사육일령이 육계의 가슴 및 다리살의 아미노산·지방산 변화에 미치는 영향

This study was to investigate the amino acid, free amino acid and fatty acid composition of chicken breast muscle and legs muscle by different raising periods (30, 36 and 42 days). In amino acid composition, the glutamic acids were 3.63% at 30 days, 3.63% at 36 days and 3.54% at 42 days in the breast muscle. The glutamic acid contents in the breast and leg muscle were decreasing tendency as raising periods increased. The total free amino acids were 370.6 mg at 30 days, 235.9 mg at 36 days and 246.3 mg at 42 days in the breast muscle, and those were 470.16 at 30 days, 326.4 mg at 36 days and 321.9 mg at 42 days in the leg muscle. Total contents of free amino acids were higher in chicken legs muscle than in chicken breast muscle. The linoleic acids, the most essential fatty acid, were contained 17.84% at 30 days, 17.84% at 36 days and 20.33% at 42 days in chicken breast muscle. These results indicated that the fatty acid composition increased as raising periods increased. There were 0.69% DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) in chicken breast muscle at 30 days, 0.96% at 36 days and 1.29% at 42 days. From these results, the DHA contents in chickens were also increased as raising periods increased.

고온기 육계의 수송 스트레스에 대한 버퍼제 급여에 따른 닭고기 품질 및 PSE 발생에 미치는 영향

고온기 때 육계 수송 스트레스를 줄이기 위한 대비책으로 농가에서 출하 2일전에 버퍼제(sodium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate)를 급여함으로 육계의 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 수행하였다. 닭고기의 품질 1? 등급 평가에서 버퍼제를 급여하지 않는 대조구에서 4%를 차지하였으나 sodium phosphate 급여구가 8%, sodium bicarbonate 급여구 14%, magnesium sulfate 급여구가 28%로 대조구에 비하여 버퍼제를 급여한 처리구에서 1?등급 출현율이 증가하였다. PSE 발생율은 대조구에서 경증 및 중증 모두 합하여 92%를 차지하였으나, sodium phosphate 급여구가 88%, sodium bicarbonate 급여구 28%, magnesium sulfate 급여구가 56%로 대조구에 비하여 버퍼제를 급여한 처리구에서 PSE 발생율이 현저히 저하되었다. 닭고기외관의 멍은 대조구에서는 1~6 ㎝의 멍이 32%를 차지하였으나, sodium phosphate 급여구는 22%, sodium bicarbonate 급여구 24%, magnesium sulfate 급여구가 44%로 magnesium sulfate 급여구를 제외하고는 대조구에 비해 멍 발생율의 8~10% 정도 저하하였다. 닭고기의 명도(L<SUP>*</SUP>) 값의 변화는 가슴근육 부위에서 대조구가 67.88을 나타내었고, sodium phosphate 급여구가 67.05, sodium bicarbonate 급여구 66.27, magnesium sulfate 급여구가 65.89로 magnesium sulfate 급여구에 명도가 가장 낮은 경향을 나타내었고, 전체적으로 대조구에 비해 버퍼제를 급여한 구에서 명도 값이 저하되었다. 상기와 같이 고온기 때 육계 수송 스트레스를 줄이기 위하여 버퍼제(sodium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate)를 급여함으로 사계 및 닭고기의 이상 도체를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The present study has been performed to suggest a method to decrease the adverse effects of transportation on chicken meat quality. The groups were prepared as follows; Control group and three groups of treatments (sodium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate and magnesium sulfate). The chicken fed magnesium sulfate showed higher chicken meat quality compared to control and other treatment groups. Also, minor and severe PSE incidence of chicken breast was found at 88% in sodium phosphate group, 24% in sodium bicarbonate group and 56% in magnesium sulfate group. Control group showed 92% higher minor and severe PSE incidence of chicken breast compared to other groups. In control group, the external bruise of chicken showed 32% but 22, 24 and 44% in other treatment groups, respectively. Lightness (L*) of chicken containing sodium phosphate treatment, sodium bicarbonate treatment and magnesium sulfate were 67.05, 66.27 and 65.89, while Lightness (L*) of chicken containing control group was decreased of 67.88. In conclusion, dietary buffer material (sodium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate) under heat stress decreased adverse effects including death, wound or abnormality of chickens.

