        Molecular and phylogenetic analysis of Anaplasma spp. in sheep and goats from six provinces of China

        Members of the genus Anaplasma are important emerging tick-borne pathogens in both humans and animals in tropical and subtropical areas. Here, we investigated the presence of Anaplasma spp. in 621 sheep and 710 goats from six provinces of China. Polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and DNA sequencing were conducted to determine the prevalence of Anaplasma (A.) phagocytophilum, A. ovis and A. bovis targetingthe 16S ribosomal RNA or the major surface protein 4 gene. PCR revealed Anaplasma in 39.0% (240/621) of sheep and 45.5% (323/710)of goats. The most frequently detected species was A. ovis (88/621, 14.2% for sheep; 129/710, 18.2% for goats), followed by A. bovis (60/621,9.7% for sheep; 74/710, 10.4% for goats) and A. phagocytophilum (33/621, 5.3% for sheep; 15/710, 2.1% for goats). Additionally, eight sheepand 20 goats were found to be infected with three pathogens simultaneously. DNA sequencing confirmed the presence of these three Anaplasmaspecies in the investigated areas, and phylogenetic analysis indicated that there was geographic segregation to a certain extent, as well as arelationship between the host and cluster of A. ovis. The results of the present study provide valuable data that helps understand theepidemiology of anaplasmosis in ruminants from China.

      • Path Planning Algorithm based on Partially POMDP Model

        To address the problem that reactive navigation is prone to local optimality under uncertain and complex environments, a POMDP-based global path planning algorithm is proposed for mobile robots. A 6-tuple model is constructed for path planning under complex dynamic environments, and the global optimality is realizes by maximizing the accumulative reward function. State transition function and observation function are used to handle unknown obstacles and noisy perception by modeling the error probability. Belief state space is introduced, and a value iteration algorithm using point-based policy treepruning is developed to solve for real time planning policy, which effectively reduces the computational complexity. Simulation results show that using this algorithm the robot can automatically adapt to different probing granularities, avoid obstacles under complex uncertain environments, and achieve the optimal paths.

        성인초기 중국소비자의 소비가치, 상표충성도와 다양성추구성향이 한국제품 해외직구의도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of socio-demographic characteristics, consumption value, brand loyalty, and diversity seeking of young adult Chinese consumers on overseas direct purchase intention of Korean products. For this purpose, a total of 565 questionaries were used as the final analysis data. Using the SPSS 18.0 program, Chronbach's α coefficient, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis and path analysis were performed. The result of the study can be summarized as follows. First, the influence of socio-demographic variables on the consumption value of Chinese consumers was found to be significant variable of occupation(student), age, and monthly income. Second, the influence of socio-demographic variables and consumption values ​ ​ on brand loyalty showed that the gender (male), occupation(student), utility value, hedonic value had a meaningful statical effect. Utility value and hedonic value has been shown to influence the seeking of diversity. Third, as a result of socio-demographic variables, consumption value, brand loyalty, and diversity seeking on purchase intention, monthly average personal expenditure, hedonic value, brand loyalty, diversity seeking have a significant effect on overseas direct purchase intention Respectively. The lower the monthly average personal expenditure, the higher the level of hedonic value, the higher the level of brand loyalty, the higher the level of diversity seeking, it can be seen that the overseas purchase intention of Korean products is high. Fourth, utility value showed a significant correlation with purchasing intention but other variables were controlled direct effects were not significant, but indirect effects were found to be mediated through brand loyalty and consumption characteristics of seeking diversity, but not significant. The hedonic value is highly correlated with the purchase intention, and the direct effect is very large when the other variables are controlled, and the indirect effect of each consumption styles is also significant. 본 연구는 해외직구 경험이 있는 성인초기단계 중국소비자를 대상으로 그들의 소비가치와 상표충성도, 다양성 추구성향을 살펴보고, 이러한 요인이 한국제품 해외직구의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 연 구변인의 척도를 구성하여 예비조사를 실시한 후 2018년 6월 중국 하남성 거주 성인초기에 해당하는 39세 이하 소비자를 대상으로 온라인조사를 실시하였다. 총 565부의 자료를 사용하여 Pearson의 적률상관분석, 중다회귀 분석, 경로분석을 실시하였다. 주요결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인초기 중국소비자의 효용적 소비가치는 중간점수보다 약간 높게 나타났고, 쾌락적 소비가치는 중간정 도였다. 상표충성도는 중간점수보다 약간 높게 나타났고, 다양성추구성향은 중간 정도의 경향을 보였다. 구매의 도는 중간정도의 점수이었다. 둘째, 사회인구학적변인, 소비가치와 상표충성도, 다양성추구성향이 한국제품의 해외직구의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 월평균 개인지출액이 적을수록, 쾌락적 소비가치가 높을수록, 상표충성도가 높을수록, 다양성추구성 향이 높을수록 해외직구를 통한 한국제품 구매의도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 사회인구학적변인, 소비가치, 상표충성도, 다양성추구성향이 한국제품 해외직구의도에 미치는 직접효과뿐 아니라 간접효과와 비인과적 효과를 알아보기 위해 경로분석을 실시한 결과 구매의도의 총체적 효과는 사회인구 학적변인에서 직업(학생)과 연령만이 유의한 변인이었으며, 소비가치 가운데 효용적 소비가치는 구매의도와 유의 한 상관관계를 보였으나 다른 변인들을 통제한 상태에서 직접효과는 유의하지 않았으며, 상표 충성도와 다양성추 구성향을 매개로한 간접효과의 경로가 발견되었으나 유의한 수준은 아니었다. 쾌락적 소비가치는 구매의도와 상 관이 매우 높으며 다른 변인을 통제한 상태에서의 직접효과가 매우 크며 각 소비유형을 통한 간접적인 영향도 유 의할만한 수준이었다. 구매의도에 대해 소비가치 가운데 효용적 소비가치와 쾌락적 소비가치는 각 소비유형을 통 한 간접적인 영향의 경로 발견되었으며 효용적 소비가치와 쾌락적 소비가치가 긍정적일수록 상표충성도와 다양성 추구성향이 높으며 이는 높은 구매의도로 이어지는 것이다.

