AlN films with c-axis orientation and thermal conductivity characteristics were deposited by using Pulsed Laser Deposition and the films were characterized by changing the deposition conditions. In particular, we investigated the optimal conditions for the application of a heat sinking plane AlN thin film. Epitaxial AlN films were deposited on sapphire ($c-Al_2O_3$) single crystals by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) with an AlN target. AlN films were deposited at a fixed pressure of $2{\times}10^{-5}$ Torr, while the substrate temperature was varied from 500 to $700^{\circ}C$. According to the experimental results of the growth temperature of the thin film, AlN thin films were confirmed with a highly c-axis orientation, maximum grain size, and high thermal conductivity at $650^{\circ}C$. The thermal conductivity of the AlN thin film was found to increase compared to bulk AlN near the band gap value of 6.2 eV.

양식 해산어의 효율적인 수급과 소비 방법을 다양화하기 위하여 광어를 이용한 고음 추출물을 제조하여 이의 치료식으로서의 이용가능성을 타진한 결과는 다음과 같다. 광어 고음 추출물들은 rat의 십이지장에 대해 수축활성을 나타냈고, in vivo상태에서 혈압강하작용이 있었다. 또한 이들 추출물들은 rat의 대동맥에 대해 농도 의존적으로 이완활성을 보였다. RM 60 추출물은 MCF7 세포에 대해 항암효과를 나타냈지 만 다른 추출물들은 항암효과와 항균활성을 지니지 않았다. 광어 고음추출물들을 사료로 하여 rat의 혈액성상효과를 측정한 결과 대조군에 비해 HDL-콜레스테롤의 증가 이외에는 현저한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 이러한 결과들은 광어 고음 추출물에 다양한 생리활성물질들이 포함되어 있다는 것을 제시한다. The pharmacological effects of hydrocooked(110℃, 5 hours) extracts of Bastard halibut have been investigated. All of the hydrocooked extracts showed the measurable contractile effect on the isolated rat duodenum and decreased the normal blood pressure in anesthetized rat. The hydrocooked extracts also exhibited a dose-dependent relaxation on the isolated rat aorta precontracted with phenylephrine. Only RM 60 fraction of these extracts had the cytotoxic effect against MCF7 cell(human breast adenocarcinoma cell line), but the other fractions showed neither antibacterial activity nor antitumor activity. Although fish extracts fed group of rat maintained their original body weight, there were no notable changes in the hematological parameters, except that the levels of high-density lipoprotein was significantly increased. These results suggest that the hydrocooked extracts of bastard halibut may contain a variety of bioactive materials.

The pharmacological effects of hydrocooked extracts of crucian carp have been investigated. All of the hydrocooked extracts showed the contractile effect on the isolated rat duodenum and decreased to a certain extent the normal blood pressure in anesthetized rat. The hydrocooked extracts also exhibited a dose-dependent relaxation on the isolated rat aorta precontracted with 50 mM KCl. All of these except for RM 60 fraction haying cytotoxic effect against MCF-7 human breast cancer cell showed neither antibacterial activity nor antitumor activity. In addition, we found that although body weight gain in the hydrocooked extracts treated group were all reduced significantly compared to control group, there were no significant changes in the hematological parameters, except that the levels of high-density lipoprotein was significantly increased. These results suggest that the hydrocooked extracts of crucian carp may contain a variety of bioactive materials.

N/A To assess contribution of T1-201 rest-24 hour delay redistribution in detection of viable myocardium, we studied the predictive value of this redistribution in 17 patients who performed rest-24 hour delay perfusion SPECT before bypass surgery. Regional wall motion was compared with gated SPECT in 10 patients and echocardiography in 7 patients before and after bypass surgery. Rest and 24 hour delayed uptakes were scored from 0 (normal perfusion) to 3 (defect). In rest SPECT, 56 segments showed perfusion decrease. Thirty four segments(61%) improved after surgery and were defined as viable. Nineteen(34%) segments had more uptake of T1-201 at 24 hour delay, and the other 37 segments did not. In 81%(25/31) of segments with mildly decreased perfusion, wall motion after bypass surgery improved, 57% (8/14) of segments with severely decreased perfusion improved, and 9%(1/11) of segments with defects improved. In 14 among 19 segments which had more T1-201 uptakes at 24 hour delay, wall motion was improved (positive predictive value of redistribution: 74%). 20 among 37 segments which had persistent decreases in rest-24 hour redistribution improved and 17 did not(negative predictive value: 46%). Segments having severe perfusion decrease or defects showed improved wall motion after surgery in 64%(7/11), if it had redistribution at delay. Segments with either mildly decreased uptake in resting or rest-delayed redistribution showed improved wall motion in 76%(32/42). Among the 14 segments which showed improvement in wall motion, 10 had partial reversibility in stress-rest images and the other 4 had persistent perfusion defects in stress-rest images. These 4 segments were found viable only with rest-24 hour delayed perfusion SPECT. We concluded that rest T1-201 uptake or redistribution at 24 hour delay should be referred as an evidence to warrant postoperative improvement of abnormal wall motion and we could predict mycardial viability with preoperative rest-24 hour delay perfusion SPECT in the segments with rest perfusion decreases

