From early plane-table photogrammetry through the analog and analytical stages, photogrammetry has now reached the digital photogrammetry stage using the image stored at computers. Digital Photogrammetry using aerial photograph generates the DTM and digital orthophoto. Expecially, DTM is important for improving the accuracy of digital orthophoto. so Many experimental are required. In this study, therefore has deals with the generation process of digital othophotos using DTM with breakline and without breakline.
북미인디안의 환경친화적인 복식 소재에 관한 연구 : 전통복식을 중심으로 Focused on Traditional Costume

The purpose of this study was to identify the origin of diversity of costume material caused by environmental difference. For this purpose, this research involved theoretical studies and studies based on historical data obtained from previous related studies. The common truth was proved that environmental including the geographical distribution of plants and animals determines costume material. Also, It was found that the unique traditional costume styles were developed through unique combination of costume material and their culture. The major results of this study are as follows: 1. The traditional costume of North American Indian was well-developed and closely related to geographical distribution of plants and animals. Also, their costume was so diverse that it could not be categirized. 2. The traditional costume of North American Indian showed ideal har mony between nature and human being by using surrounding environment into their costume. 3. The application of plants and animal materials into their costume was one of the environment- friendly human activity and it seems to give us an important message.

Background : To exatnine the problems intolved in writing practice of death certificates, we cotnpated the determination of underlying cause of death for wital statistics using recorded underlying cause of death in issued death statistics. Methods : We collected 688 rnortality certificates issue in year of 2,000 from 3 university hospitals. And we also collected vital statistics from ministry of statistics. The causes of death were coded by experienced medical record wpecialists. And causes of death determined at ministry of statistics for national vita statistics were mapped to causes of death recorded at each death certificates. The rate that underlying causes of death for vital statistics were derived from underlying causes of death recorded at issued death certificaties sere analysed. Results : 64.5% of underlying cause of death for could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at issued death certificates, 8.6% derived from intermediate cause of death, and 3.9% derived from direct cause of death. In 23% of cases, underlying cause of death could not be derived using issued death certificates. The rate that underlying cause of death for vital statistics could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at death certificates was different between 3 university hospitals. Ane the rate was also different between death certificates and postmortem certificates. We classified the causes of death using 21 major categories. The rate was different between diseases or conditions tha caused death too. Conclusion : When we examined the correctness of death certificate writing practice using abpve methods, cortectness of writing could not be told as satisfactory. There was difference in correctness of writing between hospotals, between death certificates and postmortem certificates, and between diseases and conditions that caused death. With this results, we suggested some strategy to improve the correctness of death certificate writing practice.

By using theoretical model suggested by H. Hartwig et al., performance of sputter ion pump (SIP) was calculated and a SIP was constructed. Measurement of pumping speed of the SIP has been performed with the differential pumping method. The pumping speed for N_2 gas is 48 l/s, and for Ar gas is 20 l/s. These results agree with the theoreticaly expected values.

The GPS to he designed for military flight as it has released for people since 1983, has been applied to most part of engineering. Above all, it had influence on Geodesy for accurate positioning. The reason is that it makes the concept and the method of established positioning for long time to be changed. 13est merits of GPS surveying are not to be cramp from weather condition and to have speed, accuracy and economical efficiency. In addition, newly various measurement methods are developed to adjust to any condition that makes its utility to be increasing. Highly accurate measurement method as like this GPS-aided aerial triangulation, car Navigation is demanded the accuracy of a few centimeter. This paper was determinated that the multipath generated at the mobile receiver when the reference receivers were fixed, the mobile was continuously moving. After generated multipath is reduced in the data processing, it is repeatly reduced to conjunction with network adjustment and kinematic. In this method, 3D RMS is reduced to 30% in the single difference code solution. This method can be used in conjunction network adjustment as well as another method and expected more than above results.

With increase of traffic accidents, the otologic problems including facial palsy with skull fracture are more concerned. This paper is report our experiences with 16 cases of traumatic facial nerve palsy which have been employed transmastoid supralabyrinthine facial nerve decompression during last four years. The results are as follows: 1. Of the 16 patients, 13 patients(81.3%) were men and 3 patients (18.8%) were women. And sex ratio was 1.4:1 (male predominent). 2. In fracture type, longitudinal fracture was 10 cases (62.5%), transverse fracture was 1 case(6.3%) and mixed fracture was 2 cases(12.5%). 3. Cerebral contusion was combined in 8 cases(50%) and facial bone fracture was combined in 6 cases(37.55). Because of these combined lesions, otologic diagnoses and treatment was delayed. 4. The most common physical finding on clinical examination were a bloody otorrhea(75%) and hearing impairment(75%). 5. In frequency of lesion in facial nerve, tympanic segment(35.7%) was the most common site, followed by geniculate ganglion(14.3%). Suggested mechanisms in facial palsy were nerve compression(57.1%), granulation tissue and congestion. 6. There were improvment of House-Brackmann grades in 13 cases after decompression. 7. Incudostapedial separation was found in 4 cases and incus fracture was found in 2 cases. Hearing improvement was found in 3 cases being ossiculoplasty.
