        채종박 품질이 이유돈의 성장에 미치는 영향

        This study was made to evaluate the nutritional values and glucosinolate contents of three types of rapeseed oil meal(RSM), originated from Canada(canola), China(CRSM:Chinese Rapeseed Oil Meal) and India (IRSM:Indian Rapeseed Oil Meal), and their dietary effects on the performance of weanling pigs. Nutritional evaluation included the contents of moisture, crude protein(CP), ether extracts (EE), crude fiber(CF), Ash, Ca and P, KOH solubility, tannin, and glucosinolate contents of each RSM. Total of two hundred-forty weanling pigs weighing about 20㎏ initially were housed in 24 pens with 10 pigs per pen. The thirty animals were assigned to one of eight rations : T₁ (0% RSM + 2% molasses), T₂ (6% canola + 2% molasses), T₃ (6% CRSM + 2% Molasses), T₄(6% IRSM + 2% molasses), T_5 (0% RSM + 5% molasses), T_6 (6% Canola + 5% molasses). T_7 (6% CRSM + 5% molasses), T_8 (6% IRSM + 5% molasses). During the experimental period, body weight and feed intakes were measured weekly and feed conversion rates were calculated. The results obtained from this experiments are summarized as follows. 1. The KOH solubility of canola, CRSM and IRSM was found to be 54.6, 35.7 and 64.8%, respectively. The glucosinolate contents of canola, CRSM and IRSM were found to be 0.11, 0.22 and 0.79%, respectively. 2. There were no significant differences between the 2% molasses and the 5% molasses supplemented groups in feed intake and body weight gain. 3. The 6% CRSM(T₃, T_7) and IRSM(T₄, T_8) groups were significantly (P$lt;0.05) inferior to the control groups(T₁, T_5) and 6% canola groups(T₂, T_6) in feed intake and body weight gains. The control groups(T₂, T_6) were significantly (P$lt;0.05) superior to the 6% canola groups(T₂, T_6), 6% CRSM(T₃, T_7) and 6% IRSM groups(T₄, T_8) in feed conversion rate.

        Nutritional and Hormonal Induction of Fatty Liver Syndrome and Effects of Dietary Lipotropic Factors in Egg-type Male Chicks

        This experiment was conducted with male chicks to investigate the influence of hormones and nutrients on the development of fatty liver syndrome (FLS) as well as the effects of dietary lipotropic factors on hepatic fat accumulation and lipogenic enzyme gene expression. A total of two-hundred sixteen 4-wk-old Hy-Line male chicks were divided into six groups and fed an experimental diet (T1, low-energy diet with low levels of lipotropic factors; T2, high-energy diet with low levels of lipotropic factors; T3 and T5, low-energy diet with high levels of lipotropic factors; T4 and T6, high-energy diet with high levels of lipotropic factors) for six weeks. The chicks in T5 and T6 groups were treated with intramuscular injections of estradiol benzoate for three days prior to biopsy and clinical analysis of FLS. Chicks treated with estrogen had significantly greater liver weights than untreated chicks. The abdominal fat contents were increased in chicks consuming high-energy diets as compared to those consuming low-energy diets. Treatment with estrogen significantly increased the concentrations of serum cholesterol, triacylglycerol and phospholipid (p<0.05). The hepatic triacylglycerol levels were tenfold higher in the estrogen treated chicks than in the untreated chicks. There were no significant differences in malondialdehyde levels between the treatment groups. Estrogen treatment dramatically increased the levels of fatty acid synthetase, acetyl-CoA carboxylase and ApoB mRNA. The results indicated that treatment with exogenous estrogen in growing male chicks induced hepatic fat accumulation, which might be partially due to increased lipogenic enzyme gene expression.

