      • IS 조직의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구

        The IS(information systems) organization is a stressful organization. However, there is little theoretical or empirical research on the effects of job stress on IS organization. A major reason is because IS organization and researchers are unaware of the consequences of job stress and unfamiliar with the job stress literature. The purpose of this paper is to propose a theoretical framework of job stress on IS organization. Based on a review of the IS, psychology, and general management literature,12 job stress models are identified. These stress models are analyzed along the two dimensions of focus and theoretical foundation. The analysis shows that most of the job stress models consider stress to be the consequence of the interaction between an environmental stimulus and the idiosyncratic response of the individual. Further analysis of these models suggests that nine key points are critical in developing a theoretical framework of jon stress on IS organization. A mapping of how the existing stress models incorporate the nine key points is also presented. The findings of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for further research on the job stress of IS organization. Finally, an agenda for further research into this issue is presented.

        This study examined the key success factors and the degree of industry attractiveness in the TFT-LCD industries. The five competitive force factors include: barriers o entry, industry rivalry, threat of substitutes, supplier power and buyer power. As the result of this study, it was found that the key success factors were customer needs, high screen quality, low price, high performance, convenience and stability concerning with display device. This study provides another link in the chain of understanding of the industry attractiveness and key success factors in the TFT-LCD markets.

      • 스피로노락톤의 한국인 지원자에서의 약물속도론적 연구

        A reversed phase HPLC method was developed and validated for the determination of spironolactone in human plasma. Fenoprofen was used as an internal standard. Calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 2.5~200 ng/㎖. The coefficient of variation of the intra- and inter-day precision were below 15%. The coefficient of variation of the accuracy were below 15% in the concentration range investigated. A bioavailability study was performed using the validated HPLC method. Eight healthy male volunteers were orally administered 100 ㎎ of spironolactone. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using WinNonlin. The mean values of AUC_(12hr) was 158.9±69.9 ngㆍhr/㎖, C_(max) was 42.2±14.9 ng/㎖, T_(max)was 1.79±0.60 hr, t_(1/2) was 2.72±0.87 hr. The pharmacokinetic parameters and the HPLC method can be used for the design of bioequivalence study of spironolactone.

        둥시 장아찌 제조 과정 중 이화학적 특성 변화

        떫은감 품종의 하나인 등시를 이용하여 감장아찌 제조 중 과육의 이화학적 변화를 조사한 결과, 염도 변화는 저농도 간장 및 된장 침지의 경우 다소 완만한 증가를 보였고, 고농도의 간장 및 된장 침지의 경우 침지 기간내내 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 간장 침지액 감장아찌의 경도는 간장 및 된장 모두 20-80% 농도에서는 침지 초기에는 증가하다가 침지 기간이 경과할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 간장 침지 감장아찌의 색도 변화는 저장기간이 경과할수록 명도가 낮아지는 경향이었고, 적색도와 황색도는 침지액 농도를 달리하였을 경우 농도가 낮을수록, 침지 기간이 길어질수록 높았으며, 침지액 농도에 따른 차이는 크지 않았다. 침지액의 간장 및 된장의 농도를 달리하였을 때 감장아찌 중의 탄닌함량의 변화는 모든 침지액 농도에서 침지 기간이 지속될수록 탄닌의 함량은 저장 초기에 서서히 감소되다가 침지 기간이 길어질수록 급격히 감소하였으며, 첨가량에 따른 탄닌함량의 변화폭은 크지 않았다. 침지액의 간장 및 된장의 농도를 달리하였을 때 감과육에 존재하는 연화효소인 polygalacturonase와 pectinesterase 활성 변화는 간장침지 및 된장침지 모두 침지 초기부터 효소활성이 증가하기 시작하였으며 침지 기간이 경화할수록 효소활성은 더욱 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었고, 침지액의 농도가 높아질수록 효소활성이 억제되었다. Changes of physicochemical properties during the preparation of persimmon pickles were investigated. The salinity in persimmon pickles increased during storage time (0~50 days) with soy sauce and soy paste. When the fermented soy sauce and soy paste was added to the soaking solution with 80~100%, the salinity increased more rapidly. The hardness of persimmon pickles with soy sauce and soy paste was slightly increased up to the 20 or 30th day of storage and then decreased. L value of persimmon pickles was gradually decreased, but a and b value were slightly increased. The concentration of soluble tannin in persimmon pickles was slightly decreased down to the 20th day of storage and then decreased rapidly. The activities of polygalacturonase and pectinesterase as softening enzyme in persimmon pickles with soy sauce and soy paste increased during storage time (0-50 days) and enzyme activity was inhibited by high concentration of soaking solution.

