        The aspects and satisfaction on university foodservice were investigated to provide basic information for better foodservice in university by questionnaires. The survey was conducted in Daejon, and data were analyzed by SAS. Although 87.3% of subjects were under foodservice, only 2.0% of them preferred the foods served in university. The most favorite reason for foodservice was indicated as no need on lunch bag(31.1%) and frendship of classmates(25.5%). The most unfavorite reason for foodservice was indicated as bad taste of foods(68.7%) or many dislike foods(13.2%), also dirty eating place(7.7%). The subject liked ssalbap, baechu kimchi, beef foods. The acceptance about kongbap, yulmu kirnchi, beef products was higher in men than women(p<0.05). The preference of mieokkuk was higher in women and that of beef soup was higher in men(p<0.05). The degree of satisfaction was lower in men than in women about the amount of foods(p<0.001). Also the degree of satisfaction was lower in women than in men about sanitary condition of eating place. 54.6% of them had taken the unwanted materials in foods and 3% of them experienced the deteriorated food. The results suggest that food preference of subjects should be considered in meal planning and various cooking method should be utilized to enhance taste of foods for better foodservice. Also, the importance of various foods intake must be periodically and continuously taught to them through nutrition education.

      • 청소년의 체형인식과 체중조절에 관한 실태 조사

        This purpose of this survey was to investigate status recognition and weight contrast of high school students and college in Taejon. These results were summarized as follows: In the heights and weights those of male 178.74±6.31cm and 65.49±9.44kg, those of female were 162.09±4.36cm and 51.95±5.95kg. By broca index, 53.7% of subjects were normal, 38.2% were lean, 5.3% were overweight and 2.8% were obese. 44.4% of male have recognized their body form as normal, 30.5% of female have recognized their body form as overweight, 47.8% of lean groups answered that they were normal. In normal groups, 46.2% answered normal and 28.9% answered some fatty. 46.8% of normal group in female misunderstood that they were some fatty. In spite of not to weight control, lean and normal group answered that they were weight control. Weight control methods were used diet therapy (66.2%). therapy+exercise(22.8%) and exercise(9.0%). Reason to select therapy of weight control were one's recommendation(45.8%) and by mass media(3.8%). Weight loss and period of weight control were 1.9days, 0.4kg in high school students, 7.3days, 0.7kg in college students, and 3.8days, 0.5kg in male, 5.7days, 0.6kg in female. The results of weight control, 65.0% were failed. The reason of failure in weight control, 42.4% answered because of hungry.

      • Prognostic Value of Serum AFP, AFP-L3, and GP73 in Monitoring Short-term Treatment Response and Recurrence of Hepatocellular Carcinoma after Radiofrequency Ablation

        Purpose: Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), Lens culinaris agglutinin-reactive fraction of AFP (AFP-L3), and Golgi protein 73 (GP73) levels have been widely used as tumor markers for the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of this study was to investigate whether these tumor markers could be used to monitor short-term treatment response and recurrence of HCC in patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation (RFA). Methods: Between July 2012 and July 2013, 53 consecutive patients with newly diagnosed HCC were prospectively enrolled in this study. Among these, 32 patients underwent RFA, after which they were followed up prospectively at the First Hospital of Jilin University in China. Results: AFP, AFP-L3, and GP-73 values pre-RFA were not associated with tumor size, whereas AFP and GP-73 levels tended to be associated with tumor number, the presence of vascular invasion, deterioration of liver function, advanced-stage disease, and a poor performance status. GP-73 levels were dramatically elevated in the patients with hepatitis C-associated HCC. Neither pre-RFA nor 1-month post-RFA tumor marker values were associated with short-term outcome. The short-term recurrence rate of AFP-positive patients measured 1 month post-RFA was obviously higher than that of AFP-negative patients. Conclusions: AFP and GP-73 values were associated with clinical variables representing tumor growth and invasiveness, and the AFP value measured 1 month post-RFA was a strong predictor of short-term recurrence in patients with HCC.

