        KI-180과 KI-188 칼슘조성물이 어린쥐의 성장발육에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 조성물이 성장발육에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 시험기간중 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군이 대조군 보다 성장률과 평균 식이섭취량은 증가하였다. 체장은 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군이 대조군에 비해 평균 3.55 mm 더 길었고, 등뼈길이는 KI-180 식이군이 대조군 보다 통계적인 차이는 없었지만 0.5 mm 더 길었다. 대퇴골 무게는 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군이 대조군에 비해 통계적으로 무거웠으며, 대퇴골길이는 대조군에 비해 각각 평균 0.89, 1.09 mm 더 길었다. 혈당, 총콜레스테롤 및 중성지방 농도는 차이가 없었고, 칼슘농도는 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군 보다 대조군이 유의하게 높았다. 백혈구와 혈소판수는 차이가 없었고, 적혈구, 혈색소 및 헤마토크릿치는 대조군이 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군 보다 통계적으로 높았다. ALP활성은 KI-180 식이군이 대조군 보다 통계적으로 높았고, osteocalcin농도는 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군이 대조군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 혈청 testosterone 농도는 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 식이군과 대조군 간에 차이가 없었다. IGF-1과 IGFBP-3 농도는 KI-180 조성물이 대조군 보다 각각 20%, 11% 정도 유의하게 더 높았다. 이상의 결과를 검토할 때 KI-188 칼슘과 KI-180 조성물은 어린쥐의 성장과 골격의 발달을 촉진시키고, 성장호르몬의 분비능을 양적으로 유도하여 전반적인 성장발육에 유효한 작용이 있는 것으로 사료된다. Herbs have active components that promote the growth rate of both animals and human. The KI-180 and KI-188 calcium food formulae contain Acanthopanacis cortex, Bombysis corpus and hoelen, seaweed calcium, chlorella extract, spirulina, colostrum powder, and other natural and functional components. We evaluated the growth-promoting effects of these formulae by analyzing the weight, femur and backbone, alkaline phosphatase, osteocalcin, testosterone, insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1, and IGF binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) of growing rats. Growing rats administered with KI-180 and KI-188 calcium showed the increase of body weight, body length, and femur weight and length of growing rats. In addition, administration of KI-180 and KI-188 calcium increased the alkaline phosphatase activity, the levels of osteocalcin and the growth hormones IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 of growing rats. The impact of KI-180 and KI-188 calcium on the physical development of growing rats suggests that the incorporation of these food formulae in the diets of growing children may promote the physical development.

        태권도 앞굽이 몸통반대지르기를 통한 고령자의 건각도의 유효성 분석

        The purpose of this study was to identify effectiveness of Taekwondo Apkubi Momtong Bandae Jireugi (AMBJ) as diagnostic method of health related to muscle level of older men. To accomplish the purpose, relationship between a 3 stride of AMBJ distance and a cross section area of psoas major muscle were analyze. By using random sampling, 10 older men were sampled as subject who participate Gate-ball club in S-Gu, D-metropolitan city. Analysis of relation between the 3 stride of AMBJ and psoas major muscle scale recorded by MRI of older men were executed. Results of the analysis could be summarized as the following. 1) In the case of older men, the male who has much muscle weight and large thigh girth has big cross section area of psoas major muscle. 2) Relation among 3 stride of AMBJ, muscle weight(r=.822, p<.01), and thigh girth(r=.720, p<.05) especially, cross section area of psoas major muscle presented very high correlation(r=.91, p<.001). 3) Based on the analysis, measurement result of the 3 stride of Taekwondo Apkubi Momtong Bandae Jireugi was very effective diagnostic method to assume for health related to muscle strength level and all the muscular strength level of older men.

