Purpose : This study was to evaluate the ECG changes of J point amplitude, T wave and ST-T configuration in the high intercostal space (HIS) of patients with incomplete right bundle branch block pattern in EKG. The distinctive ECG characteristics of incomplete right bundle branch block (ICRBBB) with ST segment elevation in right precordial leads, is similar to Brugada syndrome (BS), If these changes are occurred in patient's EKG in the HIS with symptom, it may suggest BS. Brugada like ECG changes may be considered as a normal variant rather than a specific finding, but there are reports of patients with a history of syncope that showed typical Brugada like ECG changes only when recorded in the HIS, and there is only few reports of Brugada like changes in patients with ICRBBB in the HIS. Method : Patients with rSr' and QRS morphology in V1 were tested for HIS ECG and classified as BS ECG type 1, 2, and 3 according to measurement of J point amplitude, T wave and ST-T configuration. The evaluation of ECGs were done by two qualified investigators. Result : The forty patients with ICRBBB (group A) and 40 controls (group B) were evaluated through the 3rd and 2nd ICS ECG. ECG changes were classified as ICRBBB, BS type 1, type 2 and type 3. In the 3rd ICS, one patient (2.5%) was type 1, and 14 patients (35.0%) were type 2 and 3 ECG. In the second ICS, two patients (5.0%) were type 1, and 18 patients (52.5%) were type 2 and 3. In the 3rd ICS there was an increase in the J-point amplitude of the V1 and V2 in the ICRBBB group (V1r' :2.71 ± 1.69mm, V2r' :3.25 ± 2.41mm) compared to that of the control group (V1r':0.62 ± 0.83mm, V2r' : 0.88 ± 1.25mm). The same changes were also observed in the 2nd ICS; ICRBBB group (V1r' : 3.12 ± 1.65mm, V2r':3.54 ± 2.33) and control group (V1r':0.91 ± 1.22mm, V2r' : 1.11 ± 1.35mm). Conclusion : In this study, asymptomatic patients with ICRBBB showed BS like ECG changes in the high ICS. There were significant elevations of the J point in the high ICS. Brugada like changes could be observed through recording the ECG changes in the high ICS of asymptomatic patients of ICRBBB

The aim of this study was to develop a convenient brown sauce product with long shelf life that has similar taste and quality characteristics with sauce used in restaurants. Response surface analysis was carried out to optimize brown sauce. Extracted brown sauce powder was subjected to hot air drying, infrared drying, freeze drying, and spray drying to determine the appropriate drying method for brown sauce manufacturing. The optimum extraction conditions were set by superimposing and reading each reaction surface that satisfied all of the sensory characteristics such as color, smell, taste, concentration, and overall preference level in order to set the optimum conditions for brown sauce production. The optimum extraction conditions for brown sauce were determined to be heating time 30 min, gelatin addition quantity 9.00%, and tomato paste addition quantity 11.25%. Reliability test showed a similar value to the predicted scope when compared to the experimental value obtained under the same conditions as the predicted value according to RSM (response surface methodology), enabling verification of the derived regression formula. Product powder of ideal brown sauce by heating, infrared radiation, freezing, and spray drying and investigate result for functional tests of color, flavor, taste, viscosity, overall acceptability and show highly acceptability on powder by infrared rays and freeze-drying methods. Especially, infrared radiation method resulted in favorable color and flavor values while freeze-drying method produced good taste and viscosity values and high overall acceptability. Therefore, infrared radiation drying method and freeze-drying method to product powder.

Zirconium-oxide (ZrO2) thin films as protective layers were grown on a Zircaloy-4 (Z-4) cladding material as a substrate by RF reactive magnetron sputtering at room temperature. To investigate the effect of plasma immersion on the structural and the corrosive properties of the as-grown ZrO2 thin film, we immersed Z-4 in plasma during the deposition process. X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements showed that the as-grown ZrO2 thin films immersed in plasma had cubic, well as monoclinic and tetragonal, phases whereas those immersed in the plasma had monoclinic and tetragonal phases only. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements of the surface morphology showed that the surface roughness of the as-grown ZrO2 thin films immersed in plasma was larger than that of the films not immersed in plasma. In addition, the corrosive property of the as-grown ZrO2 thin films immersed in the plasma was characterized using the weight gains of Z-4 after the corrosion test. Compared with the non-immersed films, the weight gains of the immersed films were larger. These results indicate that the ZrO2 films immersed in plasma cannot protect Z-4 from corrosive phenomena.
국내 중소 과학관 현황 분석: 과학관의 조직, 운영, 교육을 중심으로

