        MC3T3-E1 골아세포에서 발효 다시마 추출물에 의한 조골세포 분화의 촉진

        The Laminaria japonica Aresch (Sea tangle) belongs to the brown algae and has a long history as a food material in Asia, including Korea. Recent studies have found that the fermented Sea tangle extract (FST) inhibited the differentiation of osteoclasts and protected osteoblasts from oxidative damage. This study aims to explore the possibility that FST can induce the differentiation of osteoblasts and identify the responsible mechanism. According to our results, FST induced differentiation into osteogenic cells in the presence of osteoblastic MC3T3-E1 cells under non-toxic conditions.. This finding was confirmed by phalloidin staining, increased alkaline phosphatase activity, and calcium deposition. Additionally, it was found that this process was achieved by increasing the expression of key factors involved in osteoblast differentiation, such as runt-related transcription factor-2, osterix, β-catenin, and bone morphogenetic protein-2. Moreover, FST increased autophagy, which may contribute to the maintenance of the bone formation homeostasis, and is associated with the activation of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt and mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways. Although further research about the bioactive substances contained in FST and the tests of their efficacy are required, the results of this study indicate that FST has incredible applicability as a functional material for maintaining the bone homeostasis.

        <복식문화연구>의 지적구조와 연구동향- 계량정보학적 양적 접근과 의미연결망의 질적 접근 -

        The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between citations and the research trends of The Research Journal of the Costume Culture (RJCC) using bibliometric and network analyses. The results are as follows. First, the RJCC has been cited by a greater number of journals and high-reputation journals today. The RJCC has been mentioned in global academic journals in various fields, and it has been noted the most in environmental science. Second, because of examining the articles published in the RJCC over the past three years (2019–2021), it was found that the number of topics was evenly distributed in various subfields of the clothing and textiles sector. The RJCC principally deals with traditional clothing, ethics and sustainability, and technology, which means that the RJCC reflects the past, present, and future. As a result of conducting a cluster analysis using the Wakita-Tsurumi algorithm, the subjects of ethical fashion and sustainability were derived from the subdivisions of the RJCC. This suggests that the RJCC is a journal specialized in ethical fashion and sustainability sectors such as environmental, animal, and labor ethics. This study outlined the current status and future direction of academic journals in the field of clothing through an analysis of the RJCC’s influence change and the relationship between citations. In addition, it is academically significant because it identifies research trends and knowledge-structure changes in the apparel science field by identifying changes in research keywords and significant research topics by sector.

        신령버섯 추출물에 의한 A549 인체 폐암세포의 Apoptosis 유발

        Agaricus blazei Murill is a traditional herb medicine which has been used for patient suffering from cancer in Oriental medicine. It used to be a source of antitumor and immunoactive compounds in Oriental medicine, and considered a health food in many countries. In the present study, it was examined the biochemical mechanisms of apoptosis by water extract of Agaricus blazei Murill (WEAB) in human lung carcinoma cell line A549. It was found that WEAB could inhibit the cell growth of U937 cells in a dose-dependent manner, which was associated with apoptotic cell death such as formation of apoptotic bodies and DNA fragmentation. Flow cytometry analysis confirmed that WEAB treatment increased populations of apoptotic-sub G1 phase. Apoptosis of A549 cells by WEAB was associated with a down-regulation of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 expression and an up-regulation of pro-apoptotic Bax expression. WEAB treatment induced the proteolitic activation of caspase-3 and caspase-9, and a concomitant degradation of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) and β-catenin protein. Taken together, these results indicated that the anti-proliferative effects of WEAB were associated with the induction of apoptotic cell death through regulation of several major growth regulatory gene products such as Bcl-2 family expression and caspase protease ativity, and WEAB may have therapeutic potential in human lung cancer treatment.         Fashion informatics of the Big 4 Fashion Weeks using topic modeling and sentiment analysis

        This study used several informatics techniques to analyze consumer-driven social media data from four cities (Paris, Milan, New York, and London) during the 2019 Fall/ Winter (F/W) Fashion Week. Analyzing keywords using a semantic network analysis method revealed the main characteristics of the collections, celebrities, infuencers, fashion items, fashion brands, and designers connected with the four fashion weeks. Using topic modeling and a sentiment analysis, this study confrmed that brands that embodied similar themes in terms of topics and had positive sentimental reactions were also most frequently mentioned by the consumers. A semantic network analysis of the tweets showed that social media, infuencers, fashion brands, designers, and words related to sustainability and ethics were mentioned in all four cities. In our topic modeling, the classifcation of the keywords into three topics based on the brand col‑ lection’s themes provided the most accurate model. To identify the sentimental evalua‑ tion of brands participating in the 2019 F/W Fashion Week, we analyzed the consumers’ sentiments through positive, neutral, and negative reactions. This quantitative analysis of consumer-generated social media data through this study provides insight into use‑ ful information enabling fashion brands to improve their marketing strategies.

