Background/Aims: We performed this study to investigate the efficacy and safety of one-week triple therapy consisted of ranitidine bismuth citrate (RBC), amoxicillin and clarithromycin in the treatment of H. pylori-related peptic ulcers. Methods: Fifty patients with peptic ulcer and H. pylori infection were randomly divided into two groups. One group was administered with RBC 400 mg, amoxicillin 1 g, clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily (RAC group). The other group was administered with or omeprazole 20 mg, amoxicillin 1 g, clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily (OAC group). Four weeks after eradication therapy, H. pylori status, ulcer healing, histological improvement and side effects were assessed. Results: In the RAC group, the eradication rate was 80% (20/25) in the intention-to-treat (ITT) analysis and 95.2% (20/21) in the per protocol (PP) analysis. In the OAC group, the eradication rates in the ITT and PP analysis were 76% (19/25) and 86.4% (19/22), respectively. Ulcer healing rate of the RAC group was 94.7% in the PP analysis. The grade of gastritis was improved after treatment. No significant side effects were noticed in both groups. Conclusions: One-week triple therapy of RBC, amoxicillin, clarithromycin is effective and well tolerated in eradicating H. pylori and healing peptic ulcers. The efficacy is comparable to one-week course of omeprazole-based triple therapy. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2001;37:412-417)
RAW 264.7 세포에서 Heme Oxygenase-1 발현 유도를 통한 송절(松節) 약침액의 항염증 효능

Objectives : The gnarl of Pinus densiflora, called Songjeol in Korea, has been used as a medicinal herb for the treatment of inflammatory-related diseases such as arthralgia, myalgia and bruise. However, the molecular actions and mechanisms have not been clearly investigated. The aim of this study was to clarify the anti-inflammatory activity of Pinus densiflora gnarl pharmacopuncture (PDGP) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Methods : Cytotoxicity was assessed by XTT assay. The amount of nitric oxide (NO) production was determined by nitrite assay. The mRNA expressions of interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) were analyzed by RT-PCR. Reactive oxidative species (ROS) generation was measured using the fluorescence microscopy. In addition, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and redox factor-1 (Ref-1) protein expressions were detected by Western blotting. Results : PDGP inhibited NO production and ROS generation in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. At the mRNA level, PDGP suppressed IL-1β, IL-6 and COX-2 expression. On the other hand, PDGP induced HO-1 mRNA expression. Furthermore, PDGP suppressed iNOS and Ref-1 protein expression. Conclusions : This result suggests that PDGP can act as a suppressor agent on NO and iNOS through induction of HO-1, and play an useful role in blocking inflammatory responses.

In order to investigate the content of total mercury in cattle, we measured the contents of total mercury in fur, hide and liver by mercury analyzer. The content of total mercury of fur in cattle was 59.10±7.97 ㎍/kg, and that of hide and liver was 2.46±0.33, 2.55±0.47 ㎍g/kg, respectively. The contents of total mercury of hide and liver in cattle were less than 20 ㎍/kg, but 49.1% of fur were over than 20 ㎍/kg, 32.7% 20-100 ㎍/kg, and 18.2% over than 100 ㎍/kg. There was higly significant between the content of mercury in fur and hide, but not between sex and age.

