A Study on the Development of the Storytelling Contents based on the Exile Life and Literature Works of Man-Jung Kim

This paper proposes how to develop storytelling contents for foster local culture industry based on the lifestyle and literature works of Man-Jung Kim, a great scholar in the late Joseon dynasty. He wrote various literary works such as classic novels, poetries, proses, and criticisms during his exile life. Storytelling content based on his work will play an important role in globalizing Korean contents. The development method of storytelling contents uses the basic elements: ‘text + narration + champ’ based on the champ theory. We will look at similar storytelling content development cases based on the exile literature in Korea and benchmark them to develop Kim’s storytelling content development plans. Twelve experts participate to brainstorm for developing various new ideas of storytelling contents. It is important to approach Kim's work from a comprehensive and integrated perspective in order to develop valuable storytelling contents. Concludingly, to build local cultural assets, it is important to focus not only on the core values of Kim’s works, but also in building a collaborative system among local governments, storytellers, cultural artists, tourists, and citizens.

좁은 직경 임플란트의 후향적 관찰 연구

Purpose: To Analyse clinical treatment outcomes and prognosis of patients who have received narrow diameter implants due to anterior tooth loss, and to assess long-term success measured through radiological examination. Material and Methods: From December 2006 to June 2017, Thirty-six patients were selected, and fifty-two narrow diameter implants were inserted by 1 surgeon. All prosthetic appliance were fabricated by the two prosthodontist. The dental records of each patient were reviewed. Measuring of marginal bone loss and accessing implant success rate were performed. Results: Thirty-nine NR lines (Dentium, Suwon, Korea) and thirteen Slim lines (Dentium, Suwon, and Korea) were inserted. The implant used was 2mm to 4.3mm in diameter and 9mm to 12mm in length. NR line implant success rate was 87.2%, survival rate was 92.1%, and Slimline line implant success rate was 92.3%, and survival rate was 92.3%. The average marginal bone loss was 0.22±0.4 mm and 0.07 ± 0.23 mm respectively. Conclusion: The narrow diameter implant is a reliable implant treatment that can be used in patients with problems with tooth loss. The success rate between the NR line and the slim lines implant was not significantly different and was clinically acceptable.

5‧18민주화운동과 부마민주항쟁 기념행사의 활성화를 위한 공조 가치

Since the May 18 Democratization Movement and the Buma Democratic Uprising were designated as national anniversaries due to resistance to the industrialization dictatorship of the military regime at the same time, it will be possible to cooperate in the planning and progress of major programs of their commemoration events. However, the actual situation is not so, and even related academic studies do not point this aspect out. This study examines the value of cooperation to revitalize the May 18 Democratization Movement and the commemorative event of the Buma Uprising. To this end, Chapter 2 analyzes the laws and ordinances related to the commemorative events of the two protests, examines the legal basis for cooperation and the programs actually held. Chapter 3 analyzes previous studies on the May 18 commemorative events and the meaning of the Buma uprising, and Chapter 4 discusses the value of cooperation while emphasizing cooperation to revitalize the two major uprising commemorative events nationwide. As a result, it was found that the spirit of nationality, democracy, and human rights is the value of cooperation to nationalize the commemorative event in accordance with the laws and regulations related to the two protests. In addition, this research emphasizes the need to coordinate the overall totality of the democratization movement and the individual locality of the hometown even when cooperating in the operation of the two protest commemorative events. Finally, this study invites a methodology that can effectively inherit the ideology of democracy by illuminating the current meaning of the democratization movement commemorative event.