      • 도심에 거주하는 남성 노인에 있어서 유산소 운동능력이 혈관내 염증수치와 동맥경직도에 미치는 영향

        Experimental epidemiology and clinical studies have provided strong evidence that physical exercise has beneficial effects on multiple physiological variables affecting cardiovascular health. Cardiopulmonary function has been previously associated with atherosclerotic disease and coronary events. The aim of this study was to examine the higher levels of cardiopulmonary function are associated with lower levels of hs-CRP(high sensitive C reactive protein) and baPWV(barcahial ankle pulse wave velocity) in Korean elderly men. Study participants were 115 elderly men (mean age 62.5±2.2) participated in the research. Age, body mass index(BMI), resting heart rate, blood pressure, medical history, lipid profile, high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (ba-PWV), cardiopulmonary function were measured. VO2peak higher elderly man had a significantly decreased hsCRP(0.22±0.26, p<0.05) and PWV (1439.1±159.9, p<0.05). In addition, HDL-C(55.2±14.2, p<0.05) levels was significantly increased and LDL-C(1193±21.7, p<0.05) level was decreased. This study show that VO2peak levels are positively correlated with hsCRP, HDL-C and PWV. Apparently healthy subjects with increased inflammatory markers have increased systemic arterial stiffness, which might reflect early atherosclerotic changes. Higher physical conditioning status, indexed by VO2peak, was associated with reduced arterial stiffness and hsCRP and increased HDL-C. The results of our study suggest that high cardiopulmonary function reduces hsCRP levels and improves PWV, HDL-C in Korea elderly men. 심혈관질환은 현재 선진 산업 국가들에서 성인 사망 제 1원인으로 알려져 있다. 심혈관질환에 의한 사망률은 나이가 증가하면서 더 높아지는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 이러한 심혈관질환을 일으키는 위험인자로는 나이, 신체활동의 부족, C반응성 단백(CRP), 혈관경직도(baPWV) 등이 심혈관질환을 높이는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 무엇보다 인구의 고령화로 인해 심혈관질환이 증가하고 있다는 것이다. 심혈관질환을 예방하기 위해서는 생활 습관 개선이 중요하며 그 중에서도 신체활동은 매우 중요하다. 하지만 고령의 건강한 남성을 대상으로 심폐기능과 관상동맥질환의 위험인자와의 관련성을 살펴본 연구는 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구는 60세 이상의 건강한 노인 남성(62.5±2.2)을 대상으로 심폐체력의 수준에 따른 혈중 C반응성 단백(CRP), 혈관경직도(baPWV)의 변화를 알아보고자 했다. 심장병 증상이 없는 노인 남성 115명을 대상으로 하였으며, 심폐기능 측정을 위해 운동부하검사를 실시했다. 혈액검사를 통해 혈중 CRP와 동맥경직도를 평가하기위해 baPWV 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 혈중 CRP는 심폐기능이 높은 그룹에서 0.22±0.26로 심폐기능이 낮은 그룹의 0.49±0.49 보다 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). baPWV역시 심폐기능이 높은 그룹에서 1439.1±159.9로 심폐기능이 낮은 그룹의 1523.7±236.1보다 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). 따라서 건강한 노인 남성의 경우 심페기능이 좋은 그룹에서 심혈관질환 위험인자인 CRP와 baPWV가 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

        건강한 중년남성에 있어 유산소 운동능력(VO₂ peak)이 맥파속도(Pulse wave velocity)와 CRP에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to effect of the aerobic capacity on arterial stiffness and CRP in healthy adults. Experimental, epidemiologic and clinical studies have provided strong evidence that physical exercise has beneficial effects on multiple physiological variables affecting cardiovascular health. The subjects consisted 699 middle aged men who was aged 40-59 years were checked by blood test(including CRP), measurement of body fat, blood pressure, exercise stress testing and pulse wave velocity. Aerobic capacity was determined in all individuals by measurement of maximal oxygen consumption during treadmill exercise. VO₂peak significantly higher man was decreased hsCRP-0.1l4㎎/ℓ(p<0.002), PWV Right side-0.160(p<0.0001), PWV Left side-0.166(p<0.0001) and increased HDL-C levels 0.205(p<0.0001). These VO₂peak associated increases in HDL-C and decreased CRP levels and PWV. This study show that VO₂peak levels are positively correlated with hsCRP, HDL-C and PWV. Apparently healthy subjects with increased inflammatory markers have increased systemic arterial stiffness, which might reflect early atherosclerotic changes. Higher physical conditioning status, indexed by VO₂peak was associated with reduced arterial stiffness and hsCRP and increased HDL-C. The results of our study suggest that high aerobic capacity reduce hsCRP levels and improve PWV, HDL-C in healthy adult man.