        한중 자기반의어의 의미 양상과 해석

        This paper discusses semantic aspects of autoantonym and its interpretation in order to define semantic properties of autoantonym which exists between Korean and Chinese in the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The results are as follows: First, it pointed out the similarities and differences between autoantonym and antonym, and limit the scope of autoantonym. Second, the semantic aspects of autoantonym are largely divided into ‘directional opposition’, ‘scale opposition’, and ‘complementary opposition’. Through the contrast between Korean and Chinese, it showed that there are some autoantonyms which correspond to each other, whereas there are most autoantonyms which cannot correspond to each other. Third, the creation of autoantonym is supported by internal causes of language such as ‘contagion’, and external causes of language such as encyclopedic knowledge about reference, human’s cognitive tendencies, cultural background of research language, etc. Fourth, the study of autoantonym is meaningful for dictionary compilation, language education, and clarifying the way of human conceptualization.

        한국어와 중국어에서 공간관계의 부호화 대조분석

        This paper discussed the cognitive system of Korean speakers and Chinese speakers by investigating the expressions of spatial relations between Korean and Chinese. The results are as follows: First, we pointed out the definition and characteristics of spatial relations and established their semantic types. Second, we compared expressions of spatial relation between Korean and Chinese through three types of spatial relations, namely relative static spatial relations, absolute static spatial relations and directional spatial relations. Third, we explained the universality and variety of the methods of conceptualization in terms of ‘figure-ground relationship’, ‘iconicity’, ‘perspective’, ‘prominence’, etc.

      • Mitochondria-mediated Apoptosis in Human Lung Cancer A549 Cells by 4-Methylsulfinyl-3-butenyl Isothiocyanate from Radish Seeds

        4-Methylsulfinyl-3-butenyl isothiocyanate (MTBITC) found in the radish (Raphanus sativus L.), is a wellknown anticancer agent. In this study, the mechanisms of the MTBITC induction of cell apoptosis in human A549 lung cancer cells were investigated. Our PI staining results showed that MTBITC treatment significantly increased the apoptotic sub-G1 fraction in a dose-dependent manner. The mechanism of apoptosis induced by MTBITC was investigated by testing the change of mitochondrial membrane potential (${\Delta}{\Psi}m$), the expression of mRNAs of apoptosis-related genes by RT-PCR, and the activities of caspase-3 and -9 by caspase colorimetric assay. MTBITC treatment decreased mitochondrial membrane potential by down-regulating the rate of Bcl-2/Bax and Bcl-xL/Bax, and activation of caspase-3 and -9. Therefore, mitochondrial pathway and Bcl-2 gene family could be involved in the mechanisms of A549 cell apoptosis induced by MTBITC.

        Simultaneous Release of Recombinant Cellulases Introduced by Coexpressing Colicin E7 lysis in Escherichia coli

        With the increasingly serious global environment problem caused by slather use of fossil fuels, numerous efforts have been made in developing renewable alternatives. Converting lignocellulose to bioenergy has accomplished by cellulases but the production is limited, therefore the recombinant expression platforms in E. coli have been established. Since E. coli is partly restricted by its inability to secrete enzymes to extracellular membrane, we constructed a synthetic circuit to coexpress cellulases and colicin E7 lysis to solve this problem. The pBAD-RBS-lysis-TT (BBa_K117010) sequence from iGEM was added to form a chimeric plasmid based on pET system, which harboring cellulases from Bacillus subtilis or Thermobifida fusca. The presence of arabinose for the promoter pBAD, leading to induce lysis and further breakdown of the host membrane to release cellulase to extracellular membrane. The extracellular activities increase to 48.1 and 55.5% under lysis gene functioned on Cel5 and CD1, respectively. This is the first attempt to show that cellulases have successfully expressed and released to extracellular membrane without cumbersome steps. Finally, this synthetic circuit simplifies and achieves the simultaneous release and heterologous expression of the cellulases as well as obtain a long-term stable enzyme in E. coli system.

