Increasing height of tall buildings often requires supplementary damping system such as tuned mass damper (TMD) for occupant comfort in wind condition. Since the guide rail type TMD has advantages of smaller space requirement and bidirectional controllability, it is often preferred in Korea to the pendulum type TMD. For the guide rail type TMD, it is important to reduce the friction force between a moving mass and guide rails. In this paper, laminated rubber bearing is used to reduce the friction force in the guide rail type TMD. This rubber bearing also provide an additional stiffness and thereby the number of required spring can be reduced significantly. The performance of TMD is tested in factory as well as in site. It was found that the use of laminated rubber bearing reduced the friction force dramatically while the control performance target was met.

It is suggested that sensors were located at all of the freedoms to get accurate dynamic characteristics for the structures, but it is practically impossible. This study aims to develop a algorithm to find the optimal measurement location using Kalman filtering which estimates the unknown system information based on limited measured data. The acceleration data is used in this study in order to obtain more accurate dynamic characteristics compared with the velocity and the displacement data. A structure with 5 degree of freedoms with lateral displacement is used as an numerical example, and an algorithm is applied for selection of optimal measurement location when the number of sensors are limited. System information obtained using Kalman filtering is compared with actual system information. From the results, it is found that the algorithm can accurately estimate the unknown system information.

지난 20여 년 간 뇌 과학은 기능성 자기공명영상(fMRI) 등 새로운 기술에 힘입어 크게 발전했으며, 우리는 인간의 본성과 행동 변화에 대해 더욱 정확한 지식을 얻게 됐다. 이 같은 지식은 경영 분야에도 활발하게 응용되고 있다. 이 연구는 마이다스아이티의 사례를 통해 뇌과학을 경영에 어떻게 접목할 수 있는지 통찰을 얻는 것이 목적이다. 건설소프트웨어 회사인 이 회사는 별도 조직을 두어 뇌 과학을 연구하고 있으며, 뇌 과학에 기반한 인사 정책을 만들어 시행하고 있다. 창업자 이형우 사장은 인본주의 경영 철학을 갖고 있으며, 뇌 과학 연구는 그 철학을 뒷받침한다. 연구 방법으로 사례연구 방법을 채택하였으며, 인터뷰와 직접 관찰, 참여 관찰, 문서 정보 등의 절차를 수행했다. 이 회사의 인적자원관리 시스템은 뇌과학 연구가 응집된 ‘SCARF’라는 뇌과학 모델로 설명이 가능하다. 이 회사는 이 모델이 제시하는 것처럼 일터에서 지위감(Status), 확실성(Certainty), 자율감(Autonomy), 관계성(Relatedness), 공정성(Fariness) 위협을 줄임으로써 구성원의 신뢰와 만족도를 제고했고, 이는 창의적이고 고성과 조직이 되는 발판이 되었다. Over the past 20 years, brain science has developed rapidly thanks to new technologies such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), leading to more accurate knowledge of human nature and behavioral changes. This knowledge is also actively applied in the field of management. This research aimed to gain insights into how neuroscience can be incorporated into management through the case of Midas IT Co. This construction software company has a separate organization with the purpose of studying brain science, and it makes and implements human resource management policies based on brain science. The founder Lee Hyung-woo has a humanist management philosophy, and the company"s brain science research supports that philosophy. The case study method was adopted as the research method, and procedures such as interviews and direct observation, participation observation, and document information were carried out. The company"s human resource management system can be explained by a brain science model called "SCARF", which combines various neuroscience discoveries. As this model suggests, the company has improved the trust and satisfaction of its members by reducing threat of status and by increasing certainty, autonomy, relationship, and fairness in the workplace, resulting in the creation of a platform for creativity, integrity, and high performance.
현장타설 끼움벽체로 보강된 철근콘크리트 골조의 비선형 이력거동에 관한 해석적 연구

To develope an analytical tool for assessing seismic performance of lightly reinforced concrete frame strengthened with CIP infill wall, hysteresis failure models were developed and incorporated into computer program IDARC for dynamic analysis of LRC frame. These models are empirical expressions relating three hysteresis parameters which are the simulating deterioration behavior of stiffness(α), strength(β), pinching( γ ) to materials and geometric properties of reinforced concrete frame. The empirical expressions resulting from these regression analysis are the hysteresis failure models. Empirical expressions were developed for estimations of ultimate lateral shear strength, story drift ratio, ductility factor of existing reinforced concrete frame. The expression provide "benchmark" values for quick estimations of seismic capacity of reinforce concrete framstrengthened with CIP infill wall.

본 논문에서는 모바일 애플리케이션 개발자들의 시장 성공 가능성을 높이기 위하여 콘셉트 단계에서 시장성 및 수익성을 평가하여 사업 진행 여부를 평가해 주는 콘셉트 평가 모델에 개념과 프로세스를 제안하였다. 점차 빠르게 성장하고 있는 모바일 애플리케이션의 생태계를 강화시키기 위해서는 과학적인 방법으로 시장을 분석하여 애플리케이션을 개발하는 방법론이 필요하며 본 연구에서는 특히 중소 개발업체에 집중하여 방법론을 고민하였고 수요예측 정보와 시장의 기회정보가 필요하다는 것을 파악하고 이를 중점적으로 해결할 수 있는 방법론을 고안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 콘셉트 평가 모델을 통해 모바일 애플리케이션 생태계가 보다 건강해지고 다양한 비즈니스 기회가 창출될 것으로 기대한다.
만성 신부전 환자의 혈액투석중 폐기능 변화에 관한 연구

N/A Hypoxemia has occurred during the first 30-60 minutes of hemodialysis in patients with chronic renal failure who bad undergone hemodialysis regularly. It is primarily caused by hypoveniilation, secondary to carbon dioxide losses via dialysates and leukopenia associated with pulmonary vascular leukostasis which was induced by complement activation due to cuprophane membrane. However, there is still controversy over whether hypoxemia might be the result of bronchoconstriction during hemodialysis. To assess the relationship between hypoxemia and the changes of peripheral white blood cell counts and pulmonary function test when cuprophane membrane and acetate buffer solution had been used, arterial blood gas analysis, white blood cell counts, pulmonary function test during the first 120 minutes of hemodialysis were measured. The results were as follows: 1) The major falls of arterial blood oxygen tension occurred 15 minutes after the start of hemodialysis(p<0.05), and the biearbonate concentration significantly and gradually increased 30 minutes and 120 minutes after the start of hemodialysis(p<0.05). 2) The pulse rate significantly increased 15 minutes and 30minutes after the start of hemodialysis(p<0.05). 3) The arterial white blood cell counts and the precentage of neutrophil significantly decreased 15 minutes after the start of hemodialysis and then gradually recovered to a predialytic level(p<0.05), but the percentage of lymphocytes significantly increased 15 minutes after the start of hemodialysis and then gradually recovered to a predialytic level (p<0.05). 4) MMF, PEFR, and FEF75 significantly increased, but no significant changes of FEV1/FVC occurred during hemodialysis. Therefore, we suggest that acute hypoxemia may occur not due to bronchoconstriction, but due to pulmonary vascular leukostasis associated with complement activation.