        <tex> $ \phi $</tex> photoproduction on the proton at <tex> $ E_{\gamma }=1.5\hbox{--}2.9\;\mathrm{GeV}$</tex>

        <P>Differential cross sections at t = t(min) and decay asymmetries for the gamma p -> phi p reaction have been measured using linearly polarized photons in the range 1.5 to 2.9 GeV. These cross sections were used to determine the Pomeron strength factor. The cross sections and decay asymmetries are consistently described by the t-channel Pomeron and pseudoscalar exchange model in the E-gamma region above 2.37 GeV. In the lower energy region, an excess over the model prediction is observed in the energy dependence of the differential cross sections at t = t(min). This observation suggests that additional processes or interference effects between Pomeron exchange and other processes appear near the threshold region.</P>

        Photoproduction of <tex> $ \Uplambda $</tex> and <tex> $ \Upsigma ^{0}$</tex> hyperons off protons with linearly polarized photons at <tex> $ E_{\gamma }=1.5\hbox{--}3.0$</tex> GeV

        <P>We report the measurement of the gamma p -> K+Lambda and gamma p -> K+Sigma(0) reactions at SPring-8. The differential cross sections and photon-beam asymmetries are measured at forward K+ production angles using linearly polarized tagged-photon beams in the range of E-gamma = 1.5-3.0 GeV. With increasing photon energy, the cross sections for both gamma p -> K+Lambda and gamma p -> K+Sigma(0) reactions decrease slowly. Distinct narrow structures in the production cross section have not been found at E gamma = 1.5-3.0 GeV. The forward peaking in the angular distributions of cross sections, a characteristic feature of t-channel exchange, is observed for the production of Lambda in the whole observed energy range. A lack of similar feature for Sigma(0) production reflects a less dominant role of t-channel contribution in this channel. The photon-beam asymmetries remain positive for both reactions, suggesting the dominance of K* exchange in the t channel. These asymmetries increase gradually with the photon energy, and have a maximum value of +0.6 for both reactions. Comparison with theoretical predictions based on the Regge trajectory in the t channel and the contributions of nucleon resonances indicates the major role of t-channel contributions as well as non-negligible effects of nucleon resonances in accounting for the reaction mechanism of hyperon photoproduction in this photon energy regime.</P>

