We have encountered a rare case of symmetrical peripheral gangrene complicating Escherichia coli sepsis in a 47-years-old male. He was successfully treated with antibiotics, anticoagulants, and vasodilator. To our knowledge, this is the first report on symmetrical peripheral gangrene complicating E. coli sepsis in Korea.

본 논문에서는 비가시성을 개선시키기 위하여 새로운 워터마크를 삽입 방법을 제안하였다. 기존의 워터마킹 알고리듬에서 기본적으로 워터마크를 삽입하는 방법은 1+αi xi 같은 1차 방정식의 형태로 사용하였으나, 제안한 방법에서는 1+bxi+αxi2형태인 2차 방정식으로 확장하였다. 제안한 알고리듬과 기존의 알고리듬에 대한 성능을 평가하기 위해서 LENA, GOLDHILL, BARBARA, 및 MAN 영상을 사용하여 컴퓨터 모의실험을 행하였다. 모의실험 결과 정규화 된 유사도가 100 %일 때 원 영상과 워터마크가 삽입된 영상과의 PSNR을 비교한 결과 제안한 방법이 기존의 방법들 보다 모든 영상에서 비가시성이 매우 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다. We present digital watermarking using a new embedding watermark in order to improve the invisibility. Generally, embedding watermark used first equation form as 1+ αi xi but we extended second equation form as 1+ bxi+αxi2 in this paper. We performed a computer simulation in order to compare proposed method to other methods using LENA, GOLDHILL, BARBARA, and MAN images. In computer experiments, the proposed watermark algorithm was found to be more invisible than the conventional algorithms at 100% normalized similarity.

This paper presents the algorithm for the quantization noise reduction based on variable filter adaptive to edge signal in MPEG postprocessing system. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm was superior to the conventional algorithms as regards PSNR, which was improved by 0.04-0.20 ㏈, and the subjective image quality.
Salvage System Using Location Based Services

In the salvage area, the location of the incident vessel and diver to rescue the victim are very important. But there are no ways but to rely on the GPS satellites to obtain the location in the salvage sites. Because the positioning using GPS satellites has a measurement error of up to 50 meters caused by the status of the atmosphere, a new positioning method with more accuracy should be devised. So if studies on measuring the position of the ships and divers accurately in the sea are performed, it will be helpful in the field of the salvage positioning. In this paper, a high precision positioning system in salvage using DGPS signal through mobile broadcasting is proposed with positioning error of up to 1 meter.

This paper presents a watermarking method for copyright protection and illegal copy prevention of mobile 3D contents. The proposed method embeds copyright information and user's phone number into spatial domain and encryption domain of mobile animation data based on Buyer-Seller watermarking protocol. Furthermore, we insert user's operation key so that only authorized user can play 3D animation game in mobile device.

<P>This paper presents a watermarking method for the copyright protection and the prevention of illegal copying of mobile 3D contents. The proposed method embeds the copyright information and user's phone number into the spatial and encryption domains of the mobile animation data using the Buyer-Seller watermarking protocol. In addition, a user operation key is also inserted, so only the authorized user can play the 3D animation game on the mobile device. The proposed method was implemented using a mobile animation tool, and experimental results verified that the proposed method was capable of copyright protection and preventing illegal copying, as the watermarks were also accurately extracted in the case of geometrical attacks, such as noise addition, data accuracy variation, and data up/dawn scaling.</P>
