Previous studies have been interested in how to maximize both the efficiency and the effectiveness of organizational learning. On the flipside, some studies have investigated the critical barriers to learning. We suggest organizational hierarchy as another cause and theoretically explore how it can deter learning performance. Specifically, we argue that the configuration of structure determines a prevalent form of learning method in an organization to consequently affect its learning performance. Using simulation modeling, we show that non-hierarchical organizations may be a better learning environment than hierarchical organizations. We also show that the contextual factors, such as problem complexity and member regrouping, may affect the base-line result. This study subsequently calls for further attention be paid to the key issues concerning the hierarchy and organization learning performance.
낱별의 광전측광 관측을 위하여 두 가지 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였다. 하나는 자료수집 (data aquisition), 자료의 표시, 통계처리, 오차추정, 대기상태의 모니터링 등을 다루는 실시간(實時間, real time) 측광제어 프로그램이고, 다른 하나는 하룻밤 관측의 도중 또는 관측 종료 직후에 수집된 자료 전체를 입력 파일로 만들어 주면 대기소광계수 결정과 표준계 변환 및 오차 추정을 해 주는 자료분석(資料分析, data reduction) 프로그램이다. 두 프로그램은 모두 임의의 다색측광계(多色測光系)에 대해서 입력 과일에 필터의 갯수, 색지 수의 정의 등 필요한 자료만 써주면 수행 가능하도록 일반화되어 있다.
The awareness of the high-value industry for container terminal leads competitiveness of container terminals to keep high fiercely. In regards to competitive factors of container terminal, the most important point among several factors is seemed to be the speed of container loading and unloading on quayside. In container terminals in Korea, the productivity shows big difference even though its condition is similar to each terminal. The objective of this paper is to find the critical factors of container terminal productivity, which is dependant upon the capability, quantity of quay crane, transfer vehicle, and so on. For this purpose, we have researched related literatures, and collected data about container terminals in South Korea. Furthermore, we tested sensitive analysis to evaluate the extent of productivity by changing independent variable. And then we established the regression model to evaluate which factor has had the biggest impact on productivity. The results of this paper can give terminal operators guideline to improve productivity.
This paper is to suggest the preference list of cruise tourists at Pan Yellow Sea Port. This study conducted the survey of cruise tourists calling at Incheon port for the cruise tourists' needs and performed interviews of staff of cruise liners with their sales officers in Shanghai. The evaluation for the preference of the cruise tourists were conducted by modeling a formula in order to rank the preference. This paper assumes that the preference is mainly bounded on stay time, which can be classified into under 10 hours, under 10~24 hours, and over 24 hours. After validating the model accuracy, we can estimate tourists' preference in different conditions. Under 10 hours-stay at the port, the shopping site, food sites, sightseeing sites, and cultural tour sites are preferred. Second, between 10~24 hour stay, the rank is changed a little like as duty free shop, korean traditional food, department store, road shopping, road sight, drama film site, casino, historical remains, ancient place, traditional tower. Through the research, we find the tourists like to enjoy casino games through the night. Third, over one day of stay, tourist enjoy experience tours, like water parks, amusement parks and so on. This paper will contribute to design the product mix of tourists at calling port using preference evaluation model. According to tourist condition like stay time, gender, type of companion, age etc., preference evaluation model is able to be adjusted with the model.
