A study on the Optimal Combat Exchange Components Selection Method

The navy that operates a large size of weapon systems, relatively a small quantity of, in order to minimize the loss of war potential caused by the breakdown of weapon system during long-term naval area of operation assigns allowance parts such as Maintenance Float (M/F), Combat Exchange Components, Concurrent Spare Parts (CSP) and so on to each unit and makes them use the allowance parts. Among them, Combat Exchange Components is being calculated in accordance with heuristic method because there is no standardized method to calculate it differently from Maintenance Float and Concurrent Spare Parts. In this article, more systematic calculation optimization method of it is suggested by selecting the optimum Combat Exchange Components in accordance with integer programming and presenting it, comparing it with the list of Combat Exchange Components calculated by actual heuristic method.

Efforts on reliable design are required from the design stage for efficient operation, maintenance and management in terms of the entire life cycle of the weapon system. In this paper, the priorities for improvement were selected by adding the CEI index considering quantity and cost analysis to the general D-FMEA analysis method targeting the circuit card assembly mounted on the warship. In addition, the design improvement was performed using Sherlock, an RPA tool, and the methodology for cost reduction during the total life cycle of the weapon system was presented by comparing the improvement results.

Nobel series of 5-benzyloxymethyl-3-(thiophen-5-yl)-1,2-isoxazoline derivatives were designed and synthesized. The herbicidal activities of these compounds to main dominant weeds to these compounds were evaluated in pot tests that simulated rice paddy conditions. Most of the compounds showed high herbicidal activity to main dominant weeds occurring in rice field without the serious rice injury.
