Korean book culture changes following the time flow and the bookstore should be changed into a space to fill the user"s need. Bosudong bookstore alley having the 60-year-old history is a place representing the Korean old book culture but it is declining quickly due to the change of the book distribution system and the backward infra. On the other hand, Small Library is rising as a central space of the community facility and is establishing itself as a small-sized cultural space leading a new book culture. Although Small Library uses a name of library, it does not only mean the physical space such as the public library but also means a library that changes the life and society made by the voluntary participation of local residents. This study suggests a direction for developing into a community facility of Small Library and analyzes the coexistence program using the local feature. The case that satisfies the basic concept(space composition) of the library and that +A function(contents) are utilized as an exchange space is analyzed. Small Library is expected to be a local community which will lead a new book culture by planning a space after researching/analyzing a new pattern driving from the reading/exchange behavior, and by suggesting a proper exchange program.

보문 : ZnO와 TiO2 함유 복합나노섬유의 제조와 유해물질분해 성능 평가

This research investigates the application of ZnO (zinc oxide) nanoparticles and TiO2 (titanium dioxide) nanoparticles to polypropylene nonwoven fabrics via an electrospinning technique for the development of textile materials that can decompose harmful gases. To fabricate uniform ZnO nanocomposite fibers, two types of ZnO nanoparticles were applied. Colloidal TiO2 nanoparticles were chosen to fabricate TiO2 nano- composite fibers. ZnO/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and TiO2/PVA nanocomposite fibers were electrospun under a variety of conditions that include various feed rates, electric voltages, and capillary diameters. The morphology of electrospun nanocomposite fibers was examined with a field-emission scanning electron micro- scope and a transmission electron microscope. Decomposition efficiency of gaseous materials (formaldehyde, ammonia, toluene, benzene, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide) by nanocomposite fiber webs with 3wt% nano- particles (ZnO or TiO2) and 7g/m2 web area density was assessed. This study shows that ZnO nanoparticles in colloid were more suitable for fabricating nanocomposite fibers in which nanoparticles are evenly dispersed than in powder. A heat treatment was applied to water-soluble PVA nanofiber webs in order to stabilize the electrospun nanocomposite fibrous structure against dissolution in water. ZnO/PVA and TiO2/PVA nanofiber webs exhibited a range of degradation efficiency for different types of gases. For nitrogen dioxide, the degradation efficiency was 92.2% for ZnO nanocomposite fiber web and 87% for TiO2 nanocomposite fiber web after 20 hours of UV light irradiation. The results indicate that ZnO/PVA and TiO2/PVA nanocomposite fiber webs have possible uses in functional textiles that can decompose harmful gases.

太豆懶解를 위한 Bacillus subtilis 園林의 純釋分t維에 關한 硏究

The study was carried out to investigate for the property of Bacillus strains, on the native growthed microflora in Korean native soybean paste, and Bacillus strains of the high enzyme produc:ing, were selected and identificated, from the microflora, that is, identificated Bacillus strains beared resemblance to B. subtilis, on the colony, appearance was pe1lic1e, surface’s spreadj,ng, color creamy-thin browned, colony elevation flated, and edge lobated, the identificated B. subtilis strain named for the B. subtilis SCF. For the protease activity of B. subtilis SCF, according to the variation with pH, the pH stabi1ity was pH 7 8, and on the its protease activity, optimum temperature was 400 C, on the other hand, temperature of the highest stabi1ity of the protease was 500 C.

성리학의 시적 실천

본고는 삼연(三淵) 김창흡(金昌翕, 1653-1722)의 만년에 창작된 연작시〈갈역잡영〉(葛驛雜詠) 392수를 대상으로 하여 삼연이 성리학을 어떻게 시적으로 실천했는지를 살펴본다. 삼연은 시를 학문보다 더 중요하게 추구한 시인으로 알려져 있는데, 〈갈역잡영〉의 경우에는 시의 사상적 토대로서 성리학이 중요하게 요청되고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 삼연은 〈갈역잡영〉에서 성리학 자체를 비판한다기보다, 오히려 성리학이 실질적으로 궁구되고 있지 않는 당대의 현실을 성찰한다. 삼연은 성리학을 인접 담론과의 맥락적 관계, 유학의 통시적 전통, 당대 조선의 공시적 상황을 통해서 입체적으로 반성한다. 그는 성리학의 제도적 폐단에 대해서는 경계하면서도, 성리학적 세계를 객관적이고 개성적으로 추구한 인물들에 대해서는 새로운 시각으로 발견해 내고자 했다. 삼연은 〈갈역잡영〉에서 자신의 사상적 토대인 성리학을 객관화하면서, 시적 진리의 중요한 주제이자 방법론으로서 격물치지(格物致知)를 부각시킨다. 그리고 실제로 격물치지의 방법론을 통해 자신을 물고기, 파리 등과 같은 물(物)에 비해 오히려 낮추어 보며 겸손한 수신(修身)을 추구한다. 격물치지를 통해 나타나는 시적 주체와 물(物)의 서정적 동일화는 18세기 조선의 철학담론인 인물성동론(人物性同論)이 시적으로 구현되는 방식이라고도 할 수 있다. 〈갈역잡영〉에서는 치인(治人)을 통한 정치학 대신 ‘작은 인(小仁)’에 도달하는 윤리학이 시적 실천의 궁극적인 목표가 된다. This essay delves into Samyeon Kim Changheup(1653-1722)`s serial poetry called the Poems of Garyok and reveals how the poet embodies Neo-Confucianism in terms of poetics. Samyeon is well-known as a literati-poet of the late Chosun, who is said to have put more emphasis on poetry than on Neo-Confucian scholarship. However, the Poems of Garyok show that their ideological basis is, undoubtedly, Neo- Confucianism. Instead of criticizing the Neo-Confucianism itself, Samyeon refects on his time, when Neo-Confucianism was not pursued properly. He comes up with multidimensional reflections on it in terms of discursive contexts, diachronic tradition of Confucianism, and synchronic situation of Chosun. He also endeavors to illuminate those who pursue Neo-Confucian perspectives objectively and characteristically. Samyeon objectifies his own ideological background or Neo-Confucianism and calls upon the concept of investigation of things and perfection of knowledge(格物致知) as an important theme and methodology for poetic truth. He achieves modest self-civilization(修身) by lowering himself compared to small things such as fish and a fly. His lyrical identification with things, which is configured by the Neo-Confucian methodology, is also related with the philosophical discourse on the sameness of the nature of human and things(人物性同論) of eighteenth-century Chosun. In the Poems of Garyok, what becomes the ultimate goal of poetic practice is ethics towards benevolence(仁) rather than real politics.

