      • 企業 Image에 관한 小考 : Corporate color를 중심으로

        The most important thing of the corporate color can be a visual effect. In recent, recognizing the importance of corporate identity, many companies are introducing a new CI contending with others. Accordingly the consumers select the importance of color first in recognizing the image of corporate. The purpose of this study is to describe the relations of corporate color and form affecting in case of selecting corporate color, the meaning of colors, the colors being affected in fashion, the corporate color of two tones, special color and the regional differences of colors. So it is to represent a good direction in case of selecting corporate color in many companies. This study will also suggest the direction of analytical method of corporate color applying image scale of NCD, and will predict and analyze the following tendency of corporate color.

      • 초등학교 학생들을 위한 과학탐구능력 측정 도구 개발

        The purpose of this study was to develop the science education items for 5th grade classes in Korean elementary school. The inquiry learning is recently showing more high achievement in learning method than traditional either extension of science inquiry skills or coefficiently score and experimental skills. Past quarter of a century, in spite of the inquiry learning declines its teaching method, but it should be encourage the teaching method of science and technology in society(STS) in and out of Korea on thesedays. There are no useful evaluation items of inquiry learning in elementary school, and so need good them according to teach the inquiry learning for achieved the goal of science teaching. The Author studied the development of instrument of measuring science inquiry skills of elementary school students. The 10 science inquiry skill properties were selected from SAPA program, with what are observing, classifying, measuring, predicting, inferring and operating instruments, controlling variabling and concluding or generalization on corporational inquiry skills in material things, motion and energy, life and earth science. The evaluation items are 25 with which divided into 10 skills that developed 2 dr 3 items for 40 minutes. Each point of validity and objectivity are 0.92 what same in the first treatment to 130 students and 177 students in second. In second(II) treatment, the standard deviation 3.712, the coefficient 0.568, average index of discrimination 0.347, index of response 63.9%, average index of difficulty 52.19, and measuring standard error 0.297. At last, the developing evaluation items are almostly very well by the indexes, but a few items(1,6 and some others) are need to change or to make clear once again.

        Small bowel leiomyoma is a rare tumor which may occur wherever smooth muscle is present. The small bowel is the most common site and it makes up 20~30% of all benign small intestinal neoplasms. A spectrum of symptoms are common ranging from nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, to massive intestinal bleeding. Bleeding is the most common symptom and is usually gross and recurrent. Occasionally it may be life threatening. But, the most serious problem is both the absence of specific clinical symptoms, and the difficulties shown in radiological diagnostics of the small bowel. If conventional diagnostic methods fail to reveal any positive findings for gastrointestinal bleeding, the diagnosis of intestinal leiomyoma should be suspected and an SMA angiography shoud be performed. The angiographic criteria of small bowel leiomyoma is very characteristic. We present a case of leiomyoma with considerable and prolonged gastrointestinal bleeding, which was diagnosed by angiography. A 61-year old woman was admitted with a history of melena over the last 10 days. An SMA angiography showed a hypervascular mass with a diameter of 3×3cm. A segmental resection was performed under the impression of the gastrointestinal bleeding due to leiomyoma of the small bowel. Microscopic examination of the lesion shows interlacing or whorl bundles of spindle shaped ces and no mitosis.

        The research on the efficacy of rare ginsenosides in comparison to that of major ginsenosides has not been performed systematìcally and is insufficient, Therefore, with based on the literature survey, the efficacy of the rare ginsenosides, such as Rg6, Rg4, Rk3, and Rh4, is reviewed, and the direction for further research is presented. Sìnce ginsenosides Rg6, Rg4, Rk3, and Rh4 show very diverse and strong activities in various disease models, such as antioxidant activity, anticancer activity, immunity enhancing activity, antì-microbial activity, etc., it can be strong potential candidates as new materials derived from natural materials for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics. and food industry. However, most research is limited to the in-vitro efficacy. Therefore, to systematically investigate the in-vivo effìcacy of individual ginsenosides is required for the application of the ingredients. To do that, it is essential to establish standardized mass production and iso-lation method for individual rare ginsenosides