        Mechanical Heterogeneity of Heat-Resistant EV31A Magnesium Alloy with Large Size Processed by Direct-Chill Casting

        High quality of large-sized EV31A benchmark alloy was fabricated by direct-chill casting, without significant composition segregation along its radial direction. As-cast samples show noticeable mechanical heterogeneity, such as strength decreasing but ductility increasing from the surface to the center positions of the ingot. After heat treatment, however, mechanical properties of the alloy are nearly the same in each position, indicating mechanical homogeneity, which is mainly attributed to the strengthening mechanism transition from grain-boundary hardening in as-cast samples to precipitation hardening in peak-aged samples. In addition, we found that solute hardening is the athermal strengthening which contributes more to high-temperature strength than precipitation hardening, as evidenced by lower strength loss from 25 to 250 °C in T4-treated sample than in peak-aged sample. Solute hardening effect is thermally stable and extends to high temperatures, which favors the retention of linear strain hardening by retarding dynamic recovery. This work thus provides new insight into designing heat-resistant Mg alloys and understanding mechanical heterogeneity of large-scale Mg alloy ingots.

        Convective Heat Transfer Coeicient Model Under Nanoluid Minimum Quantity Lubrication Coupled with Cryogenic Air Grinding Ti–6Al–4V

        Under the threat of serious environmental pollution and resource waste, sustainable development and green manufacturing have gradually become a new development trend. A new environmentally sustainable approach, namely, cryogenic air nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication (CNMQL), is proposed considering the unfavorable lubricating characteristic of cryogenic air (CA) and the deficient cooling performance of minimum quantity lubrication (MQL). However, the heat transfer mechanism of vortex tube cold air fraction by CNMQL remains unclear. The cold air fraction of vortex tubes influences the boiling heat transfer state and cooling heat transfer performance of nanofluids during the grinding process. Thus, a convective heat transfer coefficient model was established based on the theory of boiling heat transfer and conduction, and the numerical simulation of finite difference and temperature field in the grinding zone under different vortex tube cold air fractions was conducted. Simulation results demonstrated that the highest temperature initially declines and then rises with increasing cold air fraction. Afterward, this temperature reaches the lowest peak (192.7 °C) when the cold air fraction is 0.35. Experimental verification was conducted with Ti–6Al–4V to verify the convective heat transfer coefficient model. The results concluded that the low specific grinding energy (66.03 J/mm 3 ), high viscosity (267.8 cP), and large contact angle (54.01°) of nanofluids were obtained when the cold air fraction was 0.35. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature of the grinding zone was obtained (183.9 °C). Furthermore, the experimental results were consistent with the theoretical analysis, thereby verifying the reliability of the simulation model.

        Design and Application of Hierarchical Multi-objective Predictive Control for Continuous Flow Stirred Tank Reactor

        In order to deal with various control objectives in process, such as economic and regulating preferences, the multi-objective predictive control (MOPC) is under investigation in this manuscript. The proposed method has the hierarchical structure: in the upper layer fuzzy control is devised for the compromise point of the process under multi-objective consideration at steady-state, which provides stability constraint for the MOPC; the formulated MOPC in the lower layer directly optimizes distance to the utopia point. The proposed fuzzy control based multiobjective predictive control can simultaneously reduce the computation burden and increase the multi-objective performance. Effectiveness and merits are verified on the typical continuous flow stirred-tank reactor process.

