영작문 지도 시 협동작문 활동의 효과 및 기독교적 관점에서의 적절성에 대한 한국 대학생들의 인식

본 연구는 한국 대학생들의 영작문 지도에 있어서 협동영작문 활동을 하도록 한 후 영작문 학습에 미치는 협동작문 활동의 전반적인 효과 및 기독교적 영어 교육 관점에서의 적절성에 대한 이들의 인식을 알아보는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 그러기 위하여 2009년 9월부터 n월에 서울 소재 한 기독교 대학에서 영어 교육과에 개설된 한 전공과목 수강생인 33명의 영어교육과 전공 (또는 복수전공) 생 33명의 학생들을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 먼저, 사전 영작문 시험을 통해 이들의 영작문 수준을 파악한 후 이들을 더 우수한 학생과 그보다 못한 학생으로 구성되는 2인 1조의 조들로 편성하고, 이 기간 동안 총 6회에 걸쳐 협동영작문 활동을 하도록 하였는데 이 때 영작문 주제는 이들이 수강하고 있던 과목과 관련된 주제들로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 이들에게 협동작문의 효과 및 협동의 방식의 유형들에 대한 안내는 하였으나, 이들이 어떠한 측면에서 어떠한 방식으로 협동해야 하는 지는 이들 각각의 조가 정하도록 하였다. 협동영작문 활동을 모두 마친 후 이에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위하여 이들에게 설문조사를 하였고 설문 응답 결과는 sPssls. 0올 통해 빈도분석 하였다. 그 결과, 협동영작 문 활동은 이들의 영작문에 있어서 글의 내용 및 짜임새를 포함한 언어적 측면에 도움이 된다는 인식이 지배적이었고, 정의적인 측면에서도 쓰기불안감 해소, 쓰기자신감 향상, 공동체의식 함양 둥의 측면에서 효과적이라는 긍정적인 인식 올 보인 응답자가 매우 많았고, 그 결과 협동영작문 활동에 대한 전반적인 인식 역시 긍정적인 경우들이 많았다. 또한, 이러한 협동영작문 활동이 기독교적 관 점에서의 영어지도에 적절한 지에 대한 질문을 하였는데, 협동영작문 활동의 특성은 기독교에서 강조하는 특성들인 상호협동, 긍정적인 의존, 자기책임감/ 책 무성, 구성원들의 책임에 있어서의 균둥성, 공동체 의식 등의 측면이 협동작문 활동에서도 경험되는 것을 고려하여 대다수 응답자들이 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 이에 덧붙여, 협동영작문 활동 시조구성 방식이 활동의 효과에 미치는 영향을 고려하여 조 구성 및 평가 방법을 신중히 강구한 다면 협동작문 활동은 일반적인 차원에서의 영작문 지도뿐만 아니라 기독교적인 관점에서의 영작문 지도에도 매우 적절할 것으로 여겨진다.

2인자 지분분산성분모형에서 합분산에 대한 σ²_A의 비의 신뢰구간의 범위에 관한 연구

이 논문은 2인자 지분분산성분모형 y_ijk = μ + A_i + B_ij + C_ijk의 합분산에 대한 신뢰구간 중에서 근사신뢰구간인 경우가 많아서 그 신뢰구간들이 100 (1-α)%에 꼭 맞는지 또는, 꼭 맞지 않다면 그 신뢰구간이 어느 정도 근사한지가 밝혀져야 앞으로 더 좋은 신뢰구간이 필요한지에 대한 의문이 해결되고 그 신뢰구간을 추정과 검정에 적용할 수 있기 때문에 σ²_A/(σ²_A + σ²_B + σ²_C)에 대한 Graybill과 Wang의 신뢰구간의 확률범위가 100(1-α)%보다 큰 지 또는, 작은 지 아니면 같은 지를 수학적인 증명에 의하여 그 범위를 구하였다. 그리고 실제활용에서 더 좋은 신뢰구간의 가능성을 보였다. In this paper, there are a lot of approximation confidence intervals among confidence intervals of the two-factor nested variance component model, that is, y_ijk = μ + A_i + B_ij + C_ijk , so that in this case where the acquired confidence intervals exactly fit 100(1- α )% or not, if not they are to be found how close and then the question that better confidence intervals are necessary or not is solved. And because we can apply the confidence intervals to an estimation and a test, we should the range by the mathematical computation that the probability range of these confidence intervals by Graybill and Wang for σ²_A/(σ²_A + σ²_B + σ²_C) are equals and whether greater than 100(1- α )% or not. And we showed possibility of better confidence intervals in real application.

