Multidirectional coronary artery fistulas (CAFs) are rare in patients with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). We report an adult patient who underwentopen-heart surgery for TOF 24 years before the discussed presentation. Coronary angiogram and cardiac computed tomography revealedmultidirectional CAFs originating from the left main coronary artery and draining to the left atrium, pulmonary artery and subphrenicartery. The patient also showed additional congenital anomalies, such as persistent left superior vena cava and right-sided aorticarch.
Relationship between uric acid and blood pressure in different age groups

Introduction: Serum uric acid (UA) has been known to have a positive association with blood pressure (BP). However, the relationship between serum UA and BP in different age groups is unclear. Methods: A total of 45,098 Koreans who underwent health examinations at Korea Association of Health Promotion with no history of taking drugs related with UA and/or BP were analyzed for determining the relationship between serum UA and BP. Results: In men <40, serum UA was significantly associated with systolic (β = 0.25, p = 0.002) and diastolic BP (β = 0.41, p < 0.001) after adjustment for age, diabetes, dyslipidemia, body mass index, and estimated glomerular filtration rate. Men between ages 40 and 59 showed similar results regarding diastolic BP. The association between serum UA and BP was stronger in women <40 (β = 0.54, p < 0.001 for systolic BP; β = 0.65, p < 0.001 for diastolic BP) and in between 40 and 59 (β = 0.51, p < 0.001 for diastolic BP). The association was not significant in men and women ≥60. The odds ratios (ORs) of hyperuricemia for hypertension were 1.25 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.08 to 1.45; p = 0.003) and 1.33 (95% CI, 1.11 to 1.60; p = 0.002) in men <40 and in between 40 and 59, respectively, in the multivariate analysis. The OR was 2.60 (95% CI, 1.37 to 4.94; p = 0.0034) in women <40. The relationship between hyperuricemia and hypertension was not significant in other age/gender groups. Discussion: In contrast to the elderly of 60 and over, the non-elderly showed significant associations between serum UA and BP.
Analysis of Electric Field for Overhead Power Transmission Lines by Using 3‑D Method of Moment

In this paper, the Method of Moment (MoM) is used for the electric feld analysis of a three-dimensional transmission line. Using this method, only the structure in which electric charges exist needs to be divided into elements. Therefore, in the case of overhead transmission lines, only the conductor structure such as the lines and tower is subject to element division. Furthermore, unlike the Finite Element Method (FEM), there is no error in the boundary conditions at the outer boundary of the analysis region. However, since the image charge efect of the ground and the multi-section transmission line increases the number of elements, consideration for the efciency of the calculation is needed. The boundary conditions, assuming that the ground was a perfect conductor was applied to the image charge efect to prevent the increase of the number of variables. In addition, we propose the use of infnite periodic boundary conditions based on the Matrix Pencil Method (MPM) to consider the multi-section transmission line structure. The proposed infnite periodic boundary conditions reduce the size of the analysis matrix by replacing the infnite section with just one section. For the verifcation of the proposed algorithm, EMDEX II from Narda STS was used to compare with the actual measurement results.
