목적: 골종양 환자나 외상, 골수염, 인공관절 치환술 등의 환자 등의 환자 치료에 많이 사용하는 장관골의 동종 이식에 대한 PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)의 효과를 토끼를 이용한 실험으로 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 20마리의 토끼를 대상으로 각각에 일련번호를 붙이고, 각 토끼의 양측 척골에 약 2㎝ 길이의 골편을 얻어 장관골 결손을 만들고 동시에 동종 장관골을 얻어, 홀수 토끼의 척골 골편을 짝수 토끼의 골결손 분위에 이식하고, 반대로 짝수 토끼의 척골 골편을 홀수 토끼의 골결손 분위에 이식하였다. 그 후 각 토끼의 좌측 척골 이식 부위에는 아무런 처치를 하지 않고 대조군으로 삼고, 우측 척골 이식부에는 PRP 0.7cc를 처치하여 실험군으로 삼았다. 술 후 0, 4, 8, 12주에 골이식부에 대한 방사선 촬영을 통하여 골유합 성적을 평가 비교하였다. 결과: 실험군의 척골 분절 결손부에서는 대조군에서보다 동종 분절골 이식부의 골유합이 방사선학적으로 향상된 것을 관찰 할 수 있었다. 결론: 동종 장관골 분절 이식시 PRP를 병용하여 사용할 경우 더욱 효과적인 신생조직 형성을 유도할 수 있으며, 임상에도 유용하게 적용할 수 있으리라 사료된다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of Platelet-Rich Plasma(PRP) on the healing of the allograft for the treatment of the segmental bone defect of the ulna in Rabbits. Materials and Methods: About 2 ㎝-sized segmental bone defects were created on both ulna of twenty rabbits. The rabbits were divided into two groups, even and odd number groups after numbering them from 1 to 20. The segmental bone from the odd numbered animal was transplanted to the even numbered animal, and the even numbered to the odd numbered. The left side of the ulna was grafted with a segmental allograft only. The right side of the ulna was grafted with a segmental allograft and 0.7cc of PRP. Radiographs obtained at 0, 4, 8, and 12 weeks postoperatively were graded for radiologic union. Result: The use of the combination of PRP and segmental allograft demonstrated improved healing on radiographic study compared with that demonstrated after use of allograft alone. Conclusion: The results of the study suggests that the use of the combination of PRP and segmental allograft can be considered as an alternative method to manage the segmental defect of the long bone.
Predicting content consumption from content-to-content relationships

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>As the majority of Internet traffic today is attributed to content-centric applications, there has been ever-increasing demand for highly scalable and efficient content delivery. An accurate prediction on future content consumption is essential for such demand. To address such an issue, this paper introduces a new computational approach, <I>Content Network (CN)</I> that can capture the relations among contents, and its potential applications. We conduct a measurement study to investigate how contents are inter-related from the viewpoint of content spreading on one of the popular BitTorrent portals: The Pirate Bay. Based on the large-scale dataset that contains 18 K torrents and 9 M users, we construct the CN and investigate its structural properties. Our key finding is that contents in the same community in the CN (i) belong to the same content category with 94% probability, (ii) are uploaded by the same content publisher with 76% probability, and (iii) have the similar titles with 51% probability, which implies that contents in the same community collectively contain common (shared) interests of users. Our trace-driven study demonstrates that the proposed CN model is useful in (i) content recommendation for increasing sales and (ii) content caching for networking efficiency. We believe our work can provide an important insight for content stakeholders, e.g., content providers for efficient publishing strategies, network engineers for networking efficiency, or content marketers for accurate recommendation.</P>
How to Mitigate Signal Dragging during Wardriving

<P>In wardriving, test devices in moving vehicles measure received signal strengths (RSSs) from nearby base stations (BSs) and record them with location information, which is a key component in localization technologies. In this article, the authors analyze the wardriving data in real WCDMA, GSM, and Wi-Fi networks and describe how signal dragging degrades their performance. They also propose three methods for postprocessing wardriving data to filter out any outdated BS information, thereby mitigating this effect.</P>

Due to the government"s policy of vitalizing credit card use, it has become the most common payment method in Korea. Daily use of credit card and related information technologies raise the importance of protecting personal information. However, there happened a huge leakage of about 100 million personal information from three major Korean credit card companies in 2014. Despite such a serious information security accident, the “Take No Action” paradox, which does not comply with the privacy rules based on reasonable and rational judgment, is still prevalent. This study examines how consumers’ emotion toward privacy affects their information protection behavior. We also compare the effects of cognitive evaluation and rational calculation on behavioral intention and actual behavior. The results show that consumer"s emotional and cognitive evaluation had a significant effect on their personal information protection behavior. This study contributes to extant literature by considering consumers’ emotional aspect of information security and empirically examining its effect on information protection behavior. This study also provides theoretical and practical implications by comparing and analyzing protection behavior between people who experienced personal information leakage and those who did not.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Constitutive heterochromatin undergoes a dynamic clustering and spatial reorganization during myogenic differentiation. However the detailed mechanisms and its role in cell differentiation remain largely elusive. Here, we report the identification of a muscle-specific long non-coding RNA, ChRO1, involved in constitutive heterochromatin reorganization. ChRO1 is induced during terminal differentiation of myoblasts, and is specifically localized to the chromocenters in myotubes. ChRO1 is required for efficient cell differentiation, with global impacts on gene expression. It influences DNA methylation and chromatin compaction at peri/centromeric regions. Inhibition of ChRO1 leads to defects in the spatial fusion of chromocenters, and mislocalization of H4K20 trimethylation, Suv420H2, HP1, MeCP2 and cohesin. In particular, ChRO1 specifically associates with ATRX/DAXX/H3.3 complex at chromocenters to promote H3.3 incorporation and transcriptional induction of satellite repeats, which is essential for chromocenter clustering. Thus, our results unveil a mechanism involving a lncRNA that plays a role in large-scale heterochromatin reorganization and cell differentiation.</P>