        3개 대학병원의 주 진단 코딩사례 평가

        Background : Coding of principal diagnosis is essential component for producing reliable health statistics. We performed this study to evaluate the current practice of principal diagnoses determination and coding, and to give some basic data to improve coding of principal diagnosis. Method : Nineteen medical record administrators(MRAs) of 3 university hospitals participated in coding principal Dx. From August 1, 2001 to August 31, 2001. From each hospital, 10 medical records of patients with high frequency disease were selected randomly. Each 10 medical records were grouped into three(A,B,C). Then, these 30 medical records were given to each MRAs for coding. At the same time questionnaire was given to each of them. Questions were to prove how they decide and code the principal diagnosis among many current diagnoses ; how they decide and code the principal diagnosis when day see irrelevant diagnosis recorded as the principal diagnosis in medical record, when only tentative diagnoses were recorded without final diagnosis, and when different diagnoses were recorded in different sheets of same record. Agreement of coding among 3 hospitals were compared and survey results were analysed with SAS 6.12. Results : Agreement of coding was found in medical records 5-6 of each 10 medical records. Causes of disagreement were as follows. Difference of clinician’s opinion from each hospital; mixed use of guideline from KCD-3 and guideline from DRG; difference in 4th digit classification according to the absence of pathology report in the medical record; difference of abbreviations among hospitals. 57.9% of decided principal diagnosis after consulting to KCD-3 guideline. When there were difficulties in determining the principal diagnosis, 42.1% of MRAs decided principal diagnosis after discussion with the physician, 26.3% after discussion with fellow MRAs. Conclusion : There were differences in coding among hospitals. To minimize the difference, we suggest the development of disease-specific guidelines for coding in addition to the current general guideline such as KCD-3. To do this, Coding Clinic which can produce guidelines is needed.

      • Agonistic Effects of Composite Drugs and Component Fractions of the Oriental Drugs on the Benzodiazepine Receptor

        This study was attempted to evaluate an agonistic activity to benzodiazepine receptor of several medicinal plants, which have been used as sedatives in oriental medicine. The activities of the methanol extracts of composite preparation of oriental drugs were compared with those of the simple drugs, furthermore, the active fraction was found out from the simple preparation. Inhibitory effects of composite preparations, Cyperus rotundus/Acorus gramineus, Thuja orientalis/Euphoria longan, Thuja orientalis/Albizzia julibrissin, on the binding of [³H]Ro15-1788. a selective benzodiazepine receptor antagonist to benzodiazepine receptor of rat cortices, were observed to be lower than those of corresponding simple preparations. These unexpected results suggest that some components of the composite drugs may rather act as an obstacle, not to show the sinergistic effect. The methanol extracts of Cyperus rotundus having the highest activity were fractionated using polar and nonpolar solvents to give ethylacetate and hexane fractions, respectively. The ethylacetate fraction containing relatively polar components exhibited much higher activity than the hexane fraction, which consists of nonpolar ingredients. Moreover, the ethylacetate fraction enhanced a [³H]flunitrazepam. a selective benzodiazepine receptor agonist. binding to benzodiazepine receptor. However, in the presence of GABA, this fraction inhibited [³H]flunitrazepan binding, and these positive GABA shift supported the strong possibility of agonistic activity to benzodiazepine receptor. As a result. it may be concluded that the substance or substances with neurochemical properties characteristic of a benzodiazepine receptor agonist may contribute to the sedative property of Cyperus rotundus.

        Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Investigation of Different Plant Organs after Gamma Irradiation

        Total reactive oxygen species (ROS) signals in irradiated Arabidopsis plants were examined by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) analysis. At 10 kGy, the EPR signal intensity was highest in the root, whereas relatively low intensity levels were observed in the leaf and stem. The relative unit (r.u.) of control plants was 0.38 in the leaf, which was gradually increased to 0.51, 0.71, and 0.95 r.u. at 1, 5, and 10 kGy, respectively. In the stem, the intensity in all irradiated samples was lowest compared with that in other plant organs such as the leaf and root. The r.u. in the root sharply increased from 0.13 r.u. in control samples to 1.58 r.u. at 10 kGy, with 0.30-0.42 r.u. observed in 1-5 kGy irradiated samples. Stem and leaf extracts showed remarkably high levels of radical scavenging activity at 89.12 and 71.45%, respectively, compared with the very low level of activity in the root at 10.75%. These findings were in good agreement with the extraction yield of each plant organ, which was 20.0, 14.8, and 10.0% in the stem, leaf, and root, respectively. Order of EPR signal intensity and radical scavenging activity was as follows: EPR signal intensity: 1) leaf > root > stem at 1 and 5 kGy, 2) root > leaf > stem at 10 kGy; radical scavenging activity: stem > leaf > root. Results showed high or low levels of EPR signal intensity in different plant organs could be caused by the ROS removal power of extracts from different plant organs.

        Evaluation of Sticking Coefficient in BSCCO Thin Film Fabricated by Co-sputtering

        BSCCO thin films are fabricated via a co-deposition process by an ion beam sputtering with an ultra-low growth rate, and sticking coefficients of the respective elements are evaluated. The sticking coeffi-cient of Bi element exhibits a characteristic temperature dependence : almost a constant value of 0.49 below 73$0^{\circ}C$ and decreases linearly with temperature over 73$0^{\circ}C$. This temperature dependence can be elucidated from the evaporation and sublimation rates of bismuth oxide, Bi\ulcornerO\ulcorner, from the film surface. It is considered that the liquid phase of the bismuth oxide plays an important role in the Bi(2212) phase formation in the co-deposition process.

        A Novel Mobile Antenna for Ku-Band Satellite Communications

        A mobile antenna for multimedia communications with Ku-band geostationary satellite KOREASAT-3 and JSAT-2A is presented. The forward link of the satellite communication is 11.7 to 12.75 GHz, and the return link is 14.0 to 14.5 GHz. The mobile antenna is designed to be a stair structure using 24 active phased array elements in order to provide a low profile, and to be at a non-periodic array distance using the genetic algorithm. Also, the designed antenna uses the double beam forming method for stable satellite tracking. The fabricated mobile antenna is examined using various experiments to confirm its capability for practical application. From the measured results, the fabricated mobile antenna system is confirmed to have a good performance.

        Inhibitory Effects of Constituents of Gastrodia elata Bl. on Glutamate-Induced Apoptosis in MIR-32 Human Neuroblastoma Cells

        The inhibitory effects of the constituents of Gastrodia elata Bl. (GE) on glutamate-induced apoptosis in human neuronal cells were investigated using IMR32 human neuroblastoma cells. Glutamate (GLU) induced DNA fragmentation, a hallmark of apoptosis, in a dose-dependent manner. GLU also induced a slow and sustained increase in intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentration. Treatment with EGTA, an extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ chelator, in a nominal $Ca^{2+}$ -free buffer solution abolished the GLU-induced intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ increase, indicating that GLU stimulated Ca2+ influx pathway in the IMR32 cells. BAPTA, an intracellualr $Ca^{2+}$ chelator, significantly inhibited the GLU-induced apoptosis assessed by the flow cytometry measuring hypodiploid DNA content indicative of apoptosis, implying that intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ rise may mediate the apoptotic action of GLU. Vanillin (VAN) and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde(p-HB), known constituents of GE, significantly inhibited both intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ rise and apoptosis induced by GLU. These results suggest that the apoptosis-inhibitory actions of the constituents of GE may account, at least in part, for the basis of their antiepileptic activities. These results further suggest that intracelluarl $Ca^{2+}$ signaling pathway may be a molecular target of the constituents of GE.