온라인 학습 활동 데이터의 시각화를 위한 요소 설계

최근 IT 기술이 발전함에 따라 교육형태도 많이 발전되고 있다. 특히 IT 기기를 활용할 수 있는 온라인 교육에 집중되고 있다. 온라인 교육 시스템 중 하나인 MOOT(Massive Open Online Textbook)이 주목받고 있다. MOOT는 텍스트 중심의 교육 기반이며, 온라인 교재 내에 실습환경이 있어 언제 어디서나 학습자가 자기주도적인 학습을 할 수 있도록 도와준다. 온라인을 통해 학습하기 때문에 수많은 학습자의 학습현황을 쉽게 파악할 수 없는 문제점이 제기되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 데이터 결과를 한 눈에 파악할 수 있도록 시각화를 제안하여, MOOT시스템 내에서 학습한 고려대학교 343명의 학생 데이터를 기반으로 학습자 데이터 시각화를 설계하였다.

불교문화콘텐츠개발과 산업화방안

The study is about the utilization and development of the prototype of Buddhist culture as the creative elements of cultural contents industry by making it as contents. The purpose of this study is to check the way how these subjects could be applied to the real cultural contents industry. Throughout this study, the concept and status of the overall cultural industry have been described to help understand the cultural industry itself and particularly presentation materials have been collected from the people in cultural contents industry for the use later in real cultural industry field. Also, an analysis has been conducted to understand the utilization process of cultural contents industry in worldwide markets. Korean Buddhist culture can be considered as the treasure house of cultural contents resources and a comprehensive art refined over the past 1,700 years. Therefore, for the active development and industrialization of Buddhist culture contents, database should be established and re-processed to create modem contents and continuous long term investment is required.

The Effect of Directed Reading-Thinking Activity Using Children's Literature on Primary English Education

This study aims to develop children's literature-based Directed Reading-Thinking Activity model for English teaching and learning using graphic organizers in elementary schools. The subjects are fourteen sixth grade students who participated in the extracurricular activities in an elementary school. This model is made up of the following three phases: 1) the "Predicting, Reading, and Proving" process to delve into each different phase of the text, 2) the use of graphic organizers to grasp at the gist of the textual flow, and 3) the "Expanding and Refining Concepts" step to go beyond the textual boundaries on the basis of students' prior knowledge. The researcher has analyzed students' English ability test results, learning journals, teaching journals, interviews, and the survey results about both students' reading strategies and their affective domain responses. The overall appreciations of story elements in literary texts were also included in the analysis process. The major findings are as follows. First, this model contributed to improving students' English ability, especially for the higher level students. Second, the "Predicting, Reading, and Proving" process is effective in developing students' reading strategies as well as improving their overall reading comprehension. Third, the middle and lower level students pose more positive attitudes to the graphic organizer-based tests than the higher level students. Finally, this model shows positive improvements in the affective domain, except confidence and anxiety. In conclusion, this study has pedagogical implications on English teaching and learning.

파이퍼와 바드 : 『순수의 노래』와 『경험의 노래』에 나타난 예언의 소리

Song of Innocence and Song of Experience criticize the established way of seeing and thinking, and proclaim the regeneration of Earth through the prophetic speakers, Piper and Bard. The Piper perceives the world by way of transcending the barriers of time and space and of the divine, the human, and the natural. Innocence, despite its limitations, is seen as the essence of humanity which Blake prophesy will realize in the future, and has something inseparable to do with imaginative perception. But, unlike the Piper, the Bard is conscious of his ability to penetrate these barriers, and he uses this ability, as well as his power of insight, in order to reform the condition of society and mankind. Through the Bard, Blake reveals that the ultimate cause of social evils consists not in the established systems but in the "mind-forged manacles," the passive psychology that accepts them and looks upon them as the inevitable things. Blake renders his prophetic perception of the world through his own rhetorical and experimental poetic devices such as syntactical and semantic ambiguities, and organic and transfiguring uses of religious, political, and literary traditions. And he also delivers the reader's mentality from the confines of established conception and conventional modes of thinking and awakens man's dormant capacity for perception of the infinite in the world.
