본 논문에서는 출력 장치의 색역에 대하여 균일한 분포를 갖는 색표본(color sample) 생성 방법을 제안하고, 이를 이용한 색재현 방법을 소개한다. 즉 기존의 방법인 RGB(red, green, and blue) 혹은 CMY(cyan, magenta, yellow) 등 장치 의존형 색공간에서 균일한 색표본을 선택하는 것이 아니라 장치 독립형 균등 색공간인 CIELAB공간에서 균등 색표본을 선택하는 방법을 제안한다 또한 제안된 색표본의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 회귀 모델과 신경망을 이용한 색공간 변환을 수행하였다 동일한 크기의 색표본의 경우, 제안된 색표본을 이용한 색공간 변환 방법이 신경망, 회귀 모델 모두에서 색차를 줄일 수 있었다. This paper proposes a color sample selection method that produces a uniform distribution in the display gamut plus a color reproduction method for using a uniform color sample In contrast to the conventional method, the proposed uniform color samples are selected m CIELAB, a device-independent color space, instead of RGB (red, green, and yellow) or CMY (cyan, magenta, and yellow) space, device-dependent color spaces To evaluate the performance of the proposed color samples, they were applied to color space conversion using both a regression model and neural network As a result, in the case of a color sample of the same size, the color space conversion method using the proposed samples showed a lower color difference for color conversions using either neural or regression.
녹화 처리기간에 따른 황기, 석결명, 술패랭이꽃 및 질경이 새싹채소의 항산화 효과 변화

새로운 항산화 기능성 새싹채소를 개발하고, 항산화효과가 우수한 재배 조건을 구명하기 위하여 황기, 석결명, 술패랭이꽃, 질경이 새싹채소의 재배 중 녹화기간에 따른 항산화효과 변화를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 종에 따라 광합성이 항산화능에 미치는 영향이 각기 다르게 나타났다. 황기 새싹채소는 총 폴리페놀 함량은 녹화 0일, 총 플라보노이드 함량은 녹화 3일째에 가장 우수하였으며, DPPH radical 소거능은 녹화 0일, ABTS radical 소거능은 녹화 1일, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating효과는 녹화 0일, 지질과산화 억제활성은 녹화 3일째에 가장 우수하였다. 석결명 새싹채소는 2일 녹화했을 때 항산화물질 함량이 높고 radical 소거능이 우수하였으며, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating효과는 녹화 0일, 지질과산화 억제활성은 녹화 1일째에 가장 우수하였다. 술패랭이 새싹채소는 녹화 3일 째에 항산화물질 함량이 높고, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating 효과가 우수하였으며, radical 소거능과 지질과산화 억제 활성은 녹화시키지 않았을 때 가장 우수하였다. 질경이 새싹채소의 항산화물질 함량 및 radical 소거능은 녹화 2일째에 가장 우수하였으며, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating 효과는 녹화 0일, 지질과산화 억제활성은 녹화 3일째에 가장 우수하였다. 연구의 결과, 식물 종에 목표로 하는 항산화 효과에 따라 광합성이 미치는 영향이 다르므로, 식물 종과 원하는 항산화 효과에 따라 재배 방법을 달리해야 할 것으로 생각되었다. The potential use of 4 plant species, Astragalus membranaceus var. membranaceus, Senna occidentalis, Dianthus longicalyx and Plantago asiatica, as new sprout vegetables with high antioxidant function was examined in the present experiments. Seeds of above plants were allowed to germinate under light condition, and seedlings were maintained under dark condition for shoot growth in length for contain period of time. Then the seedlings were put under light for photosynthesis (greening treatment) for the period of 0${\sim}$3 days. Samples were collected to analyze the changes in antioxidant levels and activity, and it was observed that antioxidant substances were affected by greening treatments, depending on plant species. In A. membranaceus, the contents of total polyphenol was highest with no greening, total flavonoids with 3 days greening, DPPH radical scavenging effects with no greening, ABTS scavenging with 1 day greening, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating effects with no greening, and inhibitory activity against linoleic acid peroxidation with 3 day greening. In S. occidentalis, highest levels of antioxidant activity and radical scavenging effects were obtained by 2 day greening, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating effects by no greening and inhibitory activity against linoleic acid peroxidation by 1 day greening. In D. longicalyx, highest levels of antioxidant activity and $Fe^{2+}$ chelating effects were obtained by 2 day greening, $Fe^{2+}$ chelating effects by no greening and inhibitory activity against linoleic acid peroxidation by 1 day greening. In D. longicalyx, highest levels antioxidant activity and $Fe^{2+}$ chelating effects were observed with 3 day greening, and highest radical scavenging effects and inhibitory activity against linoleic acid peroxidation with no greening treatment. In P. asiatica, antioxidant activity and radicals scavenging effects were highest with 2 day greening, whereas highest chelating effects was obtained with no greening and highset inhibitory activity against linoleic acid peroxidation with 3 day greening. As the length of greening treatments influenced the antioxidant levels and function in plant species tested in this experiments, different culture methods are recommended for different plant species to get maximum health benefits out of sprout vegetables.

