        나노구조 분석을 위한 하나로 40m 소각중성자산란장치 개발

        소각중성자산란 (Small-angle neutron scattering, SANS)은 물질의 내부 나노구조 분석에 매우 중요한 실험방법론이다. 본 논문에서는 30MW HANARO 연구용 원자로의 냉중성자 연구시설에 설치하기 위하여 한국과학기술원과 한국원자력연구소가 공동으로 개발 중인 40m SANS장치의 개념설계 결과를 보고한다. 장치의 설계 최적화를 위한 전산모사를 수행하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 40m SANS 장치의 주요설계 인자를 결정하였다. 40m SANS 장치의 가능한 Q-range는 $0.0005\;\AA^{-1}-1.0\AA^{-1}$ 이며, 이는 세계 최고 수준의 SANS Q-range에 해당된다. 각 Q-range에 따른 시료위치에서의 중성자 속을 계산하였으며 전산모사에 사용된 냉중성자원이 구현될 시 세계적 수준의 값을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) is a very powerful techniques for nanostructure characterization. In this paper, we report the conceptual design and technical description of the 40 in small angle neutron scattering (SANS) insoument which is being developed by KAIST and KAERI for installation at 30 MW HANARO research reactor. For the optimal design of 40 m SANS, a series of computer simulation were pe.to.mod. The Q-.ange of the 40m SANS inst.ument is $0.0005\;\AA^{-1}-1.0\AA^{-1}$ which is a world top-class SANS Q-range. When the cold neutron spectrum used in the simulation is realized, the neutron flux at sample position is expected to be comparable to the current state-of-art SANS instrument in the world.

        치과용 지르코니아 블럭의 착색시간에 따른 색조변화 관찰

        Purpose: The current study focused on investigating color change of dental zirconia block with respect to the block coloring time. Methods: Three types of dental zirconia blocks(Zirtooth, Pearl-HT, D-Max) were tinted with coloring agent under four different time condition (0 minutes, 1 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes). The quantitative evaluation of the tinted dental zirconia blocks was conducted with spectrophotometer. Results: The Zirtooth and D-Max blocks showed lower H value. The Pearl-HT blocks showed poor reflectivity(L value). Conclusion: The study of color change of zirconia block, which consists the substructure of all ceramic Crown, is applicable for deciding appropriate coloring condition when fabricating one layer ceramic Crown or double layer ceramic Crown.

        네트워크 코딩의 병렬처리 성능비교

        네트워크 코딩(Network Coding)은 통신망의 성능 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있으나 이의 소프트웨어적 구현은 부호화/복호화 단계에서 매우 큰 지연시간을 유발할 수 있어 이를 줄일 수 있는 병렬화된 구현이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 랜덤 리니어 네트워크 코딩(Random Linear Network Coding)과 랜덤 리니어 네트워크 코딩의 단점을 보완하고자 최근 제안된 파이프라인 네트워크 코딩(Pipeline Network Coding)의 병렬처리 성능을 비교한다. 또한, 네트워크 코딩의 CPU에서의 병렬처리 기법과 GPGPU(General Purpose Graphics Processing Units)에서의 병렬처리 기법을 비교하여 네트워크 코딩의 사용 시 그 파라미터에 따라 적절한 병렬처리 기법을 선택할 필요성이 있음을 보여준다. Network coding has been shown to improve various performance metrics in network systems. However, if network coding is implemented as software a huge time delay may be incurred at encoding/decoding stage so it is imperative for network coding to be parallelized to reduce time delay when encoding/decoding. In this paper, we compare the performance of parallelized decoders for random linear network coding (RLC) and pipeline network coding (PNC), a recent development in order to alleviate problems of RLC. We also compare multi-threaded algorithms on multi-core CPUs and massively parallelized algorithms on GPGPU for PNC/RLC.

