This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of hypoglycemic yogurt as a clinical test with person both who have diabetes and who don't have diabetes. Diabetes is a disease caused by unused and accumulated glucoses produced via the foods digestion due to the lack of insulin or lower tissue reaction to insulin. Patients with diabetes or complications of diabetes are on the rise annually. For the therapy and prevention of diabetes, a yogurt made from functional materials such as insulin-resistant FK-23 lactic acid bacteria, Pinitol, edible fiber which delays glucose-absorption, extract powder of glucose-absorption-inhibitory white bean and low-caloric Erythritol and banaba extract is effective for reduce or restrain the blood glucose levels. The blood glucose levels after a meal of non-diabetic persons were lower after drinking a hypoglycemic yogurt than they after drinking general yogurt. The blood glucose levels after a meal of 10 diabetic patients were checked after drinking the yoghurt. As a result, 19 mg/dL, 30 mg/dL, 31 mg/dL of blood glucose levels decreased in 30 min, 60 min and 120 min respectively after drinking the yogurt. Blood glucose inhibition rates of 80 % of the tested patients also decreased. The blood glucose level of the diabetic patients having drunk the yogurt for 30 days consistently decreased into 59 mg/dL in 120 min after a meal. 혈당 강하 요구르트의 개발을 위해 Streptococcus salivarius subsp. thermophilus와 Lactobacillus acidophilus145, bifidobacterium infantis 혼합균주에 사균인 FK-23 유산구균, 피니톨, 식이섬유, 백강낭콩 추출 분말, 에리스리톨, 바나바 추출물 등의 기능성 성분을 포함한 요구르트를 제조하여 정상인과 혈당치가 높은 당뇨환자를 대상으로 간이 임상시험을 실시하였다.1. 정상인의 식후 혈당치는 일반 요구르트를 섭취했을 때보다 혈당 강하 요구르트 음용 시 더 낮게 측정되었으며 임상대상자 대부분에서 동일한 현상이 나타났다.2. 혈당치가 높은 당뇨환자 10명을 대상으로 식후 혈당치 변화 및 음용기간 중 혈당치 변화를 확인한 결과 혈당 강하 요구르트를 음용하기 전보다 음용 후 혈당치가 식후 30분, 식후 60분, 식후 120분 각각 19 mg/dL, 30 mg/dL, 31 mg/dL 감소하였다. 또한, 혈당 증가 억제율도 임상대상자의 80%가 감소하는 효과를 나타냈다.3. 30일간 혈당 강하 요구르트를 음용한 후 식후 혈당치의 변화를 확인한 결과 음용전보다 음용 후 120분 경과 때, 혈당치가 59 mg/dL 감소하였으며 음용기간이 증가할수록 지속적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.

H.264/SVC 인트라 모드와 M-JPEG2000의 공간 스케일러빌리티 성능 비교

다양한 미디어 장치의 출현과 함께 하나의 동영상을 각 네트워크 대역폭과 디스플레이 장치에 맞게 다양한 비트스트림들을 생성하고 저장하는 문제가 발생하였다. 따라서 하나의 비트 스트림으로부터 다양한 공간 해상도, 프레임율, 그리고 화질 등에 적합한 동영상을 추출하여 복호할 수 있는 스케일러빌리티 기술이 필요하게 되었다. 스케일러빌리티를 지원하는 동영상 압축 표준으로는 표준화가 진행중인 H.264/SVC와 JPEG의 Motion JPEG2000이 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 동영상 압축 표준에 대한 공간 스케일러빌리티의 성능을 비교하였다. 성능을 비교하기 위하여, 2K의 영상을 이용하여 4개의 서브 레이어를 포함하는 비트스트림을 생성한 후, 생성한 비트율 내에서 각 레이어가 차지하는 비율을 조사하였고, 객관적 / 주관적 화질 평가를 측정하여 성능을 비교하였다.

Comparison of Small Dose Bupivacaine-Fentanyl with Conventional Dose Bupivacaine during Spinal Anesthesia Young-Hoon Cho, M.D., Ji-Hyang Lee, M.D., Sang-Gon Lee, M.D. Jong-Suk Ban, M.D., and Byung-Woo Min, M.D. Department of Anesthesiology, Daegu Fatima Hospital, Daegu, Korea Background: Although spinal anesthesia has a lot of advantages, it has some disadvantages or undesirable effects. Hypotension and unnecessarily long neural blockade are included among them. Although using small dose local anesthetics fairly solves these problems, it is insufficient to provide reliable surgical anesthesia by itself. Therefore the authors investigated whether such an opioid as fentanyl and small dose local anesthetic used together during spinal anesthesia can prevent hypotension and unnecessarily long neural blockade and provide reliable surgical anesthesia simultaneously. Methods: Thirty patients undergoing knee or below knee surgery were randomized into two groups. Group 1 received bupivacaine 5 mg combined with fentanyl 20 ㎍, and group 2 receive 10 mg bupivacaine. Hypotension was recorded and was treated with intravenous ephedrine. Sensory blockade, intraoperative analgesia, motor blockade and side effects were assessed. Results: NO significant differences were observed in values for assessing hypotension, sensory block-ade or intraoperative analgesia between the two groups. Also no significant differences were observed in intensity of the motor blockade and side effects between the two groups. However the duration of the motor blockade of group 1 was longer significantly than that of group 2. Conclusions: Small dose bupivacaine and fentanyl administered together intrathecally reduced duration of motor blockade and didn't augment of side effects and provided reliable anesthesia for surgery of knee or below knee simultaneously. 본 논문의 목적은 로맹 가리의 유럽의 교육에 나타난 전쟁 소설 서사 구조와 성장 소설 서사 구조 그리고 액자 소설 구조를 분석하고, 그 세 서사 구조 간의 상호 관계를 연구하는 데 있다. 제2차 세계대전 당시 폴란드 빨치산 전투의 서사는 초점화자 야네크의 모험, 주막 주인 요제프의 비극, 크릴렌코 부자의 불화의 전말 등을 보여준다. 성숙한 전사로 성장하는 야네크의 성장 소설의 이야기는 자연의 교육, 감정 교육, 음악과 예술을 향한 열정, 성숙한 투사로서의 결행 등을 보인다. 액자 소설 구조를 이루는 여섯 편의 <이야기 속의 이야기>들은 빨치산 분대장 도브란스키에 의해 낭독되어지는데, 바탕 이야기와의 맥락에서 보충, 대조, 반성, 예고, 복선, 의식 등의 기능을 담당하고 있다. 본 논문은 또한 사건들과 대화들을 설명하지 않고, 연극의 무대에서처럼 세부적인 이미지와 행동과 사건을 직접적으로 재현하며 작중 인물들의 직접적인 대화의 연쇄에 의해 진행하는 로맹 가리 특유의 장면 환기적 방식 또는 연극적 방식 그리고 무매개 대화에 주목하였다.

A Series Arc Fault Detection Strategy for Single-Phase Boost PFC Rectifiers

This paper proposes a series arc fault detection algorithm which incorporates peak voltage and harmonic current detectors for single-phase boost power factor correction (PFC) rectifiers. The series arc fault model is also proposed to analyze the phenomenon of the arc fault and detection algorithm. For arc detection, the virtual dq transformation is utilized to detect the peak input voltage. In addition, multiple combinations of low- and high-pass filters are applied to extract the specific harmonic components which show the characteristics of the series arc fault conditions. The proposed model and the arc detection method are experimentally verified through a boost PFC rectifier prototype operating under the grid-tied condition with an artificial arc generator manufactured under the guidelines for the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 1699 standard.
