Laugier-Hunziker syndrome (LHS) is a rare acquired benign macular hyperpigmentation of the lips and oral mucosa which is often associated with longitudinal melanonychia. LHS is known to be an entirely benign condition with no systemic manifestations, which requires patient reassurance as the only intervention. The significance of this condition is due to its inclusion in differential diagnoses of pigmentary disorders of the oral mucosa, especially Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. We report a case of Laugier-Hunziker syndrome in a 66-year-old woman who presented with longitudinal pigmented bands on her fingernails and multiple, pigmented macules on the lip and tongue. In rock mass, great many discontinuity exists that is caused to various factors of formation. But these are parted to some groups by specific category, so called these as discontinuity set. This discontinuity set has unique special characteristics in original rock mass, but for the moment, differ the special quality if external force such as digging etc.. acts, specially, change of stress condition. Also, geometrical relation change between discontinuity orientation and direction of excavation various characteristic is seen. Therefore, we introduce here the useful chart that can do specification these relation.

Corrugated structural plate is ductile structural member which has high sectional properties compared with same thickness of plate. Corrugated plate resists the external forces by the combined action of retained soils and structures. Since it is easy to transport and assemblage of in-situ, the duration and cost of construction can be reduced. Corrugated plate structures, therefore, are widely used in culverts, hydro passages and simple bridges. RC culvert with supported by unstable soil layersin railway construction project of pohang~samchuk has been replaced by corrugated plate culvert due to the reduction of construction duration andcost, especially the performance of behavior of settlement of ground. The structural analysis, design processes, and the economic advantages of the corrugated plate culvert are studied in this paper.

Two-phase magnetoelectric (ME) composites consisting of piezoelectric and magnetostrictive materials have been developed with strong attention for potential applications such as energy harvesters, sensors, memory devices even drug-delivery systems. In order to get a high feasibility of ME composites, ME thin films with one-dimensional (1D) piezoelectric nanostructures have been approached to minimize clamping effect from a rigid substrate, which is a dominant factor resulting in a low ME voltage. In this study, we have developed ME thin films via coating of TiO<sub>x</sub>@CoFe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> core-shell nanoparticles onto 1D BaTiO<sub>3</sub> nanotubes. The 1D BaTiO<sub>3</sub> nanotubes were synthesized as a piezoelectric matrix by Ti anodizing and post topochemical conversion. The TiO<sub>x</sub>@CoFe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> nanoparticles as an insulated magnetostrictive phase were synthesized by hydrothermal method and then were coated onto 1D BaTiO<sub>3</sub> nanotubes.