        수열법으로 성장한 ZnO Nanorod/ZnO/Si(100)의 특성

        Nanostructures of ZnO, such as nanowires, nanorods, nanorings, and nanobelts have been actively studied and applied in electronic or optical devices owing to the increased surface to volume ratio and quantum confinement that they provide. ZnO seed layer (about 40 nm thick) was deposited on Si(100) substrate by RF magnetron sputtering with power of 60 W for 5 min. ZnO nanorods were grown on ZnO seed layer/Si(100) substrate at $95^{\circ}C$ for 5 hr by hydrothermal method with concentrations of $Zn(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O$ [ZNH] and $(CH_2)_6N_4$ [HMT] precursors ranging from 0.02M to 0.1M. We observed the microstructure, crystal structure, and photoluminescence of the nanorods. The ZnO nanorods grew with hexahedron shape to the c-axis at (002), and increased their diameter and length with the increase of precursor concentration. In 0.06 M and 0.08 M precursors, the mean aspect ratio values of ZnO nanorods were 6.8 and 6.5; also, ZnO nanorods had good crystal quality. Near band edge emission (NBE) and a deep level emission (DLE) were observed in all ZnO nanorod samples. The highest peak of NBE and the lower DLE appeared in 0.06 M precursor; however, the highest peak of DLE and the lower peak of NBE appeared in the 0.02 M precursor. It is possible to explain these phenomena as results of the better crystal quality and homogeneous shape of the nanorods in the precursor solution of 0.06 M, and as resulting from the bed crystal quality and the formation of Zn vacancies in the nanorods due to the lack of $Zn^{++}$ in the 0.02 M precursor.

        The Narratology is a study for researching how the story is formed and delivered. Narrative is made of Character, Event and Setting. The author of a novel develops narrative by creating characters, describing settings and connecting events with written language. And by reading the written language, the reader of the novel can meet the created characters, imagine settings and recognize events. The ``Possible World`` is the place where the author and the reader encounters his own inner narrative. The concept of ``possible world`` has been developed continuatively in novel. And the modern literature theory has been moved from the author`s side to reader`s side. It must be the most important thing; the reader will sustain his or her reading behavior only when he or she feels strong reality or is immersed in the possible world. In the digital games, the possible world is represented in image. The player of the game should proceed the narrative of a game by his or her active behavior. Also, the player will sustain his/her behavior only with immersion or feeling reality. And the feeling of reality or immersion is based on objective sympathy and co-recognition. The possible world of digital games needs more objective representation than the possible world of novels. That`s why the possible world of digital games is based on sensible experiences. Players of digital game make narratives. Receivers of digital game narrative have taken on greater importance than receivers of novel narrative. Nowaday digital games do not imitate the real world but make a big impact on the real world.

        공동주택 옥상부의 비노출 방수공법 선정을 위한 가중치 결정 및 적용성 평가 연구

        Water leakage could be caused deterioration of environmental conditions, user condition, reduction of life span and long term safety in concrete structure. Many materials and construction method to repair on these problems have been developed, however, it is not proper to successful repair or raise problem of increasing repair cost. In this paper, we suggest varied test methods divided to appraisal for property of matter, construction, manufacturing, specification and maintenance. The present research involves the application of VE(Value Engineering). Theoretical analysis and review of the application method for each step of performing VE were carried out with regard to the roof part of building, in an effort to suggest a reasonable and effective decision making procedure that is required for the selection of proper waterproofing method, considering the aspects of both economical efficiency and function. In addition, hierarchical structuring and analysis were performed concerning the evaluation items that have been obtained by reviewing VE using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), in an attempt to determine weight based on the importance of the evaluation items. As a result, sheet-liquid combined waterproofing method was most advantageous after VE value evaluation by VE/RWLCC analysis on 8 different waterproofing methods.