        서비스디자인 방법론을 활용한 통합브랜드 전략개발 사례연구 : 국립아시아문화전당 통합브랜드전략개발을 중심으로

        최근 학술자료와 연구보고서 및 고객중심의 서비스를 제공하고 있는 산업분야에서 혁신적인 서비스모델 결과물로 서비스디자인 방법론을 많이 활용하고 있음을 확인 할 수 있다. 서비스디자인 방법론의 관심은 다양한 분야에서 일어나고 있다. 이는 서비스디자인 방법론을 활용한 결과물들이 혁신적인 성과를 만들어 내고 있어서 이다. 서비스디자인 방법론에 관심을 가지는 이유를 살펴보면 고객 중심의 맥락적 상황을 세밀히 관찰하고 디자이너의 세밀한 관찰력과 통찰력을 통해 디자인적 사고로 혁신적인 서비스를 만들어내고 그 성과도 괄목할 만한 사례가 쏟아지고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서도 국립아시아문화전당의 통합브랜드 전략개발을 위해서 서비스디자인 방법론을 활용하여 고객관점의 잠재니즈 도출을 하였으며, 도출된 고객 잠재니즈는 통합브랜드 전략개발 시 고객가치에 기반 한 전략 수립에 활용했다. 본 연구는 공공서비스 분야의 통합브랜드 전략개발에 있어서 첫 시도이자 새로운 접근이라는 점에서 의의와 가치를 지닌다고 할 수 있다. The service design methodology has frequently been used as a product of the innovative service model in the industrial fields that have recently provided academic materials, research reports, and customer-centered services. Interest in the service design methodology is occurring in various fields, for products using the methodology have been achieving innovative outcomes. The reason for the interest consists in the fact that customer-centered context is examined in detail, and that an innovative service is created with design-oriented thinking through a designer's elaborate observation and insight, which have produced a number of notable results. The present study is of significance as a new attempt and approach that has used the service design methodology to develop a strategy for an integrated brand of the Asian Culture Complex.

        허베이 스피리트호 유류 유출사고에 대한 Trauma Signature (TSIG) 분석

        목적: 이 연구는 2007년 충남 태안군에서 발생한 허베이 스피리트호의 유류 유출사고에 대한 신체적, 심리적, 정신 건강영향에 대한 trauma signature (TSIG) 분석을 시도한 사례 연구이다. 대상 및 방법: TSIG 분석은 유류유출 사고와 관련된 위해 노출의 신체적, 심리적 결과를 검정하는 방법론으로 태안지역 인구에 대하여 노출된 위해 프로필(hazard profile), 노출 스트레스 마트릭스(matrix of exposure stressors), "trauma signature" 요약 등을 분석한 것으로 위해요인, 손실, 변화 요인 등에 대하여 인위적 재난에 대한 분석을 저자들이 구조화된 틀을 활용하여 분석을 시도한 사례이다. 결과: 허베이 스프리트호 유류 유출사고의 특징(signature)은 다원, 다면적이고 한국에서 역사적으로 가장 큰 해양오염 사고로 태안 지역사회 및 인접한 지역에 영향을 준 것으로 요약된다. TSIG 분석결과는 주요한 근거에 따른 신체적, 심리적, 정신적 요인에 대한 영향을 나타내었는데 이는 노출의 정도(exposure severity)에 따른 위해도, 손실, 변화의 범주에 따른 결과였다. 노출의 정도는 낮음(low)에서부터 극심(extreme)까지 그 범위가 다양하였으나 위험요인의 순위는 대부분 낮음에서 중등도(moderate)의 중증도를 보였다. 결론: 허베이 스프리트호 유류 유출사고에 대한 TSIG 분석 사례연구는 재난 상황 등에서의 TSIG 분석방법론의 적용가능성을 경험하였다. This TSIG analysis regarding national actions for marine oil spills could be indicated and suggested improvements in the response system could be made based on the present study.

      • Drosophila melanogaster에 있어서 N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine과 Ethidium Bromide의 독성 및 돌연변이원성

        D. melanogaster에 의한 MNNG와 EtBr의 독성정도를 유충발생기와 성체에 대한 비교 및 생식세포형성 단계상 반성치사 유발의 정도를 attached-X법에 의하여 비교분석하였다. 유충발생기에서 나타난 생존율 저하나 발육속도 지연에 미친 MNNG의 영향은 EtBr에 비하여 현저하게 높게 나타났으나, 성체에서의 독성 정도는 EtBr이 MNNG보다 완천치사 효과까지 2배이상 빨라 유충기와는 상반된 결과를 보여주었다. 정자형성 단계상에 미친 영향은 EtBr에 비하여 MNNG가 전체적으로 높은 빈도의 반성치사 돌연변이를 유발하였는데, MNNG는 정자와 정세포상에 EtBr은 정세포와 정모세포에 비교적 더 큰 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(MNNG) and Ethidium Bromide(EtBr) were fed to Drosophila melanogaster in order to investigate their toxic capability at developmental and adult stages, and potency for the induction of X-linked lethal mutation during the spermatogenesis. Both MNNG and EtBr were highly toxic at developmental and adult stages resulting in prolongation of the developmental period and lowering of the viability, and high mortality of adults as the dose increased. The toxic capacity of MNNG was slightly higher than EtBr in the developmental stage, however, a reverse process was observed in the adult stage. In the induction of X-linked lethal mutation during the spermatogenesis, MNNG had more pronounced effect in the sperm and spermatid stages, as EtBr had in the spermatid and spermatocyte stages, respectively.

      • New Zealand White rabbit의 감수분열 단계별 염색체들의 특징에 관한 연구

        Meiotic chromosomal characteristics of domestic rabbit (New Zealand White rabbit) were investigated. For these purposes, the meiotic chromosomal preparations were with the modified air-drying method of Imai et al(1981). Chromomeres, sex vesicles and centromeres could be classified in the zygotene and the pachytene of the first division. The hair-like processes projection laterally from the axes of bivalent chromosomes at the mid-to-late pachytene were observed and made the appearance of the lampbrush chromosome structure. Chromosomes could be classified on the basis of the numbers and the locations of chiasma in the diakinesis. Twenty-one autosomal bivalents and a single unequal terminally associated X-Y bivalent types observed in the New Zealand White rabbit spermatocytes were 1CH, and 2TAI, and 2TA bivalents. The mean chiasma frequency (CF) of the male New Zealand White rabbit was 30.2, and it was found that the CF value tended to decrease through the diakinesis and the metaphase I.