      • 단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고의 원인과 방사선학적 소견: 중례보고 및 가스분석 결과

        목 적:단무지 공장에서 질식사고를 일으켰던 가스의 종류를 알아내고, 이러한 가스중독의 방서선학적 소견을 소개하기 위하여 본 연구를 하였다. 대상 및 방법:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고자 3예중 생존자 1예를 대상으로 단순흥부X-선검사와 CT 소견을 분석하였으며, 가스의 종류를 알아내기 위하여 단무지를 유리병에 넣어 발생된 가스를 가스크로마토그래픽을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결 과:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식사고자중 생존한 1명의 방사선학적 검사에서 신속히 호전되는 폐경결(consolidation)을 볼 수 있었으며 이는 폐부종의 소견임을 알 수 있었다. 협기성 상태에서 단무지를 담은 유리병의 상층부 가스를 실험 분석한 결과 이산화탄소, 에칠알코올이 다량으로 검출되었으나 독성가스는 주로 황화수소이였다. 결 론:단무지 공장의 질식 사고자에서 폐방사선학적 소견은 폐경결을 보이는 폐부증으로서 이는 실험을 통해 단무지에서 발생되는 유독가스인 황화수소 때문임을 입증하였다. Purpose: To identify the main toxic gas released from salted radish in rice bran(Dan-M-Ji) and to introduce the radiological findings of the patient who was exposed to the gas. Materials and Methods: Chest radiographs and CT scans of one survivor among three men who were exposed to the gas from Dan-Mu-Ji were reviewed. Gas obtained from the closed bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was analized by using the gas chromatography. Results: The radiographlc examinations of the survivor were suggestive of pulmonary edema with it's rapidly improving consolidations in both lung. The headapace gas within the bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was mainly composed with carbon dioxide, ethyl alcohol and hydrogen sulfide, of which hydrogen sulfide was considered the main toxic gas released. Conclusion: Under the anaerobic condition, Dan-Mu-Ji released toxic hydrogen sulfide. Inhalation of hydrogen sulfide might produce non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema.

      • 과실 비파괴 검사용 초음파 트랜스듀서 개발

        In this study, the ultrasonic transducers for contact measurement of whole fruits were developed. The design parameters for ultrasonic transducer such as acoustical impedance of fruits, kinds of piezoelectric materials, ultrasonic wave frequency, and transducer diameter were investigated. In order to match the impedance between piezoelectric material and fruit, various wear plates were fabricated and evaluated. And to control the bandwidth of ultrasonic wave of the transducer, various backing materials were fabricated and evaluated. The wear plate of the transducer was specially designed and fabricated considering the curvature of fruit. Two kinds of transducers such as 100 kHz of central frequency with 40 mm of transducer diameter and 200 kHz of central frequency with 20 mm diameter were developed. Nondestructive evaluation of the fruit will be possible with the developed ultrasonic transducers.

      • Bi를 첨가한 BaTiO_3 자기반도체

        The (Ba_(1-x)Bi_x) TiO_3 (0.05≤x≤5a/0) has been prepared by sintering the mixture of BaTiO_3 and Bi_2O_3. The measuremnts of the capacitance and resistance showed that the optimum doping level of Bi was 0.1≤x≤0.5a/0. Typically, for the sample of x=0.5a/0, thearea capacitance was 3.5nF/㎠ which gave the effective dielectric constant of 3.4×10^4. The change in capacitance and loss tangent were 0.4∼-26% in the temperature range of -50∼85℃ and 5∼-7% in the temperature range of -50∼150℃ relative to room temperature capacitance and loss tangent, respectively. The frequency characteristics of the capacitance and loss tangent for the sample of 0.5a/0 showed that this sample was suitable for a capacitor in the higher frequency region than 1 kHz. Although the loss tangent(0.1) and the insulation registance (0.02MΩ·μF) are lower than JIS values, the semiconductors in the optimum doping range are valuable to be used as a high dielectric capacitor. The x=0.5a/0 sample had shown a PTC thermistor characteristics by having the resistance anomaly index ψ=2.5 and the room temperature resistivity ρ=10^4Ω·㎝.