      • 健康한 韓國人의 動脈血液 가스 및 酸一鹽基 平衡値에 對한 觀察

        The purpose of this paper is to make an attempt in this investigation to determine normal adult values of arterial blood gas and acid-base balance in 53 healthy Korean male and female subjects of varying age and then compare with the data obtained by others. Determinations of the acid-base status of the arterial blood were performed at 37℃ by the Astrup method using a radiometer instruments, consisted of BGA2A/3-MK 2 system. The mean and standard errors of each component were as follows: pH 7.42±0.043, oxygen saturation 96.96±0.089%, pO?? 97.66±0.91mmHg, pCO?? 37.08±0.68mmHg, CO?? content 24.29±0.43mM/L, bicarbonate 23.26±0.68mM/L, buffer base 46.56±0.66mEg/L, and base excess -0.024±0.001mEg/S. Compared with normal adult values in literatures, all the components of the data appear to be in the same range without any significant difference.

        An Elementary Teacher's Practical Knowledge of Using Mathematical Tasks for Promoting Students' Understanding and Discourse

        This study described an elementary teacher's practical knowledge of selecting and using mathematical tasks for promoting students' understanding and discourse. The informant of this ethnographic inquiry was a third grade teacher and has 10 years of teaching experience. According to the analysis of multiple data sources, this study showed that based on his beliefs about the development of understanding of mathematics and discourse, he continually employed two different types of tasks: open-ended tasks and tasks from students' mistakes and comments during discourse. Teachers' practical knowledge of teaching mathematics and the classroom norms for students' understanding and discourse are suggested to be given attention for further research on this area.

        Effect of extracorporeal shock wave therapy on scar pain in burn patients : A prospective, randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled study

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>Background:</B></P><P>Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) has been used to reduce pain in patients with various musculoskeletal diseases and wounds. We investigated the effect of ESWT on scar pain after complete wound epithelialization in burn patients.</P><P><B>Methods:</B></P><P>A prospective, single-blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted from February 2014 to 2015. Forty patients with burn scar pain despite standard therapy (medication, physical therapy, and burn rehabilitation massage therapy) were randomized into ESWT or control (sham ESWT) groups. ESWT was administered at 100 impulses/cm<SUP>2</SUP> (0.05–0.15 mJ/mm<SUP>2</SUP>) once per week for 3 weeks. The treatment effects were assessed using the numerical rating scale (NRS), pain threshold, Nirschl pain phase system, and Roles and Maudsley scores.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>The characteristics of patients between the 2 study groups were balanced (<I>P</I> >0.05) for age, sex, and total burn surface area (%). In both groups, the NRS, pain threshold (Ib/cm<SUP>2</SUP>), and Nirschl pain phase system values significantly improved (<I>P</I> <0.05) after 3 sessions of ESWT or sham therapy, and there were significant differences between the 2 groups in terms of these 3 variables (<I>P</I> <0.001, <I>P</I> <0.001, <I>P</I> = 0.013, respectively). The Roles and Maudsley scores significantly improved; among 20 patients, 17 reported a score of poor (85%) and 3 reported fair (15%) before ESWT, whereas 3 reported poor (15%), 8 reported fair (40%), 5 reported good (25%), and 4 reported excellent (20%) after ESWT (<I>P</I> = 0.004). The scores did not improve in the control group (<I>P</I> = 0.128).</P><P><B>Conclusion:</B></P><P>ESWT significantly reduced scar pain in burn patients after wound recovery.</P>

        Social Construction of Mathematics Understanding among Student Peers in Small Group Settings

        The purpose of this review of literature is to investigate what kinds of research have been done on social construction of mathematics understanding among elementary students in small groups. Only empirical studies were reviewed, and then grouping was done in terms of the purpose of the study. This grouping identified three categories: 1) Social and mathematical norms in mathematics classroom, 2) Teaching productive communication behaviors for active learning in small group, and 3) Participation roles and communication behaviors in different group structure. To enhance social construction of mathematics understanding in small group settings two suggestions are made: the importance of the selection of collaborative tasks or problems and teachers' beliefs about mathematics and the teaching an learning of mathematics.