Background/Aims: Although polypoid leiomyomas in the colon and rectum are rare, they are increasingly detected during colonoscopy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and clinical outcomes of endoscopic removal for colorectal polypoid leiomyoma. Methods: Data were retrospectively collected from 22 patients with polypoid leiomyoma arising from the muscularis mucosae in the colon and rectum who underwent endoscopic removal at single referral gastrointestinal endoscopy unit. Colonoscopic findings, endoscopic removal, success rates, complication rates (bleeding or perforation), pathologic characteristics, and re-currence rates were investigated. Results: Most polypoid leiomyomas were small asymptomatic lesions less than 1 cm. The tumors were located predominantly in the left colon. Ten leiomyomas were removed using cold biopsy forceps, and 12 were resected by conventional polypectomy or endoscopic mucosal resection. All tumors arose from or involved the muscularis mucosa. There were no complications, such as bleeding or perforation. No local remnant lesions were found in 19 patients who underwent at least one follow-up colonoscopy. Conclusions: This case series represent cases of small colorectal polypoid leiomyoma that were safely removed endoscopically. An awareness of their endoscopic and clinic-pathological characteristics may provide safe treatment strategy for colonic leiomyomatous tumors of similar size in capable hands. This study investigated the effects of dietary supplementation of fermented apple pomace (FAP), fermented pear pomace (FPP), fermented orange pomace (FOP), and fermented Angelica keiskei Koidz pomace (FAKP) on performance, shelf life, fatty acid composition and cholesterol in broiler chickens. A total of 600, 1-day-old male broiler chicks (Cobb strain) were randomly divided into six groups with four replicates of 30 birds each. There were five treatment groups: control (C), FAP (1.0%, T1), FPP (1.0%, T2), FOP (1.0%, T3), and FAKP (1.0%, T4). The body weight of the broiler chickens fed FAP diet was higher (1,758 g) than the other treatments. There was no difference in the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) in chicken meat between all groups at days 1, 3, and 5 of storage, while the FAP-supplemented group displayed lower TBARS values at day 7. There was no significant difference in fatty acid composition between the groups but the cholesterol content of chicken meat was lower than the control groups. These results suggest the possibility that FAP could be used as a functional feed to improvement the quality performance of broiler chickens.
Helicobacter pylori 감염 위점막에서 Peroxisome Proliferator-activated Receptor (PPAR)γ의 발현

목적: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ (PPAR γ)는 핵 전사인자로 염증과 악성종양에 관련된 여러 유전자의 발현을 조절한다. PPAR γ는 대장암뿐만 아니라 위암에서도 발현되며, PPAR γ 배위자는 암세포의 분화와 세포자멸사를 유도한다. H. pylori의 지속적인 감염은 만성위염과 소화성 궤양을 일으키고, 세포 전환율을 변화시킨다. 또한 H. pylori는 위암의 주요한 원인 인자이다. 이에 저자들은 H. pylori 감염이 위점막에서 PPAR γ 발현에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 상부위장관내시경검사를 시행한 39명에서 위점막 검체를 얻었다. H. pylori 감염 여부 확인을 위한 신속요소분해효소검사와 조직 검사를 시행하여 H. pylori 감염 정도와 염증세포들의 침윤 정도를 확인하였다. 면역조직화학염색을 시행하여 위점막 검체에서 PPAR γ 단백의 발현 위치, 발현 정도와 강도를 확인하였다. 또한 PPAR γ의 특이 primer를 이용하여 real time PCR을 시행하여 mRNA의 발현 정도를 확인하였다. 결과: PPAR γ 단백은 선와상피세포의 핵에서 발현되었고, 장상피화생 조직과 위암 조직에서도 발현되었다. PPAR γ 단백 발현은 H. pylori 감염 군에서 3.8±0.4, 비감염군에서 2.6±1.0으로 의미있는 차이를 보였다(p=0.012). PPAR γ mRNA 발현은 대장암군에서 H. pylori 감염군과 비감염군에 비하여 유의하게 증가하였으나(p<0.05), H. pylori 감염군과 비감염군에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 결론: H. pylori 감염이 위점막에서 PPAR γ 단백 발현을 증가시킴을 확인하였고, PPAR γ가 H. pylori에 의해 유발되는 일련의 염증반응에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 생각한다. 추후 이에 대한 더 많은 연구가 필요하다. Background/Aims: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ), a nuclear transcription factor, plays a critical role in the regulation of gene expression associated with inflammation and cancer. PPAR γ is expressed in human gastric cancer as well as in colon cancer. Activation of PPAR γ by ligand produces pro-apoptotic effect and ameliorate growing of cancer cells. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a main etiologic agent for gastric inflammation, and raises cell turnover in gastric epithelium. Longstanding infection with this organism is related with the development of non-cardiac gastric cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of H. pylori on the expression of PPARγ protein and mRNA in chronic gastritis. Methods: Gastric biopsy samples were taken from H. pylori infected (n=18) and non-infected (n=21) patients during endoscopic examination. PPAR γ expressions were assessed by real time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry. Results: PPAR γ was localized to the nuclei of the foveolar epithelial cells in both infected and non-infected mucosa. PPAR γ protein expression was higher in H. pylori infected patients than in non-infected patients (3.8±0.4 vs. 2.6±1.0, H. pylori infected and non-infected, respectively; p<0.05). However, PPAR γ mRNA levels were not significantly different between the two groups (24±18 vs. 29±25, H. pylori infected and noninfected, respectively). Conclusions: PPAR γ expression is increased in the gastric mucosa of H. pylori infected chronic gastritis, which suggests a certain role of PPARγ in the mucosal inflammatory reaction to H. pylori infection. 본 논문에서는 설치가 용이하고, 이동이 자유로우며 능동적으로 연결을 맺을 수 있는 무선 LAN환경 특성에 대해 알아보고, 무선LAN에서의 TCP 버전별 특성을 분석해 보았다. 또한 지연과 오류 확률이 높은 무선 LAN 환경에서 여러 가지 버전의 TCP가 동시에 사용되는 경우에 각 TCP 버전의 트래픽 특성을 모의 실험하였다. 이 실험을 위해 가장 많이 사용되어지고 있는 네트워크 시뮬레이터2(NS2)를 이용하였다.
