Guaranteed Cost Control Based on Uncertain Fuzzy Systems of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

This paper deals with the chaos phenomenon of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model of PMSM chaos system is built. Based on the fuzzy Lyapunov function approach, a robust optimal guaranteed cost controller is designed in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Thus the chaos of PMSM with parametric uncertainties is eliminated. The simulation result shows that the robust control system adopting the designed method has good performance and robust capability. And the efficiency of fuzzy Lyapunov stability theory is also illustrated.
Stochastic Stability of the Improved Maximum Correntropy Kalman Filter Against Non-Gaussian Noises

In this paper, an improved maximum correntropy Kalman filter (IMCKF) algorithm is proposed to enhance the estimation accuracy of conventional correntropy based Kalman filter against the non-Gaussian noise. Toincrease the proposed algorithm estimation precision, a novel cost function is introduced based on weighted factors. Then the IMCKF algorithm is put forward and derived in detail. Furthermore, the stochastic boundness of theestimation error is discussed to illustrate the IMCKF algorithm’s stability. Finally, simulation results demonstratethat the proposed IMCKF algorithm increases the estimation precision and robustness performance in contrast tothe conventional Gaussian Sum Kalman filter and maximum correntropy Kalman filter.

A one-step high-temperature solvothermal approach to the synthesis of monolayer or bilayer MoS2 anchored onto reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheet (denoted as MoS2/RGO) is described. It was found that single-layered or double-layered MoS2 were synthesized directly without an extra exfoliation step and well dispersed on the surface of crumpled RGO sheets with random orientation. The prepared MoS2/RGO composites delivered a high reversible capacity of 900 mAhg -1 after 200 cycles at a current density of 200 mAg -1 as well as good rate capability as anode active material for lithium ion batteries. This one-step high-temperature hydrothermal strategy provides a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly way to the fabrication of exfoliated MoS2 layers deposited onto RGO sheets.

Spermidine (Spd) acts as a plant protectant under salinity stress. The objective of this study was to determine whether exogenous Spd pre-treatment could improve the salinity tolerance of Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L.). Exogenous Spd was applied before the grass was exposed to 200 mM sodium chloride (NaCl) for 28 d in the growth chamber. Salinity stress decreased chlorophyll (Chl) content, K+/Na+ratio and K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+ contents, and increased electrolyte leakage (EL), proline, Na+, putrescine (Put), Spd and Spermine (Spm) levels and the activities of arginine decarboxylase (ADC), ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase (SAMDC) and polyamine oxidase (PAO). Pre-treatment with 1 mM Spd effectively alleviated the decline of Chl content, K+/Na+ratio and K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+ contents under salinity stress conditions. Spd pre-treatment also reduced EL, Na+ content, Put levels and the activities of ADC and PAO, but increased proline content, endogenous Spd and Spm levels and the activities of ODC and SAMDC upon salinity stress. These results indicate that exogenous Spd pre-treatment could enhance salinity tolerance by increasing proline levels and regulating ion and polyamine metabolism.

This paper investigates the problem of global stabilization by output-feedback for a class of planar nonlinear systems with unknown time-delay and control coefficients. Compared with the closely related works, the highlight of the paper is that it is not required that the upper and lower bounds of unknown control coefficients are known a prior, and meanwhile, the derivative of unknown time-varying time-delay is also not required to have known upper bound. This makes the problem essentially different, and much more difficult to solve. Motivated by our recent works, by combining the method of universal control with backstepping technique, and skillfully constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasoviskii functional, we design a new adaptive stabilizing controller with the suitable design parameters which guarantees that the resulting closed-loop system state is globally bounded while the state of the original system converges to the origin after a finite time. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
Microarray Study of Genes Differentially Modulated in Response to Nitric Oxide in Macrophages