한국 민간경비 산업은 주5일 근무와 경제발전에 따른 경비 대상물의 급격한 증가, 범죄증 지역문화축제와 스포츠 행사 등 그 특성상 대규모 행사의 성격을 지니고 있는 경우 시민 및 관광객의 참여로 인한 혼잡 및 테러리즘 등안전상의 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 문제점들은 사회가 다변화 되어감에 따라 그 발생원인 또한 변화되어 왔으며, 대규모 시민참여 행사의 안전대책 역시 변화하는 사회 위협요소들에 따라 변화되어야 한다. 이와 같이 대규모 시민참여 행사 관련 안전사고에 대한 위협요소가 증가되면서 행사 주관 주체는 행사의 목적과 성공전략 뿐만 아니라 안전사고를 예방하고 원활하게 운영되도록 그 내실에 있어서도 만전을 기해야 하며, 안전사고의 발생으로 그 행사 본래의 취지를 퇴색시키는 부정적 결과가 일어나지 않도록 하여야 한다. 이를 위해서는 안전관리 전문가를 행사 운영에 참여하도록 하여야 하며, 그 실질적인 안전관리 활동을 경찰 등 공권력 작용으로 하기에는 한계가 있으므로, 민간경비를 활용하여 이루어지도록 하여야 한다. 이에 따라 민간경비를 통하여 대규모 행사의 안전관리를 위한 혼잡 경비업무를 담당하도록 하기 위한 법 • 제도적 정비가 필요하며, 이를 위해 경비업법 상 혼잡경비업무를 독자적인 경비업무로 규정하여야 한다. 이를 토대로 경비지도사 및 경비원 교육 • 훈련이 혼잡경비업무에 특화되도록 법제화 되어야 할 것이다. Many problems related to the private security in Korea emerges in company with its growth. Hidden behind the structural vulnerability of private security in Korea are legal and institutional problems, which should be solved to lay the foundation for the original example of private security system. In these contexts, this study analyzes the actual conditions and the development measures of private security in Korea. The development ways that make up for the imperfection of current private security system are as follows. First, It should be achieved that Legal Criteria is to be improved and the measure plan that can secure security company founder's work ethics should be suggested. Second, the supervision system is to be done in quality for the purpose of the permission for security business. The supervision department in the police should be operated efficiently by being expanded and in the long term, the independent agency to cover administrative duties related to the private security should be founded. Third, the education system for private security personnels and security counsellors should be actualized and the specialized and practical training should be given to them. Fourth, the Expert Certification System should be enforced to test private security personnels' ability, qualification, and work ethics. Fifth, it is necessary to break down Cut-Throat Competition and petty business. So Company Ranking System and Standard Price System should be introduced and the function of Korea Security Association is to be reinforced.
태권도 돌려차기 시 중앙,전방형 겨룸새 형태에 따른 운동학적 변인 비교분석

본 연구는 신체중심의 위치에 따른 겨룸새 형태에 따라 돌려차기가 어떻게 달라지는지 비교, 분석하여 겨루기 지도와 기술 향상에 필요한 자료를 제공하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 태권도 겨룸새에 있어서 신체 중심을 기저면의 중앙과 전방에 위치시킨 두 가지 형태로 구분하고, 차기는 각 겨룸새 형태에서 제자리 돌려차기와 두 발 물러딛기 후(이동) 돌려차기로 구분하여 국가대표 급 남자 태권도 선수 14명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 또한 250Hz/sec로 설정한 7대의 카메라를 이용하여 동작을 획득하였으며, 수집된 Raw Data를 이용, 산출된 운동학적 변인들을 분석하였다. 수행시간, 신체중심의 이동 및 속도, 각 분절의 속도를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 차기의 전체 소요시간은 제자리의 전방형과 이동의 중앙형이 빨랐다. 둘째, 신체중심이동에서 제자리 전방형이 중앙형보다 목표물 쪽으로 더 많은 이동을 하였으며 신체중심 속도에서 제자리는 전방형이 이동은 중앙형이 빠른 속도를 보였다. 셋째, 다리분절의 각각의 속도를 비교한 결과 넙다리를 제외하고 두 겨룸새 사이의 차이는 없었다. The purpose of this study is to provide the requisite materials for improvement of Gyeorugi coaching and skills by means of comparative analysis on how spin kick changes according to Gyeorumsai form. In order to do this research, whose subjects are 14 national-level male Taekwondo athletes, central body axis is divided into the central and frontal one and Chagi technique is divided into standing spin kick and two-feet back stepping one. For image analysis, seven Cameras set in 250Hz/sec were used to capture their movement and kinematics variables calculated by the collected Raw Date were analyzed. As the factors of analysis, the conducting time, the movement and speed of the body centroid, speed of each segment, it gained the following results. First, with regard to the total consuming time for the kick, the frontal standing position wasfaster than the central one, and at the movement. Second, about the moving distance of the body centroid, the frontal standing position moved more to the object than the central one did. In terms of the speed of the body centroid, the frontal standing position was faster than the central one, and at the movement, it was found that the central type was speedier than the frontal one. Third, the foot segment indicated no great change in its speed between two Gyeorumsai forms except for thai.

Many of the structures constructed since the 1970s have begun to deteriorate. As a result, safety inspection / diagnosis and maintenance are expected to increase further, and long-term and systematic measures are urgently needed to prepare for the aging of major infrastructures. Currently, the safety inspection and maintenance of the structure is carried out by the method based on the utilization of the measurement data and the manager's experience, but the reliability and the accuracy are still insufficient. In other words, there is a limit to understanding the state change of bridges, such as abnormal behavior and gradual damages, therefore, it is necessary to have an accurate and reliable monitoring process using new techniques and systems. For this reason, I would like to examine the possibility of using cloud and big data in the field of infrastructure safety management.