        목초액 함유 활성탄의 첨가가 육계 생산성 및 계란 내 항생제 잔류에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 목초액 함유 활성탄(activated charcoal mixed with wood vinegar, AC)의 급여가 육계의 생산성 및 산란계에서 혈중 및 계란내 항생제 수준에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 본 연구를 실시하였다. 실험 1은 450수의 1일령 육용종 Ross 수평아리를 공시하여 처리당 3반복 반복당 25수씩 완전임의 배치하고, 항생제 0%(T1), 항생제 0.1%(T2), AC 1%(T3), AC 1% + 항생제 0.1%(T4), AC 2% (T5), AC 2% + 항생제 0.1%(T6)를 함유하는 실험 사료를 각각 5주간 급여하였다. 사료 섭취량과 증체량은 주 단위로 조사하여 성장 성적에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 실험 5주차 종료시에 각 처리구별로 10수씩 선발하여 도살하였고, 간, 복강지방, 가슴육, 기타 기관의 상대적 중량을 측정함으로서 도체 특성을 조사하였다. 가식성 근육의 물리적 특성은 가열 감량, 전단력가, 보수력, 육색을 측정하였고, 육질의 관능적 특성은 연도, 맛, 풍미, 다즙성 등을 측정하였다. 장 내 균 총 변화에 미치는 영향에서 총 균수, 대장균 및 유산균수를 조사하였다. 실험 2는 40주령의 Hy-Line Brown 산란계 90수를 공시하여 항생제 0.5%에 AC 0%(C), AC 1.0%(T1), AC 2.0%(T2)를 함유하는 실험 사료를 각각 2주간 급여하였다. 종료 후 혈액 채취 및 계란을 수거하여 혈액 및 계란 내 항생제 잔류 수준을 측정하였다. 실험 1에서 사료 섭취량, 증체량 및 사료 요구율은 처리구간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 대사 에너지, 조 단백질 및 기타 필수 영양소 수준을 고려하면 AC의 급여가 성장에 부정적인 영향은 없는 것으로 판단되었다. 간, 복강 지방, 가슴육, 기타 기관의 상대적 중량에서는 처리간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 보수력과 가열감량 항목에서는 처리간에 큰 차이가 없었으나, 전단력가는 대조구에 비해 AC 첨가구에서 유의하게 높아지는(P<0.05) 경향을 나타내었다. 대조구에 비해 실험구에서 적색도는 낮아지는 경향을, 황색도는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 풍미, 연도, 다즙성 및 총체적 선호도 항목 모두 처리간에 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 장 내 총균수, coli form 및 lactic acid bacteria 수는 항생제를 첨가한 (+) 대조구와 AC를 첨가한 처리구가 항생제를 첨가하지 않은 (-) 대조구에 비해 유의하게 낮은 수준이거나(P<0.05), 낮은 경향을 보였다. 실험 2에서는 AC 급여에 의해 혈청 및 계란 내 항생제 잔류량이 유의하게 감소하는 결과가 관찰되었다(P<0.05). 특히 AC급여 수준이 증가함에 따라 계란 내 항생제 잔류량은 유의하게 감소하였다. 본 연구에서는 육계 사료 내 AC의 첨가 급여가 생산된 계육의 외관적 특성을 개선시키는 효과가 시사되었고, 장내 총균수, 대장균 및 유산균수를 감소시키는 시키는 결과를 보였다. 산란계 사료 내 AC의 첨가 급여가 혈청 및 계란 내 항생제 잔류를 감소시키는 결과를 나타내었다. Two experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of dietary activated charcoal mixed with wood vinegar (AC) on broiler performance and antibiotics residue in eggs. In experiment 1, a total of low hundred fifty, 1-day-old male broile. chicks (Ross) were divided into 6 groups, consisting 3 replicates of 25 birds each, and 134 one of the six experimental diets: devoid of AC and antibiotics (negative control), devoid of AC with 0.1% antibiotics (positive control), devoid of antibiotics with 1% AC, with 0.1% antibiotics and 1% AC, devoid of antibiotics with 2% AC, with 0.1% antibiotics and 2% AC, for 5 wks. Feed consumption and body weights were measured weekly. At the end of the experiment, eight birds from each group were selected and sacrificed. The relative weight of organs and characteristics of breast muscle were investigated. There were no significant differences in feed intake, body weight gain and feed conversion rate among the treatments. There were also no significant differences in the relative weight of breast meat, leg and liver. The abdominal fat tended to be decreased by the dietary AC. Significant differences were shown (P<0.05) in meat redness (a) and yellowness (b) among the treatments. However, the sensual characteristics of breast muscle was not affected by the dietary treatments. There were significant differences in total microbes, Coli forms and lactic acid bacteria (P<0.05) among the treatments. In experiment 2, a total of ninety, 40-wk-old Hy-line Brown laying hens were divided into 3 groups, consisting 3 replicates of 10 birds each and fed medicated control diet devoid of AC or diets containing 1% AC and 2% AC for 2 wks. The residue of antibiotics in Plasma and egg Yolk were significantly decreased (P<0.05) in 2% AC group compared to that of control. This study suggest that dietary AC may improve the external quality of edible meat and reduced antibiotics residue in chicken eggs without affecting laying performance.

        Manufacturing progress on the first sector and lower ports for ITER vacuum vessel

        Manufacturing design of Korean sectors and ports for the ITER Vacuum Vessel (VV) has been developed to comply with the tight tolerance and severe inspection requirements. The first VV sector and lower ports are being fabricated slowly under strict regulations after verification using several real scale mock-ups and qualifications for welding, forming and NDE. During three years after start of fabrication, manufacturing progress on four poloidal segments of the first sector is that (1) all inner shells were welded, (2) forgings for complicate components have been machined, (3) port stubs and poloidal T-ribs were assembled, and (4) machined components are welded on the inner shells by narrow-gap TIG welding and electron beam welding. The progress of lower ports is that (1) inner shells of stub extensions were bent and treated with heat, (2) T-ribs were fabricated and examined by qualified phased array UT, (3) supporting pads and gussets have been machined, and (4) inner shells are assembled with T-ribs and machined forgings. The progress rate of manufacturing is around 40% up to the end of 2015 for the first sector and lower port stub extensions.

        Evolution of preferences in one-shot prisoner"s dilemma

          Can cooperation evolve in one-shot prisoner"s dilemma? Utilizing an indirect evolutionary framework that separates objective payoffs and utilities, I show that preferences that are consistent with conditional cooperation in one-shot prisoner"s dilemma can evolve along with strictly self-interested preferences. The ability to detect others" preference types is critical for the evolution of reciprocal preferences. In the evolutionary equilibria, both the strictly self-interested preferences and reciprocal preferences coexist and both cooperation and defection are observed. These results complement the folk theorem and the standard evolutionary models by providing an alternative evolutionary logic of cooperation.