이 연구의 목적은 지방 과학관의 조직, 운영, 교육 등의 실태를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 과학관 분석을 위한 평가틀을 개발하고, 28개의 과학관을 선정하여 관계자와의 심층면담을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학관의 전문 인력이 부족하여 원활한 과학관 운영이 어려웠다. 둘째, 과학관의 재정상태가 매우 좋지 않았다. 셋째, 과학관의 시설이나 전시물 관리에서 부족한 측면이 다수 발견되었다. 넷째, 과학관의 관람객을 이끌 수 있는 다양한 홍보나 마케팅이 소극적으로 이루어지고 있었다. 다섯째, 과학관의 연구 및 교육프로그램에 미흡한 부분이 많이 발견되었다. 실태조사 결과를 바탕으로 지방 과학관의 발전 방안을 위한 방안을 논의하였다. This study aims to investigate the current status of science museum in terms of evaluating its organization, management, and education program. The analytical framework developed for examination are as follows: First, the lack of professional staff in most target museums is the biggest impediment for domestic science museums to function properly. Second, funding has been very poor. Third, most museums failed to properly sustain exhibits, equipment, and facilities. Fourth, various advertising and marketing efforts for attracting more visitors are hardly done. And lastly, the domestic museums made little effort in pursuing research focusing on improving exhibitions and education program. Based on these findings, the future directions for domestic science museums to step-up opportunities have been discussed in this study.

자동 한국 번호판 인식 (AKLPR)은 많은 분야에서 사용된다. 이러한 응용 분야에서 ALPR은 높은 인식률과 빠른 처리 속도가 중요하다. 최근 딥러닝의 발전으로 객체 감지 및 인식의 정확도와 속도가 향상 되고 있으며, 그 결과 딥러닝이 ALPR에 적용되고 있다. 특히 합성곱신경망(Convolutional Neural Network) 기반 객체 검출기가 ALPR에 적용되었다. 이러한 ALPR은 LP 영역을 검출하는 단계와 LP 영역의 문자를 검출 및 인식하는 단계로 구분되며, 각 단계는 별도의 CNN으로 구현된다. 본 논문에서는 단일 단계 CNN으로 ALPR을 구현하는 아키텍처를 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 높은 인식률을 유지하면서 빠른 속도로 번호판 문자를 인식한다. The Automatic Korean license plate recognition (AKLPR) is used in many fields. For many applications, high recognition rate and fast processing speed of ALPR are important. Recent advances in deep learning have improved the accuracy and speed of object detection and recognition, and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) has been applied to ALPR. The ALPR is divided into the stage of detecting the LP region and the stage of detecting and recognizing the character in the LP region, and each step is implemented with separate CNN. In this paper, we propose a single stage CNN architecture to recognize license plate characters at high speed while keeping high recognition rate.

우리는 완전 방실 차단 환자에서 반복적으로 발생한 유도절단과 이탈을 확인하였으며, 그 이유로 환자가 버스 운전을 하면서 과도하게 팔을 움직인 것과 삽입시 접근 방법을 생각해 볼 수 있었다. 새로운 유도를 겨드랑이 정맥 접근법으로 삽입하고 직업을 교체함으로써 문제는 해결되었다. With the increased use of implantable cardiac devices, the incidence of hardware problems has also increased. Some of the hardware problems might be induced by patient factors. We experienced recurrent pacemaker lead fracture and dislocation after permanent pacemaker implantation. The patient was a bus driver who used his left arm vigorously when he turned the steering wheel. After a new lead was inserted via an axillary vein approach and the patient changed his occupation, no more lead problems have occurred. When a recurrent hardware problem with an implantable pacemaker or defibrillator occurs, patient factors related to anatomy or behavior must be considered. (Korean J Med 78:747-750, 2010)