집단지성기반의 『구운몽』디지털 이미지 콘텐츠 개발 방안 연구

본 연구에서는 서포 김만중의 문학작품 '구운몽'의 이야기를 활용한 현대적인 디지털 이미지 콘텐츠 개발 필요성과 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위한 유망한 방법으로 집단지성을 활용하고자 한다. 오늘날 대부분의 문화콘텐츠 개발은 기획단계에서부터 완성단계까지 여러 사람들의 협업을 통한 디지털기술의 적용으로 이루어지고 있다. 지역문화콘텐츠의 경우 그 지역을 배경으로 하거나 그 지역 출신 작가의 문학작품을 원형으로 개발되는 경우가 많다. 이러한 지역문화자원을 체험관광상품으로 발전시켜 지역문화산업의 발전에 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 먼저 지역문화콘텐츠를 효과적으로 개발하기 위한 방법으로 집단지성의 이용가능성을 검토하고, 디지털 이미지 콘텐츠 개발에 있어서의 이미지텔링 기법의 적용과 웹툰 캐릭터 활용 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 실제 적용가능성을 입증하기 위하여 『구운몽』문화콘텐츠 개발사례를 제시한다. 마지막으로 지속적인 협업을 통한『구운몽』을 소재로 한 문화콘텐츠의 창작과 유통을 위하여 집단지성기반의 새로운 비즈니스모델을 제안한다. The purpose of this study is to explore the necessity and method of the development of modern digital image contents using the story of the literary work ‘Guunmong’' by Kim Man-joong. Collective intelligence technique is one of the most recommended. Today, most cultural content development is achieved through the application of digital technology through collaboration of various people from the planning stage to the completion stage. Most prototypes of local cultural contents are developed based on the literary works of artists from the region or background of the region on the works. These local cultural resources can be developed into experiential tourism products and used for the development of local cultural industry. This study first examines the availability of collective intelligence method as a way to effectively develop local cultural contents, and proposes application of image-telling technique and using web-toon characters in digital image contents development. In order to prove the practical applicability of the proposed method, we present an example of cultural contents development of 'Guunmong'. Finally, we propose a new business model based on collective intelligence to develop a system of creation and distribution of the cultural contents through the continuous collaboration.

초월적이고 화평한 신금(宸襟)을 생기하는 구운몽에 관한 학제적 탐색

This study explores whether the narrative of Seopo Kim Man-jung's novel Guunmong contains a metaphor that guides King Sukjong to the path of enlightenment. In the literature, the title of Guunmong is used to mean "a wide and wide peace of mind," which is similar to the state of mind, which is the condition of the transcendent beings, like the Taoist-gods. The basis for this is that the title of Guunmong itself can be seen as a metaphor created by Seopo. A man like the status of a king(Yang So-yu) is a superhuman hero character who explores the transcendent world. Yang So-yu, who is a Confucian scholar, is enlightened and grown in the stage of "修身齊家治國平天下". And he builds a happy family with a peaceful heart and creates a country with loyalty and discipline. This paper seeks to find the context in which the author sought to innovate social awareness through dreams along with Taoist ideas that were popular at the time. This study aims to be considered from an interdisciplinary perspective based on the "Nozonbon," which is said to be the closest to the original Guunmong among many copies of Guunmong. This is not discussed based on the existing perspective, but I think it will contribute to the expansion of the research of Guunmong, which has increased in value due to the academic enthusiasm of prestigious scholars.

A Study on the Structure of Heroic Narratives in the Tale of Taoist Wizard <Jeonwuchi>

This paper examines the structural aspects of heroic narratives in the classic novel <Jeonwuchijeon: Tale of Jeonwuchi> and the modern movie <Jeonwuchi>. The novel is a work depicting the heroic achievements of Taoist wizard Jeonwuchi, the main character in the novel. It also analyzes the discourse structure of the film version of the tale, <Jeonwuchi>, through Joseph Campbell’s theory of the Hero’s Journey. The main objectives of this paper are to identify the limits of modern modifications of cultural archetypes based on Jeonwuchi’s heroism, and to seek out new directions for the reproduction of glocal (global + local) cultural contents. Unlike the original text, the film’s discourse structure related to heroism is either diminished entirely or modified into various narratives. The protagonist Jeonwuchi and his story especially has been re-imagined in a way that depicts him as a rather playful character. This kind of characterization is problematic for the reproduction of future cultural contents involving heroes because the literary narratives and works featuring Jeonwuchi that have been passed down and modified all contain elements of a hero narrative. By channeling his superhuman abilities (Taoist magic), Jeonwuchi helps the people and gains power for himself as well. This kind of narrative element makes one see the potential of storytelling that features Korea’s unique heroism which may even allow it to become cultural contents on a global scale. Therefore, this paper rediscover the value of Korean hero narratives through a literary review of the archetype and analysis of narrative structure of the film <Jeonwuchi> based on Joseph Campbell’s theory of the Hero’s Journey and Christopher Vogler’s writing methodology. Based on the results, this paper concludes that Campbell’s theory is indeed an effective method which upon the narratives of the <Tale of Jeonwuchi> can be established as a new genre in the form of ‘Korean hero contents’.

