The various types of enzyme have been coupled to ion-selective electrodes for the development of enzyme membrane electrodes. The tissue and organ of animals and plants contained a lot of variant enzymes. A bioselsoective membrane electrode which employs slices of Wistar rat liver was studied that the effect of pH, kinds and concentration of buffer solution, temperature and thickness of slice in order to optimize electrode response. The longstability, the response time and slope of wistar rat tissue glutamine selective membrane electrode was evaluated.

To improve the standardization of enzyme membranes for FET-type biosensor, wafer-scale formation technique had been studied by using photo-sensitive polymers. Glucose Oxidase, the enzyme which decomposes the glucose, had been used for application of this method to glucose sensors. Thin standardized memebranes could be obtained by spin coating of the mixed solution, composed of PVA-SbQ polymer and glucose oxidase, followed by photolithographic techniques. The performance characteristics of the glucose sensor having this thin enzyme membrane had been investigated.

It is shown that the rose of sharon receptacle tissue can serve as an effective biocatalyst in the construction of a potentiometric membrane electrode with response and selectivity for arginine, Electrodes using this tissue in conjunction with NH_(3) gas sensing probes yield good response to arginine in 1 X 10^(-1)M to 10^(-3)M range and retain activity for at least 2 weeks. The arginine-selective membrane electrode using tissue slices of the rose of sharon have good selectivity when operated at an optimum pH 8.0, 25℃, 20um thickness of slices and in 0.1M phosphate buffer solution.

생물학적 산소요구량인 BOD는 오수의 오염정도 특히 분해 가능한 유기물 함유량의 정도를 측정하는데 널리 사용된다. 그러나 일반적으로 BOD 측정은 20℃에서 5일간 반응시켜야만 결과를 얻을 수 있으므로 시간이 많이 걸리고 상당한 기술을 필요로 하기 때문에 보다 신속하고 재현성이 좋은 BOD 측정법의 개발이 요구된다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 미생물을 전극에 고정화하여 BOD 센서를 만들어 상품화 하고자 한다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 내용과 범위로 수행하였다. 1. 저렴하고 실용화할 수 있는 전기화학 디바이스 개발 이들 각 부분을 별도로 제작한다든가 구입할려면 많은 비용이 필요하므로 어느 실험실이나 기관 내에 PC(personal Computer)가 모두 있으므로 PC에 장착하여 BOD 측정을 할 수 있는 기판을 만들었다. 2. 용존산소 측정장치 개발 미생물이 유기물질을 감지하여 변화된 산소의 양을 측정하는 용존산소 측정장치 개발 3. 미생물의 장기 활성 유지 방법 고안 미생물은 생명을 가지고 있으므로 오랫동안 활성을 가지려면 생명을 유지 할 수 있도록 조건을 만들어 보관하여야 한다. 4. BOD5 값과 제작한 장치로 측정한 BOD 값의 비교 일반적으로 BOD측정은 20℃에서 5일간 반응시켜야만 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 이때 얻은 BOD5 값과 제작한 장치로 여러 가지 당류와 식품공장 폐수 그리고 섬유공장 폐수의 BOD 값을 비교하므로서 제작한 장치의 정밀도와 신뢰도를 비교하였다. 1. The development of the low price, high reliable and useful electrochemical device Biosensors are measurement sensors consisting of the receptor part which is immobilized biocatalytic material(intact microbian cells) was deposited on electrode surface and other transducer part, which are sensitive to many physicochemical parameters. The manufacture and purchase of each part is very expensive. In this research, we made the semiconductive board to attach a personal computer to measure BOD. By utilizing this apparatus, rapid, simple and reliable BOD measurement was achived without another equipment. 2. The development of apparatus measuring dissolved oxygen. This dissolved oxygen(DO) meter is suitable to measure BOD 3. The new method to maintain activity of microorganism for long time. As microorganism have the life, in order to keep activity of it for long time. We must sustain the suitable condition for surrival of microorganism. 4. The compared BOD5 with BOD which is measured by the manufactured apparatus. The conventional BOD test requires five days, 20℃ for incubation as the compared BOD5 with fiber and food plant waste water's BOD. We can confirm the precision and reliability of manufactured apparatus.
임상학적 적용을 위한 FET형 요소센서의 제조 및 그 특성

A FET type micro urea sensor - very proper and promising shapes for in vivo, in situ measurements - had been examined on its compatibilities with clinical analysis. Investigations were performed on the interference of various amino acids, organic metabolites and waste products present in blood, which may cause interference with the sensor output. The results of the measurements of urea-nitrogen in blood plasma measurements was compared with those of conventional spectrophotometric method.

반경험적 분자궤도 함수론인 확장 HU¨ckl 법을 β-Chloro difluoro ethyl methyl sulfides, sulfoxides, sulfones에 적용하여 반응기구와 상대적인 반응속도를 설명하고 n-propyl chloride와 비교 하였다. 계산결과는 실험값과 반응성지수가 잘 일치함을 보였다. A semiempirical molecular orbital theory which is known as extended Hu¨ckel theory is applied to explain the relative reactivity and the reaction mechanism of β-Chloro difluoro ethyl methyl sulfides, sulfoxides, sufones and compared with n-propyl chloride. It has been shown that the calculated MO theoretical reactivity indices are consistent with the experimental order of the reactivity and reaction mechanism.
