Effects of alkyl group of fatty acid in flow modifiers

In this work, we investigated the effects of flow modifiers in glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA 66/GF) composites. The flow modifiers with different molecular structures were successfully prepared by the reaction of dodecamethylenediamine and various fatty acids. The fatty acids used in the synthesis were stearic acid, myristic acid and decanoic acid. PA 66/GF composites were melt compounded and the prepared flow modifier was also compounded simultaneously while recording the resulting motor torque. Performance of flow modifier was evaluated using in-situ spiral flow mold and shear viscosities of the composites were investigated using capillary rheometer, respectively. The dodecamethylene bis decanoamide shows the most effective torque reduction in neat PA66 and reinforced PA66 composites. In 50wt% glass fiber filled composites, the torque during compounding has decreased approximately 18% at 1phr concentration of dodecamethylene bis decanoamide. Generally, the shorter the alkyl group of fatty acids showed more effective torque reduction and flowability.

약 3000년 전부터 중국에서 시작된 동양의학의 하나인 acupuncture는 최근 관심이 급증하는 보완대체의학의 하나로서 현대의학에 도입하려는 움직임이 조심스럽게 일고 있다. 현대의학은 과학적이고 눈에 보이는 측정 가능한 양적인 이미지를 지향하는 데 반해서, 전통적인 동양의학은 음양오행과 같은 철학적인 사상에 근거해서 건강과 질병을 이해하고 식별해내려 하였기 때문에 진단과 치료에 복잡한 상관성을 가지고 있어, 과학적인 임상 결과를 얻는 데 어려움이 많다.National Institute of Health (NIH)의 Consensus Development Panel on Acupuncture에서는 의학의 입장에서 acupuncture를 어떻게 받아들일 것인가에 대해서 'acupuncture는 화학요법과 관련된 오심, 구토, 성인에서의 수술 후 통증 및 수술 후 치통에 효과가 있었으며, 각종 중독, 뇌졸중 후 재활, 두통, 월경통, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia (섬유근육통), myofascial pain (근막통), 골관절염, 하부 요통, carpal tunnel syndrome (수근관 증후군), 천식에 도움이 될 수 있다'라고 발표하였다. 그렇지만 근거중심적 문헌 고찰을 통한 한 연구에서는 다소 다른 의견을 주장하기도 하였다.Acupuncture에 대한 전반적인 것을 살펴보고, acupuncture 임상 연구에 자주 등장하였던 몇몇 acupuncture point에 대해 설명함으로써, 이들 연구를 대할 때 이해를 돕고, acupuncture를 선호하는 환자를 진료할 때 도움이 되고자 하였다. This study not only provides a way to promote local tourism products to sports facilities, but also to assist in promoting tourism as a means of promoting tourism to local development rather than being limited to the running and operation of sporting events. The real idea is that the Samsung Lions' Daegu Samsung Lions Park, which is based in Daegu, is a 150-square stadium, and uses the name of each area as a means to mark the city's administrative district. For doors, use the name National Park or Mountain, for the viewing room to promote products that meet the characteristics of the intended audience, and for pathways, to promote typical streets or specialized streets. In addition, it is also a good idea to install signs of local representative products and destinations for each seat, and to promote local tourism products on ticket. It is also considered a good idea to install a sculpture using the space around the stadium so that people can look around the whole terrain and cultural products of Daegu city, and to make use of the names of each area's representative products and tourism resources. It also encourages the introduction of local representative products on electronic boards and LED billboards in the stadium, and to introduce local stores and sporting goods stores with symbolic designs to promote local products. Of course, substantial management of these measures would require the cooperation of the local governments and Samsung Lions teams to come first.