Eliot’s Four Quartets is maybe the most difficult to understand in his poems. In spite of that, Four Quartets has been studied in many respects. We can see that Four Quartets is meditative, philosophical and abstractive, but after we read it through more carefully, we can understand its meaning very well. Eliot categorizes time into three in “Burnt Norton”; past, present, future. We can apply Eliot``s time to a centripetal motion. In a centripetal motion, while the pendulums below (means all things which are in the world) change constantly and irregularly, a centripetal point doesn’t do so. For Eliot, the centripetal point is Word. That is, the way up and down is the same. The status which a centripetal point and a pendulum are harmonious with each other is “still point.” For example, Eliot embodies it; “present and past time are present in future time,” “what might have been and what has been point to one end.” etc. And for the purpose of representing still point, Eliot uses such images as “axle-tree, dance, rose-garden, darkness, words and love.” These images are key words in reading and appreciating Eliot’s “Burnt Norton.” Besides, to support these images, Eliot shows “destitution of all property,” “desiccation of the world of sense,” “inoperancy of the world of spirit.” Although Eliot defines time metaphysically and abstractively, we can recognize that he makes efforts to present time more visually and concretely.

One of the serious factors for honeybee decline is due to the various attacks from Vespa hornets, indigenous and invaded. Population monitoring as well as the alerting systems is requested against the Vespa. Automated image recognition is the primary step for the unmanned autonomous monitoring system development. This study compared the recent deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) algorithms such as AlexNet, VGG19, GoogLeNet, and ResNet50 for the best model selection for classification of 3 Vespa species, V. mandarinia, V. crabro and V. velutina. To evaluate classification performance, accuracy was utilized after transfer learning on each DCNN. As a result, the ResNet50 showed the best in terms of accuracy after sufficient training of 100 epochs. If performance and speed are considered simultaneously, AlexNet could be the alternative. The real-time monitoring system for objects requires both localization and classification. And Vespa occurrence or population change would need rapid recognition for the objects. Therefore speedy image recognition based on the DCNN, which combines localization and classification for objects in an image, should be considered in the future works.

Eliot uses Heraclitus`` space in his Four Quartets. Although he uses Heraclitus``s principle only in "Burnt Norton," it is the theme of Four Quartets. But many people tend to overlook this fact. Heraclitus asserts that the center of all things is logos, and all things always change in the center of logos. Also, Eliot begins "Burnt Norton" with an epigraph of Heraclitus``s spatial principle. He defines time as a continuation of past, present, and future. This can be explained only metaphysically, not physically. Using the same way as Heraclitus``s principle, Eliot points to a harmony between antitheses and the harmonious moment, which he calls the still point, just as Aristotle calls it an unmoved mover. Eliot represents the still point as "dance" and "love". In conclusion, Eliot relies on Heraclitus``s spatial principle, and he creates his most meditative philosophical poem, Four Quartets.