예비영어교사의 평가 전문성 신장 방안: 자기성찰 기반 평가과업 개발 프로그램을 중심으로

본 연구는 예비영어교사 양성프로그램에서의 교사전문성 발달과정에서 평가 전문성 발달의 필요성을 인지 하고 이들의 평가 전문성을 발달시키기 위하여 자기성찰활동을 기반으로 하여 평가도구 개발 능력 향상을 중심으로 한 방안을 제시하고 이에 대한 예비영어교사 들의 인식을 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로 예비영어교사의 평가전문성 신장을 위한 강좌를 2015학년도 1학기에 개발하여, 서 울 소재 한 대학교에서 2015년 2학기에 영어교육평가 관련 전공선택 강좌를 공통으로 수강하는 예비영어교사 13명을 대상으로 15주간에 걸쳐 운영하였다. 이에 대한 이들의 인식조사를 위해서 15주차에 이들에게 자기성찰보고서를 작성하도록 하고 이들을 대상으로 집단면접조사를 실시하여 자료들을 수집하고 이를 질적 분석 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째 영어평가에 관한 지식과 실제 평가 도구 개발에 학습을 중심으로 하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 프로그램을 통해 평가과업을 단계적으로 개발 하도록 유도하며 각 단계마다 자기성찰을 기반으로 학 습해나가도록 하였다. 둘째, 이 프로그램에 대한 이들 의 인식을 분석한 결과, 평가 기능에 대한 이들의 인식 이 개선되었고, 이론과 접목하며 평가과업을 개발하는 능력이 발달되었으며, 단계적 학습과정·자기성찰활동 등이 학습과정 및 결과에 긍정적 효과를 미친다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. Given that there is a need to develop their assessment expertise on the pre-service English teacher training program, this study aims at proposing a program for pre-service English teachers` assessing expertise, using self reflection-based assessment development tasks and exploring their perceptions on the program. The participants were 13 pre-service English teachers enrolled in a course of English assessment in the English Education Department at a university in Seoul. The participants completed written self-reflection reports and participated in a 30-minute group interview both of which revealed their perceptions of the program. The collected data were analysed according to a qualitative analysis procedure. According to the results the participants` perceptions were that: 1) the assessment task-centered program was appropriate for assessment expertise development; 2) the program were conducive to developing their assessment expertise in various ways; 3) self-reflection activities in the program helped them become aware of their learning process and motivated for learning. The results suggest that there is a need for further research for more developed assessment expertise programs in this study.

고등학생들의 영작문 평가를 위한 평가 척도 개발의 필요성

As writing skill is considered important in globalised societies nowadays, the skill is taught and assessed in English classrooms in Korea. As for assessment, however, there are no authoritative rating schemes suggested for classroom testing contexts. Given this lack, this study investigates the applicability of one of the existing scales, the FCE rating scale for writing assessment, to Korean high school contexts through both theoretical considerations and an empirical study. From both the theoretical perspectives and the empirical study, in which three English teachers at Korean high schools were asked to assess 6 writing samples using the FCE scale and to do think-aloud during the assessment, it was found that the FCE scale in this context tends to cause problems for the validity of the assessment. It was, therefore, concluded that, for the sake of validity, this kind of scale cannot be applied to the context for which it was not developed, and that there is a need to develop a rating scale, taking into account the characteristics of test-takers, raters and assessment context in question.

예비영어교사들의 창의적 수업역량 계발을 위한 수업방법 지도 방안

목적 본 연구는 영어 교과에서 창의성 교육 및 창의성 함양 수업방법의 필요성와 중요성을 인식하고, 미래의 학교 현장에서 창의성 함양 수업방법을 운영해야 할 예비영어교사들의 수업역량 계발을 위해 창의성 함양 수업방법의 특징들을 고찰하고 예비영어교사들의 창의적 수업역량 계발을 위한 효율적인 지도 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 창의성의 특징 및 창의적 수업방법과 기법들에 대한 연구들을 문헌연구하였다. 결과 예비영어교사들의 창의적 수업역량 계발을 위한 지도 방안으로서 첫째, 영어 교과와 창의성 간 통합 수업으로 설계하도록 지도하고, 둘째, 과업 중심 교수법을 토대로 수업을 구성하도록 지도한다. 마지막으로, 과업 중심 교수법을 운영하는 과정 중에 학습자들의 생각을 유도하기 위한 창의성 촉진 사고기법 및 전략들을 적절히 활용하도록 지도한다. 결론 이와 같은 지도 방안이 효과가 있기 위해서는 예비영어교사들에게 있어 창의성 교육 및 창의적 수업역량에 대한 인식 제고가 선행되어야 하므로 이들이 교원양성과정에서 전공교과목들을 이수하는 중에 이를 충분히 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공해야 함을 제언하였다. Objectives Given the necessity and importance of creativity education and creativity development teaching methods in English subjects, this study aims to examine the characteristics of creative teaching for teaching competency development of pre-English teachers who need to design and manage creative teaching in the future, and to suggest effective teaching methods for the development of their creative teaching competency. Methods For this purpose, the study examined the previous studies on the characteristics of creativity and creative teaching methods and techniques. Results Based on the review of the literature, for developing pre-service English teachers’ creative teaching competency, they need to be taught: first, to design integrated classes between English subject and creativity; second, to construct classes using task-based language teaching; and finally, to appropriately incorporate creativity- promoting thinking techniques and strategies into the task-based classes. Conclusions It is suggested that pre-service English teachers should be given an opportunity to fully experience creatively taught major courses on the teacher training programme which could lead to development of their creativity and creative teaching competency.

기독교 세계관을 통해 본 영어평가의 양상

Nowadays English is used as a lingua franca all over the world and many attentions have been paid on the learning and teaching of English at different school levels. As a result various kinds of teaching methodologies have been presented up to date since the early 20th centuiy, which has lent itself to the shift in assessment. Assessment in 1950-60s put an emphasis upon reliability in testing and mainly employed traditional testing methods-one-shot, decontextualised, mutliple-choice type of testing- whilst assessment since 1990s may be characterised into the following fIve aspects: focus-on validity, test-takers, and authenticity and the introduction of performance assessment and alternative assessmentS From the Christian world view, the former (1950-60s) could be understood to be the aspects of corruption while the latter (since 1990s) to be those of redemption, i.e, the recovery into the nature of creation. That is, since current testing is to try to assess test-taker`s ability as with validity as possible and accordingly to increase positive washback effects of testing upon teaching and learning, it should be compatible with the nature of creation from the Christian world view: to assess learner`s English ability and understanding of foreign cultures, and then to help develop service mind for others, and use English for God and His nation. The marks of corruption with language testing are, unfortunately, still observed from the current testing methods. Efforts should be, therefore, made to make it recovered to the nature of creation with language testing as far as possible and it would be one of the responsibilities of Christian English teachers and researchers.