Nitric oxide (NO) has been known to playimportant roles in numerous physiologic processes includingUsing a mouse cDNA gene chip, we examined expressionpatterns and time course of NO-dependent genes in mousemacrophage RAW264.7 cells. Genes shown to be up-regulated more than two fold or at least at two serial timepoints were further selected and validated by RT-PCR.Finally, 81 selected genes were classified by function assignaling, apoptosis, inflammation, transcription, translation,ionic homeostasis and metabolism. Among those, genesrelated with signaling, apoptosis and inflammation, such asguanylate cyclase 1, soluble, alpha3 (Gucy1a3 ); proteinkinase C, alpha (Pkcα(Lck); BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa-interacting protein(Bnip3); apoptotic protease activating factor 1 (Apaf1); X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis (Xiap); cyclin G1 (Ccng1);chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 4 (Ccl4); B cell translocationgene 2, anti-proliferative (Btg2); lysozyme 2 (Lyz2); secretedphosphoprotein 1 (Spp1); heme oxygenase (decycling) 1(Hmox1); CD14 antigen (Cd14); and granulin (Grn) mayplay important roles in NO-dependent responses in murinemacrophages.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small, non-coding single-stranded RNAs that suppress protein expression by binding to the 3′ untranslated regions of their target genes. Many studies have shown that miRNAs have important roles in congenital heart diseases (CHDs) by regulating gene expression and signaling pathways. We previously found that miR-30c was highly expressed in the heart tissues of aborted embryos with ventricular septal defects. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the effects of miR-30c in CHDs. miR-30c was overexpressed or knocked down in P19 cells, a myocardial cell model that is widely used to study cardiogenesis. We found that miR-30c overexpression not only increased cell proliferation by promoting cell entry into S phase but also suppressed cell apoptosis. In addition, we found that miR-30c inhibited dimethyl sulfoxide-induced differentiation of P19 cells. miR-30c knockdown, in contrast, inhibited cell proliferation and increased apoptosis and differentiation. The Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling pathway is essential for normal embryonic development. Western blotting and luciferase assays revealed that Gli2, a transcriptional factor that has essential roles in the Shh signaling pathway, was a potential target gene of miR-30c. Ptch1, another important player in the Shh signaling pathway and a transcriptional target of Gli2, was downregulated by miR-30c overexpression and upregulated by miR-30c knockdown. Collectively, our study revealed that miR-30c suppressed P19 cell differentiation by inhibiting the Shh signaling pathway and altered the balance between cell proliferation and apoptosis, which may result in embryonic cardiac malfunctions.
한국 창작뮤지컬의 중국 내 수용에 관한 연구 -뮤지컬 「김종욱 찾기」를 중심으로-

본 연구는 중국 내 수용된 한국 창작뮤지컬의 수용현황을 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국 작품으로서는 최초로 논-레플리카(Non-replica) 방식 즉 라이선스 형태로 중국에 수용된 작품인 창작 뮤지컬 「김종욱 찾기」의 대본에 대한 분석, 작품이 중국에 수용되면서 변화한 부분, 그리고 중국 내에서의 수용현황 및 의의를 고찰하였다. 본 연구는 중국 내 한국 창작뮤지컬의 수용 특성 및 의미를 고찰함으로써 한국 창작뮤지컬의 성공적인 중국 수용 원인을 외적인 요인과 내적인 요인으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 특히 외적인 원인 부분에서는 한국 문화가 동아시아 문화권의 ‘동질성’을 바탕으로 중국 대중에게 친숙하게 다가간다는 측면, 그리고 한국 문화가 동아시아 내의 ‘중심지’로서 서양 뮤지컬과는 또 다른 방식으로 뮤지컬 산업의 거점을 형성하고 있다는 점을 분석하였다. 한국 창작뮤지컬이 중국 뮤지컬 시장에 미친 영향을 통해 결과적으로 중국에 수용된 한국 창작뮤지컬이 중국의 뮤지컬 산업에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 제시하였다. This study aims to consider the present state of Korean creative musical accepted in China. For this purpose, this study analyzed the script of Finding Kim Jong-wook, which was the first Korean creative musical accepted in China in the form of non-replica, namely, in the form of a license agreement, changes when this work was accepted in China, and the present state of acceptance in China and its significance.This study classified successful acceptance factors of Korean creative musical in China into external factors and internal factors by analyzing acceptance characteristics and meanings of Korean creative musical in China. Especially, in terms of external factors, the analysis result revealed that Korean culture has been approaching the Chinese public in a familiar way, based on ‘homogeneity’ of the East Asian cultural sphere and has been forming a stronghold of the musical industry in a different way from Western musicals, as a ‘center’ in East Asia. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that the Korean creative musical accepted in China is having positive influence on the Chinese musical industry.