비글견의 두개골 결손부에 이식한 동종골과자가골의 치유 비교: 예비 동물 실험

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the healing process after autogenous and allogenous bone grafts for calvarial bone defects in beagles. Materials and Methods: Two defects were formed in the skulls of two beagles and then grafted with a freeze-dried bone allograft (Double-Oss) and an autogenous bone chip, respectively. The clinical, radiographic, and histomorphometric examination results of the specimens taken 4 and 8 weeks after bone grafting were analyzed. Results: The clinical, radiographic, and histological assessments revealed that 4 and 8 weeks after transplant, the beagle that received an autogenous bone graft was more likely to have high new bone formation than the beagle that had an allogenous bone. Four weeks after the transplant, the proportions of new bone formation were 11.5% and 35.8% in the allogenous and autogenous bones, respectively. Eight weeks after the transplant, the proportion of new bone formation with the allogenous bone increased significantly to 41.4% but was still less than the 65.6% with the autogenous bone. Conclusion: The amount of new bone formation was smaller and the formation rate was slower with allogenous bone graft than with autogenous bone graft. Keywords: Allogenous bone, Autogenous bone, Bone graft Ⅰ. 서론 : 치아상실, 외상, 종양 등으로 인해 구강 및 두개악안면 부위에 다양한 골 결손이 발생할수 있다. 골 결손의 크기 및 상태에 따라 다양한 골이식술이 필요하며 자가골을 비롯하여 자가 치아 골이식재, 동종골, 이종골 및 합성골이 단독으로 혹은 복합적으로 사용되고 있다1, 2. 자가골은 골형성(osteogenesis), 골유도(osteoinduction), 골전도(osteoconduction) 기능을 모두 가지고 있으면서 면역 혹은감염학적인 문제 발생 위험이 적으며, 혈행이 불량하거나 광범위한 결손부에 유용하게 적용할 수 있는가장 이상적인 골이식재이다. 하지만 여전히 이식재 채취를 위한 추가적인 공여부가 필요하고, 그 특성상 채취량에 제한이 있다는 단점이 존재한다3, 4. 따라서, 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해 동종골, 이종골, 합성골 등 다양한 재료들이 개발되었고 이미 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 중 특히 동종골은 자가골을 대체할수 있는 좋은 이식재로 소개되고 있으며, 이와 관련된 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 동종골은 이식재채취를 위한 공여부가 필요치 않아 자가골 이식 시 공여부의 합병증이 없고, 별도의 채취 과정이 없기때문에 술식이 단순하고 수술시간이 짧아지는 장점이 있다. 최근 다양한 동종골 제품들이 소개되고 있으며 이식 후 골재생이 이루어지는 치유 능력이 자가골에 비하여 크게 떨어지지 않는다고 보고되기도하였다5. 하지만 광범위한 결손부에 동종골만을 적용할 수 있는지에 대하여 여전히 논란이 있으며 자가골에 비해 골형성 속도가 느린 것은 분명하다5, 6. 본 연구에서는 비글견의 두개골 전층 결손부에 자가골과 동종골을 이식한 후 치유 과정을 살펴보기위한 예비 실험이 시행되었다. 본 연구에서 사용된 동종골 Double-Oss® (Dentree, Seoul, Korea)는 피질골과 해면골을 6:4의 비율로 혼합하여 각각의 장점을 최대화시킬 목적으로 제조된 제품이고 이 제품을 이식한 후 치유과정을 살펴본 논문이 거의 없기 때문에 본 예비 연구를 기획하게 되었다. V. 결론 : 본 예비 동물실험에서 비글견의 두개골 결손부에 이식한 동종골은 자가골에 비해서 신생골 형성량이적긴 하였지만 이물 염증 반응없이 양호한 치유를 보였고 임상에서 적용할 수 있는 가능성이 확인되었다. 또한 우수한 골유도 및 골전도성 치유를 보일 수 있는 동종골을 제작하기 위해 피질골과 해면골을적정 비율로 혼합한 제품들을 제조할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다고 생각된다.

