어머니의 격리불안 및 양육태도가 영아의 보육시설적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 어머니의 격리불안과 양육태도가 영아의 보육시설 적응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 162명의 어머니와 32명의 보육교사를 대상으로 실시하였으며 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 격리불안과 영아의 보육시설 적응과의 미치는 영향을 볼 때, 어머니의 격리불안이 낮을수록 영아의 친사회성, 긍정적 감정, 자아강도, 또래관계에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 격리불안이 양육태도에 미치는 영향을 볼 때 격리불안이 낮을수록 애정적-자율적 양육태도에 긍정적 영향을 미치지만 애정적-통제적 양육태도에서는 일반적인 격리불안이 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어머니의 양육에 대한 절대적 믿음과 가치가 커질수록 애정적-통제적 양육태도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 양육태도가 어머니의 격리불안과 영아의 보육시설 적응에 유의한 매개효과를 나타내었다. This study examined the effects of mother’s separation anxiety and parenting attitude on infant’s adjustment to child-care center. The participants were 162 infants’ mothers and 32 teachers. Results indicated that First, it was shown that mothe’s separation anxiety were negatively associated with infant’s sociability, positive emotion, ego intensity, and peer relationship. tSecond, mother’s separation anxiety positively affected affectional-autonomic parenting behavior, whereas separation anxiety negatively affected affectional-controling parenting behavior. Third, mother’s parenting showed significant mediating effects on the association between mother’s separation anxiety and infant’s adjustment to child-care institutions.

Since the conventional methods of physical therapy may decrease the motivation of a patient for rehabilitation due to repetitive, monotonous movement, a new physical therapy system inducing a motivation from the patient is needed. The present study is intended to develop a physical therapy serious game for enhancement of dynamic balance control. The balance control therapy game was developed by the following steps: (1) survey of existing balance control therapy systems, (2) analysis of balance control literature, (3) ideation and architecture planning of the balance control therapy game, and (4) implementation of the balance control therapy game. The proposed physical therapy serious game can provide better usability, satisfaction, clinical effectiveness for balance control than the conventional methods.

Purpose: This study was aimed to compare hydration status between young and elderly end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients on hemodialysis (HD) and to analyze factors related to overhydration. Methods: We measured fluid status before a mid-week HD session in clinically stable 47 patients on maintenance HD using bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) device. In addition, weight and blood pressure (BP) were recorded during the treatment. Results: Participants were divided into young (<65 years, n=32) and elderly (65 years, n=15) patients.≥In elderly patients, pre-HD diastolic BP, intracellular water (ICW), and lean tissue index (LTI) were significantly lower and extracellular water (ECW)/total body water (TBW) was significantly higher than in young patients. However, there were no differences in pre-HD body mass index (BMI), ultrafiltration volume, pre-HD systolic BP, TBW, ECW, and fat tissue index between the two groups. ECW/TBW ratio and LTI were significantly correlated with age. In a multivariate regression analysis, age and pre-HD pulse pressure were significantly associated with ECW/TBW. Conclusion: Although BMI and TBW of elderly ESRD patients were similar to those of young patients, ICW and LTI were lower and ECW/TBW was higher in elderly patients than in young patients. Therefore, clinical manifestations related to overhydration may develop more frequently in elderly patients compared with young patients.

A haircut, one of the ways to express one’s beauty, generates waste, which is hair. Hair is classified as domestic waste and buried, incinerated, or dumped in the sea in that order. Hair waste is generated less than other types of waste, but its quantity has continuously increased. The research studied meanings of recycled hair in modern art and modern fashion, analyzed expression methods of the design works expressed with recycled hair, and made accessories by collecting photo data from websites, newspapers, hair magazines, graduation projects of the beauty universities, and exhibitions both home and abroad, and by recycling hair waste.

