Successful coating of high quality glassy carbon is introduced by applying high pressure during the curing process of dip-coated phenol resin on graphite. The dependence of the applied pressure on the quality of the glassy carbon layer has not been reported so far. Pressure was changed from 0 to 400 psi during curing at 200℃. After carbonized at 1100℃ in inert atmosphere for the 400 psicured sample, as a promising result, a thick (~ 3 mm) and smooth glassy carbon layer could be obtained without any breakage, and the yield of carbonization was remarkably increased. It is believed that the cross-linking of resins results in decreasing volatile contents and, thus, increasing the yield of the glassy carbon. The origin of the improvement is discussed on the basis of several analytical results including FE-SEM, FT-IT and Raman spectrum.
국별 발전단계를 고려한 맞춤형 ITS 수출 모델 수립 연구

글로벌 지능형교통시스템(ITS)시장은 급격한 성장률을 보이고 있으며, 국내 ITS기업들의해외진출노력이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 하지만 현지 진출에 수반되는 비용에 대한 부담과 진출 국가의 전략 부재로 국내 기업의 글로벌 ITS사업 수주는 국내 ITS기술력에 비하여 낮은 수준이다, 국가차원에서 민간기업과 해외 ITS사업 참여를 적극 추진하고 있지만, ITS특화전략의 부재로 한계성을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 기업이 진출을 희망하는 국가대상으로 맞춤형 ITS수출모델을 수립하여 현지 진출 전략을 수립 및 해외 ITS사업 수주에 기여하고자 국별 발전단계를 고려한 맞춤형 ITS수출 모델 수립 연구를 추진하였다. The global intelligent transport systems (ITS) market is experiencing rapid growth, and domestic ITS companies' efforts to extend its business abroad are steadily increasing. However, due to the burden of costs associated with the overseas expansion and the lack of strategy for local market, domestic companies' contracts for global businesses are far short of the technology. Although the government is actively promoting Korean enterprises’ participation to overseas business, it has obvious limits due to the lack of its specialized strategy. This study established a customized export model for the countries in which Korean companies want to enter, and developed a strategy to advance into the local market.
Dimethy 1 Sulfoxide (DMSO) 가 개구리 피부에서 능동적 Sodium 이동에 미치는 영향

As an attempt to evaluate any possible effects of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) on the phenomena of membrane transport, effects on the short-circuit current (SCC) and potential difference (PD) across the isolated frog skin were studied under the conditions of various bathing medium, Changes of SCC and PD were measured by the method described by Ussing and Zerahn. Addition of DMSO to the inside bathing medium resulted in an initial increase in SCC followed by a secondary decline to pre-DMSO level, while DMSO at outside medium was without effect. Dose-responses(SCC) relationship revealed a linear one from 30 to 60 mM. Substitution of chloride by sulfate ion from bathing medium caused no alteration in the basic pattern and magnitude of response, thus indicating the specificity of DMSO action on the Na transport. Hypertonic solutions of DMSO added to either outer or inner bathing medium evoked a prompt fall in SCC and PD consistently. By isotopic measurement of sodium fluxes with Na24, it was evident that increased sodium influx was entirely responsible for the initial increase in SCC induced by DMSO. Of various parameters concerned with transepithelial Na transport, outer membrane permeability to Na (PoNa) was shown to be the onIy parameter which was significantly elevated by DMSO administration. From these findings, it was postulated that DMSO-induced increment in sodium influx was mediated by its stimulating action on the sodium penctration through the outer permeability barricr after binding to a receptor site different from that for the antidiuretic hormone (ADH.)