『주역(周易)』몽괘(蒙卦)로 본 『구운몽』의 주제의식

본 연구의 목적은 『주역』 몽괘의 계몽적 맥락과 숙종(肅宗)에 대한 서포의 충정과 당쟁 사건을 비교하면서 『구운몽』의 주제의식을 문화콘텐츠 창작을 위한 스토리텔링 관점에서 새롭게 해석하고 탐색하는 것이다. 『주역』 몽괘는 계몽(啓蒙), 즉 도(道)를 위한 교육의 의미가 있다. 몽괘의 효사는 중국 주(周) 나라의 어린 성왕(成王)이 숙부인 주공(周公)의 섭정에 따라 차츰 계몽(격몽)되면서 궁극에는 성군(聖君)이 된다는 이야기를 기호로 상징화한 스토리텔링이라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 『구운몽』은 17세기 숙종 때에 서포가 저작한 목적 소설로 계몽(교육)적인 일면을 내포하고 있다. 주인공 성진의 ‘꿈속의 또 다른 주인공 양소유’는 8명의 부인들과 함께 성공적인 삶의 모습을 보여주는데, 이것은 제왕의 위상이다. 대학자이자 정치가였던 50대의 김만중은 20대 중반의 왕 숙종이 장옥정(희빈)을 재 입궁시킨 후에 정쟁에 휘말려 정계에서 퇴출되어 유배형을 당했지만, 젊은 숙종이 격몽(擊蒙)되어서 치세하는 성군이 되기를 원했다. 『구운몽』의 서사와 숙종의 정황은 몽괘의 효사처럼 어리고 어리석은 사람이 깨달음에 이른다는 이야기에 적용할 수 있다. 즉 몽괘의 계몽성은『구운몽』 주제의식을 통해 서포가 당시 사회에 전하고자 한 이념적 메시지를 은유적으로 포괄하고 있다고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this paper is to newly interpret and explore the thematic consciousness of 『Guunmong』 from a storytelling perspective for the creation of cultural contents, comparing the enlightening context of "the commentary of Meng-gua(蒙卦) of 『the Book of Changes(周易)』" with the loyalty of Man-Jung Kim for King Sukjong in the party strife. It is said that the Meng-gua(蒙卦) had the meaning of education for enlightenment. The commentary of Meng-gua(蒙卦) is storytelling by symbolizes the story of King Seong, who is the young king of Chinese. He is gradually becomes enlightened according to the regent of his uncle, Jugong and ultimately becomes a great king. 『Guunmong』 is a novel written during King Sukjong's reign in the 17th century and contains an educational aspect. So-yu Yang, who is a another protagonist in the dream of the main character of Seong-jin, shows a successful life with eight wives. That is like the status of the king. Man-Jung Kim was driven out of politics and exiled because of the political strife by the event of Ok-Jeong Jang, but Man-Jung Kim was worried about King Sukjong in the fate amid the difficult events. And he wanted the King to be enlightened. The narrative of 『Guunmong』 and the circumstances of King Sukjong can be compared to the story of a young and foolish king becoming a saint king like the commentary of Meng-gua(蒙卦). In other words, the Enlightenment, which is implicit in the story of the young King Seong and the story of the young King Sukjong, metaphorically encompasses the ideological message that 『Guunmong』 was trying to convey to society at that time.

포스트모던 디자인 특징에 따른 게임 캐릭터 분류

본 연구의 목적은 포스트모더니즘의 사상적 토대 안에서 포스트모던 디자인의 종류인 패러디, 모조, 차용, 패스티쉬를 게임 캐릭터 디자인의 사용에 접목된 예를 고찰하는 연구로 진행되었다. 포스트모더니즘의 사상 속에서 세상의 디자인들은 대중문화와 고급문화가 뒤섞이고, 우연성이 강조되며, 무작위적인 콜라주의 형태를 보인다. 게임 캐릭터 역시 이와 같은 요소들을 가지고 있다. 게임 캐릭터 디자인의 분야 역시 포스트모더니즘적 사상이 투영되어 있을 것이라 판단하였고, 이를 먼저 고찰한 후 한·중·미·일의 국가에서 제작된 영향력 있는 게임을 선정하여, 등장하는 캐릭터를 포스트모던 디자인의 분류에 맞게 분류하였다. The goal of this research is contemplation on whether postmodern design concepts such as parody, simulation, appropriation, pastiche apply to the character design in games, within bounds of postmodernism. In this philosophy, designs display a mixture of advanced culture and mass culture, emphasize philosophical contingency, and appear to be a random collage of ideas. it was perceived that the visual art in game character design is also a projection of the postmodernist philosophy. Upon analyzing this perception, character designs categorized based on the applicability of postmodern designs.

소듐냉각고속로(원형로) 주요기기 제작 특성

The prototype SFR has currently been under design by KAERI. The size of its major components is much larger than that of APR1400 and high temperature materials are applied for it. The increased size of components and those specific materials effect on material procurement, manufacturing process and fabrication facilities. The manufacturing methods are studied for Reactor Vessel/Guard Vessel, Control Rod Drive Mechanism, Heat Exchanger, Primary Pump, Reactor Vessel Internals, Steam Generator and In-Vessel Transfer Machine. The proper manufacturing methods are suggested for each component including side forging technology for ultra large forgings of Reactor Vessel to minimize the weld seams on which In-service Inspection should be conducted.