        Development of Hybrid-FDM Process Using Automatic Tool Changer for Multi-Material Production and Post-Processing

        The purpose of this study is an attempt to improve the functionality of a conventional Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process using the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) to perform multimaterial production and post-processing. Hybrid-FDM means a fusion of an Additive Manufacturing process and grinding process using the ATC system. In order to enhance the potentiality of production capacity for multi-material fabrication and surface roughness improvement, two extrusion tools and one grinding tool system are suggested. A pneumatic chuck is attached on a moving platform in the XY axes plane and an extrusion head and grinding head are placed in a docking station, allowing for a quick changeover with each other. Therefore, the manufacturing lead time can be reduced efficiently for the fabrication of a product.

        대중 매체 텍스트의 리얼리티 문제 연구

        텔레비전은 기본적으로 ‘리얼리티’ 효과가 뛰어난 대중 매체이다. 텔레비전의 리얼리티는 테크놀로지에 의해서만 획득되었던 것은 아니다. 텔레비전과 같은 대중매체는 대중들이 실제의 삶에서 느끼는 감정과 이성적 체험을 재현하고 인식시킴으로써, 대중들에게 텍스트의 ‘리얼리티’를 안겨줄 수 있다. 최근 텔레비전 방송에서 인기를 끌고 있는 예능 프로그램들 가운데에는 ‘리얼 버라이어티’라 불리는 장르의 프로그램들이 있다. 그 가운데 〈무한도전〉은 가장 먼저 ‘리얼 버라이어티’를 표방했을 뿐만 아니라, 가장 다양한 방법으로 ‘리얼리티’를 확보하고 구성하고 있는 프로그램이다. 본고는 〈무한도전〉이라는 프로그램을 통해 대중매체 텍스트에서 리얼리티가 어떤 의미를 지니는지를 살펴보고, 실제 수용자들이 리얼리티를 느끼도록 만드는 세 가지 방법에 대해서 설명하였다. 첫째로는 매체를 감추고 현실을 투명하게 담아내는 방법이고, 두 번째로는 자기반영적으로 매체를 드러내는 방법을 활용하는 것이다. 마지막 세 번째는 현실세계를 향해 발언하고 풍자함으로써 현실을 재구성하는 방식이다. 이렇게 세 가지 방법을 활용하여 〈무한도전〉은 리얼리티를 다양하게 확보할 수 있었다. 지금까지 대중 매체의 리얼리티의 문제는 현실을 얼마나 흡사하게 모방하고 있느냐에 대한 논의에 그친 경우가 많았다. 하지만 회화 예술이나 문학예술의 리얼리티가 훨씬 복잡하고 다양한 방법으로 구성될 수 있음이 밝혀져 왔던 방식처럼, TV 프로그램과 같은 대중 매체 텍스트의 경우에도 리얼리티의 확보와 구성방식이 다차원적으로 나타날 수 있다는 점을 본 연구는 밝히고자 한 것이다. Naturally the television has great effect of ‘reality’ as mass-media. The ‘reality’ of TV is not only just a reflection or representation of ‘real life’ but also productive technology; TV can reconstruct and create the ‘real life’ ‘Real Variety’ is a sort of genre of TV programs. And also it is a sort of hybrid. First it shows public interest on TV’s intrinsic feature; entertainment. At the same time, ‘Real Variety’ has public concern about some narrative genre that puts emphasis upon ‘reality’. This study inspected some forms that construct and confirm ‘reality’ for TV text by means of 〈Infinite Challenge〉 in the spotlight. Fisrt, 〈Infinite Challenge〉 makes reality by catching and delivering people the reality that exists out of TV cameras. Second the reality can be guaranteed paradoxically by revealing intervention of production and editing. Third, realistic significance is emphasized by bald speaking and satire about real world. Modern narrative literature has developed on constant conflict between reality and fictitiousness, Mass-media text in TV also has the same conflict and more; conflict between public interest and commercial entertainment. 〈Infinite Challenge〉 is one of the weekend entertainment-in other words, most fictitious and commercial- programs. But its constant changes and variations shows us self-constructing reality and consideration for real world and public interest. The process of 〈Infinite Challenge〉’s development is another ‘reality show’ and ‘drama of growth’ in itself. And the growth is not over yet, Reality in narrative text should be inquired continually.