정부 연구개발 지원이 코스닥 기업의 외국인 지분율에 미치는 영향: PSM DID 순차적 적용을 통한 분석

시장신호(market signaling) 이론은 정보의 비대칭성이 개별 경제주체의 경제활동에 미치는 영향을 설명하기 위해 고안된 이론이다. 본 연구는 시장신호 이론에 기초하여 정부의 연구 개발 지원이 외국인 지분율 변화에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석하였다. 외국인 투자자는 일반적으로 내국인 투자자들에 비해 상대적으로 현지 기업에 대한 정보가 부족하다. 본 연구 의 기본 가정은 정부의 연구개발 (R&D) 지원은 정보가 내국인 투자자에 비해 상대적으로 부족한 외국인 투자자에게 이 기업이 괜찮은 기업이라는 신호를 보냄으로써 투자지분을 늘리게 하는 시장 신호가 될 수 있다는 것이다. 그리고 정부의 R&D지원과 외국인 투자자 지분간의 정(+)의 관계는 기업의 규모가 작을수록 수출 비중이 낮을수록, 그리고 비가족기업에서 보다는 가족기업에서 더 두드러지게 나타날 것이라 주장한다. 이러한 가설을 검증하기 위해 2010년부터 2012년까지 코스닥 시장에 상장된 약 770여개의 정부지원 수혜 및 비수혜기업을 대상으로 PSM DID 모형을 적용하여 분석을 시행하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과, 정부의 연구개발 지원을 받은 수혜기업은 그렇지 않은 기업에 비해 외국인 지분율이 더욱 크게 증가하는 것을 발견하였다. 또한 기업의 규모가 작고, 수출 비중이 낮을수록 정부 지원의 긍정적 신호효과가 더욱 강하게 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 기업 내외부 간 정보의 비대칭성이 클수록 정부의 연구개발 지원이 수혜기업의 능력과 해당 프로젝트의 가치 등에 대한 긍정적 신호를 제공하여 시장의 불완전성을 완화시킨다는 것을 의미한다. 한편 가족기업 여부는 정부 지원 수혜에 따른 외국인 지분율 변화에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 그 한계점에 대하여 논의하였다. Signaling theory is basically concerned with reducing information asymmetry among multiple parties. Upon making investment decisions, foreign investors face higher information asymmetry than their domestic counterparts do. This will be particularly true for foreign investors who are about to invest in small local companies, because small companies usually are less visible and have less publicly available information than large companies. Therefore, domestic investors probably will have superior information about the small companies’ growth prospects than foreigners. We argue that small firms with government R&D subsidies can send a positive signal to outside investors, particularly foreign investors, thereby reducing the information asymmetry and ultimately attracting more investments from the foreigners. Following market signaling theory, this paper examines the signaling effects of government R&D subsidies on foreign investors using a sample of approximately 770 Korean companies listed on the KOSDAQ market between 2010 and 2012. To this end, we adopt the propensity score matching method and difference-in-difference approach to control the endogeneity problem. We find convincing evidence that foreign ownership increases significantly more if firms receive subsidies, and that the positive impacts of the certification is stronger for smaller firms and firms with lower export ratio. Based on the results, theoretical contributions and practical implications of the study are discussed.

폴리비닐알코올(PVA) 필름은 매우 높은 투명도와 광택성을 보이며, 높은 기체차단 특성으로 인해 차세대 디스플레이용 소재로 각광받고 있다. 차세대 디스플레이 시장에 적용 가능한 고투광도, 박막화된 편광필름에 대한 시장의 요구에 대응하기 위해서는 광학용 PVA 필름의 제조가 필수적이며, 기계적 물성 향상 및 박막화를 위해 PVA 매트릭스와 나노 섬유 보강재의 복합화 및 고분산성에 대한 연구가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 PVA 수용액에 셀룰로오스 나노 섬유(CNF)를 다양한 함량으로 첨가시켜 CNF의 종류에 따른 광학 및 기계적 특성을 비교분석 하였다. SEM과 TEM으로 CNF의 사이즈와 PVA/CNF필름의 분산상태를 확인하였고, FTIR과 XRD를 이용하여 PVA와 CNF간의 수소결합의 존재와 우수한 상용성을 확인할 수 있었다. 기계적 강도는 CNF의 함량이 증가할수록 향상되다가 특정 함량이상에서는 분산의 문제로 인해 다시 감소하는 경향을 확인하였다. 광투과도는 CNF의 직경이 작을수록 우수했으며, 최종적으로 광투과율이 85%이상, 인장강도가 65MPa이상의 PVA/CNF 필름을 제조할 수 있었다.