Purpose: This study was undertaken to elucidate whether CC chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2) exists in human peritoneal mesothelial cells (HPMCs) and whether monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) has direct effects on epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) and fibronectin expression in HPMCs. Methods: HPMCs were isolated from a piece of human omentum and were incubated with M199 media containing 5.6 mM glucose (LG), 5.6 mM glucose+94.4 mM mannitol (LG+M), LG+10 ng/mL recombinant human MCP-1 (LG+MCP-1), or 100 mM glucose (HG) with or without a specific inhibitor of CCR2, 1.0 μM RS102895, for 4 days. Levels of secreted MCP-1 in culture media were determined by ELISA. Western blot was performed to determine fibronectin, E-cadherin, α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and CCR2 protein expression. Results: MCP-1 protein levels were significantly increased in HG-conditioned media compared to LG media (p<0.05). CCR2 protein was expressed in HPMCs, but there was no difference between LG-and HG-stimulated cells. α-SMA protein expressions in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups were significantly higher relative to LG cells, while E-cadherin protein expressions were decreased in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups compared to LG cells (p<0.05). In addition, there were significant increases in fibronectin mRNA and protein expression in HG and LG+MCP-1 groups (p<0.05). These HG-induced changes were significantly abrogated upon pre-treatment with RS102895. Conclusion: HG and MCP-1 directly induce EMT and enhance fibronectin expression in HPMCs, and these HG-induced changes were attenuated by the inhibition of MCP-1/CCR2 system, suggesting that increased MCP-1 levels by HG may contribute to the development of peritoneal fibrosis.

Background/Aims: Colonoscopy is a painful procedure. Therefore conscious sedation is often used. However, the value of adding analgesics to sedatives has not been well evaluated. Methods: The double blind, randomized controlled trial was carried out to compare patients` and endoscopist` assessments in both groups of patients: MP (Midazolam/Placebo) group (n=49) received midazolam plus placebo and MM (Midazolam/Meperidine) group (n=51) received midazolam plus meperidine. Results: There was no significant difference of baseline characteristics except previous operation history. There were no significant difference of grade of tolerance, pain and willingness to another colonoscopy between the two groups. In endoscopist` satisfaction, the degree of difficulty was higher in MP group than in MM group (39.0 vs. 31.7, p<0.05). After the colonoscopy, systolic blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and pulse rate were significantly decreased (p<0.05) in both groups. However, there was no difference in the degree of decrease between the two groups. The incidence of adverse effect was not different in the two groups. However, one case of orthostatic hypotension with presyncope was noted in MM group. Conclusions: Adding meperidine to the midazolam before the colonoscopy does not seem to bring more beneficial effect to patients, whereas endoscopist favored the use of both medications. An Analysis on Serious Games and Stakeholders’ Needs for Vocal Training Game Development

배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 발성훈련에 대한 언어치료 환자의 치료 동기와 참여를 향상시키기 위한 기능성 게임에 대한 요구사항과 개발방향을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법: 문헌조사, 이해당사자 요구조사, 기존 3가지 발성훈련 게임(Visi Pitch, Dr. Speech, Vox System)의 벤치마킹 분석이 수행되었다. 결과: 문헌조사를 통해 13가지 게임 사용자 경험 척도들(유용성, 서사성, 몰입, 즐거움, 창의성, 오디오 심미성, 개인적 충족감, 사회적 연결성, 시각적 심미성, 정확성, 개인 맞춤형 분석, 게임 분석, 치료 연속성)이 파악되었다. 사용자 경험 척도들 중 기존 언어치료게임에서 일반적으로 미흡한 속성들로는 창의성(평균 만족도=2.5-4.3; Likert 7점 척도 사용), 사회적 연결성(2.4-4.4), 치료 연속성(1.7-4.7), 그리고 개인 맞춤형(2.5-5.0)이 파악되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구의 사용자 경험 척도들은 발성훈련 기능성 게임을 평가하는 데 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 기존의 게임들이 상대적으로 미흡한 사용성 경험 척도를 보완하는 새로운 기능성 게임 개발이 필요하다. Objectives: The present study intended to identify the needs and development directions of a serious vocal training game for better motivation and commitment of patients with voice disorder to voice therapy. Methods: A literature review, a survey of stakeholders’ needs, and a benchmarking analysis of three vocal training games (Visi Pitch, Dr. Speech, and Vox System) was conducted. Results: From the literature review, thirteen game user experience scales (usability, narratives, play engrossment, enjoyment, creative freedom, audio aesthetics, personal gratification, social connectivity, visual aesthetics, accuracy, customization, game analytics, and therapy continuity) were identified for vocal training games and then applied to evaluation of the existing games. From the user experience scales, features not commonly implemented in the existing games include creative freedom (average satisfaction score, 2.5 to 4.3 out of 7), social connectivity (2.4 to 4.4), therapy continuity (1.7 to 4.7), and customization (2.5 to 5.0). Conclusion: The user experience scales would be of use to assess vocal training games, and new serious games need to be developed to complement the existing games in terms of the four scales found relatively lacking.
