of retention time and draw factor of linerboards increased with increasing of draw factor of the most efficient microflute(F-flute) condition and temperature. Also draw factor of linderboards was more excellent in lower basis weight of linerboard and draw factor of commercial kraft) board(78-98g/㎡) was better than nationally commercial linerboards(S 120g/㎡), B 150g/㎡). In M/F corrugating, the best result of length, thickness, basis weight and draw factor was gained in CD direction of kraft paper with 75g/㎡ of basis weight with having regard to wire/felt-side, MD/CD directions. basis weight of commercial kraft.

<P>Electrochemical properties of redox proteins, which can cause the reversible changes in the resistance according to their redox reactions in solution, are of the fundamental and practical importance in bioelectrochemical applications. These redox properties often depend on the chemical activity of transition metal ions as cofactors within the active sites of proteins. Here, we demonstrate for the first time that the reversible resistance changes in dried protein films based on ferritin nanoparticles can be caused by the externally applied voltage as a result of charge trap/release of FeIII/FeII redox couples. We also show that one ferritin nanoparticle of about 12 nm size can be operated as a nanoscale-memory device, and furthermore the layer-by-layer assembled protein multilayer devices can be extended to bioinspired electronics with adjustable memory performance <I>via</I> molecular level manipulation.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/ancac3/2011/ancac3.2011.5.issue-12/nn2036939/production/images/medium/nn-2011-036939_0009.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/nn2036939'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
Design and Methods of the Mood Disorder Cohort Research Consortium (MDCRC) Study
ChulHyun Cho,YongMin Ahn,SeJoo Kim,TaeHyun Ha,HongJin Jeon,Boseok Cha,Eunsoo Moon,DongYeon Park,JiHyun Baek,HeeJu Kang,Vin Ryu,Hyonggin An,HeonJeong Lee 대한신경정신의학회 2017 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.14 No.1
The Mood Disorder Cohort Research Consortium (MDCRC) study is designed as a naturalistic observational prospective cohort study for early-onset mood disorders (major depressive disorders, bipolar disorders type 1 and 2) in South Korea. The study subjects consist of two populations: 1) patients with mood disorders under 25 years old and 2) patients with mood disorders within 2 years of treatment under 35 years old. After successful screening, the subjects are evaluated using baseline assessments and serial follow-up assessments at 3-month intervals. Between the follow-up assessments, subjects are dictated to check their own daily mood status before bedtime using the eMood chart application or a paper mood diary. At the regular visits every 3 months, inter-visit assessments are evaluated based on daily mood charts and interviews with patients. In addition to the daily mood chart, sleep quality, inter-visit major and minor mood episodes, stressful life events, and medical usage pattern with medical expenses are also assessed. Genomic DNA from blood is obtained for genomic analyses. From the MDCRC study, the clinical course, prognosis, and related factors of early-onset mood disorders can be clarified. The MDCRC is also able to facilitate translational research for mood disorders and provide a resource for the convergence study of mood disorders.