        ROCK1 induces dopaminergic nerve cell apoptosis via the activation of Drp1-mediated aberrant mitochondrial fission in Parkinson’s disease

        Dopamine deficiency is mainly caused by apoptosis of dopaminergic nerve cells in the substantia nigra of themidbrain and the striatum and is an important pathologic basis of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Recent research has shownthat dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1)-mediated aberrant mitochondrial fission plays a crucial role in dopaminergicnerve cell apoptosis. However, the upstream regulatory mechanism remains unclear. Our study showed that Drp1knockdown inhibited aberrant mitochondrial fission and apoptosis. Importantly, we found that ROCK1 was activated inan MPP+-induced PD cell model and that ROCK1 knockdown and the specific ROCK1 activation inhibitor Y-27632blocked Drp1-mediated aberrant mitochondrial fission and apoptosis of dopaminergic nerve cells by suppressing Drp1dephosphorylation/activation. Our in vivo study confirmed that Y-27632 significantly improved symptoms in a PDmouse model by inhibiting Drp1-mediated aberrant mitochondrial fission and apoptosis. Collectively, our findingssuggest an important molecular mechanism of PD pathogenesis involving ROCK1-regulated dopaminergic nerve cellapoptosis via the activation of Drp1-induced aberrant mitochondrial fission.

        Insight on the microbial activity and microbiome in partial nitrification systems: CuO nanoparticles impact under different pH levels

        In this study, the effect of CuO nanoparticles (NPs) on partial nitrification (PN) process was investigated at various pH values. The short- and long-term experiments were carried out in six identical reactors, with or without CuO NPs, at pH values of 6.5, 8.0 and 10.0. The ammonia oxidation, reaction rates, copper content, and the microbial community were investigated. The results of this work suggested that CuO NPs inhibited the ammonia oxidation by aerobic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB), under both the acid and alkali conditions. AOB could resist the acid condition but was significantly suppressed when CuO NPs was fed, and the low pH did not aggravate the inhibition level. Almost all the bacteria lost bioactivity under the pH as 10.0, while anaerobic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria survived. The acid condition increased the Nitrosomonas relative abundance while the alkali condition lowered it. More than 60% of the supplied CuO NPs was discharged via effluent.

        Service recovery is an important way for businesses to recover consumers, and consumer forgiveness is an important indicator of customer retention. Based on the background of service failure in online shopping, this paper explores the relationship between service recovery, consumer self-esteem, and consumer forgiveness from the perspective of consumer psychology. It also explores the moderating role of consumer rationalism between self-esteem and consumer forgiveness. Empirical results show that intangible recovery strategies can increase consumers’ self-esteem and, in turn, consumer forgiveness. Consumer’s level of lay rationalism moderates the relationship between self-esteem and consumer forgiveness; the higher consumer’s lay rationalism, the weaker the relationship.

        The Effects of Perceived Brand Globalness and Perceived Brand Localness on Chinese Consumer Purchase Intention: The Moderating Role of Consumer Ethnocentrism

        본 눈문은 지각된 브랜드 글로벌성과 지역성이 중국 소비자들의 구매 의향 에 대해서 알아보았다. PBG, PBL와 구매의도의 관계를 브랜드 정체성 표현(BIE)과 브랜드 명성(PBP)의 매개효과를 통해 분석하는 데 있다. 또한 소비자의 자민족중심성향 이 조절속 에서 지각된 브랜드 글로벌성(PBG), 지각된 브랜드 지역성(PBL)과 브랜드 정체성 표현 (BIE) 및 인지 된 브랜드 명성 (PBP)에 미치는 조절 효과를 바탕으로 연구하였다. 분석 결과는 지각하는 브랜드 글로벌성과 지역성이 브랜드 정체성 표현 및 인지 된 브랜드 명성에 대해 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 브랜드 정체성 표현 및 인지 된 브랜드 명성은 구매 의도에 긍정적 인 영향을 미칩니다. 자민족 중심이 높은 소비자들은 브랜드 정체성 표현의 유추와 PBG와 관련하여 인지 된 브랜드 명성이 상대적으로 약하기 때문에 외국 상품 구매 경향이 적습니다. 반대로, 민족 중심이 높은 소비자들은 지역 상품을 구매하는 경향이 더 큽니다. The purpose of this article is to study the effect of perceived brand globalness (PBG) and perceived brand localness (PBL) on Chinese consumers purchase intention (PI) and the mediating role of brand identity expression (BIE) and perceived brand prestige (PBP). This article also studies the moderating role of consumer ethnocentrism in the relationship between PBG, PBL, and BIE, PBP. The results indicated that PBG, PBL positively impacts consumers’ perception of brand identity expressiveness. Brand identity expressiveness and perceived brand prestige have a positive direct impact on purchase intention. high ethnocentric consumers are less inclined to purchase foreign goods because their inference of brand identity expressiveness, and perceived brand prestige associated with PBG is relatively weak. On the contrary, high ethnocentric consumers are more inclined to purchase local goods. this is consistent with the knowledge that a local brand that is successful abroad inspires pride and is respected by local consumers.