생리활성을 지닌 신경펩타이드의 구조와 활성간의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 고상법으로 합성한 세 종류의 neuropeptide $\gamma$(mammalian-, trout- 그리고 goldfish-neu-ropeptide $\gamma$)를 사용하여 연구하였다. Circular dichroism spectra에 의하면 mammalian-, trout-와 goldfish-neurope-ptide $\gamma$는 완충액 조건하에서 모두 random한 구조를 나타내었다. 중성 및 산성 지질 존재 하에서, mammalian과 trout-neuropeptide $\gamma$는 여전히 random한 구조를 취했다. 그러나, goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$는 중성 및 산성지질하에서 부분적으로 $\alpha-helix$ 구조를 나타내었다. 장관 수축활성 에 있어서는 carp 장관, guinea-pig 회장 그리고 rat 십이지장에 대하여 비교하였다. Carp에 대해서는 goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma\;\simeq$ trout-neuropeptide $\gamma\;>$ mammalian- neuropeptide $\gamma$ 순으로 활성이 나타났다. 그러나, guinea-pig 회장과 rat 십이지장에 대해서 mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$는 어류 유래성 neuropeptide g들 보다 높은 수축활성을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과들은 neuropeptide $\gamma$들이 종-특이적인 활성을 나타낸다는 것을 제시한다. The relationship between structure and biological activity was studied on the three neuropeptides (mammalian, trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$) that were syntheized by the solid-phase method. Circular dichroism spectra showed that mammalian, trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ adopted an unordered structure in buffer solution. In the-presence of neutral and acidic liposomes, mammalian and trout-neuropeptioe $\gamma$ also took a random structure. However, goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ took an $\alpha-helical$ structure in acidic liposomes. The intestinal motility response was investigated with carp intestines, guinea-pig ileums and rat duodenums. In case of carp intestine, contractile activity was as follows : goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma\simeq$ trout-neuropeptide $\gamma>$ mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$, On the other hand, the contractile activity of mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$ was more potent than trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ in the guinea-pig ileums and rat duodenums. These results suggest that neuropeptide $\gamma$ show the species-specific activity.

넙치 (Paralichthys olivaceus)로부터 elastase-like serine protease (PoElSp)를 암호화하는 cDNA를 클로닝하여 그 서열을 분석한 결과, PoElSp 유전자는 269 아미노산을 암호화하는 978염기쌍으로 구성되었다. PoElSp 유전자의 조직 특이적 발현 양상을 RT-PCR법으로 조사한 결과, 간, 비장 및 소장에서 그 발현이 크게 나타났다. lipopolysaccharide (LPS)로 인위적 세균감염을 유도한 후, 1시간째에 콩팥에서, 3시간째에는 근육에서, PoElSp 유전자의 발현이 크게 증가하였다. 또한, 이 유전자의 발현은 비장에서 LPS 주입 후 1-24시간동안 점차로 증가하였다. pro-mature PoElSp (proPoElSp)에 해당하는 cDNA를 pET32a 벡터 시스템을 이용하여 대장균에서 발현시켰다. 이 재조합 proPoElSp 단백질의 활성은 gelatin zymography 방법과 합성형광 Z-Phe-Arg-AMC의 분해법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 단백질 분해효소 활성을 위한 최적 pH는 7.5였다. 실험결과들을 종합하면, PoElSp 단백질은 면역 반응에서 중추적 역할을 하리라 판단된다.
나일틸라피아와 이스라엘잉어의 장관 평활근의 수축활성에 미치는 Tachykinin 류의 영향

The present study was undertaken to investigate and compare the effect and mode of action of tachykinins on isolated strip preparations of the intestinal smooth muscle from the nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus and the Israel carp, Cyprinus carpio. Both of neurokinin 1(NK-1) receptor agonist, substance P(SP) and neurokinin 2(NK-2) receptor agonist, neurokinin A(NKA) caused concentration-dependent contractions of intestinal smooth muscle in the nile tilapia and the israel carp. The efficiency and potency of these agonists varied between two fish species. In the nile tilapia intestine, the efficiency and potency of SP were greater than those of NKA. However, the efficiency and potency of SP were similar to those of NKA. In the nile tilapia intestine and the israel carp intestine, the contractile responses of SP and NKA were noncompetitively antagonized by NK-1 receptor antagonist, L-732, 138 but unaffected by NK-2 receptor antagonist, MDL 29913. In addition, SP-induced contractions in the both of preparation were significantly inhibited by muscarinic antagonist, atropine(5×10^(-7)M) and ganglionic inhibitor, tetrodotoxin(2×10^(-7)M) but NKA-induced contractions were unaffected by those. These results indicate that two tachykinin agonists, SP and NKA predominately modulate the mechanical activity of isolated preparation from the nile tilapia and the israle carp directly through the activation of NK-1 receptor on the intestinal smooth muscle cells ,but in the case of SP action, the indirect action through activation of cholinergic nerve terminals seems to be also implicated