        《河神》IP中的志怪传统与话本风格——以小说《河神•鬼水怪谈》与网剧《河神》为研究对象

        本文以小說《河神·鬼水怪談》與網劇《河神》爲研究對象,分析了《河神》IP中的志怪傳統與話本風格。小說《河神·鬼水怪談》對志怪傳統的繼承通過物老成精的思想、民間古樸的世界觀、多樣的敘事元素、多樣的奇異風俗等四個方面表現出來。而小說《河神·鬼水怪談》對話本風格的呈現則主要體現在對話本結構的模仿和對話本語言的模仿。網劇《河神》雖然改編自小說《河神·鬼水怪談》,但並沒有拘泥於原著,而是進行了更適合影視化表現的改編。劇情上,網劇爲了集中矛盾,將故事進行了簡化,將全劇的主要矛盾變成了代表邪教魔古道勢力的連化青與與代表正義的郭得友之間的矛盾。在人物方面,網劇重新組成了兩對具有戲劇性沖突的情侶——代表傳統文化的小河神與小神婆與代表新文化的留洋法醫與女記者。 This paper analyzes the mystery traditions and style of Script for story-telling in the story of River god taking the novel river god and the network drama river god as the research object. The novel river god reflects the idea that old things become monsters, the world view of the primitive folk, various narrative elements, local strange customs. The style of the Script for story-telling in the novel river god is mainly reflected in the imitation of the structure of the dialogue and the language of the dialogue. Although the drama river god is adapted from the novel river god ,however, it is not bound by the original work, but a more suitable adaptation. On the plot, the network drama in order to focus on contradictions, the story has been simplified,it turns the main contradiction of the whole drama into the contradiction between cult and justice. In terms of characters, online drama has reconstituted two couples with dramatic conflicts.

        A new cyclic dipeptide penicimutide: the activated production of cyclic dipeptides by introduction of neomycin-resistance in the marine-derived fungus Penicillium purpurogenum G59

        A novel cyclic dipeptide, named penicimutide(1), and four known cyclic dipeptides, cyclo(L-Val-L-Pro)(2), cyclo(L-Ile-L-Pro) (3), cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) (4) andcyclo(L-Phe-L-Pro) (5), were isolated from a neomycinresistantmutant of the marine-derived fungus Penicilliumpurpurogenum G59. The structure of 1, including theabsolute configuration, was determined by spectroscopicand chemical methods, especially NMR and Marfey’sanalysis. An unusual amino acid in 1, 4,5-didehydro-Lleucine,was found for the first time occurring in nature. HPLC–ESI–MS analysis evidenced that 1–3 were producedonly in the mutant strain, but 4 and 5 were producedin both the mutant and parental strains, indicating that theintroduction of neomycin-resistance in the mutant activatedpathways of 1–3 biosynthesis that were silent in the parentalstrain. Compound 1 selectively inhibited HeLa cells(among five tested human cancer cell lines) with an inhibitionrate (IR %) of 39.4 % at 100 lg/mL, a similarinhibition intensity to that of the positive control 5-fluorouracil(IR % of 41.4 % at 100 lg/mL against HeLacells). The present work exemplifies the effectiveness ofour previous DMSO-mediated method for introducingdrug-resistance in fungi to activate silent biosyntheticpathways to obtain new bioactive compounds.

        nonstop glumes (nsg), a novel mutant affects spikelet development in rice

        The spikelet is a unique structure of grass plants,and its development involved with complicated molecular regulation network. nsg (nonstop glumes) mutant affecting spikelet development was identified from EMS-treated Jinhui10(Oryza sativa L. ssp. indica.). Mutant plants had normal glumes (inner rudimentary glume, empty glumes and lemma/palea) and pedicel at the early flowering stage, but had longer ones at later stage. An extra glume-like organ was found in 84 %of mutant individuals. The number of stamens decreased in most mutant individuals whereas three stigmas or two carpels were found in some mutant individuals. The mutant phenotype suggests that NSG is involved in the whole rice spikelet development. NSG was mapped to a 15 kb region on the chromosome 4. According to sequence analysis, a gene encoding a protein with C2H2 domain exhibited a 13 bp insertion, causing a frame shift in genomics DNA and cDNA in nsg. This gene was identified as the candidated gene of NSG. The mutation of NSG influenced the transcription level of some floral hometic genes. The expression of OsMADS4, OsMADS16, DL and OsMADS3 decreased distinctly, and OsMADS1 increased in nsg panicle, suggests that NSG affected spikelet development through influencing the expression of floral hometic genes.
